This is my favorite pizzeria in the neighborhood. No other pizza spot in the nearby area can compare. It's got a nice layer of cheese, flavorful sauce and hearty crust. It's very filling but it's so good you will just keep eating until you feel like you are going to explode. When I order a pie I usually reserve at least three slices for myself and they are a decent sized slice as well. Delivery is usually around 45 minutes but on slower days they still provide an ETA for 45 minutes but can arrive as quick as 20 depending on when you call. The pepperoni is my favorite; yummy meaty and salty. If you prefer to dine in they have a quick dining area but also a fancier side for a nice dinner in the back.

I've ate at dozens of pizzeria/restaurants across Metro NY from Manhattan to Montauk and Valentino's is my favorite. It's a quick stop off the LIE going to and from Manhattan and that's a great convenience if you get hungry while en route. Parking is very easy too with the large parking lot behind or park up front with a meter. The staff and owners are great people. This is a great family run business and they take pride. Steve is an excellent cook, manager and front man. You will not be disappointed.

Valentinos Pizzeria is one of my favorites in the Fresh Meadows area. All of there dishes are made with quality and care! There pizza is amazing! and their black angus steak is seasoned and grilled to perfection!. Place is always busy! and the delivery are about 1 hour wait. But totally worth the wait!

Revisited Valentino's and am increasing my review to Five Stars. They are very courteous and professional...with the food being very fresh and delicious. They went out of their way to service me as they saw that I am disabled (use a cane for Rheumatoid Arthritis) . Top notch service. This is now go to Italian restaurant in Queens. Good work guys.

Valentino's is wonderful spot- we ate at sit down part of the restaurant-- it was clean and decorated tastefully. Staff pleasant and service fast. Prices reasonable- but the best part is the food- DELICIOUS! Recommend the appetizers as well as the pasta. Love the unique touch of the hand painted windows outside the restaurant too. Great bet for a good meal!

Their Pizza never fails, lots of cheese thick crust and very filling. Of course very tasty. They luckily have not yet shrunken the size of the slices like many other pizza shops in order to try to save money

I love Valentinos. One of the best pizzerias in the neighborhood. I prefer their regular/pepperoni pies. Maybe it's the sauce they use? Not sure. But I love it. I can kill 3-4 slices in one sitting. I love the addition they did years ago to open up the back to a nice finer dining type atmosphere. Really beautiful. And makes it larger than it seems from the outside.

Came here with the family of five we ordered a whole pie with big bottle of ginger came in 10 minutes with excellent service and quality water. 100% recommend!

It's wonderful to be able to visit NY City's renown pizza Shop again after dining closures during covid-19. The service, and food hasn't changed for decades now, which is something everyone can relive after a long absence from our childhoods. I was away from NYC for almost two years and brought my toddler to taste this great pizza I grew up relishing.

Valentino's has been here for decades they have great food and the staff, delivery guys are so nice. The only thing I wish they would correct the portion size on the amount of food they package to go. The Prices went up which is understood with the economic the food portion is unacceptable. Wow, wow, wow!!!! Was here on Saturday evening for a friend’s birthday party. We had a group of 20+ people. Our server, Alex was absolutely fantastic. Not only did he take care of our group, he also was taking care of the other customers that came in for dinner. He was very attentive and accommodating to all of our requests,(which were many) with a great attitude and a smile on his face. As for the food, I would go back just for the bread and the garlic knots, so good. Everything came out fresh and hot. I also ordered a chicken parmigiana to take home for my son, and even after sitting in the refrigerator for 5 hours until he got home from work, he said that his food was very good. I will definitely be back with my friends and family.

Food is consistently fresh and prepared with care. The Eggplant Pizza is a must-try because you simply will not find a better one anywhere. Vegetarian options abound with a range from typical to extravagant. The usual red and white is generous with sauce and cheese. For some reason the marinara is less sweet than at other places which can be a plus. Crust is crisp but chewable and there is a noticeably lower level of greasy runoff than at other places. Restaurant is spotless and feels well-maintained. Its well decorated and seating is always available. This is a busy place with a 'revolving door' of activity at the front and you'll never forget that you're in a pizza restaurant. Service speed is Average - expect to wait 45 minutes for your pie and around an hour for delivery. Mood has improved between 2021 and 2023 at the front counter and on the phone; this was a common complaint in the reviews and it shows management pays attention. Drivers have also improved and deliver outstanding service at the door and worth every bit of a generous tip. Top Choices: 1. Eggplant Pizza 2. Garlic Knots 3. Vegetable Pizza Expect to pay $35 - $45 to absolutely stuff a family of 4 with leftovers to spare. I want to remove a star due to the absence of marinara sauce from Garlic Knots a little too frequently, but, I cannot because the pizza is just that good.

Unfortunately after over 30 years going to this pizza store with my entire family we have to find a new pizza place. There is a new male slim staff member who is very unprofessional. I went there one day and waited to be greeted but the guy did not say anything until a 2nd person came in the store that was not black. He immediately greeted the person and I had to say I was next. Next time I called in a delivery order and ask for fresh slices from a new pie. He said if I want it that fresh I need to pick it up. 3rd and last time. I go to the store again. He does not greet me and I wait as he goes to get tape to place on the glove box. I finally ask is he working and can he take my order. After he took my order I was so upset I canceled the order. I spoke with Richie twice and called to speak to owner but was told he was not available. Luckily we have a few other pizza spots in the area.

Their food is awesome. The staff is very polite. They have one awesome lady that works extremely hard in almost every area of the pizzeria. She is a fast talker as well which is a good thing if you don't want to spend a million years on the phone for an order. There are the guys in the front that are really cool and polite as well. Let's not forget Steve is a great person any issues just ask to speak to him.

The owners have been there a really long time which tells you how good the product is and how well the local community supports Valentinos. Funny story- my brother also loves Valentinos but has lived in Brooklyn for many years now. One day he sent me a picture of - no kidding - some garbage near his place in Carroll Gardens. So what's so special about a picture of Brooklyn garbage??? It was a Valentino's pizza box- half way across the city- in Carroll Gardens Brooklyn. Can you imagine? Someone loves Valentino's Pizza so much, they got a take-out pizza and took it all the way to Brooklyn! Looking forward to my next visit to Queens as I will surely grab a couple of slices from my favorite pizza place of all time.

Now, I'm giving this place 5 stars because it was absolutely delicious and fanastic prices but buyer beware! Do not go here if you have food allergies or a vegetarian or a picky eater in general. They do not do a good job of telling you wants on or in the pizza/rolls/calzones. It's like a choose your own adventure experience. Tried this place for the first time, our local spot was closed today. Classic Italian spot, and I feel they're a bit better than the rest at Valentino's. Didn't disappoint, expect 1.5x portion sizes, not bad for the prices. The dinner rolls are great, nice touch to stand out. Sweet and savory gravy, well seasoned. Only complaint was the Greek salad, probably wouldn't order it again, wasn't a fan of the feta they used and black olives. The red pickled Italian red peppers and small green olives, cherry tomatoes, green light there 👍 Overall nice experience with the slice app again. Delivered fast, about 20m faster than expectation, we're .7 miles away, delivery time was 30m. Delivery guy was nice, wished us well to enjoy dinner. Food is packaged VERY nicely, nothing can go wrong there. Would recommend, and would like to try more items, seems like they'd also stand out from the rest. Great job.

I have eaten in, picked up and had delivery. Great food, and many selections. easy parking for pick up, and...right on time delivery with accuracy. Tables/ chairs and floor were a little older and not 100% clean however its winter time which makes things a little leary. Let's see what the better weather brings as far as appearance to tables and floors.

I love this restaurant, we found Valentino's a couple of trips ago. 2 sides to the restaurant one side is self serve with Pies, Salads and pasta. The other side is dine in and table service. The people working here are great and really go out of their way to make sure you have a good dining experience. We told them we needed an extra plate because we were planning on sharing an entree, the entree comes to the table already split. You gotta love it. Eat here!

I would have given it five stars, but I went on a bad day when their waiter evidently didn't show up to work. So, I took off one star for lack of service and food that I think is not quite five star but pretty close. I had stuffed shells, great! The sausage personal size pizza, not bad, but the crust is kinda soft... My brother said the meatball sub was good. They have a daily lunch special. I love it! Most places only have weekday lunch specials, but I can go here on weekends and have smaller portions for a lower price. I think it's both economical and healthier. I really think most restaurants serve bigger than necessary portions and it's making us fat...

Have tried standard slice and Sicilian so far. Both are good, crispy crust, good flavor. Staff is polite and friendly. Taking covid precautions. Went with two other friends and they both liked their pizza as well, one of which was chicken bacon ranch. They have ices in a cup available in the freezer. Additional dining area in the back. Looking forward to trying a different type of slice next time.

You can sit as long as you would like. It comes with fountain soda, soda can or water. The Caesar salad is okay. Not much salad or chicken. We ordered meat sauce pasta but the guy misheard us and gave us marinara. It was a solid 3.5/5. I also tried a pizza slice. I would give it a 6/10. It wasnt spectacular but passable for this area if that's the few pizzerias around.

Walked over for a few slices earlier for lunch this afternoon. Food was good, customer service was good as well. Overall cleanliness was very decent. Sat, ate & people watched for a few minutes after I finished. I can tell there are a lot of regulars and they are definitely greeted well. This establishment seems to get a lot of business too. I wanted to try a few options but it was only around noon so I didn't want to overdo it... Worth the visit!

This pizza joint is a neighborhood gem. I've been a loyal fan for over a decade, and even though I've moved away, I still make the trek just for their pizza and garlic knots. Their garlic knots are soft, pillowy bites of heaven, bursting with garlicky flavor. Dip them in the side of marinara and it's a match made in food heaven. As a vegetarian, I’m very happy with the variety of slices. The grandma slice is my ultimate go-to, but don't sleep on their regular slice either, it's consistently solid and hits the spot, also highly recommend their eggplant slice if you’re feeling adventurous. Service is meh, they’re not rude but not exactly friendly either. Always lots of seating available, old-school decor, walls are filled with pics of the owners and random celebs. Unfortunately, they have been inconsistent lately. The last time my entire grandma pizza was basically charred and the cheese was burnt to a crisp. Since I’m not fond of crunchy cheese on my pizza, I had to remove a star. Fingers crossed they get their act together.

There is a large variety of pizza to choose from. Food is delicious and restaurant is spotless. I gave them only three stars because their food is always delivered ice cold! Show your customers some respect and deliver your food to them hot like it is supposed to be. The other pizzerias in the area deliver hot food, why can't Valentino's??

Love this place I have been going here for years and the pizza and pasta is still amazing. But the last 3 times I've ordered anything with chicken the quality wasn't good the chicken was really chewy/tough. Not sure if bad meat or if they're just taking chicken straight out the freezer and cooking it right away

I ordered from here numerous times in the past and this place was great for the pizza and knots. Even the apple juice was premium. All of a sudden I order today and I the garlic knots are no where near prior with real garlic added and it was powdered… not garlic knots I would have recommended compared to prior. The chicken wrap was good and no complaints. My biggest gripe was the apple juice I ordered. In the past it was a premium glass bottled Italian apple juice. Now they send for 5 bucks two small Mott’s juice boxes that I could buy myself a pack of three for that same size. That’s ridiculous and shameful! Be better, because I know you were prior. Cutting corners does get noticed. May go elsewhere for cutting corners on important little things you did right prior. Shame!

This is NOT a restaurant. It's a pizza place with food. The fried zucchini was excellent. The baked clams were disgusting. My veal pizzaola and pasta was excellent, nice big portion. Strawberry cheesecake very good. Cappuccinos were horrible, all coffee grounds, no steamed milk. I would have given 1 star except for our waiter Ivan, who didn't charge us for the class and was very nice and attentive. He's too good for this place. If you live in the area order in or do take out. The pastas and desserts are good.

I’ve read many of the reviews, and while this may have been at this location for a long time, I doubt that it is the same owner. The décor is nice enough for a pizzeria, but the pizza is mediocre at best, with almost no flavor. The sauce is bland and tasteless and the cheese also tasted like nothing. The food looks nice enough, but food is for eating, not for looking. I’d skip it.

I came here after rave reviews from acquaintances that insisted I stop by for good pizza. I walked in and stood at the counter for about 5 minutes trying to make eye contact with at least 3 of the 5 people behind the counter, who, respectively, were engaged in some kind of work. I tried speaking to one of the employees who was either ignoring me or didn't hear me as I was not trying to be rude by shouting out when, clearly, I'm literally standing there in front of you. Anyway, some tall man I assume is the management came out and asked me if I was being helped, and THEN the staff behind me acknowledged me. I was in and out in fairly 5-7 minutes. Tops. Anyway, I got a plain slice cause, that's how I test out any legitimate pizzeria; a marinara slice, and a spinach wheel. I got an added sauce which I made no use of, but appreciate nonetheless. THE SPINACH WHEEL WAS AMAZING. I'm not going to lie, it was probably the BEST and freshest I've had in probably, my Iifetime. The plain slice had a great crust, marinara slice was too doughy but again, great crust. Would I ever try Valentino's again? I doubt it, not for the food but for the lack of friendly service/acknowledgment.

I used to be a regular there. I rarely went in the place because it was easier to order in, but I worked the polls on Election Day, and the polling place was a few doors down from Valentino's, so I decided to eat there on my dinner break. So I ordered a chicken roll from the cashier. She told me to give my order to the cook. Okay, so I went to him with it. Well, after I'd placed my order with two people behind the counter, I felt like I'd done my part, so I took a seat while I waited for my food. Ten minutes later I didn't have it, so I went to the counter looking for it. The cook then places a bagged up food order right in front of me - and motions for me to step aside, because it's someone else's food. Seriously, dude? A few more minutes pass, and my break time is running low, so I go back to the counter and ask the cook for my chicken roll - and he only then puts it in the oven. Nearly fifteen minutes after I'd ordered it. I felt disrespected, but I'm giving the place an extra star because I'd had years of good experiences with them prior to this incident. But today is my first time looking for someplace else to order from.

Been ordering from Valentino's since i was a kid. Prices have gone up which is understandable, but the service has fallen off in the past 2 years. Deliveries are late, the pie has the cheese slid over to one side , foods cold & the delivery guys seem to change every week which means service could be good or bad. Still great food, pick it up yourself, I may have to change locations tho cause we mainly do deliveries.

Very very disappointed. The quality, taste and the portion size has deteriorated for the steep prize you are paying. Not the service you opt for when paying for it, expected much much better from a place like this.

After reviewing others low ratings/reviews, I am not surprised they are mainly linked to the RUDE workers. The woman at the front has a disgusting attitude and after I politely asked a question, she so obnoxiously answered me that I was taken aback. I have come here for years and will not be coming again. This isn't the first time the workers have been dismissive and rude and I am surprised the owners have seemed to implement nothing regarding their nasty behavior, specifically the woman at the front. Nasty attitude and definitely will not be coming back. Do better.

Every single time I order from this place the food is EXTREMELY LATE. I ordered at 11:30 and the food didn't come until 1pm. The receptionist is RUDE- even when they're late, or the order is wrong, she yells over you, won't listen. I explicitly asked them to have the driver call when the food is here, I said so multiple times, she said she put a note on the order- the driver doesn't call, food is sitting at security desk for 30 min and the receptionist is yelling at me on the phone. No ownership over the service there. Food is pricey too. AVOID.

I've been a long time customer but I will no longer come back. Their customer service...what customer service? There is none. The staff stand behind the counters chatting or staring at the ceiling waiting for customers to come in yet when they do come in it's "not my problem, ask the next person". The last time I came, I had ordered on the phone and just needed to pay. Rather than help me with my order it was a game of "not my problem, next." I literally had to go through 3ppl until I was finally given my order. Mind you I had already ordered on the phone. Imagine if I had placed the order in person. Oh, no need because that's exactly what happened tonight. Went in trying to place an order and before I could finish my sentence the guy at the counter (an OG staff too) couldn't be bothered and made me wait for someone else. As i waited, I watched 3 employees hover over the one at the cashier as she took the guy in fronts order. Mind you the guy could've taken my pizza slice orders instead of standing there staring at the ceiling. They clearly don't want to be there, do them a favor and take your business elsewhere. Matter of fact, go to Vincenzos they're not far and they have amazing pizza and actually appreciate you and your business.

Hi, I am strictly giving a review based upon the experience i had today in Valentino's. I have being ordering Valentino's for a while now but by deliver uber eats etc, but i just recently started coming to the location. My first time coming to that location they had gold peak green tea. I love that stuff, but they haven't had it in some time. So i asked if they can order it. BIG MISTAKE! I was only politely speaking to the nice, customer service oriented employee, when the pizza maker TONY abruptly requested her to stop helping me and cater to another customer that wanted to pay. I also had to pay for my meal as well but thats not the issue. I just KNOW TONY could have handled the situation in a different manner. Instead of shunning me and my request, customer service goes a long way with me. I have given $20 + for the littles assistance. #ALLCUSTOMERSMATTER I LOVE THE FOOD AT THIS LOCATION AND I SPEND $40 + when i order for delivery MOST TIMES. But this situation rubbed me very wrong and i felt embarrassed and disrespected. So regardless of how great the food is to me. I will no longer be patronizing this business. I'm sure it will be just fine with out my money, but the moto for a great business & it's employees should always be #ALLCUSTOMERMATTER. Thank you, enjoy your day : )

I ordered gnocchi with promodoro sauce from here for the first time they delivered the food to find a hair on my food! I called back and told them and they put me on hold for 5 minutes . I had to call back and tell them once again so I told them send me another order and how long it would be and they hung up ! Very unprofessional!

I placed a pick up order on doordash for 5:45pm-5:55pm. I arrive at 5:45pm. The girl at the counter found my receipt but could not find my order. After a few minutes, she tells me it will be ready in 10 min with no explanation. 20 minutes go by and I get my order. No apologies were given. As for the pizza, it was below average. Very little sauce and cheese. Garlic knots had almost no flavor. Dave portnoy would probably give this place a 4.5/10. I won't be coming back.

Worst customer service I ever experienced. The staff at this restaurant had the audacity to yell/shout at me As I was picking up my order from door dash. I felt disrespected & violated. Nobody that owns a business/restaurant should be yelling anybody! Keep your temper in control. That shows how unprofessional this restaurant really is. The employees literally ganged up on me. 2 of them. while I was just trying to keep it cool and leave. As I was leaving one of them shouted at me. I was so mad I had to go back they apologize but it still didn’t sit right with me. they should not be treating anybody that walks through their door with disrespect at all.

Most of the one star reviews are true. I moved to the neighborhood recently and I remembered my friends would always order from Valentino's for their parties, so why not finally give it a try on my own. I ordered on the phone and went there for pick up. When I got there, it was hard to ask any of the staff for help. Even though I know they saw me and they can see me about to speak, no one stopped to help and went about doing their own things. When I got a guy to help me, he actually mocked me before finally throwing my pizza box towards me. I am definitely not coming back here no matter how good their pizza is. This is not worth paying someone to give me such a bad attitude.

So disappointed. This place is not what it used to be, used to be a class act. I ordered Veal Piccata, and they sent the wrong thing. I couldn’t even eat what they sent due to food allergies and they refused to do anything to help. We have dined at the restaurant for over a decade and I need to say I’m very disappointed in this service. They made a mistake and won’t do ANYTHING to resolve the situation. DO NOT order delivery from here, they take no responsibility for their actions and do not care. I’ll find another Italian restaurant to visit next time I want to dine out as well, you’ve lost a customer.

Terrible service. I’ve been coming here for 20 years, I moved out of the area and came by to visit the neighborhood. I was yelled at for coming in with my certified service animal. She’s a 10 pound tiny dog and did not bark or use the bathroom inside at all. Totally uncalled for, I walk in and before I can even read the menu, an employee starts raising his voice at me just saying “NO DOG! HEY MISS NO DOG!” And when I took a moment to take out her service dog certificate he tells me again to leave I tell him she is a service animal, he says it does not matter when on the sign in front it clearly states service animals are allowed. Not only was he extremely rude his workers were rude as well, rolling there eyes and snickering. This really is a shame seeing as I have been coming here since my children were toddlers.

Food hygiene needs to be improved. I ate hair in pizza. It's disgusting.

This was my first time ordering from this place. I ordered a regular cheese pie. It was the worst pizza that I ever had. I have been eating pizza in New York for over 45 years. The pizza tasted like eating plastic with ketchup. Disgusting. The ingredients to make the are very low quality. Also teach your staff how to cut the pizza correctly. Today you will be losing a customer who would have brought a lot of business. WORST PIZZA IN NYC.

I ordered baked manicotti. The ricotta inside pasta tasted spoiled like soap. I am never going to order from there again. It is not what it use to be. I grew up in little Italy in the Bronx. My Dad is Italian and Hispanic. I know what fresh ricotta tastes like.

I edited this review, when I was a kid, this was the hot spot for me! I use to order pies of granny pies and búffalo chicken pies, buffalo chicken rolls. Just a few seconds ago I got done telling my My friend how good this place was; I was so excited to come here after so many years. But after ordering a slice and a Buffalo chicken roll, I can tell you from the taste of it the second i was taking my first bite of that chicken, that it was chicken that was left a freezer for a very long time, it was completely frozen and probably thawed out before making the chicken roll. And it tasted like frozen old chicken and anybody who's anybody that knows anything about cooking, is that any meat or poultry or seafood left in a freezer too long leaves a flavor so disgusting in your mouth. It's almost like you can smell it in your nose while you're eating it. I'm very sad to change my review, but my buffalo chicken roll was absolutely disgusting. I really hope I don't get salomonella

Spanish worker (male) on the phone was trying to force me to make a minimum delivery of $20. Than gives me attitude saying we are not deliverying to you for $15 . I litterally order here everyday ranging from $15-18 the most. Ill make sure to lower you ratings multiple times if that rude worker keeps picking up the phone and giving me attitude. No way to keep a business running with that rude worker. Smh.

This is the third time I believe that I order cake from this pizzeria and had to take pieces of paper off the cake or out my mouth! I am 9 months pregnant and I get turned off every time. Its unsanitary and disgusting!

Pizza slice today. Not good. Dough is not fully corked, making the pizza droop. The pizza maker says the sauce softened the crust. Their was never any crust. The pizza man said it's a perfect new York pizza. What a joke. Nothing better than a slice with a perfect crust on the bottom. Like if you agree.
