My whole experience was extremely pleasant 🍪💛🫶 First time here, and what I was really impressed by was the service! Everyone was really nice. I like that they were extra friendly with my baby dog Billy. He got a treat and was welcome to chill with me while I worked on my laptop. Loved my white mocha and blueberry scone ✨️❤️🔥

Ok so, if at Fort Bragg this place is a must. I am not a cookie person but the ginger and shortbread cookies here are the best I’ve ever had. We tried a few other types too and since my husband didn’t complain lol they must of been great too. The blue scones are to die for. Soft and fluffy and my 21 month old just ate the whole thing without a peep. We got some to go but they are almost gone so I’ll need to place a delivery order soon. Also, the people are so nice and hospitable and just seem so real. I am big fan for sure! And they are right across the street from a cool little ice cream shop so it’s a win win all around ☺️

The coffee was excellent (which is rare in this area) I had one double fudge brownie and chocolate chip cookie and they were AMAZING Very recommended

Can't say anything about the coffee. But the cookies. Oh. My. God. The cookies!! Thick, chewy and a little crisp around the edge.. Great variety--choc chip, peanut butter, chocolate choc chip and ginger. Also random flavors like one with oatmeal, coconut, nuts and chocolate chips. If they have that one GET IT! Or three. Seriously. You're gonna want more than one. Just sayin.... :)

The ginger spiced cookie is divine. After this and the ginger ice cream from Cowlick, ginger is my new favorite flavor. The double chocolate cookie is also soft, buttery and crunchy around the edges. I get the hype now.

I heard these guys got a negative review. I overhead this as I was in line behind people who come from Sacramento to get these cookies. I am from Reno and come here a few times a year. The first place I stop is Mendocino cookie company. Someone does not know what a great cookie tastes like! I feel bad for them😢

The best cookies ever! I have them shipped to my friends throughout the state--huge hit! Everyone who comes to visit me insists on daily trips for their delicious coffee and fantastic cookies. Highly recommend! And the staff is great!

Love the location in the heart of downtown and the ladies working the shop were so friendly to us and our kids. The cookies were yummy and a good price. Our favorites were the chocolate chip and the brownie. Hoping they have the cinnamon sugar cookie on the menu for the day when we return!

I just had the most delicious cookie. The Backpacker. Passing through on a roadtrip, and randomly stopped for coffee. Delicious, quick, and very decently priced. If I ever come through Fort Bragg again, I will definitely be stopping!

A very cute cafe! I got a mocha and a peanut butter cookie for $6.50. Service was speedy and friendly! The location is convenient, brightly lit, and very cozy. There are a few signs around the building saying that this cafe has one of the best cookies in California, and while I am not qualified to rank cookies, I will say the peanut butter cookie I got was incredibly tasty! It was very flavorful, had an amazing texture, and went well with my coffee. I've paid more for cookies not as good as this one, so I am comfortable recommending getting a drink and sweet treat from here!

Chocolate chip- good cookie, a little salty. Starting to think its a me problem and not them though. Peanut butter- good soft cookie with tiny peanut bits. Mocha (brown) hot coffe- this was my favorite! Not too sweet but still chocolatety. Parking on the side was a breeze, friendly staff, and there's other stores in the same building to browse through. I didn't care for the snippy sign but after seeing the attitudes of some of the other customers I can see why it may be necessary!

I usually get their chocolate walnut cookies and they are good. I decided to try the shortbread cookie as well. I consider myself a shortbread aficionado and this cookie fell short in my book. I wouldn't buy it again.

I was excited to try these cookies based on the reviews, but they definitely fell short of my expectations. They didn’t even taste like they had butter in them and generally tasted like the dough was made at least a week ago and without high quality ingredients and then baked more recently. I would not come back for the cookies.
