Best dim sum I have ever had. I have tried a lot of other different places and none of them compare to this one. Is so authentic and the food taste amazing.
Had a late lunch, the food was excellent and fresh. Will definitely go back.
DELICIOUSNESSSSSSSSSSS!! Great service, great food and great COVID etiquette. We placed a large order during peak hours and not only did they get the entire order correct, they provided extra sauce. The order was so large, they put everything in a large box and even carried it to our car. He wore a mask and kept a safe distance and placed the box in our trunk. We tried tipping the guy, but he simply waved and told us to have a great weekend. What an awesome experience. Now, onto the food. I can't even explain how good the food is here. I should've stopped at my third custard, but went ahead and ate an extra three. Don't know what any of the dishes are called in English, but just order away. I've not had anything here that did not taste great! Definitely going to dine here again.
A typical large Chinese restaurant fit for building large traditional Chinese banquets - Easily seat over 100 with table cloth service, excellent seafood (lobster was definitely fresh and excellently prepared so that I didn't have to fight hard to get at the meat) and generous portions. Would gladly revisit.
Really good dimsum. They have a crispy shrimp rice roll dish and it’s super yummy. Everything is fresh.
Good restaurant off of Main St. Nice menu selection and a good atmosphere for dinner with friends.
My mom, auntie, my dad and I have been to this place and have food there and that the food was wonderful and delicious that all of us ate beef stripe, broccoli, and many other things. The service was wonderful, and the atmosphere was that there were lots of people eating, talking, pushing carts and others.
Loved this place, it was the first time coming here and I will def come again. The waiter talked very fast but I was able to get through to what I wanted. The General Tsao chocked was to die for!! Not like the gross dough filled ones that aren't authentic in take outs. The sizzling beef was sooooo good! A must try when you go there. It's not on the menu so you have to ask them to make it and they will accommodate it which was a nice touch to this restaurant. Very very clean as well the waiters kept constantly spraying their hands and outfits with alcohol and they implemented the 6 ft distance very well. Great place 👌☺️
Best Dim Sum! The dishes are amazing and the environment is great. Come early to avoid long lines! Come with baggy pants and eat to your hearts desire! Don’t speak Mandarin? It’s okay, they have carts you can point to! Let your inner dim sum compass point you to the right dishes!
Thsi place serves very good dim sum. Love the grand Chinese New year decoration in this place it brings me back to China. Big tables which are good for family or big group gatherings. Loved the food too it has wok hei taste or charred taste for stir fry which is good for Chinese cooking. The beef dish in the photo was my favourite can't remember the dish name but reminds me of sweet and sour in borneo. The hot and sour soup was good too! Typical Hong-Kong style service, though not much patience when they can't converse so much in English only some of the staff can speak well in English. Good tip is to point on the menu as they have it in English and Chinese wordings together so you know you're ordering the correct dish. Would definitely want to go back for dim sum but note that it ends at 3pm!!
Authentic Chinese dim sum. Carts roll around and you tell the staff which you would like. Dumplings are a must, as are the sesame buns. Parking is crazy but they do have valet around the back. Get there as early as possible so you minimize your wait in line. Average prices and lots of selections.
Love how quick and friendly the service is. Went here today because of our dim sum craving and got a variety of dishes. Prior to arrive, they do take your temperature and point to where you sit. There is a combination of people pushing out food on carts and filling out a sheet of what you want on the menu. Personal favorite dishes: the rice roll with shrimp and fried vermicelli noodle bits, and the baked pineapple bun (which had a creamy filling inside, and still warm) Note: the menu may be in English but the order sheet is in full Chinese so I suggest using the google translate app or bring a Chinese friend with you
Nestled in the heart of the Flushing, this dim sum restaurant is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with the tantalizing aroma of freshly steamed dumplings and sizzling hot pots. The menu is a delightful journey through traditional and innovative dim sum offerings, each dish expertly crafted to perfection. The authenticity with all the ladies pushing the carts of dimsum. The chefs showcase their culinary mastery with every bite, delivering a symphony of flavors that dance on your taste buds. The delicate shrimp dumplings and siu mai are a must-try, bursting with freshness and succulent seafood goodness. Pair them with the fluffy char siu bao, filled with sweet and savory barbecue pork that melts in your mouth. Not only is the food exceptional, but the ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a casual lunch with friends or a cozy dinner date. The staff is attentive and friendly, ensuring that your dining experience is nothing short of extraordinary. I came here for breakfast with some friends and loved it. Overall, this dim sum restaurant is a true treasure for food lovers. Prepare to be amazed by the exquisite flavors, impeccable service, and charming atmosphere. A culinary journey like no other awaits you here.
BS +++ Hungry for dim sum? Want something quick and cheap? This place has evolved and has survived the pandemic and the 90's. This is a staple dim sum / authentic Chinese spot for decades. The staff is the same (especially bald head manager LOL Love him). The managers here remind of Kung Fu movie characters. The ladies serving the food are always great and I noticed some are really trying their best to learn English. The prices before the pandemic was around $3-$6 now it's still close to the same. Be kind and tip the team and pay in cash. Everyone is struggling. We always come here for the beef ball, congee, taro puff, chicken feet, and turnip cake. Since I am not 100% vegan I had to ask them to make me a special meal. So they tried to accomodate. It's hard being vegan in a Chinese restaurant. But they really took care of us. The tea is bottomless. So keep drinking. The restrooms are clean so no worries. Highly recommended to all foodies! Boomsauce Scale: BW - basura (trash) BS - basic (come on! Try harder) BS + - better (Yo! That's better) BS ++ - best (alright! Alright! Alrightttt!) BS +++ - Amazing location! now that's boomsauce!
Typical push cart dim sum restaurant. Food is excellent with great buns. Try it all. They do a good rice roll variety.
The best go-to pick-your-own hot pot (dry or soup!) in Flushing. The greatest part is the build your own healthy meal by choosing your favorite veggies, proteins, and carb, perfect for when you want something comforting and customizable.😍
My friends and I come here often for birthday dinners, and always reserve one of the large private rooms. We always order the live king crab that they make in 3 different dishes - deep fried with garlic, fried rice and over flat noodles. My friends usually (over) order lol and everything is great, and there's always enough for leftovers the next day!
The dimsum is always fresh and flavorful. Try the sesame mochi, fried dough rice noodles. They are very unique than other places. Extremely quick and nice staff. Always a wait because high demand in this area!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Over 10 Years of Consistently Great Food I’ve been eating at Golden Lake Pavilion since their old location, and after 10+ years, they’re still my go-to spot in Queens. The dim sum is always fresh and dependable, with all the classics done right. Their dinner dishes never miss, and the freshly roasted meats — char siu, duck, and chicken — are some of the best you’ll find anywhere. Whether dining in or getting takeout, the quality is consistently high. After a decade of meals here, I can honestly say Golden Lake Pavilion continues to deliver the same great Cantonese flavors that keep me coming back. Highly recommended.
If you want the gold standard for Cantonese dim sum in NYC, Lake Pavilion delivers. We came on a busy weekend late morning and the operation was a well-oiled machine—host stand moved quickly, tea hit the table immediately, and carts rolled by nonstop with all the classics done right. Har gow were glassy and snappy, siu mai juicy, rice rolls silky with big, sweet shrimp, and the baked pineapple pork buns were fluffy with that perfect crackly top. Specials were equally strong—the roast duck had crisp skin and tender meat, and the steamed spareribs were super flavorful without being greasy. Service was on point the whole meal: plates swapped, tea refilled, questions answered, and everything arrived hot. Big round tables make it easy for groups and family gatherings, and the room has that lively banquet-hall buzz that makes dim sum fun. Pro tip: arrive before 11 to minimize the wait. Bottom line—excellent food, fast and friendly service, and great value for the quality. Instant favorite.
The best dim sum in Flushing, Queens! I’ve been here many times, and the food is consistently delicious every single visit. Everyone I bring falls in love with it too. We always order a lot, and somehow, we finish everything—it’s just that good. The must-try dish here is the rice noodle rolls with crispy shrimp. The texture and flavor are absolutely perfect—the crispiness of the wrapper, the rich sauce—it’s something I’ve never found at any other dim sum place. Highly recommended! Other standouts include the siu mai, har gow, and especially the deep-fried pineapple and BBQ pork bun. The bun is thin and crispy on the outside, while the filling is perfectly sweet, fragrant, and juicy. It’s a must-order! The restaurant is only open in the mornings, and I recommend coming around 10 AM. If you arrive earlier, some items may not be ready yet. Overall, this place is a gem. I always come with my family, and it never disappoints. 🫶🏻
Coming from an avid dim sum goer I am obsessed with this place. They always have the best dim sum so fresh. I love that they roll around the carts not many places do this anymore. We’re here for every event and occasion in our family. i’ve included pictures from the last couple of months.
Hubby decided unbeknownst to us to pick up dim sum today! \n\nHe said because we seemed to like it so much. \n\nSo this is takeout - yummy!
Best dim sum place ever. It was $150.40 for all of this. We are a very full party of 5 people. Even my bestie that hates seafood ended up loving all the dishes including the seafood ones. I was t…

Awesome dim sum place featured on Bon appetit's Eat everything on the menu segment. My favourites are the buns and anything with shrimp

Food so tasty. Great dim sum spot, classic vibe and easy parking. Would highly recommend it here

Enjoyed the dimsum here for lunch. Pleased to see the trolley dimsum here. I will return again when I am back in Queens, USA.
Love the fact that I can return having dim sum again inside tables! Feels somewhat normal except that there's no dining plates, silverware or regular tea cups/water glasses. Chinese food is not mea…
The dim sum here is pretty good compared to the rest of the area. I recommend getting the shrimp rice roll. They fry the shrimp in a tempura type batter, which adds a crunch to the usual mushy texture. All the food here is good but don't get the soup dumplings. They come in small tins that attach to the skin of the dumpling, causing them to rip. The restaurant is also a lot cleaner than most dim sum restaurants in the area.
Food was good and price was good. I would have given 5 stars if the staff had given us our plain white rice at least five minutes after we requested it. Forgot, they are the only restaurant on Main Street that has parking outside the restaurant. However, it is a small parking spot but there is plenty of parking around the corner.
The place has gotten brighter with removing the panel's that was separating the place! It look so much better. Food also gotten better and they are huge! Not as salty and flavorful without the msg taste. The pan fried chive with shrimp dumplings were tasty and huge but pricey... $11.50 for 6... Which is almost $2/ dumpling! The beef rice roll is standard... Meaty and the rice roll is silky! The steamed fish ball was soft and flavorful! The bad part was the boiled Choi(veggie) was so rare... It was hard to chew! Service is standard Chinese service... No smile, "what do you want" attitude...
Great Dim Sum place with authentic old school Chinese dishes. Pretty delicious. This place is made for very very big parties, fast delivery of food. Very tasty dishes though some can be very simple. This is place is not intimate or cozy and has its own feel really. It also isn't the cleanest and often many dishes are chipped. But really all this place cares about is doing delicious food for the most amount of people which accomplishes it job wonderfully.
First time dine in for dim sum since COVID. I miss dim sum carts. Unfortunately they don’t have carts anymore. Order your food from dim sum sheet, and the waiters bring you all the food all at once. I believe the advantage of dim sum cart is you don’t need to get all the food and some of them are getting cold while you are eating. Anyway, the food was good, except the congee. Not crowded. No wait on a Sat morning/lunch hour. One funny note is they give you tiny cups for tea. Seriously I felt like I was in a clinic for xxx test. 😝LOL. Weird to pour tea into the tiny cup … need to refill all the time 😳
New Lake Pavilion is one of my auntie’s favorite dim sum place in Flushing. The decor here is super exaggerated and it is also a perfect place for Chinese holding their wedding ceremony. They served dim sum every day before 3pm and Cantonese cuisines all day. They had a wide variety of dim sum served by cart and most of their dim sum were delicious and authentic. Our favorites were steamed spare ribs and salted egg custard buns. The ribs were well cooked, chewy and tasty flavored with braised taro. The salted egg custard buns were a must try and super addictive. Their service was also authentic - super rude and reluctant but kind. They have their parking lot but it was always crowded and impossible to find a place.
This is my family’s favorite dim sum place. We have been coming here since it first opened. The food is delicious and satisfies our craving for dim sum. The staff are always on top of their game and willing to go above and beyond their call of duty. I always feel welcomed here. I also like how this place is a little further up and not in downtown Flushing. Although they have a valet parking lot, it is not that hard to found parking on the street.
Lake Pavillion is a very busy Dim Sum spot. They do have valet parking in a small lot. There is also metered street parking. Cash and credit is accepted. The flavors and quality of the foods was very good. The service was very accommodating. Definitely would come back to try more. 12/2021
Decent Cantonese dim sum, a lot of variety. Some are exclusive to this restaurant only. Prices are average compare to similar restaurant. They have 2 main entrances, one by the corner and one through the parking lot. The building has a separate entity for take out ordering. Come early, they usually have long wait and the parking lot gets so full that it can take 10+ min to retrieve your car, like playing Sokoban in the parking lot. Limited street parking, most residents have driveways.
Went back for the first today time since they reopened. The restaurant looks great. Everything looks clean and fresh. They also added an exit in the back of the restaurant, which is good. Surprisingly busy for a Monday dim sum. The service was pretty good. And the food wasn't bad. They don't have as many options as they do on a weekend dim sum but that's too be expected.
Comparable to the dimsum of Asian Jewels (also in Flushing but walkable from the 7 subway unlike here where you have to transfer to the Q44) but slightly better since every dimsum was hot (Asian Jewels served some dimsum in slightly less than room temp). The best was the shrimp hofan. I would not order the tripe again though since it was too tough. I would’ve added a star if the service had been more attentive. But overall it’s a nice place to enjoy quality dimsum on a lazy Sunday. After brunch you can do some Asian supermarket shopping in Yong Fa beside them.
Dined here several times and the food is great 👍 👍. A bit pricey but good quality. Our cycling group of 9 dined here and we brought our own wine to inebriate. BYOB. The venue also has nice wine selection. The VIP private room was spacious & comfortable. The highlight here was the KING CRAB 🦀 (15 lbs, about a grand $$). If you’re looking to celebrate 🎉, you got to go BIG. Every dish was delicious and we cleaned out everything that was served. A unanimous vote that the food was worth it. The venue can use some new upgrades and the bathroom NEEDS MORE CLEANUP! This is why it did NOT receive 5 stars ⭐️ as an establishment worthy of charging $1,500 for dinner. 😅😅 Noon dim sum is also spectacular.
One of my favorite dim sum spots! It opens super early unlike other places. It opens at 8am and has parking in the back. I usually get the chrysanthemum tea as my tea. They just opened and i was the only table so everything was fresh and delicious. The ladies were super cheerful and helpful. I get the chicken feet, shrimp rolled noodle, fried shrimp roll, pork bread. Definitely recommend!
I dare say the dinner here is better than the dim sum. I've been coming here for years but not in awhile since Covid. Attended a wedding banquet and the food was really good. Service was hit or miss and I'm not talking about them being too busy to not be attentive. Just some workers were better at addressing the customers. Seafood dishes really shine here. And the lamb chops are very tender. It's a must try!
My favorite dim sum spot in Queens....Come here hungry or don't come at all. If you come on a Sunday come early.

We had a funeral banquet in honor of my father in-law . 16 courses approximately 40 people . The food was delicious but the service was rushed . All felt forced at us, three at a time then spooned onto our plates if not completed quick enough. the entire "banquet" took 1 to 1.5 hours . The room looked like it was storage for extra tables and chairs
Very large dim sum restaurant that gets pretty crowded on the weekends. There's a parking lot, but it gets packed cause this is the place to be. Service by the cart ladies is okay, but not great. It takes them a while to circle back to you so you might end up just going to go look for them. Bathrooms are clean and large to accommodate peak times. Good dim sum, but nothing makes the food stand out from other similar restaurants.
The food was good. We enjoyed the dimsum plates that were offered on the carts. The variety seemed to be limited compared to Asian Jewels, but we will come back. But, the valet parking was ridiculous. First, I self parked my car. Then when we wanted to leave, the valet guy wanted $3, which we gave to him. I thought that he was going to get the car for us; but he just gave the key to me. In short, I did all the parking; the valet guy earned $3 for the work I did.
Dim sum wasn’t that great. The place is definitely overhyped by many food reviewers on IG, If you seat in the middle you don’t get all the cars that come around. other places are definitely better.. I usually tip base on service after I pay for my meals. The bill was $60, I got my change back. The lady told me that doesn’t include the tip in a very rude tone.
Easy to see right off of the corner of Main Street and the Horace Harding Expressway. Typical New York style Dim Sum. Big restaurant with additional rooms. Food is good. Typical Dim Sum staff, fast and loud. Long lines but moves relatively fast. Moderately clean facilities. Public Restrooms. Reasonably priced. Credit cards accepted. We will definitely be going back.
The dimsum is alright, nothing superb. Chili oil wasn’t legit and there was no hot sauce/mustard combo served if you don’t request it. Service was great and quick. Price is reasonable. Doesn’t accept Amex. Has its own parking lot but you have to pay mandatory valet fees and the valet service was really bad and unfriendly. Otherwise it would’ve been 4 stars.
First off, their chinaware is pretty legit. Nice stuff. The food is decent, normal. Nothing to write home about. Seasonings off, either salty or not salty enough. But man they have some rude waiters. Good God, most waiters in Chinatown are pretty relaxed but this guy demanded my grandmother give her chopsticks up before we were done. Otherwise the atmosphere and the food, it's okay.
The food is hit or miss here so it's difficult for me to review. On good days, the dim sum is good and they have a big selection unlike many other places. I like unique dishes like the purple yam buns and they often make the traditional dishes (spare ribs, Phoenix/chicken feet, tripe) well. But sometimes the dim sum dishes could use a little longer braising time, so it's hard to tell. Dinner dishes can be hit or miss as well but are decent for the most part.
One of the OG Dim Sum places in queens. This place gets crowded on weekends. If you have a large party, be prepared to wait. Great variety of foods on display in the dim sum carts, but quality seems to have gone down in the last few years. If you have a small party, offer to share a table to lessen the wait.
This is olde school dim sum which is reminiscent of what we eat decades ago, the space looks like a time warp and feels a little dated, the staff, uniforms and decor are from another era. The good to dishes lack flavor and need more salt and sauces. Portions are generous, but need a little more care and attention.
Came for dim sum with my family on a Saturday at around 10:30 in the morning to try and beat the rush. I've been here a few times before for dim sum and birthday dinners but it was years ago. They have street metered parking (not much) or valet parking. The lot looked pretty crowded already but the restaurant still had seats. We had the classic dim sum staples (shrimp/beef churng fun, ha gow, shumai, pork ribs, chicken feet, taro puffs, sticky rice, tripe, meatballs, and fish balls). They were all pretty standard except the pork ribs, which had leftover pork taste so you're better off skipping that one. We also ordered beef chow fun and young chow fried rice. The chow fun was good, but I always love a chow fun. We were seated on the platform area, so it was easy to be overlooked (i.e. in getting dim sum, flagging a waiter for water, the bill, etc.). Overall, it was your typical dim sum/Chinese restaurant experience - being ignored by waiters, and dishes that are hit or miss. But it definitely beats going into the heart of Flushing and having to fight for a spot (both parking and a table) there. Tip - there's a weekday special where you can get medium and large dim sum plates for the price of a small plate.

Huge portions of fresh but uninspiring food. I would go as much as to call it bland. Went on a Wednesday night and there was no dim sum. Not being Chinese was definitely an issue with communication. (we received a dish that we did not think it was the one we ordered)
We were excited to try this spot as our first dim sum experience, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations. From the moment we walked in, a patron stepped outside to blow their nose without a tissue, which honestly set an uncomfortable tone right away. The service throughout the meal felt lackluster, and while some dishes were good, others were bland, so the food experience was pretty mixed overall. We still tried to enjoy ourselves and make the best of it, but the ending really left a bad impression. After paying our bill, we stepped outside to catch our Uber and the hostess ran after us asking about a tip. I had already added a small tip, but was then told “15%,” which felt awkward and pressured, especially since we were literally outside trying to leave. I ended up adjusting the tip and signing again while standing outside. We understand tipping is appreciated, but it should feel discretionary, not demanded. Sadly, this turned what could have been a decent first dim sum outing into a disappointing overall experience.
Food is ok, fried rice has a char taste but dry I like the siomai and some dumplings Atmosphere is bad and a lot of staff shouting or raising their voices in the background. Chaos everywhere, lucky the siomai was great. Overall, hit and miss, some dumplings are good some are decent, but terrible atmosphere

Food so bad 👎 ordered take out cause I didn't want to go out it's salty dry Dunesscrab? Had nothing to eat rice was hard and 80 bucks it was gross never ordering the nastiest food I ever tasted. Ruined my mood today ㅠㅠㅠ But My hub was he ate it all he said it wasn't worth 80 maybe worth 20 bucks 🤔 lol maybe other food is delicious but definitely not the crab ...
The food is so disgusting that it's the worst Chinese food in my 50 years of life. Can't believe someone can cook such awful taste of food and still exists. Please do not waste money for this place for dinner, don't say that I didn't warn you. My whole family and cousins with 6 adults all giving the worst review. Recently, my neighbor also said that she heard the same bad comments about this restaurant.
This is a typical dirty restaurant. I am so shocked at how people point out the food being tasteless over the grossness. Smells like dirty dishes. Worker habits are exacerbated by the high pace and probable poor training. Service workers talk over the dishes and stick their thumbs in the dishes when handing out the food. Multiple workers looked dirty and had smelly breath. My family experienced every painful stereotype involving filth. I’ll be surprised at any rating better than a C. My wife and kids joke about going out to eat here again. It is just nasty. A friend posted a picture that he went there, and I am still baffled by his obliviousness. I would have walked out if it wasn’t an invite to a friends’ gathering. I give warning to anyone who cares about cleanliness, etiquette, and manners. And I write this with no exaggeration. I had to write this even though I wish them the best. Maybe the management will take heed and hire a rescue before this place gets overrun by vermin and closed for good. That is what it feels like.
Crowded. We waited for an half hour and almost lost our table because you can't hear them call your number unless you stand in the very front and there were no room to stand. Food. Was gross and stale. I had a peak into their kitchen and it was disgusting. Saw a woman cut fresh fruit over a nasty cutting board with other food products. Service. We were in a small room, never checked in on us. We wanted utensils for the kids, water, and order off the menu. We had to ask the dim sum pushers to get someone. Finally came after 10 minutes. When we were leaving, we left a 13% tip sub-par service and food, and the cashier called the manager over. He didn't ask what happened or if I was dissatisfied, he asked for a higher tip! I was pressed into given 18%! Worse restaurant I have been to in a while.
The dim sum tasted pretty bad. The har gow skin all fell apart and stuck together, the black pepper beef rib tasted weird and everything else is mediocre at best. We literally sat down ordered a bunch of stuff, tasted the dim sum and left in less than 10 mins. That's how terrible it was.
The chicken with ginger sauce served was cold inside , we let the waiter know he just took our dish away without saying any words. Later on, the waiter bought back the reheated chicken. (Picture 1&2)The chicken tastes like rubber and heat up together with the piece I eat before !!!!!! (Picture 3) So unhygienic. 😰
This is the 2nd time I came here and the first time was to attend a birthday banquet. Place is rundown and not at all appealing The food wasn't bad but the service was horrible. I was told that my host booked a room that can accommodate 3 tables of 10 people per table so we can be seated comfortably. When we showed up, the restaurant made us sit in a room with 2 tables, and 14 guests per table. The food came all at once and before dessert was even served, the waiter shoved the bill to the host and began clearing the table with people still eating. As it was a birthday banquet, guests were taking pictures and the restaurant staffers yelled at us to stop, get out of the room as they were seating the next dining party. I was taken here again on Mid Autumn Festival (Sep 10) and this time the restaurant made me wait for one hour before being seated despite after we made a reservation with a credit card deposit of $200. We ordered off the menu (instead of having a more expensive customized menu) and the dishes were much smaller and the quality was actually quite mediocre. As it was Mid Autumn Festival, we added a live fish for steaming and that's when the fun began. The fish were taken from the tank, weighted, tagged with a table number and the price put on to our bill. The live fish cost $40/lbs, and at 2 lbs 4 oz and cost us $90. As the ordered food arrived and were literally thrown onto the table (as if we are dogs), we saw our fish being served to patrons that we think comes often (we saw the tag). We complained for 45 minutes and we were cursed at by the well trained staff, told to shut up and not to cause any trouble...And finally a tiny fish showed up (see picture). And they rapidly served dessert of sweet soup, low quality mooncakes, and cut fruit, and handed me the bill. THEY DEMANDED THAT WE PAID IN CASH. The bill was $750. When I put the minimum gratuity of 15% after what they have done, they chased after us and ask the valet not to give us our cars unless we pay a minimum of 25% gratuity. THIS RESTAURANT IS A FRAUD RUN BY THUGS, AND PROBABLY PATRONIZE BY SIMILAR TYPES.... There are much better restaurants with better food, decor, environment and SERVICE in Flushing (Grand,Congee Village, Golden Palace,Dong Yue and etc) STAY FAR, FAR, FAR AWAY....RUN!
before they changed the roast chef, the portion size and quality were good. the meat was properly prepared after the chef was changed, the quality clearly dropped. the roast chicken and duck were not cleaned properly and there were still feathers left on them. the portion size is also smaller here is the before and now reference
The restaurant needs to get their quality and service improved. We ordered the 3 meat entree and they would purposely give you the boniest meats and charge you more if you want a duck leg. They charge a lot as it is. They don't even give you sauce anymore with your meat orders. There lack of security in their parking lots is really bad also. Cars get damaged and random people approach your car wiping the windshield and demanding money. I wouldn't recommend this place. The quality is bad, service is bad and after notifying them about their parking security, they couldn't care less.
My friends and I went for a Christmas gathering. It was super awful experience ever. We ordered 4 dishes. We got only 2 out of the 4 dishes after a long wait of 1.5 hours. Awful experience. The manager gave different explanations but did not ever solve the issue. On top of that, the dishes was made out of rushing. The taste and texture was way off the standard. Would not go again.
Went here for dim sum. Got there around 1:30, seated at 1:40pm. I kid you not, there were only 3 dim sum carts for the entire restaurant. The food that was available, was cold and lukewarm at best. Decent Service was non existent. I had to repeatedly ask servers for hot tea. They kept forgetting. They kept saying more food would come out but nothing else came out. If you’re going to get dim sum in flushing, this is not the place. 0/5 stars
