The best place for hot pot! A good variety of meat, seafood, and veggies. Friendly and helpful staff.

Z

Decent price! Went with the middle option to get unlimited meat slices! Lots of options for veggies and sides. Even includes a small selection of cooked sides. Drinks are included as well from normal fountain drinks to specialty soft drinks. There is 1 and half hour time limit and your whole party must be here before they seat you. Also the entire party must choose the same AYCE option.

Amazing affordable hotpot restaurant!! I had house special AYCE and it was amazing! I could get unlimited meat and salad bars including all the seafoods and vegetables. It was 30+$ per person after tax and tips and it was totally worth it! Even unlimited soda! I really wanna go visit again soon :) !! Come to Happy lamb hot pot if you love hotpot! They were very friendly and nice too❤️ I really enjoyed it😊

The Food was Delicious, Fresh, & Brought to our Table with Positive Energy & Intention. The Waiters/Servers go Above and Beyond for their Guests. Their was A very Genuine, Welcoming Hospitable Energy Amongst the Workers and the Atomsphere in Totality. I Strongly Urge and Recommend if one is into ASIATIC Culture & Food to Try out this Experience.

Amazing Hot Pot, for the first time I was served so quickly. The waiters are so fast and from the moment we ordered, they brought us a couple of minus pots of broth. We like to eat quickly, so we liked it. We also had children with us, and they liked everything too. and open access to products makes the choice easier. We love to eat corn, and often in other places they just forget about it and do not bring it. Tomorrow I am going to come to you again. Even though I live an hour away from this place, I am still ready to come back here. And I plan to come here with friends, this is a really good place. The price matches expectations, we took a full package, and at the end they even gave us ice cream, I thought it would not be tasty, but even after we ate so many delicious items, the ice cream turned out to be really tasty.

Happy Lamb offers great value for a quality meal. There ingredients are high quality, and the service is always good. I would recommend the split pot with the spicy and original if it is your first time. Both broths are flavorful and aromatic. When I usually eat here, the bill is around 50-60 dollars for feeding two people. They now also have an all you can eat meat option, for basically 19 dollars a person. This is my go to hotpot place, and it always delivers.

Amazing service and prices, very reasonably priced especially for the all you can eat. Atmosphere is unique and well thought out. Highly recommend

The weekday AYCE promotion is honestly unbeatable in Flushing. You have access to unlimited meats, cold bar, and soda, and I feel like that’s all you need to be satisfied. The broth is flavorful but not overpoweringly spicy like some other places. You can see whole pieces of sauerkraut, Sichuan peppercorn, cloves, garlic, and dried red peppers floating in the broth. The meats are clean and cut neatly. I don’t feel like I need to make sauces from the sauce bar because the broth is so incredible.

Best go-to spot in flushing. Almost no wait. Attentive and friendly service. Fresh ingredients. Split soup for spicy and regular, cucumber garlic appetizer, beef tripe, shrimp paste, can’t go wrong with lamb and/or beef, mushroom platter, pumpkin, and 1-2 green leaf vegetables. Herbal tea is optional. Everything comes out to $20-25 per person.

Best hotpot place 100000%!!! Service is super kind, broth is actually authentic and the best I have ever had. I love how you can grab as much food as you want to without asking (As long as you don’t waste it). It is also really cheap and totally worth your money. The food is actually always fresh, so everytime I’m in the area I come here. They have great selections and you won’t regret coming here!!

This place is absolutely amazing! You are getting plenty for your buck. The environment is great and it just feels nice to eat at. The customer server is amazing. They come to your table often and I didn’t even realize empty plates were gone after I set they down. I would highly suggest that you eat here.

A woman with short hair IDK she’s host, owner, serve r whatever she is super nice and recommend us many thing. Pork is good but beef is too much frozen. I gonna bring condense milk with me next time for deep fried milk bun. Recommended. Cheaper and better than H.D.L. Updated: I feel like the quality of shrimp and vegetable and beef is drop. First plate of meat is good but if you order more and more they’ll give your frozen meat one.I understand the Bidenflation. Also the fried lotus root is so gooooood if it’s hot

Went there on a weekday afternoon. Wasn’t busy. The waitresses there are really nice and check up on you. They refilled our soup broth like four times. The meat here is pretty phenomenal, I would say better than 99 and shabu shabu. After tip and tax we paid $35 a person. This includes unlimited meat, fountain soda, sauce, vegetables, and there’s even orange slices/peanuts/melon to snack on. Their seafood selection is limited. Overall great experience and I would say the best bang for your buck.

B
Bob

Hotpot here has always been consistent. The options meats, vegs, and seafood are great. The portion size are average but the quality of the food is what stands out. The servers are also pretty attentive and friendly(uncommon in Flushing from personal experience). They milky pig bone soup base with pig belly and fatty beef is a must try in my opinion. The only negative I would have is that your clothes will retain the smell even if your hide them in their underseat storage. Other than that - nothing negative about this place.

Cozy AYCE hotpot spot. The broth was decently flavored, service was quick, and meat was pretty fresh. Of note, there is a 90 minute time limit and the pot is family-style so if anyone is uncomfortable sharing food, this is not the place for you. The vegetable bar had great selection and there's the bonus of unlimited soda. The largest tables we saw seated 6 people but this is a cozy spot best enjoyed by couples or small groups generally (3-4 people). Overall, worth returning to. 9/10

It’s just gokd value AYCE hot pot. This is where I go to load up on protein whenever I am bulking. Short of cooking myself, this is the most delicious and cost effective way to get like a kilo of beef into my body.

Their lunch buffet is sooooo worth it. AYCE for under 30 bucks. I love all their meat they were very tasty and the soup is fresh. Don’t recommend the seafood tho they were kinda mid

Happy Lamb Hot Pot is a hidden gem in Flushing, Queens. This popular hot pot restaurant offers a wide variety of meats, vegetables, and broths to choose from, so you can create a meal that is tailored to your taste buds. The meat selection is particularly impressive, with a variety of beef, lamb, pork, chicken, and seafood options available. The meats are all cooked to perfection in the hot pot broth, and they are incredibly tender and flavorful.

$24.95 you can eat it all! Lots of choices. For ethnic Chinese, the spicy numbing soup base isn’t the most potent one, lacking in flavor. So only 4 stars on food. But I think for non-Chinese, it would be spicy & numbing enough. Lots of seafood & meat & veges. Bill came out to be $55 for 2 people before tips. Legit best value in town for AYCE hotpot.

P

Broths are the best. Variety of fresh meat and veggies. Vicky provides us a great service. I’ll come back for sure.

S

Food was fresh, service was attentive, warm cozy atmosphere. It is a all you can eat restaurant and one can have an hour and half to finish your meal.

S

Nothing is better on a cold winter day than hot pot. Ordering the half & half broth is the ultimate cheat; it’s the best of both worlds. What I like to do is cook my foods in the spicy broth and drink only the milky broth. Trust me on this, your insides will thank you. Both the broths are full of herbs and spices which gives them depth and a rich taste. Ingredients here are always fresh. The sauces in the sauce station are pretty basic as the flavors of the broths are already so strong. While it is located in the heart of Flushing, the interior is modern with a cozy ambiance. There are cubbies underneath the seats to store your belongings so they won’t smell. Ventilation is not the best here so for those who don’t like the smell of lamb, beware.

One of the best hot pot locations in NYC! Amazing service. Amazing food. The appetizers station is always amazing and has a good variety of starters. The ingredients are always fresh in the hot pot stations. And they have unlimited fountain drinks including sodas and teas. And a small dessert counter. Service is fast and efficient.

First time trying out hotpot, such an interesting experience. I tried all 4 broths and my favorite is most definitely the original, I love the meat options and the sauce bar!

This is my go to hotpot place every time I come to Flushing looking for a taste of home. The food is always fresh and delicious. As someone who tends to eat a lot, the AYCE format really gives me a chance to try out all of my favorites in one full meal. Highly recommend!

Excellent bustling spot in Flushing! It was my first time doing Hot Pot. The staff was friendly. We had a 20 minute wait when we went in because the place was so busy but they are very fast and efficient. The food was all fresh and amazing. We had lamb, chicken and fish. You're able to add what veggies you want. Overall a very satisfying experience. Will definitely be coming again!

Came here on a Friday evening around 6:30pm. Ordered for two people and may have over ordered but the server was nice to tell us that it was too much. So we removed an order of meat thankfully. The broths were so good and meat quality was amazing. Portion was generous and everything was really fresh. Service was also really great! Everyone was so nice checking up on our meal, clearing empty plates constantly, and just overall a really great experience. Highly recommend this hotpot place in Flushing. This will be one of our favorite spots from now on. Update: came back during Father’s Day dinner rush but lucky to get a table! We did the AYCE deal and thought it was really worth it!

today there was a $2 daily special for the lamb platter and beef platter. we ordered half & half broth (spicy and original) with the veggie combo platter, lamb platter, beef platter, egg noodles, enoki mushrooms, a side of pickled garlic, and a side of rice cakes. the staff were kind too. i almost ordered too many items but our waiter suggested cutting down certain portions. saved us money! in the end, we spent less than $50 anD had leftovers. easy 5 stars :)

This was my third time eating at this establishment and this place continues to delight. There was a little wait, but my party was seated a in private alcove. Our order was placed and our hotpot items promptly arrived. My party ordered the mushroom platter, lamb shoulder, shrimp balls, spongey tofu, baby bok choi, and udon noodles. The mushroom platter added a nice depth of flavor to my.portion of the hotpot. There is a sauce and fresh herb bar which I visit to grab some cilantro and scallions. This restaurant also has a simple sake selection. I recommend the basic hot sake, especially when it is raining outside. Ultimately, this restaurant is always a delight to visit. I enjoy being able to order what I want, have it served fresh, and cook it the way I want. One need not worry about operating the tabletop stoves (which are as inconspicuous as they can be) because the waitstaff does that for you. Little Sheep Mongolian Hotpot is a wonderful spot for intimate get togethers.

G
Grace Liu

All you can eat for meat lovers! Both beef and pork are amazing, must order!! The quality is so good. Lamb is too lean but still tasty. You need to pay extra for tofu or other vegetables, but still a great deal for meat lovers! And the broth is savory enough and sauce is actually not recommended.

One of my favorite hotpot spots in Flushing 🔥🍲 @happylambhotpot truly hits the spot every time! They serve an 8-hour slow-cooked bone marrow broth that's rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. It’s all-you-can-eat hotpot with a premium selection of lamb, Wagyu, seafood, and more — all freshly sliced in-house. With over 100 locations in 11 countries, Happylamb is a global favorite, and the Flushing location is a gem. They even sell their take-home soup kits on Amazon so you can recreate the experience at home! ✨ Unbeatable price, huge variety, and top-notch quality — easily the best AYCE hotpot in Flushing. You’ll love it here as much as I do!

S
Samantha

Went here for the first time for my mom’s birthday! Honestly, quality and variety of ingredients is the best we have had in the city. There isn’t a tablet ordering system so I was worried that the servers wouldn’t be able to remember their orders but they never forgot anything, very impressed! If I could recommend something, I have been to hot pot places that offer soy milk as a beverage option which is SO good. All the beverage options that aren’t water is soda and as someone who doesn’t like carbonated drinks I would love a non-carbonated one! I found myself missing soy milk. 😂 Will definitely recommend this place and come back!

It is the best AYCE hotpot in Flushing! From the meat (angus quality) and its buffet choices of unlimited shrimp, calamari, fish, clams, vegetables etc all of them are fresh. Including free flow sodas. Undoubtedly reasonable price per person for all you can eat. One thing I like the most this place uses chicken broth. Fine service, waitresses always look out for customers and give great services though the restaurant busy. They have 3 packages All You Can Eat: Value, House Special & Premium. I always pick House Special AYCE, best deal! For weekdays lunch $24.95, dinner $26.95 and weekends $28.95. Has a very clean family restroom and designated parking space a block away. It’s my family only AYCE hotpot to go in Flushing!

C

I came here twice already and the foods were absolutely delicious! Waiters were patient and there were a decent amount of food options. Different beverages, desserts, and sauces! I highly recommend this place and it's a great deal!

Four star Because the spicy soup base is not spicy at all. The beef slice and lamb slice are amazing, They are so thin. If you don't waste food at the end, They will charge you few dollars less per person. All other foods are fine. The pot If you don't set to 15+ or 20max, it is very difficult to have your soup boil. I like their restaurant setup. It looks neat.

AYCE Hot Pot for $24.95 😋 Happy Lamb Hot Pot is a Mongolian hot pot spot in Flushing that serves delicious broths, meats, seafood, vegetables, sauces & other options to choose from! Their AYCE lunch special from 12pm-3pm is $24.95! This deal includes: Choice of any broth Unlimited hot pot meat Unlimited buffet access Unlimited sauce & cold bar Unlimited Soda Refills I’ve been wanting to try hot pot for the longest time but I just never get around to it but I finally did! This was a steal deal & such a great experience! The best of both worlds broth was the best! Loved the house special meat selection! You can upgrade to Premium VIP meat selection for a few more bucks! Spacious & clean atmosphere & the service is attentive! Great mix of quality & affordability.

I came twice before the renovation and once more after. After the renovation, the system has changed, but it is still great! The servers are all polite, patient, and helpful. My friend and I did not know that we were supposed to inform the servers of our coupon ahead of time, but they still helped us cashed it in. Even when the place is crowded, they routinely come by to refill the hotpot. The buffet have a self-service table where you can get seafood, pasta, vegetables, and other side dishes. The meat were filling and tasty. The only thing you need to watch out is the timing. While they do not specify a time limit, you generally have between 2-2.5 hours as a time limit. Other AYCE places may extend to 3 hours, but here is slightly shorter. Still highly recommend as the foods and services were all great!

Having only a few hot pot experiences from my home of MN, I didn’t expect all that much; but I ended up being blown away. Not only was the pricing more fair (2 ppl all you can eat up to like 56-60$ which is a little cheaper than MN where it’s 60-70$). The selection of ingredients here was also superb, having far more variety than I was used to. Good quality meat as well. Good experience, although I do miss myself some skewers like the hot pot locations in MN had.

Happy Lamb Hot Pot is a fantastic dining experience! The food is delicious, with a wide selection of fresh ingredients that cater to all tastes. The service is excellent—friendly staff who are attentive and helpful. What really impressed me was the reasonable pricing. You get all-you-can-eat options at a great value, making it perfect for anyone looking to indulge without overspending. Overall, I highly recommend Happy Lamb Hot Pot for a satisfying meal!

We did the VIP experience because it was our first time there but next time we will go with the standard because the quality of their buffet items were fantastic! Been to many hot pots before but this is definitely my new favorite for a great mix of quality & affordability. Glad everyone else has given such detailed reviews! Also drinks were as cheap as you can get in this city.

First hotpot experience - very pleased. The food was better than I expected. Get the fatty beef and the prime rib. Also got the udon and fresh noodles. Got the pot half and half and the spicy soup is really spicy so be careful. The service was great and attentive. Atmosphere is very nice.

1st time here and I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere and the food is such a delight and great time for a date. The soup is always hot and filled with flavors. The meat is finley sliced for the perfect meat-veggie combination. I would definitely come back again 🍜🍜🍜🍲🍲🍲 place is clean and modern

It's nice that there's a separate booth for each party. There's ample selection of meat and others even without the premium. But the premium included some good meat. I don't recommend the shrimp though. They don't taste that fresh. As for the noodles, they got a good selection of instant ramen noodles and the usual vermicelli, glass noodle, the small noodle wraps, etc. The vegetables also include pea shoots, bok choy, yu choy, bean sprouts. Good amount of mushroom. The sauces are amazing. They're not oily like most hot pot places. I love this place for their sauces. As for the soup, it's mild but yummy, not herbal tasting at all. The service is quick and on point. The waitstaff are very efficient and willing to help. The ambience is great but I don't recommend kids younger than 6 years old to be in here. The booths are a bit cramped.

Best AYCE Hotpot spot. There are three tiers, Value, House and Premium. You select the tier you want, depending on what type of meat. Everything is straightforward. The sauce station, standard. There are also snacks, fruits, cakes, and hot food station. No b.s. soup base fee. This place gets busy as it gets later on the weekends.

Highly recommend this AYCE spot! It is definitely worth every penny. There is a large selection of seafood, meats, and vegetables, and the food is quite fresh. The service is very good, and the staff is quick to clear empty plates from the table. The price point is also very reasonable compared to other AYCE options in Flushing, especially with unlimited meat and seafood.

This is our favorite spot ever! I think we go once a month. Everything is so fresh from the meat to the sauces and to the incredible vegetables. They have such a variety of choices and everything in the buffet is prepped well and high quality. I highly recommend doing their premium option so you can order wagyu. You’re the best happy lamb!

Very good value all-you-can-eat hotpot for Flushing! The meat was tasty and fresh, and the buffet portion had lots of fresh veggies and other things to add to your hotpot. The AYCE house special (lowest tier that includes meats) was $29.99 on the weekends, and included soda. The interior was modern and seemed relatively clean, but it’s a bit dark.

Was in Flushing and craving lamb, so had to swing by Happy Lamb for some hot pot. They have great AYCE options for diners, offering all kinds of meats, veg, seafood and other sides. The broth options are limited compared to some places, but both we got were incredibly tasty and fragrent. The meat was delicious, and the veggies were fresh and clean. They have ice cream, but you have to ask (we didn't realize), so be sure to leave room! Overall, great atmosphere and dining experience - will definitely be back!

Stopped in for a quick lunch at this all-you-can-eat hot pot place. The meat was tasty—nothing fancy, but solid for the price. The sauce station had a good variety, and there were plenty of vegetables to choose from. Servers were fast and friendly, which made the experience even better. Great value overall.

I’ve had this for many years, tried it in different places, and the broth hasn’t changed much. There’s nothing really special about it, but it’s a solid option when you feel like having a big meal. They have lots of small dishes and even some desserts. It’s always been reliable, not the best choice, but something you can count on when you don’t know what to eat.

Jin

Flushing may have more hot pot restaurants per square foot than any other city. Happy Lamb is a safe and solid choice. Their 3 menu options are reasonably priced when compared to the other hyped AYCE Wagyu hot pot places in the area. We opted for the “VIP” menu ($36.95) which includes a good variety of meats, although the “House Special” menu ($24.95) would do just fine. The buffet section has all of the basics you would expect as well as a few uncommon choices. Service was friendly and efficient.

Jia Wang
Jia Wang

They offer 3 tiers of hotpot: value, house special, premium vip (see image for pricing and more details). They have a good selection of sodas and their own in-house beverages, I strongly recommend the taro milk tea and the honeydew milk tea. They offer a vast and very fresh selection of appetizers, vegetables, noodles, seafoods, and proteins. Items were restocked quickly and frequently during our peak dinner time visit. Staff were prompt to bring the beef whenever we ordered and were on top of refilling our soup. Great experience all around.

A fine hotpot restaurant, lamb and beef are good

Note: Little Sheep is known for their original broth. Their Manhattan location pales in comparison to their Flushing location (this one). For heavy sauce lovers, Little Sheep carries a very limited selection of sauces because they recommend their hotpot with minimum sauce. Little Sheep is a global hotpot chain and there is a reason why it's so successful. Their original broth is one of the best I've tasted in NYC; so flavorful that you can taste the herbs. The spicy broth is a bit on the bland side and it's basically the original broth with added peppers. I suggest an order of Supreme Angus Beef (picture attached) because it's delicious and melts in your mouth. For $40 you can each leave with a full stomach for two.

The food was absolutely delicious and at a reasonable price. Too much food for my family to finish. Came home with 2 quarts of leftovers. Will be going back. Favorite item on the menu was the lamb on a stick.

My first time hot-pot with lamb, pork-belly, enoki mushroom, Crab stick, quail eggs and so many other vegetables. Great food. Awosome spicy experience. Loved the place. People are very nice and warm. Must try.

Pretty good AYCE affordable option in Flushing. With tip included it’s about $38 per person for the house special option and we went on a weekend. Doesn’t come with ice cream like in the VIP tier unfortunately

R
Ray

We miss the all you can eat Little Lamb. The price/portion ration for Happy Lamb isn't too good. Each person need to spend close to $50 to get enough to eat. Flavor is okay, nothing stands out. Especially the spicy broth which was not spicy at all. Service was nice but for the price, they should offer some free deserts like ice cream or can fruits.

s
sabrina liew

I would say this is worth it! On weekends it’s 28.95 per person and it comes with all you can eat meat, soft drink, toppings. The quality of the meat is not high but it’s good. I got the prime beef one. They have A LOT of seafood options which i think was so worth it. They self serve soft drink fountains. The service was okay.

It was the first time I tried Chinese hotpot. It was satisfying :) I love the spicy pork bone soup. But it was getting harder to eat. The soup is a bit heavy. However, the vegetables and meat were so fresh. And I love eating Chinese glass noodle! The servers were very friendly and nice and willing to help. I want to visit this restaurant again.

m
mxlindA

The place is very nice and organized, and also a bit cramped. The food was self service besides the meat—which you can ask a server to get you some more if you get the AYCE deal. The service was also a bit rushed towards the end, servers check up on you and ask if you’re done then they rush you out because they have more people waiting to be seated.

L
Lina Lin

Love the interior space, well lit! Liked the concept of self serve for veggie and noodles. The meat wasn’t as fresh or high quality as other nearby hotpot spots though. Recommend the tomato base!

H
Helene

Great all you can eat hot pot restaurant. It was clean and the food stations were kept clean. Plenty of seafood and vegetable selections. I didn't touch the fried food or the desserts. They looked alright. The sauce section was somewhat limited but it was sufficient. The meat selection was sufficient and I really enjoyed the garlic marinated beef. It was super tender. All food item is self serve except for the meat. Service was good and workers were friendly. It did take a while for the pot to heat up so turn it way up. We went at 6pm so it was pretty empty.

I went to this place long time ago, and it was pretty good. I noticed that they are having a promotion, all you can eat from Mon through Thur. We tried but it’s pretty tricky. You need to add extra dollars to get unlimited glass noddles. The soup base is delicious but I felt thirsty after. The seafood platter is below average. Please avoid that. Not worth it.

got stuck in flushing for the night and found this gem in walking distance of our hotel with great reviews across the board. this place did not disappoint - the food was just so good!! service was also good but i’m taking off one star for their lack of explanation of the special and or menu. i went in with my dad only and we just thought it was the right thing to get the “all you can eat meat” special. wrong - this is only a good option with larger parties who are meat lovers. we could have gotten way more vegetables that we wanted and not wasted so much food if we had known. regardless, the food and soup/broth was delicious. i enjoy moderately spicy food but was still glad we chose the half and half option. i enjoyed the white broth as a soup and added the hot broth for flavor. definitely recommend.

I came here for dinner and did the AYCE dinner special deal that includes all the meat options for a super affordable price. There were plenty of vegetable options as well for those like me who aren’t big meat lovers. They also had a decent selection of appetizers and desserts. The staff were all attentive and came over to our table often to clear our empty plates.

Good hotpot location. Used to be called Little Sheep. Service was alright. Food is good. Plenty of food options to choose from. Not too many sauce variety. Price is reasonable. Plenty of seats. Bathroom available.

Good value Hot Pot. Inviting and friendly staff. Buffet area was small but had everything packed in. Also sauce area was small and limited, no ice cream machine either. They meat was delicious, also they offered fish filets in buffet area that were delicate and very fresh. Garlic beef was marinated well, and lean beef were our two favorites. I would dine again and try a different broth. All you can eat within 90 mins!!!

C
Cheveen

For me the food was a three star but the affordable price made it into a four. They have two options for AYCE at the reception desk, one is no meat for $25 and one with meat for $29. No meat is not that accurate of a description because it just excludes side ordering of cut slices but you can still grab frozen protein such as fish balls, shrimp, mini sausage links and clams. But that is precisely why I would’ve given this place a three star because of how many frozen food they carry. Besides that there are not that many options for veggies and carbs when compared to other hot pot spots in Flushing. Sauce station is limited as well. The soup base tasted packaged. Some of the cut meats were not fresh either, they have blackened rims (see picture). Overall, it’s an affordable alternative for me but not a place I would go to if I wanted really good hot pot.

The place is great! One down side was the soup was a little lacking in flavor so I depended a lot on the sauce bar to make everything taste even better. Love the buffet concept of the noodles, veggies, and meats. Servers were very nice and kept everything clean. Definitely coming back!

Steven Limeta

Food is really delicious, although service can be improved, especially during peak hours. Was waiting during peak dinner time for a table for 5, while a big table was empty for 20 mins. No complaints about the actually food itself! So much flavor in all the broths all around! Definitely content with the food.

i was surprised my friends and i were able to get a table at 6pm on a thursday, but we were and we were able to beat the rush! i did enjoy this hotpot experience, there was a good amt of meat selection and vegetable selection, the desserts were meh but overall the experience was good. they have tiers of menu where u get the ayce meat option for a little more than the option where u don’t get ayce meat, but i would say it’s worth it regardless

Food was amazing and great quality, however the service felt a little rushed. I understand they were quite busy but the waitress in the beginning who takes our order seemed reluctant, as if she didn’t want to attend us. The atmosphere itself was great and enjoyable with the family.

Andy Kang

Extremely busy, I went five minutes before they opened and there was already a short line in front of me. There are a few pricing points depending on if you want sliced meats or just the cheapest option with fish+seafood and hotpot classics. Two people on the cheapest option, after tax and tip, is about $60.

Kristina T.

If you looking for all you can eat. And basic meat. I recommend here. I always get the first 1 $21.99 for lunch and dinner $24.99. That is enough for me for vegetarian option. Spicy soup is the best

This is literally my go-to place for hotpot! My friends and I come here so often that we've honestly eaten so much we're almost sick of it, but we still keep coming back! I think it's incredibly affordable because even when four of us order all the meat and eat a ton of other stuff, if we split the bill, it only comes out to about forty-something dollars each. Also, it got surprisingly crowded later on, and there was even a line forming at the front desk. If you're planning to come, it's probably best to make a reservation!

Update 06/08/25 Still a great place. I got the VIP End of Update The food was good. The staff was friendly and attentive. The price was a bit high. I paid $39.14 with tax for the VIP selection. Soda was include which is unusual for an all you can eat. I got the combo hot pot. The spicy side was easy too much for me. If you like spicy, I'm sure you will enjoy this. I felt rushed with the 90 minute limit and afraid that if I did not like some food I was trying out, I would get charged the $35 fee. For this I had to take a star off. But, I will be back.

I tell others this is one of my favorite hotpot for taste and value. Many disagreement with me but whatever lol. The soups good, foods fresh, service not bad. Price decent. Interior seating is comfortable, mostly wood design. Id go again if in the mood for hotpot Edit: used to be my fave hotpot but its not anymore. The buffet brings down quality but you do get value if you can eat. They give you lean beef also which is nice. The soup flavor quality is ok. The sauce bar is garbage with limited options and watered down sauces. Watered down sauce tasted terrible. If you come near closing time the service will be rushed and not very good cus they are busy cleaning up entire restaurant.

It’s not too much options, the waitress keeps turning my pot off every-time she approached to our table without notifying us, she probably seeing the water boiling, but it was just that moment and all the other time our pot not boiling at all) we need to turn back on the stove like 8 times! “House special “ Angus beef was so dry! Ordered once and that’s it, marinated beef too salty! Rest of the foods mostly veggie but it’s not too fresh! Since my pot not boiling hot most of the time, it took us longer just to seat over there and waited, there’s only 1:30 hrs and your bills ready for YOU! Good bye and will not come back!

I decided not to do premium. The buffet was limited most of food was gone from hot food station they never replenished. I would never come back sadly. Meats were not that tasty I guess go for wagyu tier

Food was meh. Services was the worst. very petty and never even did anything. I’m never coming back. They tried to charge me $13 for 5 pieces of meat we left behind. In addition, they charge tips on tax??? The 18% tip suggestion is in the grand total essentially makes you pay tips on tax. Be smart and don’t go here.

I’m a die-hard black beef tripe fan, I have been here multiple times. This place has it on their premium menu. The first few dishes were fine, but then this came out — and I don’t even want to know what happened to this poor tripe. Plus, the dessert on the premium menu is bioengineered ice cream. :) If you care about food quality and your health, I’d recommend going somewhere else.

I have eaten here before at this establishment plenty of times which the food is good but your service needs to be better… tonight you guys lost me.. I called you guys several times over and you guys either hang up or purposely put your phone on busy so my calls don’t even go through. Go to other hot pot places, there are plenty in New York City.

COCKROACH IN FOOD! ——— Rarely write reviews until it’s actually needed. My family and I went to celebrate my graduation to this place. However in the middle of the dinner we saw a COCKROACH in the broth with food! I was ready to throw up because of how disgusting it was. We called a waiter, he asked us to take it out on a different plate and brought it to either manager or another waiter. That person came to us and asked if we want to switch the broth - absolutely not! How do we know it wasn’t in the broth originally?! We refused to pay for the dinner, only paid for the bottle of soju which we were sure doesn’t have any insects in it as it was unopened when they brought it. They were fine with this and only said “sorry for that”. Everyone ended up having food poisoning and diarrhea after - not the best way to celebrate a big day… It was not the first time we visited that place, but definitely the last!

a
angel unless (Call me Brook)

Many of the self-service areas were empty, and the food service was very slow! During the 90-minute dining time, you rarely see a waiter, and after the meal, you have to pay not only the meal cost but also a hefty tip, even though I received almost no service.

S
Sophia Solivio

Came here for lunch yesterday (Sunday). The price is ok for the non vip selection - about $31 per person, which is cheap for New York City all you can eat. However, I had very, very terrible food poisoning after, which has persisted until the following morning.

While the food was fine, the service was terrible. From the moment we walked in, the staff was rude and repeated the rules multiple times in a rude way. Servers were very blunt throughout the entire dining experience and rarely came by. At the end, the waiter didn’t even ask if we’re ready for the bill but just dropped the bill at the table. We decided to pay a small tip since we found the service to be lacking, but the waiters returned to hand us back the bill and requested that we pay at least 18% tip. They hovered around us until we gave them the money. As I was putting on my coat getting ready to leave, the waiters also began to pick up my belongings and handed them to me which felt forceful and I found to be disrespectful. Don’t go here unless you’d like to be disrespected.

n

this might have been the worst service i've ever experienced in my life. we were met with extremely cold and rude attitude where the rules were repeated more than 3 times. when leaving, they (3 employees) surrounded us and brought back the check after payment and wouldn't let us leave without also tipping. they entered the booth while we were still seated and trying to put on our jackets to clean. i was reaching for my drink and the waiter took it and dumped it into the soup...? i'll never be back and i've had the best experiences in othet hotpot locations. if you respect yourself don't go here. editing to add: this was on february 7th at approximately 7:32pm that we were walked to our booth.

Save your money and don’t come here at all. I’ve seen cheaper hot pot places that have better quality and variety of ingredients than this. The broths have no flavor whatsoever. I mean isn’t that the basics of hot pot? The broth? I love mala that’s why I wanted to come to an authentic place but it just taste like spicy oil with a whiff of mala. Never coming back here ever again.

I’ve been coming to Happy Lamb for 5 years and always loved it. Even though it’s all-you-can-eat and you basically do most of the work yourself, my partner and I always tip 20% no matter what. We usually get the premium option too, even though it’s honestly kind of overpriced, because we genuinely enjoyed coming here. Last week, though, I had a really upsetting experience. I went to grab a bowl to serve myself some rice, which is something we’ve done every single time we’ve come over the past 5 years. A woman who turned out to be a server started yelling at me for touching the bowls. Not politely correcting me - actually yelling. The first time, I let it go. The second time, she yelled again. The third time, she came around and yelled at me yet again. I didn’t want to cause a scene, so I stayed quiet. Later, when I was calmly explaining the situation to my partner at our table, she came over and started yelling again. That’s when my partner finally told her to let it go because she was making it worse. It was completely unnecessary and extremely unprofessional. After I started bawling my eyes out, she later came over to say sorry - but at that point, it honestly felt too late. If I hadn’t broken down, would she have just continued yelling? It didn’t feel like a genuine apology; it felt like damage control. What makes this even more disappointing is that I had received some bad news earlier that morning. My partner brought me there because hotpot has always been a comfort place for us. Instead of leaving feeling better, I left crying and completely overwhelmed. After 5 years of loyalty, this experience was enough for us to decide we’re never going back. It’s really sad that such rude and aggressive behavior cost them long-time customers. You never know what your customers might be going through, the least you can do is not yell at people who come to eat at your establishment.

Extremely disappointed. I expected better quality. The seafood is not fresh, the place is a bit dirty. It's as though they used the lowest quality or food the supermarket is about to throw out because it wont sell and put it into this place. Sauce is right out of the can. Soup is watered down. Lack of quality dessert. For what they are charging, I expect better. Spring Shabu is way better. Never again.
