Dee's in Forest Hills is a nostalgic throwback. My husband raved about it, and it lived up to the hype. The decor is vintage and cozy, perfect for a relaxed dinner. We tried the Fried Cracked Shrimp and Classic Pizza. The shrimp were crispy and flavorful, a real treat. The pizza was a classic New York style, with a crispy crust. If you're in the neighborhood, Dee's is definitely worth a visit.

We were seated without reservations on a Sunday evening. The calamari comes in a huge portion and it was very crispy on the outside, fresh on the inside. The pizza was great as well, loved the thin crust.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a charming little Italian restaurant called "Dee’s NYC" and had an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with warm smiles and a cozy ambiance that made us feel right at home. To start off our meal, we decided to indulge in a classic Italian favorite - pizza. We ordered the Classico & Forest Hills pizza, and it was a true delight. The crust was perfectly crispy, the tomato sauce was flavorful, and the melted mozzarella cheese brought everything together in a mouthwatering symphony of flavors. It was evident that the pizza had been made with love and attention to detail. Also, we requested a sprinkle of truffle oil on both which brought the pizza to another level. We couldn't resist trying the calamari. To our delight, the calamari was cooked to perfection - tender, not at all chewy, and lightly seasoned with just the right amount of herbs and spices. The accompanying dipping sauce added a tangy kick that perfectly complemented the crispy exterior of the calamari. It was a plate of seafood perfection. To accompany our delectable meal, we opted for a bottle of Riesling wine recommended by our fabulous waitress, Arianna. We couldn't have asked for a better waitress. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel like valued guests throughout our dining experience. She took the time to explain the menu, answer our questions. Overall, our experience was nothing short of fantastic. If you're looking for a cozy Italian restaurant with delicious food and exceptional service. You won't be disappointed. Fun Fact: Wednesday is Wine Discount Day!

Walked in during a holiday weekend on a Saturday around 1:30 and was able to get a table for 6 which included 2 strollers. The pizza oven in the corner is on full display. Staff was welcoming and attentive. There is a brunch menu and the full menu is also available during brunch. They have bottled beers and a full bar; when my partner ordered an old fashioned, the staff inquired which whisky he wanted. Fire cracker shrimp appetizer has a nice kick to it. Many tables order fried calamari, which was nicely fried and on a bed of lettuce. Chicken parmesan was blanketed with a nice layer of parmesan. Give Me Five pasta also had a great kick to it. I used to order a seafood medley pasta that unfortunately is no longer on the menu. Portions were relatively generous as the only person in my party who finished order a burger with fries; fries were nothing to write home about though. Granted, we did order two appetizers for the table; had we didn't, half the party would've finished their mains. There were 2 unisex bathrooms, both of which are small and neither of them had a changing table. I wanted to pay for another party's meal and was able to do so with the help of the wait staff who was attentive and discreet; they were also willing to break the news to the table when I was too shy to do so myself. There was plenty of metered parking available and there is street parking nearby as well, which was relatively easy to find. All in all, Dee's is a warm space with awesome food!

*We came back for the Nutella Pizza and it was so worthy* The customer service was awesome like always. Must visit in Queens. What a wonderful place! We went to Dee’s for the first time on a Friday night and the experience was great! We had reservations and we’re seated as soon as we got there. The restaurant have a relaxing atmosphere and is beautiful. All the waiters and waitresses were very nice and welcoming. The food was DELICIOUS! We ordered two pizzas and they came out fast, they’re super tasty and the ingredients are good and high quality. PS. They have a Nutella Pizza!!! We didn’t ordered but we’re definitely going back to try it! Highly recommend the restaurant if you’re looking for great food, service and ambiance!

Dee’s is a gem!! I’ve been wanting to visit for such a long time and figured why not save it for a special occasion…. And it was worth every moment. Our server Mary was vibrant, kind and spot on all other servers were warming as well which was nice. I couldn’t decide between the salmon and pesto pasta so I went with the salmon from her recommendation which was delish! My sons chicken tenders are usually always over cooked but here they were crisp yet juicey. The chicken parm was massive and made to perfection. The dessert was light and memorable. Make sure to try the wood fire pizza and overall we can’t wait to go back. The drinks are also quite special which is such a rat commodity.

Great place for an intimate or corporate dinner. I had a work party here, they offer mocktails which is great for people that do not drink. Their pizza was great, salad, pasta, and their meals were great as well. I know they may have a different menu for corporate gatherings but it was a great space to speak with coworkers. Parking is great around the area and the neighborhood is beautiful as well.

Food was good, pizza was good. We got the Forrest hill. But in my opinion for myself. Could have used more balsamic glaze the salad was good basic. The service our server she was friendly very sweet. The hostess. Was a bit rude abd kinda seem like she wanted to brush us off a bit. I would go back to try some other menu items. Just keep in mind. They close a lot earlier than most restaurants. So we did feel rushed and had to order everything all at once.

The brick oven pizza was delicious and it came out fast (Forest Hill pizza). Pasta dish is ok and I like the chicken parm. Portions are pretty big. Service is great and they seem to get a lot of regular customers. I would come back to try other pizza options.

We went there for our Pastor's birthday. We had a fantastic time, dinner was delicious and our server Chris (I hope I remembered his name) was fantastic. We were very happy and delighted with the evening. We were allowed to bring in balloons and cider since we don't drink. Tip is included in the bill for groups of 5 people.

The pizza was amazing. I had the sausage and peppers and the sausage tasted homemade. The tomato sauce did not taste too acidic and with a lot of sodium. The crust had a nice char but was not overcooked. The pasta also tasted homemade and “al dente”. One minor complaint was that some of my seafood was slightly overcooked but over all the seafood pasta dish was delicious. Had a Greek salad and it was good but nothing special. I also tasted the lasagna, it was good. The service was great. The restaurant was nice and clean. I went to this place on a Thursday around 7:00 PM it was full. Might need a reservation for the weekend or if possible, avoid peak hours to avoid waiting for a table. I would definitely will go back to try another pizza.
