The last time we drove though, but we have eaten inside many times in the past. It's a pleasant atmosphere.
The people working make this restaurant top quality. They are always so nice and make sure the food is always hot and fresh. We will make sure we go to this location over others because the experience is always wonderful.
We had a semi complicated order because I was trying to use my rewards and MK handled it like a pro! She was so efficient, even remembered our extra plates something that can often be forgotten. After she was done taking our order, she started helping other customers and cleaning up the eating area! The whole time we enjoyed our food I never saw her not working or helping out customers! Great employee!
The service was great! We were asked if we needed anything twice as we were seated inside. I have to put four stars for food due to the lack of sauces offered. The dining room was clean and staff were keeping tables clean when customers left.
Love this place. Their dipping sauce is the best. One word of precaution though: Do Not get the coleslaw! Two visits in a row their coleslaw tasted exactly like dish soap. Even smelled like soap. Since it’s happened twice I’ll assume it doesn’t actually have soap in it and I have to figure some ‘secret’ ingredient or combination of ingredients in the recipe creates that taste. Unfortunately there isn’t much to substitute it for so it’s just kind of a waste. UPDATE: Went back tonight and out of morbid curiosity I got the coleslaw again just to see… and it tasted great! So I’m happy on the one hand but on the other hand now I’ve got to believe that it actually was hand soap that I tasted in the last two trips (which I guess is not that weird knowing that we go there often and they probably make a big batch) and it’s possible I got two cups from the same batch. So moral to this story? I’m glad I spoke up and (hopefully) they threw out the old batch. But now more than ever I say, at least in the near term, definitely check the coleslaw before you eat it! Plus, considering this new revelation I’m down grading the food stars to 3.
Downgrade to sell by NOMNOM. This used to be a great review. Now ok food but still super fast. First time the place being sort of dirty I left out. . Only the 2nd time it was worse. Tables and benches were gross! I didn’t even want to sit down it was so bad. Spilled drinks on the floor, fry sauce poured out on a table and the place was fairly empty. Food in every crack of the benches and greasy as the kitchen floor. Come on people! You’ve got 5 kids “smokin and jokin” just a phrase.. but get it together, where’s your manager.
When the Drive-Thru worker handed me the drink the top of the first drink came off and caused me to spill the drink all over the center console of my car (picture is after 30 minutes of cleaning in the parking lot), Called the manager from the parking lot to complain and he admitted they do not fit correctly. He explained that they do not have the normal tops due to supply chain issues. I asked him to meet me in the parking lot so we can document the issue because I am taking my car to BMW to have the center console disassembled and cleaned he hung up on me. Sending the bill to this location anyway.
Love this place but today my husband and I both got food poisoning from this location.
whoever was taking orders at 5:15pm on Monday Jan 5th, in the drive thru was SO rude and stopped speaking and acted like I was stupid whenever SHE needed me to repeat my drink order
Now I understand why they have so many bad reviews! About a month or so we drove by and got food for the road (we where visiting mom) the food was HORABLE cold hard fries , the chicken had a horrible vinegar flavor and the drinks where so tasteless since it was mainly ice(we asked for easy ice) we called and spoke to Hazel said she couldn’t refund us but would replace our meals. A month passed by we where in the are and stopped by we where told she was no longer working there but would replace our meals they read back the order like 4 times yet our food again was wrong!! I asked to please make sure the fries were FRESH yea we got soggy cold fries, the smallest chicken fingers ever!!(the excuse was the provider sent smaller chicken ) the “lettuce” on the sandwich wasn’t even lettuce!! The Drinks again no dam flavor as it was more ice than drink! We didn’t even get coleslaw! The food was the most disgusting food I have ever had! I’m 100% sure it’s not canes it’s just this place!! I wish I could upload pictures but it won’t give me the option!
I went to place an order and the heavyset white lady has a bad attitude when serving customers, including deliveries. She offers terrible service; I think she's the manager.
Terrible location, got asked to pull forward in the drive through lane. Ordered two box combos and I saw 4 cars behind me get their food.
I was going through the canes drive threw gave the person a 20 at the first window he gave me change later realized the five I was given looked funny, and the next day tried using the five at a gas station and they wouldn’t even accept the money said it looked fake. The food was very bad this time a-swell fries were extremely salty tasted terrible was a waste of money I’m not sure I’m going back to this canes.
I went through the drive through and ordered a gallon of sweet tea. I arrived at my next location 15 minutes later and poured a glass of tea, it was Not sweet. I returned to the restaurant and let the know that they had given me the wrong item. The team member behind the counter informed the manager that they were out of sweet tea, except for the one right behind the counter and that's why they had given me unsweetened. I waited an additional ten minutes to get a gallon of sweet tea and ask if I could be compensated and my money refunded. I was told "No" and if I had an issue I could call customer service so, I obliged them.
I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but I feel like I need to warn others. My daughters have gotten sick twice after eating at Cane’s. Specifically this and the lewisville location. We gave them the benefit of the doubt the first time, but it happened again after another visit. That’s unacceptable, especially when it comes to kids’ health. Food safety and quality control clearly need serious attention here. We won’t be going back.
I asked if the extra pieces of chicken were in each box, and the young man replied, "Yes." I ordered 2 "3 fingers" and did not get extra fingers that are only available today, 7/27/2025. It's not cool.
The staff of this particular restaurant will no longer receive my patronage as the workers inside the space seem more focused on socializing and being on their phone rather than making sure they are completely preparing orders including additional items that customers PAY FOR. If you can muster the extra couple miles just go to the one off Main Street. They’re both primarily occupied by teenagers which is completely fine. It just seems training amongst staff is held to a different standard
