So much more than a coffee shop. Pastries and fresh baked home made treats are to die for. Amazing chi latte. Best spot in town. Old records are played in the back. Very homey and friendly.

The pastries are on the same tier as the best pastry shops in major urban areas. The almond olive oil cake was the biggest standout with its crispy sugary top, better than at the famous spots in NYC. Scones were light and fluffy with crispy crags. Croissants were crispy and flaky. The cafe has a beautiful outdoor garden space in the back.

Best coffee in Mendocino. We are visiting from London and very fussy about our coffee. We love flat white. We settled on oat milk cortados with a little extra milk and they are simply delicious. The baked goods are also exceptional. The muffins and scones are simply irresistible. This place really is a hidden gem

Espresso and matcha drinks are okay. Wouldn't rate them as amazing. They have a couple of board games too. Update: We went again late in the afternoon for a latte and beers. It was an amazing experience. Latte was creamy and delicious. They have a good selection of different types of beer from CA local brewries. We ordered the hazy IPA from Santa Cruz and Firestone stout from Paso Robles. Stout had just a hint of bitterness (chocolate) with tasty notes of vanilla. The night got better when their DJ started playing great mixes of funk music. He usually comes once a month on Fri/Sat. He's fun to talk to and really enjoys what he does. He also let us play some music with his gear towards the end :)

Mendocino county hasn't had a place like this yet and it's really cool. Tap room/coffee bar and breakfast spot all combined with a cool vibe. It's a good place to hang out. Looks like a wood fireplace in the corner, hope they run it in the evenings. The coffee was more than solid and so were the bagels and scones we tried. It was an SF surfer/hipster crowd when we stopped in, def not a locals spot but it could have been the timing. The staff were brusque and short but very busy and signage was up so fair play. It seemed like a good crew. Patio was dog friendly for our boys not sure about inside we didn't ask. The mendo coast needs a place like this that has a modern take on coffee. Good job y'all.

Really great cup of coffee! Ordered both an espresso and a latte, the shots had a very nice balanced flavor and the barista knew what she was doing! Pastries looked tempting and many others were ordering, but we didn't try any. Small seating areas for those looking to sit in, but we took our coffee to go to look out over the beaches.

I got the rose latte and thee best brownie I've ever had in my life. I'm not sure what was in it, but picture chocolate mousse in brownie form and that's what it was. The food and coffee were amazing. Service was excellent and loved the seating.

We tried their matcha latte, croissants, cappuccino, and latte. I have to say they were amazing. I got the matcha and it was too good. My family was pleased with the coffee as well. They said their coffee blend was perfect and refreshing. They have restroom access and minimum parking space. Coffee tastes curdled every single time--baristas don't know what they are doing--but are snide, holier-than-thou, and treat you like a buffoon if you ask them to reset the wifi router despite that being one of the technical signatures of the coffee shop. Have no idea how they manage to stay in business...I guess being normatively attractive can let you put people through a toddler's idea of a business and inordinately inhumane service? Oh, and they might want to put a trash can inside of the business--you know, so that people don't have to walk out of the cafe every time with their trash to deposit elsewhere. A joke.
