Drinks were perfect and beautiful!! Dinner was delicious. Highly recommend the molcajete -- a screaming hot pot with all sorts of yummy treats. Ceviche is still my favorite. Can't wait to come back!

Food is awesome. After 7 years in DFW, finally found a place that serves authentic molcajete. Food portions are perfect, great flavors. I recommend the coffee french press. Usually we eat and leave, but this place makes you stay with the vibe. As mexican it felt like home. Recommend the place 100%. Ahh one last thing, Mia was our waitress, very nice and polite.

My husband and I went to Los Caminos as a special treat for my birthday. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and immaculately clean! One feels like they have stepped into a resort when they step inside. The service was very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a lot of unique drinks to choose from (we need to return soon for one of their happy hours!). Their food was delicious! I noticed others complaining about the portion sizes, but we thought the portions were perfect...not too small and not too big. And we had left room for dessert! Los Caminos' Creme Brulee was AMAZING! We were not expecting that from a Mexican restaurant, but do not miss it!

There is a multitude of olaces to eat in Dallas for Tex-Mex food. There are not that many for high end Mexican Cousine. This is what this restaurant does, and even their server was proud of this fact. I could tell that people care deeply about hwlping us have a good experience, and we did. We gad a great conversation and some amazing food. The portions in some of the plates were not that big, but sometimes that's ok too. The food was delicious, and the ambiance was a mix of traditional mexican objects with a twist of modern and elegance. I would come back.

It was our first time coming in and man were we blown away! Not just by the food, but the staff. We had Diego as our waiter for the night. He was very attentive and helpful on the menu to make the best selections. We had the oysters and I’m not big on them, but after one bite I was hooked. We also had the scallops, Langosto and the beef fajitas. All were so amazing. Oh ya don’t forget to get the chocolate cake at the end!! We would 10 out of 10 be coming back to try more dishes!!!!!

Great restaurant in Flower Mound. Unique take on Mexican cuisine. Beautiful restaurant decor. Can be a bit noisy. Nice patio and bar area. Plenty of menu choices from appetizers to entrees to dessert. Service is quick and friendly. Chicken enchiladas are excellent. Queso blanco didn’t have much flavor but came out piping hot. Lobster ceviche and tortilla soup are with a try. Fajitas are a bit different than the traditional - don’t come out sizzling, instead are presented in a bowl. Good overall addition to town, giving folks an option for a nice dining experience.

I’ve been to Los Caminos twice this month, and both visits were outstanding! This newer, upscale Mexican/Latino restaurant in Flower Mound has quickly become a favorite. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a beautiful bar and great cocktails, and the staff is consistently professional, friendly, and attentive. On my first visit, I was with a large group and everyone at the table was happy with their meals. I ordered the Langosta Lobster Enchilada with corn—absolutely delicious, with bold, perfectly balanced flavors. On my second visit, with a party of six, I had the Achiote Braised Pork (Cochinita Pibil)—tender pork wrapped in a banana leaf with flavorful rice, beans, house-made tortillas, and a kick of habanero sauce. Just incredible! (being from Hawaii it reminded me of lau lau, also wrapped in banana leaves) Fresh guacamole is always a plus! The menu offers a great variety of elevated dishes that still feel authentic and satisfying. Highly recommend Los Caminos if you’re looking for a fresh take on Mexican cuisine with top-notch service and a refined, welcoming vibe. Can’t wait to go back!

I have been excited for this place to open and have been following it's progress since I first heard about it coming to the Lakeside area. Finally made it in last night. I had pretty high expectations and they were met. The menu was pretty exciting for me. Lot's of seafood options! We tried the Tuna tartare, Snapper ceviche, wood grilled oysters, and split the Molcajete. They were all great, nothing I wouldn't order again. My favorite was the Snapper Ceviche with watermelon. Was a little concerned the watermelon would be overpowering. It was very balanced. Portions were larger than expected. Prices were very fair in my opinion. Frozen Paloma's! Let's not forget the restaurant is gorgeous. I own and operate a Asian fusion/sushi restaurant. Pretty picky with food and service. Always looking for great local restaurants. We found another one, will be in our rotation for sure. Great job on Los Caminos, guys!

Visited for the 1st last night for dinner. Loved everything about the place! The service was spectacular, the food was different and delicious! It was a Tuesday eve so it wasn't packed but I could see it being a little loud on a Friday/Saturday evening! The wine selection was nice and the standard 8oz pour refreshing! I will definitely be back!!

This place is awesome! Probably the most authentic Mexican food I've had outside of Mexico. It is a very good mix of food options from the coastal regions of Mexico. Everything is very fresh and unique. Service is outstanding. Anticipatory service and friendly staff - everything you expect in a high class restaurant. Everything is absolutely stellar! I could go on and on, but instead I would ask you to come check it out for yourself! (Update) I just went for the third time. Consistently excellent every visit. The service is top notch. Margaritas are great. Not that cheap sour mix you get it other places. This time I had the mokojete and it was delicious! I can't wait for my next visit so I get to try something else!

As a longtime Flower Mound resident of over 20 years, I always enjoy checking out new restaurants that come to town—and I’ve been especially looking forward to trying Los Caminos, located on the southeast corner of Lakeside Parkway and International Parkway(2499). I happened to be in the area today around lunchtime and decided to stop in. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by a friendly hostess who directed me to their beautiful, large and elegant curved wraparound bar. It was around 2 PM, so the restaurant was not too crowded—perfect for a relaxed lunch. Shortly after sitting down, I was greeted by I believe was one of the managers as well as a very pleasant bartender. She offered me a cocktail and some chips and salsa. I went with a margarita on the rocks—it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The chips were average, but the homemade salsa really made up for it—packed with flavor and not too much heat. After browsing the menu, I ordered a cup of their Sopa De Tortilla(Tortilla Soup) and an appetizer of Ostras Asadas(Wood Grilled Oysters) on the half shell. The tortilla soup was a hearty blend of shredded chicken, tomato, avocado, tortilla strips, queso fresco, and a touch of cilantro—comforting and full of flavor. The oysters were perfectly grilled with just the right amount of garlic, lime, and chimichurri—fresh, bold, and absolutely delicious. Overall, it was a great first experience. I’m looking forward to going back and trying more from their menu. I hear they have an awesome weekend brunch! Flower Mound has a winner with this one!

Los Caminos is my new favorite spot in Flower Mound for innovative, modern, Mexican food. Everything we ordered was excellent but the fajitas were a particular standout due to the time spent smoking the skirt steak. These were the best fajitas I’ve eaten. Our server (Logan) was a standout and was prompt and attentive while answering all menu questions and ensuring we had everything we needed. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with fireplaces that makes it feel like some sort of Mexican lodge. Los Caminos is locally owned and operated so it’s truly unique. One example of this uniqueness is the availability of some elite bourbons (like Blanton’s) alongside the expected extensive tequila selection. Thank y’all for that! We’ll certainly be coming back regularly.

So full disclosure. I'm a US Born Mexican and married to a Mexican born woman. The food is blah. Its NOT there. Really. The presentation is fabulous but zero SABOR. The servers are excellent. The bar is great. Ambiance is there. But no Sabor. I ordered the Halibut ala pipian. That Michelin.Star esque shmear of Pipan on the dry overcooked Halibut. No Manches. Also mi esposa ordered el chile relleno. Nada de Sabor. Simply dull. I really want to like this place. Great people there, but the brass of this place needs to consult an Abuelita and/or a Mexican mom for a recipe overhaul. EXCELLENT TEQUILA selection. The BEST in FloMo. Beats everyone. Also $4 for a side (3) of store bought corn tortillas. Shame. Tortillas SHOULD be included in a Chile Relleno. It's common sense in Mexican cuisine.

We were in the area and decided to try this place based off of other reviews and the close proximity. It was Sunday about 5:30pm and they were not busy. We were seated immediately by the friendly host. The inside of the restaurant was very warm and inviting. A lot of care was taken in the design and appearance. There was a small delay in getting drinks and making our order but our server, Hunter, explained the situation and apologized. That’s all I needed to hear. The chips were really good and the salsa was really great. I would probably outright buy their salsa as most of the stuff in supermarkets is garbage. We ordered the brisket tacos and the chicken mole, both with corn tortillas. The brisket was good and I wished there was a bit more of it. The fresh, homemade corn tortillas were delish and very refreshing to have instead of the standard off the shelf corn tortillas. The mole was very tasty and spiced well. Some of the chicken was fatty but overall it was good. Management and possibly owners stopped by to check in on us, which was very classy and appreciated. We will definitely come back to try some of the different dishes and would recommend this place for people wanting a great dinner experience.

As a FlowerMound resident was so excited to welcome and try a new mexican place. The vibe and service lived up to the hype, but I did wish the food stood tall too. The fresh guac lacked flavors of onion cilantro etc.., the quality of meat was not upto the mark _ may be its a one time outlier. We also did mention about the grilled asada having a lighter fluid after taste.considering the pricepoints will be good to revisit the quality n taste of food. The cocktail was great.A 'may not visit' again place.

This place is overall good! The ambiance/atmosphere is great vibes! The service could improve some - some of the waiters aren’t knowledgeable on the menu or reverse happy hours! But it’s not a deal breaker. The service is inconsistent, we have been about 10 times. Proximity to our house keeps us coming back. The food is good! My favorite is either the carne asada fajitas or the brisket enchiladas! The reverse happy hour is great! I think we have ordered everything from it and it’s great for a late night snack! Great idea!!!
