Very nice food good service and a good place
I order take out. The food is always fresh, tasty, and hot made to order. The man at the counter in the market is very kind. The ladies are very nice as well. The market has many Indian snacks, drinks, and spices. Love this place. I go every 3 weeks for take out
So, I was on my way to an assignment on one of the most destructive fires in state history. I wanted one yummy lunch on the road before the upcoming weeks of fire camp and randomly stopped here. The gentleman behind the counter immediately started loading me up with food, even went back to make some fresh Tikka and a couple of naan for the road, sending me on my way with enough for probably three meals. This kindness ahead of what will be weeks of exhausting and sad work made all the difference today. That would be enough to bring me back, but OMG that samosa was soooo good! Come for the samosas, come for the kindness.
Tasty food and friendly service. The tables may be on occasion a little untidy but let them know and they will clean it up right away. Great Punjabi style food. Stuffed tandoori Parantha are great. Have been regularly visiting this place for the past five+ years especially during pandemic. Never disappointed.
This has become a new favorite of ours! The food is amazing! The staff and owners are wonderful. The atmosphere is great. You can shop at the market on one side and order take-out. The ladies make the food fresh. On the other side is the buffet restaurant. There are so many choices! Great for newbies to sample everything and we see all of the other regular customers coming in also. DEFINITELY A MUST GO PLACE!
They’re chicken tikka missala is the absolute best. So delicious I will definitely come back.
Excellent friendly service! Everything is delicious with good variety, healthy, and amazing value. Well worth visiting for the the grocery or trying the delicious food at the restaurant. 10/10. Wonderful vegetarian options.
I got my usual which was butter chicken, chicken biriyani and samosas, and let me just say they were all soooo good! I don’t have many options near me and I’m willing to drive far to have this again
Love this buffet place. Lunch buffet is about $15 and the chicken and goat is delicious. The garlic naan is great as well and everyone is so kind and welcoming.
Had an amazing buffet with some of the best food I've ever had! Aloo Gobi, Samosas, Chicken Tikka Masala, Naan, Basmati Rice, Curry, everything was so good and we left completely stuffed! The only downside is the distance from our house, but we hope to make the drive again sometime soon! It's definitely worth it!
Went here with my Husband for the very first time and we loved it. The decor was fresh and modern, very clean. The food was to die for and the bar is very nice. Very tidy place. We love Indian food and we will for sure be coming back to the Spice Jar again and again!!
First time eating Indian cuisine. I came with a coworker got the buffet variety was excellent. They owners were very friendly and approachable. I am in awe how delicious the food is. I will be BACK for sure. May consider having Christmas party for department at this establishment.
Indian food is my absolute favorite! I ate here for the first time and it didn't disappoint! I walked in when the buffet was almost closing, so I filled up a to go box. The food was flavorful and mouth watering and the naan bread was warm and garlicky. It definitely hit the spot! I'll be back!
Everything was fire. Right amount of spice and flavor. Perfect combination. I can eat here everyday.
Pricey but definitely worth it if you're in the mood for some good food. We accidentally ordered too much garlic naan so it was more expensive than we anticipated but that's our bad. Quality of the food is great and the spices are really well balanced. I recommend this place. P.S. we got take out.
Amazing food and Indian Grocery store! Incredible selection of herbs, spices with too much to choose from. I would definitely come here for ghee and time to browse around. I have eaten here many times and enjoyed every bite of food I’ve been blessed to consume 🙏🏽
The restaurant was empty when we went, everything was very clean and tidy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All the food was freshly prepared and so very tasty. For everything that we ordered the price was not bad and the portions were huge.
How did I never order from here?! The Butter Chicken is soo delicious! The staff is nice, knowledgeable and take the time to answer any question without rushing you. The store is not big but they have a elegant assortment of spices and frozen foods. I love it!
Legit, some of the BEST Indian food I've had. I got the dinner combo and I was not disappointed. Friendly staff, delicious food, and even a market in the store! 10/10 definitely check them out!
Just visited this place and there food is amazing! Well be back to eat and you should to.
My girlfriend and I try to come here at least once a month for the weekend brunch buffet. A glass of champagne with all you can eat, along with garlic nan. I personally love the Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken, and rice. Oh and if you don't want champagne, you could get a Mango Lassi. Delicious food here!

HOLYYYY GRAIL OF DELICIOUS FOOD. Everything g was delicious. It’s typically hard to find such flavorful vegetarian food. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! 5/5 food taste Service wasn’t great but the food makes up for it
The curry lentil soup is very tasty but very expensive. The 32oz container is $18.49 after tax... There's also a small market Their market is excellent. They have everything you need to make a delicious healthy meal. I made curry lentil soup. It was fantastic.
Amazing food, incredible staff and such a wonderful environment the man in the front always gives me a free mango lassi
Best food only spicy jar i love this store 👌👌👌👌👌
Went on 2 separate occasions once the buffet was over. Had chicken korma with chili garlic naan it was so good I finished the whole thing by myself. Next I tried the buffet I should have gotten there earlier (I reached at 2:15 or so) everything I had was delicious and fresh. The chicken was tender and well made. I was pleasantly surprised by the buffet quality. Buffet runs every day 11am-3 but get there at 1

I always come here if I want really good Indian food, I come in between 11:30 - 3 for the buffet for 10$ which is awesome since the price comes with unlimited nan, the decorations in the restaurant is okay nothing much or nothing less , the waiters are honestly a little slow , sometimes they either bring the Nan late and your food is cold , or waiting for water and having your food cold as well , also it takes a while for them to clean the tables. but everything is great
Went for dinner on a Thursday. We got the 14.99 deal for a non vegetarian complete dinner (they have several dishes/options). In my opinion the food was not amazing but it was good. Good enough for the price and descent portions served. They also offer buffet until 3pm but we missed that. Apparently on Saturday’s they have champagne offers, they serve beer as well. I’m not an expert in this type of food, so at the same time I was just comparing it to Punjab Palace in riverside (Chicago avenue). Based on that, I give the food 4 stars instead of 5. I liked the place though, pretty clean and nice looking.
The food is simply incredible. I had the somosas, Tika masala chicken, a lamb dish (that unfortunately I can't remember the of) and garlic Naan bread. The Somosas crispy on the outside soft and flaky on the inside. They were delicious try them with some of the sauces they offer. The red sauce is sweet while the green is spicy the white one is made out of yogurt which is my favorite. The Tika masala we got was made from the oven chicken which was soft and tender. Wonderful flavor I do recommend it please be aware there are bones and sometimes nerves in it. But we were told before hand. The lamb which was the 4th lamb item on the list was tasty. When you think of lamb sometimes you can get a strong flavor this was very mild and it just fell apart and melted in your mouth. Now the service wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst. They are great but if you want top notch service don't come they will annoy you. We didn't mind to sit for a minute and then have to ask for certain things. But if you feel you have to be catered to then just order to go because the food is still great.
Spice Jar: A Tale of Two Worlds - Delicious Food, Bumpy Service My Spice Jar experience was a curious tale of two halves: foodie paradise on the plate, and a bit of convenience store chaos in the air. Let's delve into the delicious first. The Food: Oh, the food! It was a vibrant tapestry of pungent spices and aromatic flavors. The lamb vindaloo (7/10) wrestled with my taste buds, offering a great flavor profile but leaving me yearning for a more intense fire. The chicken tikka masala (8/10), however, hit the spice sweet spot perfectly. Rich tomato gravy hugged tender chicken cubes, each bite an explosion of comfort and warmth. The goat biryani (9/10) was a revelation. Fluffy rice studded with succulent goat, aromatic spices, and caramelized onions – it was a symphony of textures and tastes. And the samosas (10/10). They were golden titans, crisp and flaky on the outside, bursting with spiced-potato goodness within. A single bite transported me to bustling street markets, a testament to their authenticity. The chili garlic naan (10/10) deserves a standing ovation. Fluffy, chewy, and infused with the perfect blend of chilies and garlic, it was the ideal dipping companion. Every morsel begged to be scooped up in its warm embrace. The Service: Now, the service (6/10) was a bit of a bumpy ride. Tucked away in the convenience store side with the main restaurant closed, things got a tad hectic. Orders got mixed up, wait times stretched, and the overall ambiance lacked the charm I expected. I give the staff credit for handling the unexpected rush with relative grace, but it took a bit of the shine off the dining experience. The Verdict: Despite the slight service hiccup, Spice Jar's food shines brightly. The bold flavors, generous portions, and exquisite textures left me wanting more. If you're chasing a spice adventure, and don't mind a touch of quirky ambience, Spice Jar is worth a visit. Just be prepared for a potential convenience store detour!
Good place for Indian food and groceries. Wide range of snacks available but not all listed on the menu so better ask the server. Overall place is clean, good food and fast service.

Good food, very good flavor, loved their desserts, they do take a little long for your order, I guess because everything is made fresh, our order took 45 minutes to be ready, I'll recommend you to order ahead. Place was messy everything was everywhere, all this at the store side. Restaurant side is closed, only take out is available.

Absolutely terrible service. We have to ask for stuff manually. Even the utensils. Employees show little respect. The food is alright. Not the best food I have tasted at an indian restaurant. The atmosphere is also alright. Lots of random stuff laying around. Overall 2 stars. Maybe even 1
Many of the reviews on here have had positive experiences, our experience, however was not so positive. I will say the restaurant itself looked amazing, fresh and modern. The service, not so much. It took a while to get recognized and they didn't greet us till we were walking toward a spot, maybe it was a seat yourself type of place. The restaurant wasn't very busy yet it took far longer than one would have expected to have a waiter come by. When we were finally able to order, we put in our drink selections. My g/f got a iced tea and I got a hot one. Her's came out instantly, mine came out at the end after we had eaten. Our food quality felt more like what I'd expect from a 3 star place. Not anywhere near the 4.5 star rating this had. Our expectations were higher than what we received, we do hope that this isn't a common experience and that this business is normally worth the higher rating posted.
Honestly; Midz. I placed an online pickup order; it took them over an hour to prepare the food. Food itself was good; then an hour later I was evacuating my soul via my turdcutter on the toilet. As I type this, I am paint-matching my toilet bowl the morning after dinner as well. Food is great, diarrhea isn't.
Came to the Restaurant sat down waited for someone to get our order. Look like Relatives came after us and they were talking but never came over to say welcome or take our order. Waited about 10 min looks like he took their order but didn’t bother to come and ask us anything. We just walked out bad experience no wonder is always lonely they need better service.
We ordered food twice from this restaurant once the order was not complete, we told them but they did not care about it when we reached home the order was incomplete and the second time we came for pick up they said that you have not ordered from this place even we also asked them to repeat the order on call. The service is so rude.
If there was an option to put 0 stars, I definitely would. Even though we ordered our food and drinks, we still had to remind our server to bring it out. And for our food we needed utensils, without we cannot eat, we had to ASK for our forks and spoons. The service is disappointing and my family and I are very dissatisfied.
It’s quite strange that both of us from the same household bought the same item from Spice Jar, but we are charged different prices each time. Sometimes it’s more expensive, and sometimes it’s cheaper, even though the item (faniya) is exactly the same. Such inconsistency pricing is confusing, and we would appreciate more clarity!
Bait and switch Buffet. The first five minutes there I was very pleased and planned on returning with friends again. The food was great, but only for one full plate. I think the Tandoori chicken was good, but only had one small piece and it was never refilled. The chicken Tikka was also good, but I fished every last piece out, and it was never refilled, even after asking for more and waiting an hour. Minimal selection and no desert. It was several hours until closing, but I believe they were being cheap with the food because there were not many patrons. This is not a good way to earn repeat customers. I definitely won't be back.
Ordered food tonight. All the food seems like it's watered down. There is no flavor. Coconut chicken taste nothing like coconut. I feel like I'm eating water with color and cooked chicken. I wont be coming back to this place. Definitely not worth the money. Oh they also forgot an item that ordered from Door dash and asked if I wanted to come pick it up.... Lol I ordered from Door dash for a reason. Very disappointed in this place
I ordered Dahi bhalla for dinner we thought it will really good but that was my dream, It was loaded with red chili “Never order Dahi bhalla from them”.
Dirty unorganized place, service with a bad attitude, the food it's not worth the wait.
I have never seen fish pakora with lots of onions and pepper. Second item chili chicken was too sweet with wrong box packing. We order raita and they were giving us lassi instead. When I called back about their fish instead of apologizing she said we have full BABE DI KIRPA and I told her the way your service and food quality, Babe Di Kirpa would not last long.
Don’t go there one lady over there she don’t know how to talk with customers and I got chicken pokara it’s taste less 🤮 I suggest you guys don’t go there
This is suks. Me n my friend orderd some food when we recieved it the dishes was really dearty. When I complain about this they said to me it's the washer machine fault n they can't do any thing n they suggest me to wash it, if u guys gona visit here then b care full

I went to this restaurant today 12/18/25 around 1 pm and i ordered food by calling them and the lady on phone was very rude, she has zero sense of customer service and when i went there for pickup she was even more rude, when i asked her why you’re so rude and she replied i am like that do whatever you want to do. At the end i would say the owner needs to look up the situation and needs to improve this kind of customer service.
Service is terrible. Gentlemen didn’t even look up from his phone when helping me. The lady over the phone was much nicer. I usually come here to get naan to go with my dinner and have had much better service in the past. I will not be returning to this location.
