One of my favorite restaurants! I love so many dishes. I have never had anything I didn't love. It's a hole in the wall. The homemade ice cream is phenomenal.
Got fish n chips and chicken panang. Fish n chips were good and the sauces were tasty. Penang was crazy good. Got it three stars and it came with some actual kick. I’ve had worse Penang in thailand. The coconut ice cream was amazing too! Easily the best I’ve had. Soft and light texture with crispy coconut flakes on top. Perfectly sweetened. Would definitely recommend stopping by if you’re feeling like Thai food. hopefully I’ll get an opportunity to come back!
Looks like a dive bar, but looks can be deceiving... I've heard several good compliments on there food and they were right! The owners are from Bangkok and everything is prepared fresh daily as ordered. Unheard of in this time and age of restraunts. We ordered the Pad Thai, Pineapple fried rice, fresh spring rolls,Thai ice-tea and coconut cake. Every thing was fantastic and fresh, one of the best Thai restaurant's I've eaten at. The only thing was the pineapple fried rice lacked seasoning or salt.
Thai food and great drinks to boot! They make my food hot enough and make great drinks as well. Love going down to the corner market while I'm waiting for my food to pick up hard to find items I find there. Friendly bartenders and cooks. Thai food served late in Crescent city . Nuff said.
Everything was delicious. Pa-nang curry was some of the best I've had. Jamie & Bonnie did a great job. Owners do the cooking & their pride shows!
We yelped this place while we were driving to Oregon and i must say the place surprised us with its fresh and authentic food. There is always something special about places where the owner is also a chef. The food is not only good but also has heart in it. Excellent food and highly recommended to all travellers for US 101 who want to stop by for good thai food or good food in Crescent City in general.
Was not expecting to run into such great Thai food in a somewhat random location. The exterior looks like a bar and is a little confusing, but once inside, the staff is friendly and the food is incredible. Had the Pad se ew, even though it wasn't on the menu, the cook made it for us. And also had the chicken larb, which was also awesome.
I love Sea West food. The pandemic has disrupted their restaurant dive in options, but pick up is always available. Their food is made to order, always fresh, hot and delicious.
I love this place...A Thai / Country Western bar and restaurant...What a quixotic relationship.... Genious! The Thai food is original and awesome.. Coon the owner, propieter, chief cook and bottle washer will welcome you with open arms then whip you up the best Thai on the North Coast.
This is the BEST restaurant anywhere ! Fresh homemade food , a special every day and the world's BEST homemade ice cream ! We wanted to eat here EVERY DAY ! This is a must try ! You won't believe how good it is !
Staff is Amazing at Seawest. We Generally eat dinner here 3 or 4 times a month never had a bad meal. Thanks Seawest.
I come here almost every week. The food is great, the service is quick, and the workers are very nice. I would recommend the Vegetable Tempura for anybody looking for new things to try😊
Great Thai food, wonderful service. Coconut ice cream is too die for, so good, so refreshing. You will be glad you stopped in.
Fairly prices with consistently good food. I've never had to wait long for an order. The staff has always been pleasant and accommodating.
Waitress we have is always super nice. Do not know her name but knows what we want to start. Try their banana ice cream. It is the best
Great food, cocktails and service...with a smile. Dining here has that home cooked feel and taste. Love it.
My 8 year old son says if he could give a 20 star review he would, we had a mix of everything and it was all great, fresh and the owner/staff are very friendly. I would highly recommend
Our only restaurant (and bar) in Fort Dick, it serves a variety of Thai and American food. Very friendly people, and we always enjoy our meals there!
We decided to drive out to this little hole in the wall Thai restaurant because the other Thai place was packed. We were not disappointed ! Amazing food. Great service. Everything is fresh made. They even have homemade ice cream and cakes!! We will definitely come back,
Love this place. Pot stickers and yellow chicken curry is my jam, fresh and sweet with a little spice. They also make their own ice cream! Staff is super friendly and since I frequent the same dishes they usually know just what I’ll have before I even order. This is my goto Thai restaurant in the area.
The food was delicious, the service superb, and the atmosphere was very friendly and inviting. So much fun. The Mango Daiquiri was incredible, and Jennifer, the bartender, was fast, efficient, and so hospitable to everyone there. A lovely experience!
This place is literally amazing! The cook is his sister and they are the kindest people around. They’re hardworking. Dedicated and produce quality authentic Thai food. You can’t miss this spot right by the prison. Thank you soo much for such a genuine great meal
Delicious and authentic Thai food served the traditional way. Nicely decorated. Fantastic service, including friendly welcome from the owner himself. Great place!
I have lived less that 2 blocks from here for almost 6 years now, and I have just now tried it. I got the Ginger Beef, it was amazing! However, I should have gotten what my husband got, the Spicy Beef Larb. It was OUTSTANDING!!!! I can't believe I haven't been here before and haven't had this dish before. If you haven't had Been Larb and like spicy (mild) then you will LOVE this, the mint and the lime are the perfect touch. Truly a hidden gem!
My favorite restaurant. Ive been eating there for 33 years!
I am absolutely shocked that I had one of the best panang curries I've eaten in the US here in the middle of nowhere. I ordered the Panang Curry, level 4 heat and added chicken, onion and potatoes. It was excellent, and I've had curry in Thailand. Give this place a try, you won't be disappointed. P.S. the server and the owner are dolls, super kind and friendly. Picture of my leftovers because I couldn't wait to eat it.
This place is a hidden gen the Thai food here is wonderful and the service is fantastic.

Great experience at Sea West 5/13/2021. Food was excellent; menu included American & authentic Thai. My husband had Pad Thai & I had fish (local cod) with tempera vegetables. The location is a short few miles outside Crescent City, CA, snuggled in the redwood forest. I doubt the place has changed much in decades past, adding to the seaside ambience. Full bar, great service, & personal attention made our visit memorable.
This is the most random restaurant/bar. Looks like a dive bar. But then has incredible Thai food, delicious chicken alfredo, awesome burgers. We travel of the coast from SoCal to WA every year and this is 100% a must stop.
Such a sweet place with excellent food. Not only is their Thai food top notch they have some of the best burgers and fries around. They also make delicious homemade baked good from ingredients found in their garden such as their lemon squares. My favorite dish is the pineapple curry and pad Thai second.
They have a Thai dish with prawns & peanut butter sauce that is amazing! The waitress was very friendly and quick. I highly recommend.
Great food. They serve an amazing Coconut Curry Shrimp! Some of my favorite noodles as well. Everything is made with fresh ingredients. The food from here just makes you feel good!!
Fantastic Thai food! Cozy bar atmosphere ☺️
Absolute kicker of a restaurant! Authentic Thai food in the middle of nowhere. Ordered the Chicken Red Thai Curry with a side of white rice, Shrimp Fried Rice and the Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream. Each dish was on the money. We ordered takeout but the bar seemed to be quite the vibe to hang around in. 10/10 recommend if you’re in the area.
Secret treasure of a small community! Delicious Thai and Chinese dishes, and they have tasty homemade ice cream (the coconut is my go-to favorite)! I especially recommend the pineapple curry, Thai drunken noodles, and the cashew chicken. Looks unassuming from the outside, and yes, it is attached directly to a bar, where you can order the food, too. Very convenient and always consistently yummy.
The food at Sea West was excellent. It’s only after we got there we discovered that the two cooks a husband and wife team are actually Thai family. So therefore the cuisine is very authentic. Delicious food would well recommend going there again.
I love this little local place. Always thought it was closed when I drove by but turns out its just a quiet hidden gem. By far the best chicken satay and tom kha soup I've found in the area. Everything I've eaten here has been delicious. Should definitely check it out if you're in town.
Very well our waitres Izzy was VERY very nice. and food was perfect it's a long wait but worth it. I recommend this place!.

Slow. It took over 90 minutes to get our food, but we were warned as there was a party of about 12 and another group of 6 ahead of us. The food, however, was very good.
Fantastic Thai & American entrees as well as appetizers. Stuffed chicken wings coconut pineapple fried rice and homemade ice cream a must have. Scrumptious...
Great food in an unusual location. Pad Thai is great and outrageous home made Cocanut Ice Cream for desert. Service is warm and friendly. Decor is tragic but seems to care.
First experience wasn't the best but gave them another try. Small town so figured why not. Friendly staff and some good food.

Will eat there again anytime. Good food, good service.
Low key and unassuming restaurant with bar next door. Decor is very plain, but the menu is surprisingly large. Cook grows many of the veggies on the menu. Clam strip Appetizer was small, but very tasty, we could find clams as opposed to another restaurant with more ambiance by the jetty Hubby had coconut prawns and the sauce was made from coconut cream, the best sauce we've ever had. I ordered bbq ribs. We had to wait a bit for them, but the portion was large enough to share and meaty and tender. I would go back there again, maybe sit in the bar to eat as to chit chat with locals. Definitely not a glamorous place, but very reasonably priced.

Ordinary food priced high. Water needs to be purchased. Stir fry does not come with rice. Rice needs to be purchased separately. Waitress was kind though. Management needs to revisit pricing.
Server seemed a bit biased. Food was ok, our table was dirty but she just gave us some tissues and made us feel like we were invisible despite having just few guests
Went in to order takeout and ended up waitimw 55 minutes for two orders of chicken wings and a cold salad. The restaurant wasn't even half full and they served two other tables of people dining in who were seated after us (and one of them had the chicken wings). They didn't offer us water while we waited. They didn't apologize for making us wait so long. And they made us pay up frontf otherwise we would've left once we realized they were putting others ahead of us. Will never go back to this horrible restaurant with rude service. If you are getting takeout and not dining in you are put behind the customers dining in here. And the food ended up subpar once we finally got to eat.
I ordered won tons and I swear it was nothing but fried bread,I ordered coconut shrimp and they gave me 6 shrimp for $10 I ordered sweet and sour chicken and they gave me a plate full of veggies with little chicken. I told them I didn't want that and because I wasn't a regular customer they made me pay for it and wouldn't let me trade it out. If your after good chinese I advise that you don't go here
Okay..., I didn't get it either. It's a Thai restaurant which I typically associate with spicy goodness and flavor, none of which I got with the takeout tonight. When my wife and I travel the first places we seek out to eat are local Asian cuisine restaurants. I don't understand how this could be even considered Thai cuisine. The spice and flavor profile was way way off which is surprising. Perhaps it would be better labeled as American style Thai food if there's such a thing. Unfortunately I've visited many Thai restaurants that dumb down the essence of Thai dishes to acclimate American meat and potato pallets! It's not working! Stick to the root of the cuisine please
We loved this place. It has always been a treat to eat here, but the last 2 times we have been ignored by the waitress. Tonight we waited 30 mins before paying for our drinks and leaving as it was clear she had no intention of taking our order. She had to.make sure she got her break, then came back and acted like we weren't in the building. She made sure the other table was getting a dessert order and still refused to look our way and ask if we even wanted to order. I won't be going back again. There are far better places to eat in this area.
