We had a wonderful lunch at Sakku Thai. We first went there on Thanksgiving day and loved it so much that we went back and it did not dissapoint us the 2nd time as well. People were very friendly and the restaurant was very clean and well kept. Food was really flavourful and tasty. We tried a few appetizers and they were all excellent. Lots of Vegetarian options as well. I highly recommend this place.
I went today to this restaurant to celebrate my friend’s birthday. The atmosphere was so good and the restaurant looks so pretty inside. The service was very very good, they were very welcoming and provided a very good service. Such kind of hospitality is very rare. I would visit here again and would recommend everyone to go. So happy that I went to this place ❤️
Food was very solid. One of the better Thai establishments in the DFW area. Food is slightly on the sweeter side but still very good. Flavors were all there and portion sizes are quite large for the price. Demographic of customers kind of threw me off when coming in, but food proved me wrong! Larb Gai was stellar, Panang Curry was also extremely good. Pad Thai was a bit on the wet/sweet side, but the tamarind flavor was strong! Will come again :)
By far the best food I’ve had since my trip to Japan!! I ordered the Beef Khao Soi with medium spice and it did not disappoint! My husband and I both rate this a solid 10/10! We will be returning! All of the staff were positive and helped us order. My glass stayed refilled as a drank 5 glasses of water and they engaged us with a smile. 🩷 Oh and how could I forget the crab rangoons?? AMAZING! The best I’ve had by far!
We recently tried Sakhuu Thai in Flower Mound, and we’re already obsessed 🤩 We ordered the Pad Thai, and it’s hands down our favorite so far! The service was super friendly, and the whole place had a really cozy, welcoming vibe. If you’re a Thai food lover (or even if you’re just trying it out), this spot is definitely worth checking out💯 Can’t wait to go back and try more from their menu!
I would love to keep this place a secret, but it's too good. One of the best details of each dish is the detailed flavor. We had the duck roti and dumplings for apps. Dinner was also amazing. My husband enjoyed the Khoa Soi with chicken. A very unique dish. And I also enjoyed the white pad Thai. A nice change to heavy peanut sauce of some places. The mango sticky rice was perfection. Good portions on everything. The ambiance is also really nice. Not too loud even though the restaurant was full. Our server, Kate, took her time to explain some of the dishes we were unfamiliar with. Great service.
Absolutely incredible! Sakhuu Thai in Flower Mound is a true gem. My husband and I stopped in for an early dinner. I devoured the spicy Khao Soi, and it was phenomenal – rich, creamy, and with the perfect kick. Beyond the amazing food, the staff were incredibly sweet and inviting, making the whole experience even better. If you're in Flower Mound and craving Thai, this is the place!
Run, don't walk, to this restaurant. Cannot say enough good things about Sakhuu Thai overall, the food, or the workers. I had visited the week of Christmas and loved it; then on Christmas Eve, when the Hibachi place a block away was running 2 hours behind on our reservations, we called and asked if Sakhuu could accommodate 13 people. They said they would try, and in fact they got us seated immediately at 2 tables, even though they were also full. The food came out quickly, and every single guest thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I have since been back many times, mainly takeout, and they are fast, friendly, and there is not better food at any Thai place in Flower Mound or Highland Village. We are very picky and only enjoy authentic, fresh thai food, and every single item we've tried has exceeded expectations. Thank you Sakhuu Thai for opening your door sin Flower Mound!
This place was Great! My wife and I have Thai often and this was one of the best Thai meals we’ve had. She had the Massaman LAMB Curry and I had the Crispy Pork Belly Noodle soup. The broth was incredible! And the ambiance was great as well. Has a fine dining feel but you can dress casual as there’s a nice jazz playlist that’s pop culture style. For sure will come back!
This place has recently opened and I highly recommend it. It is by far the best Thai Food I have experienced. I did order to go, as I was in a hurry. I ordered the Pad Thai Beef and the portion was more than enough and was fantastic to the pallet. The place has an excellent atmosphere to it and great customer service. Needless, to say, I will be bringing friends and family to this place.
This place was a jewel! It's hard to find a great Thai restaurant in my opinion since many people are kind of familiar with Thai food and so so restaurants are everywhere because of the popularity. But this one has all. The balance of the flavors-not too oily, sweet or salty, and the atmosphere was great. Clean, neat and decent interior, and price was not so crazy. I like the menu that has food pictures!!
Absolutely incredible! This Thai restaurant is a hidden gem. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel so welcome — friendly smiles, quick service, and genuine hospitality. We ordered the Pad Thai, Green Curry, and Mango Sticky Rice, and every single dish was bursting with authentic flavor. The balance of spice, sweetness, and freshness was perfect. You can really tell the ingredients are high quality and everything is made with care. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting — warm lighting, beautiful décor, and the aroma of lemongrass and basil in the air. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. If you’re craving Thai food that’s both comforting and authentic, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be coming back (probably sooner than I should!).
This place is OUTSTANDING! The food was amazing , The service was A++ and everyone there was so nice and the atmosphere is modern but also cozy! I’ve just found my new favorite Thai Restaurant! I had the pad kee mow with tofu and my friend had the red curry and the flavor and freshness of the food was just soo good! AND they can make any dish vegan!! Their mild is truly mild so if you like some spice go up to the medium or higher. I give this place a 20/10!
If your looking for some good sushi to share with family and friends, or a date with someone special, this place is a find. We drive from Coppell because we like the quiet atmosphere, nice staff, and consistently great sushi. If you visit, let Kimmi know we referred you.
I have been here twice now. I’d say the first time was better than the second. I have tried two of the curries, phad see ew, crispy basil chicken and crab fried rice. Generally found the quality of ingredients used to be high. The first time I went for dinner and the restaurant was pretty much full. The second time I went for lunch and we were the only ones in there on a weekend. They have a few specialties on the menu that I’d like to go back and try.
Saakhu is a wonderful place if you are in a mood for delicious Thai food. My wife and I were on a lunch date, and were looking for a good Thai food spot in Flower Mound area. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food served. We ordered spicy yellow curry and green curry with steamed sticky white rice. The portion size is good and the food is “spot on” delicious. For lunch menu, they serve spring rolls and salad on the house. The salad comes with peanut sauce that takes the salad to the next level. We thoroughly enjoyed the food; if you are in a mood for freshly cooked and delicious thai food, look no further, Sakhuu in Flower Mound is the place.
The food was prepared well. The crispy egg rolls and sea salt edamame made for good appetizers. Surprisingly, they had happy hour on Sunday. The old fashioned was good. I had the pad won sen with shrimp. Very tasty.
Overall excellent experience. Not a Thai food expert but everything was pretty good! It was a nice change of pace from the restaurant food I'm used to eating as a Texan but not TOO exotic. Would recommend and would gladly revisit! Was pretty loud and hard to hear/talk to my family but not much you can do about that if you can't sit outside.
First experience, here was this:Kate was so amazing! She took great care of me and the food was amazing. The service was excellent and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Definitely will be back. Second experience I came back and service was great. They were very accommodating even though I had to catch a late night dinner. Third experience the bartender was not very welcoming and made me feel like I wasn’t welcome. Not sure I’m gonna come back so I’ve lowered my stars from 5
Wow!! This has officially become our favorite local restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and the irresistible aroma of bold, authentic Thai flavors. Every dish was fresh, bursting with flavor, and beautifully presented. The vibe is cozy yet modern. So delicious! We’ll definitely be back
We arrived around 6:30PM (Happy Hour 11AM - 7PM) and we ordered primarily from the happy hour menu - pan fried pork dumplings and thai meatballs. Both very good! In fact, the dumplings were so good, I forgot to get a picture. I can’t wait to go back and order them again! As for the the Mango Sticky Rice? wow, must try.
Ended up at Sakhuu Thai by accident and was pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere was cute, service was great, food was delicious and plentiful. Their lunch menu was very reasonably priced. Will be back!
This is the best Thai food I’ve had all year. Kate was the best server as well! She made our experience so fun and enjoyable along with the yummy food.
Our waitress, Kate, was a joy! She shared a bit of Thailand with us and made us feel really welcome! The food is absolutely delicious! Would be coming back again!!
Everything is so fresh and so delicious the crab meat pork and bok choy was amazing. All curries at the table were spot on with spice. Thank you so much.
The crab fried rice and basil fried rice were both excellent—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Service was friendly and attentive, making the meal even better. Highly recommend this spot, and I’ll definitely be coming back!
GENUINELY THE MOST AUTHENTIC THAI FOOD I’VE EVER HAD IN FLOWER MOUND! WORDS ARE NOT ENOUGH TO EXPRESS HOW HAPPY IT MADE ME TO FINALLY HAVE SUCH GOOD THAI FOOD ONLY 10 MINUTES AWAY FROM HOME 😭❤️ The server that served us was so sweet and another employee Kate was such a sweetheart as well! She made comforting conversation and we bonded over the beauties of Thailand and its food! I look forward to coming back and just know it is well worth the price! Perfect for a date night, solo, or with friends! I look forward to the success of this business!

Sumptuous meal, excellent service and nice ambience. One of the best Thai restaurants in Flower Mound area. Bonus is that close to Grapevine Lake.

We went there for our anniversary dinner. It was a great recommendation by our friend. No disappointments at all. The food was delicious and the service by Rose was excellent..Very reasonable portions served and great taste. I would definitely recommend and will certainly get back.

The food is amazing and full of flavor. It feels like they use high quality ingredients and preparation. The basil friend rice isn’t oily or greasy, it’s light and full of flavor. Great texture and aroma. The yellow curry was deeply complex and full bodied. Great food and wonderful drinks. One of the best Thai places around flower mound. Try a Singha beer to pair with a spicy dish!
Honestly have not tried Sakhuu Thai sooner. I was in the mood for Khao Soi with the cold weather and it is not that easy to find in the area. We stopped in to this lovely restaurant for the first time. We were greeted promptly and the service was outstanding for our entire visit. They had a happy hour on offer with a selection of appetizers and we selected the Tempura Vegetables. There was a wide variety of vegetables included and they were all quite tasty. For Entrees we had the afore mentioned Khao Soi and I would recommend it to anyone. Perfect spice, great pickled vegetables, and a rich broth made for a fantastic dish. We also had the Mussaman Curry which was also great. This is a true gem in the heart of Flower Mound and definitely the best Thai in the immediate area. If you are a Thai fan and live in the area you know most of the restaurants serve everything far too sweet, but the flavors here are on point. Highly Reccommended!
The food was delish! It tasted fresh and very flavorful. The veggie spring rolls were made to perfection and the pad Thai is flavorful. The dining area is kind of small but we had an outdoor table that accommodate us perfectly. Staff was very nice
Possibly the best Thai restaurant in the area, maybe even in DFW! Crab fried rice is on point! Pad Thai is delish! Atmosphere is perfect for date night, girls night, or a special family dinner. Been here twice and both experiences were great. Went recently with our little daughter, and she felt so special and “fancy!” We will come back to try other items on the menu. Happy hour prices selection is worth it. Overall, 💯 recommend this place!
Wyatt and Kuhn were so good! I went there for the first time on a valentines date night with my husband. Kuhn made us a special dessert knowing it was our first time. The food is so amazing!! Would highly recommend this place to all the Thai food lovers!!

I orderex Khao Soi (the beef noodle curry), Fried dumpling, and the green chicken curry. The Khao Soi is must try! Service is good.
Chicken yellow curry is good, spicy level Isn’t spicy, more like mild. Interaction with staff makes me never want to come again from the call to place an order to picking up the food entire staff is unwelcoming.
I ordered through DoorDash so I don’t know who to blame but most likely it’s the restaurant’s fault. I ordered their duck noodle soup, Shirley Temple drink, crispy spring rolls and lump crab dumplings. First off this is my first time ordering from them ever! And it will be my last! The box that the duck meat came in had fried duck meat instead of roasted duck meat like the menu indicates. On DoorDash the duck noodle soup comes with ROASTED DUCK BREAST MEAT NOT FREAKING FRIED!!! It said duck breast meat not freaking leg and mystery parts like I got!!! Second, why was there a freaking bug right on top of my bok choy as soon as you open the freakin box!!! I know they saw that freaking bug!!!! Shirley Temple had almost no ice cause it melted making it watered down and horrible! The freaking lump crab dumplings were PORK not CRAB as I ordered! If I wanted nasty pork dumplings I would have ordered them I wanted CRAB!!!! Lastly, the freaking box was greasy makes me think I got somebody’s trash! The spring rolls were mushy not crunchy! This was some leftover or an order not picked up or simply trash!!!! It was definitely not fresh nor presentable! Bugs in my food is UNACCEPTABLE!!! Plus the portions were small and measly. Trash for over $50! Freaking Trash! They lucky they refunded my money. I’m done ordering out in the DFW! I don’t know how these restaurants are getting away with charging an arm and a leg for this tasteless noncaring Food! Any fool know you don’t fry duck meat! Duck meat barely got meat. It’s mostly fat! You savor the meat by roasting it! Not freaking frying it! Duck is not cheap! You ruined the meat frying it! I spoke to the manager. He tried to play crazy on me but I’m a little bit more crazy. So he contacted DoorDash and they refunded my money fully! I do not recommend this restaurant and I will never order from them nor eat in person ever again! In fact, I’m done giving these trifling restaurants my hard earned money. It’s ridiculous what they charge for food and it’s crazy we allow them to do it! Texas needs a food wake up call cause all this food around here especially the Chinese Food is Nasty, Tasteless, and plain horrible! Plus you get lousy customer service and bugs in your food! Where are the health inspectors around here!!!!!? TRASH
Overpriced disappointment! This place is trying so hard to be upscale, it forgot the basics… like flavor, freshness, and customer service. We ordered a parade of appetizers: emerald dumplings, veg dumplings, and a papaya salad that looked like it had been crying in soy sauce for hours. And yes — there were tomatoes in the papaya salad. Unclear if this was innovation or sabotage. Drinks? Served in dramatic glassware — well, the alcoholic ones at least. The mocktail came in something so dull, I half expected a juice box. Because nothing says “we care about your experience” like putting zero effort into your non-alcoholic guests. The entrées? Phuket island, crab crispy noodles, salmon panang, and veg pad thai. The salmon arrived already defeated — possibly not fresh, definitely poorly cooked, and entirely unfit for human consumption. We politely sent it back, assuming any decent establishment would take it off the bill. But no — they charged us full price for the plate we returned. Service was… absent. We were the only people in the restaurant, yet still had to work for their attention. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any more absurd, they tacked on an 18% service charge. For what? Breathing? Sakhuu Thai is the culinary equivalent of a knockoff designer bag — looks impressive from a distance, but get too close and it all falls apart. Save your money. Save your taste buds. Go literally anywhere else.
