Amazing dinner, amazing experience! Service and food are just perfect! Lobster was incredibly large and the steak was perfectly done.
Great view of the harbor where you can see boats come in and out as you dine. Reasonably priced and seafood was good. We got there at 6:30 and could get a table, but as we left at 7:30 totally packed and people waiting.
Silvers at the Wharf was exactly what we needed on New Year’s Eve. We arrived in Fort Bragg late, close to 9:00 PM, and wanted to grab something to eat before heading back to our hotel. Since it was New Year’s Eve, options were limited, so we called ahead to see if they were still serving food. Gina, our waitress, answered and told us to come on over — she said they were almost done serving food, but she was there and would take care of us. That alone made us feel welcomed. When we arrived, we sat at the bar. It was fairly quiet with a few people there, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Being right on the water made it even better. Rafael, who was working the bar, was also wonderful — friendly, attentive, and very accommodating. I ordered the spicy chicken wings, which were really good, and Ray had the fish and chips, which he enjoyed. I had a double IPA (Pliny), and Ray had a Hefeweizen, which he liked a lot. Everything hit the spot after a long travel day. We also learned that the wharf, our hotel (The Beachcomber), and a few other places around town are owned by the same group, which really gives Fort Bragg that small-town, connected, welcoming feel. We were able to eat, relax, and still get back to our hotel before the New Year rolled in — a perfect way to end the night. Wegotschwag on TikTok
Dinner with a view! This restaurant was beautiful inside and out. The place was decorated for Christmas, giving it a wonderful glow. The hot apple cider was delightful and refreshing. The ceviche was amazing, so fresh and flavorful! The clam chowder was great, I couldn't eat all of it. The bread bowl was perfect. Boyfriend had the crab ravioli, tasty and different. The Olallieberry Cobbler with ice cream was absolutely delicious! Our server was friendly, attentive, helpful, and a delight!
I had a really amazing lunch of FRESH fish and chips, with homemade tartar sauce that is out of this world! Jorge was a great and attentive server. I ate outside, with a beautiful view of the harbor, and a sea lion entertained me. Fort Bragg is my happy place. The new ownership is so great! I’ll be back! 😍
My husband and I come here every few months when on our “staycations”. We came and had a server by name of Rafael the first time we tried it out… truly the server made everything10x better… we then liked it and brought the rest of the family for a day drip had a different server (wasn’t the same but wasn’t where we wouldn’t come back) my husband and I just celebrated our anniversary and asked for our first server and to be seated in his area (near the bar) the food is amazing the service is even better. The cheesecake is to die for: I will say the server and service you get makes all the difference in the world. Thank you for an amazing dinner and thank you to our server who made it another memorable weekend. We will be back again for sure
Excellent everything! The crab stuffed pasta was extraordinary and delicious. My wife and I both had it. Went back the next night and she ordered it again! I had linguini Alfredo with shrimp, also delicious! Only negative is they want to charge for soda refills!?! No one does that! If you or your party tend to run warm, get a seat with the fan/fans near or blowing at the table.
We're repeat offenders here, and let me tell you, it's still amazing, even if it's a bit different from four years ago. We got a 15-minute wait, but it flew by. The view by the water? Absolutely stunning, especially during sunset. 🌅 I inhaled the Cioppino, and the pasta (the pasta is an added extra)? Forget about it, I'm still finding noodles in my pockets. 😅 My partner's steak was on point, but sadly, no prime rib this time around. I believe we ordered the prime rib 4 years ago. The servers? Super attentive, almost too attentive. And that margarita? Well, let's just say I'm pretty sure I saw the bartender pouring in the whole tequila bottle, lol. 🍹
I had an outstanding experience at The Wharf in Fort Bragg. Even though it is primarily a seafood place, I ordered a steak and it was absolutely amazing. What really stood out was the service. The bartender went above and beyond by asking the kitchen staff if they would be willing to prepare the steak from the dinner menu even though it was still lunchtime. I have some dietary restrictions and would not have been able to eat otherwise, so that small act of kindness made all the difference. The fact that the staff was so willing to accommodate showed how much they care about their customers. It turned what could have been a difficult dining situation into one of the most enjoyable meals I have had in a long time. The steak itself was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, and it made me look forward to coming back to try more from their menu. On top of the great food and service, the setting could not have been more beautiful. Looking out into the bay while watching fishing boats come and go and seeing sea lions swimming around made the whole experience feel special. It is the kind of view that makes you want to linger a little longer just to take it all in. Between the excellent meal, the thoughtful service, and the incredible atmosphere, The Wharf is a place I would recommend to anyone visiting Fort Bragg.
Dinner on the harbor was very lovely. Service was very fast and friendly. Basic seafood restaurant, no frills, but the view is worth it! Reminder, its in a marina so it smells fishy!! I had the swordfish which was delicious and the tacos which they made as an appetizer for me (too much fish but gave it to my dog) also pet friendly.
Starting with location, The Wharf is literally on top of the water. My girlfriend and I ate on the patio, and we saw sea lions and plenty of fishing boats. We ordered half a bread loaf and calamari as the appetizer. Both items were very tasty and I have no complaints! The calamari also came with a honey mustard dipping sauce that I believe was made in house. We ordered 2 drinks. My gf got a Dirty Shirley with Grey goose strawberry. I ordered an old fashioned with Crown Royal. Both drinks were mixed to perfection. We happily enjoyed our drinks and got a fun but sophisticated buzz. For dinner, I ordered the alfredo with added chicken and bay shrimp. My gf ordered the cioppino with added pasta. The food was absolutely to die for and the portion size was perfect after a long day of walking around town and the beach. The bay shrimp was in both meals and all though it was good, the sheer amount of them kinda threw off thr balance of the meal a bit. All and all amazing food! Our server, Carlos, was very attentive, kind, and funny. Answered all our questions quickly and efficiently! Even took our dessert off the bill! We're definitely coming back and asking for Carlos! It was a great experience!
Came with a large group and the check was easily split (with gratuity automatically added, nbd.) Service was quite fast especially considering our group size. Scallops were cooked absolutely perfectly as was the halibut. The polenta was the perfect texture as were the seafood cakes. There was a good selection of local beers and wines- the smashed kitties dbl hazy and a local hibiscus seltzer were our choices and enjoyable.
Came back 30 years after I was last here as a kid and was delighted. Excellent friendly service, beautiful views, charming original vibes, great food and drinks. Hands-down, the best calamari I have ever had, fresh and delicate. One of the best rye Manhattans my dad has ever had, and excellent virgin Bloody Mary. So good that we tried to come back for lunch the next day, but they were closed on Wednesdays. :) Good that they have a disabled lift available as alternative to stairs, although it was a little hard to find and use.
No reservation was needed, although the website indicated you should call. However, no one answered when you called the number listed. There are 3 dinning areas and we were able to sit by the window. we watched a seal at the end of dinner floating, which looked like a piece of wood 🦭 Dinner we had calamari would love to see a spicy tomato sauce option for dipping. Clam chowder was thick just so so Bread was extra that was fine, but would love it to be warm and maybe more butter or some herb butter too. Linguine was just so so needed more flavor and to be less watery. Crab was an ample serving and was fresh. The fruitta dish was good 2 skewers of shrimp, fish and scallops. Mashed potatoes were so so. Mixed veggies were bland. Long island ice tea had liquor but was yellow with a primary lemon flavor just odd. There is potential at this restaurant that just needs some refinement. Our bill for 4 people with tip included was over $300 👀💲
The food was great! We got the shrimp fettuccine and the fish and chips, with calamari for an appetizer. The service was great too. We got there around 5, so it was a little dead. The prices seemed a little high for the food - with tip it ended up being over $100. The view was great! You also have to go up a flight of stairs to access the restaurant.
The food was soooo good. I don’t have a clear picture but trust me and get the garlic waffle fries. Either I was starving or those are the yummiest fries I’ve ever had. Servers were not very accommodating though, spilled water on our table and didn’t clean it up and no one ever came to take payment from us or give us our bill, we had to ask for everything.
STAY AWAY FOLKS....GO FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO SPEND NEW YEAR'S EVE! This place is terrible. I ordered a $40 steak that had obviously been warmed up in the microwave and never hit the grill. The meat was nearly raw. I tried eating it and couldn't and left 3/4 of it on the plate. There seemed to have been a staff problem. The guy who interacted with us might have been the owner, the cook, bartender, or waiter...who knows. The place was largely empty. As nice as this part of California is, finding decent restaurants is a challenge. The Wharf certainly did not cut the mustard.
