Folsom Tap House

Had a late lunch there July 25, and service and food was great. There had been an issue with the air con earlier, but the bar tender looked after us very well. My Black and Blue burger was very tasty, and my wife had the blackbean burger which she said was the best that she had ever had. I understand that they are made in-house

Can be busy at times, but worth it! Good beer selection on tap. The wings are delicious, with a crispy texture (no soggy wings here). My favorite flavor so far is kamikaze, which is a good mix of spicy, slightly sweet, and also a bit of smoky bbq. The Mac n cheese croquettes with carnitas sounds weird, but easily my favorite thing here. Awesome, friendly service, and the owner seems to genuinely care about your experience. Oh yeah, they also have ALL the sports on TV.

They did a good job of handling a luncheon for 23 with 5 different choices for a flat fee. Small wait on some items but most everyone was served in a 10 minute period. Friendly folks and clean establishment. Chicken sandwich was good with salad, burgers looked great and taco trio enjoyed by others. Petit Chicken salad not as good a deal. Very petite and small amount of chicken. Seemed to have a good variety of beers.

Such a great place! So much fun. Love their entertainment too!

The cheesy pull-apart bread, beyond good, it was like crack. The pot stickers, house-made, and the best I've ever had. Not by a little, by a lot. My ruben sandwich was 10/10... best I've ever had... it displaced the previous first place from 20 years ago in New Orleans. My wife just had a salad, but it was a monster, super fresh, and had a ton of blue cheese crumbles on it. This dinner we had, it was destination grade, and there's no place we can think of in 50 miles that even comes close. You can tell they use top notch ingredients... just sooooo good. Wait staff was super friendly, it was just so good I can't even say it enough. We'll be coming here a lot! UPDATE: We've been back 6 times since my original review, and the hits just keep on coming. The "Tap House Burger" should be called something cool like "The Monster". It's HUGE, and perfectly delicious. (Take a great burger, add a whole rueben sandwich to it, and POW.) Additionally, the dessert menu changes constantly... and so far the most astounding one we've tried (3 times now) is the Creme Brulee dounut with salted caramel and topped with vanilla ice cream. Just, it's so good, it really can't be described better than "Life Changing". This place remains an easy 10 out of 10. The kitchen staff are truly over-achievers in the best way. I almost forgot... Taco Tuesday! Not little street tacos, but proper amazing tacos (Korean BBQ was heaven). I think there was like 8 varieties, we tried most of them, and they were excellent. Best Taco Tuesday anywhere.

Wonderful service, food and atmosphere! By far the best bar in Folsom! The new owner/Management has really improved things and has already turned a great bar into an Awesome one!! Kerri, in particular, is a wonderful server that makes us always feel welcome!

It is still a very enjoyable experience! Yes the waffle fries were extra crispy and regular fries were under done. But, the sandwichs and brew made up for the shirt comings!

Everything you want in a sports bar. Maybe not a super party atmosphere but thats ok.

I have been coming every weekend trying different foods. The food is good sometimes it's a bit oily. Service is okay, since I am there a long time its almost like the server who takes over is annoyed that I am still there. Otherwise its a great place. .

Great food. Quixotic beer and wine selection. Friendly staff. Great place for lunch or dinner. But, portions are small. I ordered tater tots for an additional 2$ but only got 20. Otherwise great place.

I ordered deep fried prawn(6) appetizer with spicy dipping sauce. $15 Domestic beer $6.50 a bottle.

Had their Burger really no complaints cooked perfect tasted great decent beer selection as well. Wife had the tortellini which was really bad not only very little flavor but bad flavor. Would come back just not order that again.

I liked their beer options, lots of local area craft breweries represented. I wasn't crazy about the food we ordered - not bad at all, just not great. Service was good, staff are very attentive and refresh your drinks often. Would come back for beer, not necessarily more grub.

Friendly service, limited gluten-free options, but the chicken lettuce wraps were really great. Decent wine menu and outstanding beer menu. The chocolate Porter is practically a meal in itself.

Good place with a nice beer selection. The food is pub-ish, generally. It seems that the vegetarian options have gotten better recently, including a nice flat bread which is pretty darned good.

stopped in for dinner. everything is sorta OK nothing is great. Beer was flat, and beer lines probably need cleaning. Burger (8oz) was good, fries ok, ceviche had little flavor.

Barely any mushrooms and no onions. $50 for one burger and two beers. I'll be staying home and grilling my own burgers for now on. Cool atmosphere and music selection. Over cooked ahi appetizer. Over cooked medium burger was well done. Very saucy but tasty chicken picatta. Good vinegarettes for salads. Overall basic bar food. Nothing special.

Good service, great beer selection and nice place, but really mediocre food. Fries are TERRIBLE. I never complain about fries, I love all kinds of fries, but these were so bad I sent them them back. Hard, over cooked, hollow and flavorless in the middle. Second batch was exactlty the same. The chicken sandwich was so-so. Last time I was here I had the pulled pork sandwich and same story, sandwich was dry and lacked flavor and they ruined the fries. Nice people, great set up, but not a good place for a meal.

It’s good place for hangout. Patio is bit ok, they have small patio and in that they have to many tables. It’s not spacious patio setting. Please reduce few tables from patio. Food is good but expensive. One thing I didn’t like in food is the wings. Chicken wings were hard to chew. Some were ok somewhere not. So not money worth it. Server/Waitress was really welcoming. But there is one waiter who is rude I felt. He kinda showed that he joked but actually he insulted one my friend. We had fun so that’s why we tipped but will not visit here again.

Tell me you know nothing about any MC other than what you have seen on an episode of Sons Of Anarchy. Some of the best Men I know, who are some of the biggest philanthropist I have ever met would fall under this moronic statute. On top of this, this bar has no security, so it falls on the female only bartenders to enforce this dress code. I am curious how this bar even has an entertainment permit for live music with no security or staff with CA Guard Cards.

I really disliked our experience here. The street tacos were all slaw two globs of cheese and sauce, hardly any meat yet we paid $1.50 more per taco for steak. The salsa was super acidic as if it were expired. I ordered a beer that came with no head to it, and what foam was there streaked indicating a dirty glass. Onion rings tasted just like fish, after asking if it was the same batter i was told they use the same fryer. I feel if they use the same fryer why not the same batter, its only cross contamination. The 14 dollar burger was terrible. It was their spicy one with ghost pepper jack cheese. Expecting a juicy burger with a nice bbq sauce. I got a dry meat patty with a small smear of sauce.this caused the bun to be dry along with the burger. I dont recommend this place

Bruschetta Salmon does not come with Bruschetta... Highly suspicious. Everything else was okay. Food was still fire.

Couldn't try the food since no one took time to acknowledge us. We came in, sat down, made eye contact with 2 servers and waited for 15m before just leaving to go somewhere else.

Ordered nachos and two beers. Nachos came and I had to ask if that was the full order I asked for. It seriously looked like a kids menu item! Even the server took a re-take to make sure it was. Taco bell would easily win a nacho shoot out against this offering! Don't waste your time with this place! Too many other, legitimate, places to patronize. *I would've taken a pic, but I was so hungry, it was gone in two bites.
