Update: Yay, they have a kids meal w. Drink. This location has picked up. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend. I love their burger special of the month. This one is the ranch burger, w. BBQ. Had a great lunch today at Jakes Great atmosphere and very pleasant staff. Ordered the country fried ribeye and egg, cinna-pig, and loaded nachos. Top it off with a morning bloody Mary. Shout out to Mrs Kendra, she is awesome. Everything was tasty and yummy.

Tried the sloppy Jake sandwich and Luke was awesome! I’ve been here quite a few times for lunch. I will keep coming 😌

Ate at the Flower Mound location enjoyed the jalapeño burger. Also the saddle burn ketchup was awesome. Your straws are too short for size of your glasses really not guest focused Mr Owner. Fries are not included with burger kinda small portion for the price. Server Vinnie very attentive.

What a great experience! My husband and I stopped for a bite to eat as we were on our way elsewhere, and we'll be back. Our server and floor manager took such good care of us! The food arrived promptly after we ordered, and it was hot and delicious. Our beer was ice cold, and we really felt our business was appreciated. We'll remember our experience here for a long time, and we'll tell others. We're already planning a brunch visit. Thank you.

Hot and hungry. The food was delicious. Cobb salad was very well done with lots of goodies. Hayleigh was friendly, knowledgeable, and engaged in conversation. Made us feel welcome. Terrific service. The restaurant was clean. They say you can tell the managements eye for detail by the cleanliness of the restrooms. It was flawless. Been to Jake’s in Dallas many times. Nice to see they can run multiple units with the same quality of food and service.

We had great and friendly customer service today from Vinnie. He was awesome ! When I told him I wanted to try the Pattie melt, he made some great suggestions to change it up. I loved it !! Will definitely be coming back for more !

Jakes is always great. Burgers are on point, juicy and delicious. The bacon blue is my favorite. Have them add an egg for that pulp fiction feel. A side of half and half bottle caps(fried japalenos) and loaded cheese tots will round out a great meal.

First time at Jake’s and we absolutely loved it! We were greeted at the door and sat immediately. Our waitress was Taylor and she was fantastic from start to finish. I loved the chicken fried chicken with gravy and Texas toast and my husband devoured his Hot Hickory burger. I’d highly recommend getting the fried green bean appetizer and checking out the beer menu. Really cool place even for small kids as they’ve got a nice kids menu with shakes and everything. Will definitely be back.

My husband and I had such a pleasant experience at the Flower Mound Jake’s recently. We were out and about on our bicycles and decided to sit at the bar for a few drinks and dinner. Our server/bartender was Annie, and she was phenomenal - so friendly and attentive. I noticed that she looks after her coworkers too…helping them handle larger orders. The food was great too! Very flavorful!

My draft miller light took forever because the tap was not working…got a bottle instead. But the manager brought both and only charged me for the bottle. Katie was a great sever…friendly, attentive, and very nice. Excellent place…will come back! Highly recommend.

I ordered from doordash and I must say I have been looking for a good burger place for 6 yrs and I found it.. I've passed buy thia place so many times I shop at krogers ... I had the works burger with avocado and extra bacon sweet potatoes fries and onion rings i love onion rings... and man it was really GOOD.. I'm use to a good burger stands in LA. She made it possible for me to enjoy not a burger of my choice; but also tater tots and a milkshake that wasn’t even on the menu . Servers never go out of their way to make sure I can safely eat. This place is so good! We drive past it all the time and finally decided to stop for lunch. We got one of the sharable huge drinks which was delicious. Fried pickles were really good and the burgers came out really really fast. The atmosphere was great, lots of families. The service was great, fast, and really friendly. If you haven't stopped in here, you definitely should!

We had such a wonderful experience! Jake was an outstanding waiter—attentive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure everything was perfect from start to finish. His service truly elevated our evening. The bartender also deserves recognition for carefully listening to my cocktail request and getting it exactly right on the first try. That level of attention and skill does not go unnoticed! The food was absolutely superb—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We especially loved sitting outside with the warmer weather. The outdoor seating area is inviting and comfortable, and the TVs positioned around the space make it such a fun, relaxed atmosphere. (A mix of classic music is recommended). Based on several visits, the only suggestion we would offer is to ensure the outdoor tables are sprayed and wiped down regularly. More often than not, we’ve needed to request that our table be cleaned before being seated. Perhaps adding white fitted tablecloths that can be easily wiped throughout the day and brought inside after hours would help maintain a consistently clean and sanitary experience. Overall, we truly enjoy coming here and appreciate the excellent service and delicious food. We’ll definitely be back!

Typical burger place with consistent food quality. We costed the Flower Mound location today. Emma was our server and she was fantastic. Attentive without being over powering. She was super friendly and we would back just for her. We much prefer this location to the one in Sachse/Wylie.

Spotty service, but the great burgers made up for it. The burgers come without sides so remember that when ordering. Patty's are well seasoned and have the perfect crust to juiciness ratio to make them highly comestible. A decent selection of beers and sides round off the burger offerings.

Our group was large and included two small children, but Annie (our server) was attentive and efficient. Glasses were quickly refilled, two food missteps were quickly corrected, and all was done with a smile! Good job! And the food wasn’t bad either.

Came because the outdoor patio allows dogs and we were craving burgers. Food was great and the drinks were also great. They seemed a little short staffed so it took a while. My first beer was wrong, I drank it anyway because it was still tasty. Asked for another to see what came, and it was the original one I ordered, also super tasty. Good vibes but can’t imagine how it would be if they were actually busy.

First burger joint I decided to try in Texas. The appetizers are delicious and they're different. I was really excited to try the shrimp burger but they were out this day. Instead, I got a chicken fried steak burger. The burger presentation was very beautiful but I feel like it lacked flavor. The patty felt like it needed some seasoning and sauce. Server was great.

We have been fans of Jake's for a long time. The food is good and the atmosphere is fine, not too noisy even with the football game on. They also have pretty good menu options, something for everyone. I do have to say that the prices have crept up. Not unexpected, but burgers are $10.99 to $12.99 with no sides, and each side is $5+. I think the burger prices are probably in line, but the sides are steep. They also switch to electronic check on the handheld device. Not a big fan of that,I just got the total at the pay screen and had to ask for the breakdown.

The 5 stars always to their stellar customer service, this time we were served by Anne , always positive , smiling and checking on how it's going. Hats off to her. The food we tasted were the jalapeno cap burger, my son's favorite, the Swiss cheese and mushroom burger, sweet potato fries, churros, fries and chips n queso. The burgers always are tasty and really nicely seasoned. Both of them were awesome. The fries were good, the only thing that left a bad taste was the chips , they were not fresh this time and were stale. A 'will return again' place .

It was ok. The burger was 3 stars. The tots were cooked perfectly and the people were very nice. That’s why I’m giving it the extra star. I won’t go back, but the people were fantastic. I really appreciate the customer service. Deserves to be recognized! Why was the burger only 3 stars? The bun was dry, very tall, and covered in poppy seeds. I don’t mind the seeds that much, but the tall, dry bun was a taste killer. It might have been a one-off, but the person I was with said theirs was average too.

My daughter ordered the burger and fries off the kids menu along with a Sprite. I had the seasonal pastrami burger with Jake's fries. Everything came out hot and quick. The burger itself was pretty messy. It would not hold together. The condiments pretty much made it slippery and you had to hold it together with your hands. The caramelized onions did not want to stay on the burger. Maybe location? Of the onions could have been adjusted like between the bottom bun and the burger or between the top bun and whatever was next after that. The taste was just okay. Maybe even perhaps the option of charring up the pastrami, or maybe even cutting into it into strips and making it crispy like bacon or deep frying it, would have made it better. The burger also came with bacon, lettuce, tomato, etc.

Felt like basic bar food wasn’t throughly impressed. Bar tender wasn’t quite sure how to deal with a blow keg trying over and over to fill a glass with foam. “It’ll take about 10 min to change. “ Reality it’s 1 minute or less. I’d waited 15 already. Staff were pretty all over the place and confused. They tried to bring us 3 different tables food.

My wife and I went for lunch 1pm on Sunday. The hostess was busy wiping down tables so we did wait maybe 4 minutes before being seated. The hostess noticed us right away and informed us she was wiping down tables and politely asked for our patience. We were seated at a clean booth promptly but we did wait 10 minutes for our waitress. Waiting 10 minutes before being asked for drinks or appetizers or even meeting our waitress is what lead to the 3 star review for the service. Although we waited longer than we would have liked for our waitress, she was very delightful and a great waitress. I have no complaints about her skill as a waitress. The menu is huge! We obviously couldn't taste everything but the menu was intriguing enough that I will definitely go back. In hindsight I should have just sat at the bar I probably would have been served faster seeing as it was empty. Needless to say, I will be choosing Jakes as the go to burger joint as opposed to 5 guys. We ordered 2 burgers, and 2 iced teas. Our total was $38 before tip.

Descent food. Great patio. Dog friendly. Can get your dog a chicken breast for I believe $3.25. Good beers. They recently updated the menu so there are now salads on the menu. Overall I vo because it's dog friendly

I paid $4 for a box of fries that weren’t filled up all the way, wasn’t hot, yet somehow burnt, and they only gave me scraps. Worst fresh cut fries I ever had if I’m honest. Patty melt was good though. Wings were ok.

It was fine. Decent patio and nice server. Burger was a little dry, no sauces on ours. Read the descriptions on things! I ordered sweet potato fries at a glance and when they came I was unpleasantly surprised that they were cinnamon sugared with marshmallow dip.

Really disappointed with Jake’s again. Thought I would give this place second try. Burger was really thin and fries greasy. Service was very friendly. Guess next time I could just walk into Kroger deli and grab and meal.

Okay, I love Jake’s. I’ve been coming to this location for over 10 years and I’ve just always loved it. Service I guess has always been dicey, but tonight? Weird. Food was incredible, great, delicious. The hangover burger and the patty melt were awesome. However, first, the bathrooms. Okay, you put your hands under the faucet and get hit with air because the hand dryers are combined with the faucet. Fine. But, there was literal food from someone’s spit in the sink, so that blew all over the place. Gag. So the water worked, I washed my hands and then had to open the semi-heavy door with my foot with dripping hands because there wasn’t an alternative. I love an environmentally friendly establishment. I really do. However, if you’re going to make it so disgustingly inconvenient, I need a secondary option. The foot thing isn’t helpful for elderly, disabled, different abled, etc., just not cool. Anyways so then my sweet, young, Caroline… sweet waitress, fabulous, she was attentive but not overly crazy, she was great; only girl in the building by the way, was bussing her tables and a sauce fell, spilled everywhere. Was louder than the music, to be clear. Anyways, the thing fell, her hands were full, it spilled all over and some young man sat enjoying his break within view of the whole scene and then the (I assume) manager strolls past!! To chit chat with said young man on break. She had to go put her plates down and then come back with 0 batting of an eye from the several men in the restaurant. Weiiiiird behavior if you ask me, bro. Sure, I’ve worked in a restaurant and know the culture can be shitty, but I never had a man ignore my struggle. Do better. You’re on a service floor with hot sauce laying on the ground, a whole lawsuit waiting to happen!!

It's dog friendly and they have outdoor eating so family dog can go along. It's really about the only reason I go there. Last visit, I had a burger and coke, came to $20.00 (still wondering if we were charged correctly) The burger was hard to hold onto because it was so greasy. Enjoy the outdoors though.

The milkshakes are terrible. The burgers and fries are fine. I wouldnt be writing a review if it weren’t to warn about the shakes. It just tastes like powdered milk and ice with artificial flavoring. There was no whipped cream or cherry either. I haven’t had a shake this bad in years

Unfortunately, I have to recommend AGAINST DoordDashing from this location. The food is excellent, WHEN THEY GET IT RIGHT. It’s close to 50% of the time, our order is wrong enough that one of us can’t even eat what we ordered (allergies). DoorDash submitted the order correctly, and the driver did nothing wrong because they can’t even check your order with the bags stapled shut, which basically leaves you out of luck and out the money you wasted. TLDR; Good food, but should be considered dine in only.

This is the third time my pickup order has been incomplete. I’ve reached my limit with the lack of consistency, so I won't be returning.

I understand closing at 9 but to have the bar area closed at 7 is a personal choice I’m not sure what his name was because he only said like a sentence. Another patron had to let the bartender know that we were ready to order. They only get these stars because the food is good however the service is beyond terrible. I’d probably only order to go or never go to this location again honestly, the first time I’ve had a bad experience with service at a Jakes. Maybe pick a staff that cares. The manager joked that he terrible but maybe there was some truth in his joke.

We have always liked Jake’s and have never had a bad experience until today. This was the first time we went to there Flower Mound location…. The service was the main problem. It’s not busy at all and we never got appetizer until after we were done with our meal. I think we will stick with going to the Frisco or Fort Worth locations.

We've been visiting this place pretty regularly for a long time and while it has become pretty hit or miss, it's been all miss recently. The service is incredibly poor and while the food is pretty good and consistent, it's difficult to get it through the awful service. Went a few weeks ago and ordered a customization to the kid's meal and plain buns for the adults. All three meals came out incorrect and rather than replace or try to make it right, the manager came over and argued with us that we could not have ordered our meals the way our server took it from us. Incredibly frustrating to have to compromise with a hard headed customer service professional, but whatever good help is hard to get everywhere so we let it go. Went again this evening on a Saturday night and the place was over half empty at 6:45. We were sat right away and promptly ignored. Three tables were sat after us and served their drinks without anyone coming to us for quite some time; the server even apologized to the table next to us for the delay. Multiple looks from servers, were told multiple times someone would be right with us. I'm hoping it's just that the manager recognized us and chose to be immature and not serve us, because customer service actually being that bad is incomprehensible. We left after about 20 minutes.

I recently visited Jake's Burgers with some friends, eager to watch the rare NBA Finals game featuring the Dallas Mavericks. We were enjoying the game and our beers when, out of nowhere, the staff cut us off from drinking. We were shocked as we were simply having a good time and responsibly enjoying the game. When we approached the management to understand why we were cut off, they were rude and dismissive, providing no reasonable explanation. Their attitude was unprofessional and their handling of the situation was appalling. It was clear they had no interest in ensuring a pleasant experience for their customers. The mismanagement and poor customer service at Jake's Burgers completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable evening. I hope they address these issues, but until then, I can't recommend this place for watching important games or enjoying a night out with friends.

Ordered a chicken fried steak and gravy tonight. My house is 5 minutes from the restaurant but i waited an hour for this? It even looks like it's got a bite taken out of it. Extremely not satisfied.

We eat at Jakes regularly, the burgers are good and we usually have great service. Until last night. They were busy but had open tables so we were seated immediately. After a few minutes our "waiter" came and took our drink order. 5 minutes later he brought our drinks, water. My wife and I each ordered a burger and we splitan order of fries. We also asked to order a third burger to go on a separate ticket. It was at least 20 minutes before we hit our food. Not once did we see our waiter. We finished our burgers and fries and waited and waited and waited. After a full 15 minutes of waiting my wife got up and tracked down our waiter. A few minutes later he brought our to go order. Then he brought the check, not split like we asked. Again we had to chase him down to pay. He wasn't hard to find, he was always standing around talking. If Jakes doesn't get better service than that we're done.

Ordered one of the Fall Specials, Buffalo Mac and Cheese. It came out in a reasonable amount of time but was cold. (For reference, I am far more likely to need to wait for hot food to cool down. So, if I think food is cold, it is really cold.) I let the server know, and he said he would take care of it and let the manager know. (I did not ask for the manager. The manager stops by and asks if I would like anything, a burger or something. I said no, I would just like it (my food) hot, but I'd like another beer. Waiting. Waiting. The server stops by and asks if I want anything else, and I said no, I just want what I ordered. The server comes back again and says there was some confusion, and the manager thought I didn't want what I had ordered. Got the check and left.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent experience I had at your establishment. As a frequent visitor to sports bars, I was looking forward to an enjoyable evening cheering on my team, the Mavericks, in their final game. However, the events that transpired were quite disheartening. Our group of nine was being served by a new server on her first day, which we completely understand and have no issue with. Unfortunately, the situation took a negative turn when the manager made an "executive decision" to cut off our table after only a beer or two each, despite most of us having ordered meals. This decision seemed to be solely based on the fact that we were vocally supporting our team. As a sports bar, it is expected that patrons would cheer and show enthusiasm for their teams. Our behavior was entirely within the norms of what one would expect in such an environment. Moreover, we were the only patrons dining at the time, which made the decision even more perplexing and unwarranted. This experience significantly dampened our evening and has left a lasting negative impression. I believe that a sports bar should foster an atmosphere where fans can enjoy the game and support their teams without facing undue restrictions. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration to improve the experience for future patrons. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

This is the 2nd time we have had a bad experience when placing an order to go. Yesterday, we were given dry stale fries. This is unacceptable and complete waste of money. If you look at previous reviews they have had the same issue. Any future clients check your food going forward before leaving the restaurant.

It took an hour for them to fill my order! They weren't even busy! They sat my husband and I in the sun and never checked up on us. The Jake's off of Skillman and Abrams, although less polished, is much better.

Ordered a burger and tots with an app. Ordered curbside. Parked right out front in an empty parking lot and waited till the time my order said it would be ready. No one comes out. I call the restaurant and it rings 10+ times with no pick up. Ok maybe they are busy. Walk in place is dead. 2 tables and 1 guy at the bar. Manager is just chilling at the front. I get my order thats been sitting behind the bar for at least 5 minutes. Get home and I get fries that were ULTRA well done and cold 0 seasoning. Rest of the order was as expected. If you are going to offer curbside then do curbside. Other wise take it off your site. Dont serve cold, unseasoned, burnt fries. Was definitely not worth the $30

I order quite often from Jake’s in Flower Mound but tonight my experience was exceptionally poor. My delivery was an hour late. When my food arrived (I only live 10 minutes away) the fries were stone cold like they sat around for an hour and my patty melt was not cut in half like it was requested. I called and spoke to the Manager Zane and he advised me if you order on Jake’s website there is nothing he can do. No apology, no credit, just hurry up and get off his line. What a poor experience! Buyer beware.

Every time we come here they mess up something. I always try to get a strawberry marg on the rocks and apparently, it's always a problem to make. If it's not the drinks they mess up on, it's the food. The last 4 times we went, we always have something wrong and I hate complaining. We had just moved closer to the area and was hoping this would be our new place to frequent on date night. The most recent visit, they insisted the marg was strawberry, but it was clearly cranberry. Each and every time they returned with the new drink, I knew it wasn't right. I have had the strawberry marg here and know what it looks and taste like. My fiancé used to work here and even kept telling them something isn't right. The manager insisted they watched them use the "strawberry" mix, but it kept coming out cranberry. Eventually I just gave up and took the cranberry when they pushed that it was right.

Food is not fresh. The oil maybe used at least 10 days or more. Meat taste awful. I will not come back even if I have lifetime free food from this place. Service is good. Atmosphere is ok
