The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared, with great attention to seasoning and presentation. The portions were satisfying, and each bite was enjoyable. You can really tell care went into making the meal, and it left a great impression. I just had the most wonderful breakfast here at El Gallo Giro. I had the breakfast torta with added jalapenos. The bread was freshly made and I ended up eating the entire torta in one sitting! To wash it down, I ordered the cafe de olla, first time trying a breakfast torta and cafe de olla. Will definitely try again if I am in the area!

This restaurant is very clean and organized. The food is delicious and made to order. This restaurant is way overpriced compared to other Mexican restaurants. Be ready to spend a good amount of money for a family to eat here. The large agua frescas (fruit flavor drinks) cost $8.00! Not recommend for kids to eat here unless they eat all their food. It's great for a quick date night.

Was my first time at El Gallo Giro. Really love this place. Has all the feel of a traditional mercado with pan dulce and all the delicious meats for tortas, tacos & burritos. I had the 4 taco combo with pastor, carnitas, abobada and fritanga. All were excellent. Restaurant was very clean and welcoming. Only minor complaint is that the wait was kind of long but it was worth. Staff is also very friendly. Will definitely come back again.

Kept it simple and tried the al pastor torta. PROS : Torta has good flavor throughout. Mango/ dragon fruit water & cucumber water have great flavor. CONS: Torta bread is plain and a bit dry. You guys really got to do something about all the flies, they were on the bread, trays and the tamale masa you had sitting on the counter. the way your staff ignored them like it was normal is extremely concerning considering we trust your staff to uphold food safety standards. Last time I was here everything seemed fine and the food was great. I'm not sure if management changed and they don't enforce the food safety standards but this was very disappointing.

I hadn't eaten here in many years so my last memory was it being really good. Had a Torta Cubana, a regular asada taco, and a medium pineapple water. The torta was messy, bland, and overall not good. I remember it being so much better a long time ago. Also it was was way over priced for my liking. I believe I paid 15 dollars for a torta. I'm very aware of inflation but geez! Also I had a regular asada taco that was surprisingly good and flavorful. It was actually better than the torta for me but a regular means extra small. My taco was smaller than any other street taco I've eaten in my life and I believe it was 3 dollars. The pineapple water was the star of the show! I paid 26 dollars for a torta, regular taco, and a medium pineapple water & this was 7am because I'm fresh off of the night shift. It bothered me while I was paying for it and I was slightly irritated especially after eating the food. Went in for a carne asada torta but the bread was so dry and flaky, made the top of my mouth roof sore. They need to cover their bread, they had it out exposed to air not covered so it makes it dry. Torta bread tasted dry and old. The carne asada was also very dry no flavor. Not worth going back not worth $15.00. The only good thing was their agua fresca. The place needs more attention to cleanliness it was 2:30 and table and salsa bar were dirty.

Your service really needs improvement. It is unacceptable. We were standing in line for twenty-five minutes just to place our order. Waiting for the food to be prepared is understandable, but having only two people working at such a slow pace is not. They need better training, or you need to hire more staff. More cashiers are clearly needed. The situation was pathetic and completely unacceptable. This was the first and last time I will come here. I hope you take the necessary steps to improve and truly listen to your customers.

Went in for breakfast food and bread, took over 15 minutes for anyone to even asked if we’ve been helped yet , they charged me for everything I ordered, yet to find out there’s no Tamela’s in the pan , it was empty , waited for my bean and cheese burrito before my Kaiser appointment yet to find out they charged us for it and never made the burrito . Would not recommend if I could give zero stars I would . Skip this place go to MCdonalds , TRASH SERVICE
