Good taste, unique food choices. Haven’t eaten at a place like this. I think it was a bit pricy but enjoyed our time here.
Visited this restaurant about 4 years ago when on vacation from NY. We were looking for a quick bite and the restaurant was near the hotel. We were blown away by the simplicity of the food and its amazing taste. We returned again and without fail, the food was amazing, the service spotless and the overall experience consistently superior. Definitely a place to visit over and over again. Highly recommended if you’re in the area
They had great food at very reasonable prices. The portions were generous also. Server was very friendly too.
Very Good place. Delicious food. Staff is friendly. Good prices ! Would recommend to anyone that wants to have a good meal !
Visited this restaurant for the first time. Haven’t had Cuban food before. The restaurant has a nice ambience. Had the Meat Fried rice that was on the lunch menu and was very tasty. The only thing was the food was a little too oily.
Went for dinner with some friends. Place was empty but was perfect for me bc I didn't feel rushed. Food was pretty good. The venue is amazing looking.
I'm staying locally at the Hampton Inn and found this place on Google with pretty decent ratings. The food sounded good. I decided to go there. Then I found a discount on Groupon through Google. Even better! The restaurant is extremely clean and the service is very friendly. I got the mixed Seafood with fried rice and garlic. Delicious! Huge serving. I was full but did not want to stop eating. I highly recommend this. Lots of flavor and generous portions of seafood.
The food was amazing! The menu had so much to offer. The Mixed Seafood Ceviche was to die for! The Chicken Tallarin was a phenomenal fusion of Spanish and Japanes cuisine, the Peruvian Chicken was full of flavor with great texture and Bisteca Chorrillana was fantastic... and the sauces were out standing. 1 beer, Ceviche, and 3 entrees out the door, tax and tip included $23 per person, and the service and cleanliness was outstanding! Highly recommend by this foodie!!
A Cuban and Peruvian “fusion” with a rich menu. Great place for a quick and low cost lunch. Attached picture: Pechuga de pollo a la plancha for $7.99. Friendly and energetic staff, clean and comfortable.
The Lechon plate was absolutely delicious and incredibly satisfying! Each bite was flavorful, making it the perfect choice for a hearty meal.

Nice staff, plenty of tables and plenty of parking. I absolutely love their ceviche.
Very good Peruvian food. It is far from Boca Raton but the food has always been good. The Aji de Gallina, chicken in a sauce, and the fish dishes have always been very good. The Lomo Saltado is really good also and the Causa de Pollo and Tuna is great with the Aji de Amarillo sauce. Worth the drive!!!
Sublime, authentic family-run central American fare in a nice, modern updated setting. Loved the Ceviche App. and the oxtail was first rate. Grilled tilapia in garlic cream sauce very subtle and light. Attentive wait staff. Lunch portions extra generous. Worth mapping on the GPS machine. Big thumbs up.
Food is amazing. In addition to the chicken others recommended, we got the beef fried rice (chaufa) which was yummy and had large slices of beef in it that were actually cooked to medium. Those sauces on the table are HOT.
Tomas was an amazing server. We had a group of 12 people and he kept everyone’s orders straight. The food was all delicious. I definitely recommend this place.
Great food and service. Ceviche is fresh and delicious. The Tacu Tacu is really amazing with the Lomo Saltado. We all had the same dish. 3 of us and it was magnifico. Will be back soon as this dish is crave worthy. And the servers are so nice and fast. All smiles.... like they are happy to be there. Well done Cabo Blanco!!!!
The new decor looks so trendy and fresh. Food is great, music is good, and price is reasonable. The servers are friendly and professional. Big menu, hard to decide what to order.
I had the fish and shrimp ceviche and it was mouthwatering. I also had the chicharron de pollo with plantains and rice with black beans! It was so filling, great portions and flavourful! The service was so fast!
Samantha Brown, who used to have a show on the Travel Channel, once said that when looking for a good restaurant in the US, always look in the strip plazas. That’s where first and second generation immigrants tend to open their restaurants, and that’s where the true gems are. That advice has served us well, and Cabo Blanco is no exception. We were staying at the nearby Westin hotel, and popped over for a wonderful dinner. My husband had a mixed seafood grill on fried rice, and I had the Chicken Saltado which came with black beans and rice and fries. The menu is enormous, and I don’t think you can go wrong with any of it, but I decided to get advice from the server. I just told her I wanted chicken and let her decide. Just a terrific meal and lovely gracious people.
This place has an immaculate atmosphere. Food had great flavor not overly salted. A Happy hour you can't beat. Thomas was very attentive. The chefs know what they are doing. If you are looking for great food come here or order from here!!!
This place is great. Good food, service, music, decor, and very clean. All around very pleasant experience. The staff is very friendly, my server Ana was great she made some really fantastic recommendations. I had the lomo saltado
The menu is a mix of Cuban and Peruvian fare. Our waiter explained almost every dish on the menu for us. The service was quick and they kept our drinks filled. The starter bread and spicy sauces are wonderful. The meats were prepared very well and were seasoned generously. The prices are also very reasonable. Most meals are around $8-10 and are more than enough for one person.
The food came really fast, and was well cooked and seasoned. The ceviche was beautifully made and the presentation of everything was really pretty as well. My husband and I will be going back very soon!
First time I went here. Its Peruvian food so great for seafood lovers... this day I got the Chicken wit Garlic sauce.. came with white rice and chicken noodle soup... everything was really good... that garlic sauce is almost like soup so good you can eat it by itself .. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Had no idea what I was gonna eat just didn't want American food. I mean Hey! I'm in Florida. So I was looking for any different restaurant and I found Cabo Blanco. Great atmosphere and delicious food all at a good price. If your ever traveling through town here like me, this is a good place to relax from the business trip and have a good meal that can take you elsewhere for the moment....
First time here for a late night munchies. Delicious food and quick service. Owner is super nice too
I love the lomo saltado there. Food is always good.
We went to celebrate my brother in law birthday. Food was good ( didn't have the green spaghetti) but the young boy wich name start with E was very good trying to offer another food from the menu. We will come back!
Hidden gem, nice atmosphere and very authentic food. I ordered the chef seafood soup and it was very good, flavors and plenty of fish. I can't wait to come back and try other items on the menu.
just ate here with my dad & sister. affordable prices and the food & selection of sauces were sooo good. got the fried chicken chunks with rice & beans & onions, got full really quick. love this place. atmosphere is great, decorations are amazing. definitely would recommend.
Today, I had an unforgettable meal with my family at this restaurant that felt like a celebration of flavor and connection. The ceviche was a revelation — bright, fresh, and perfectly balanced, especially with the addition of yuyo, which added a briny, ocean-kissed depth that made each bite sing. The lomo saltado followed, rich and comforting with tender beef, sautéed vegetables, and crispy fries that brought warmth and joy to the table. Every dish felt like a love letter to Peruvian cuisine, and the atmosphere made it all the more special. I left feeling nourished in every sense of the word and can’t wait to return — this place is a gem worth sharing.
Cute atmosphere! Service was fast I barely waited for my food and it was delicious. Their lunch specials are the best and a great deal when stopping by for a quick lunch break !
Outstanding, unpretentious, family owned restaurant. Authentic and delicious food served by the sweetest family. If you’re in the mood for quality ingredients mixed with smiles and love then this us your new fav restaurant

I usually come to this place when I visit fort Lauderdale but this time I wasnt feeling it. I got the lomo and pork chunks and it tasted like freezer burn steak tips. The pork was decent but nothing great. Prices have gone up but thats just the business. Waiter could had been more friendly and check on us to see if the food was ok or if we need it drinks.
Very clean, sleek decor. Ample selection of Peruvian dishes with emphasis in fish and seafood dishes. Good food and service. I will only lower the volume of the techno music. Other than that is a very good place to eat Peruvian food.
Chicken chunks, black beans and rice. Fried - not too hard. Could have had a little bit more seasoning but they do give you sauce options. The beams are seasoned well. Enjoyed.
Cabo Blanco offers a wide variety of Peruvian dishes to suite any craving. From steak to chicken to fish every dish is prepared fresh and full of flavor. The inside is always clean and well managed, staff is always friendly and willing to make suggestions. Worth checking out for lunch or dinner or to grab a quick glass of wine and a few appetizers.

VERY VERY VERY disappointed!! we have been going to this location for a few months since they closed the Oakland park location, and tonight was worse than the last time which was pretty bad too. we ordered a carryout and the order wasn't complete, and the portion was all rice... lomo saltado had only 3 little pieces of meat, no beans, but a container full of rice.!!! we called to complain and the person didn't care at all, just said next time.. next time... well buddy, there won't be a next time!! YOU should care more and offer to make it right THIS TIME!!! Time to find a new Peruvian place, they're everywhere so really their loss.... Ok, update... I decided to give them another try and they knocked it out of the park!! The portion was for an adult this time and taste was AMAZING!! Yep, I gave them 3 more stars... They're moving in the right direction, and will try again soon.
I must admit that the food was very delicious. Fast and friendly environment, excellent service from the start. Extensive menu of foods, nominal prices that won't break your wallet. Clean and friendly facilities.
Good food, but missing authenticity. Not sure why Cuban food is in the menu, yet they’re marketed as a Peruvian restaurant. They should focus on the latter… the lunch prices and portions are very good though
I like this place because it's conveniently located. It's fair to say that it's more attractive inside than the view from the street. I ordered the ceviche mixto while my guest had the lomo saltado. A safe, reasonably priced ceviche restaurant in our neighborhood!
It was good for a nice little place. Kind of wish their prices were slightly better than what was to be offered, however, the food was good. People were nice. Give it a look if you're in the Pompano/Cypress Creek area.
Had the beef chaufa, rice was good, beef had no flavor, so, it wasn't at all what I expected. I won't order that dish again. On the other hand, the grilled chicken breast was really good.
A nice place that you may just miss. The menu is extensive and wait staff is nice. Service can be slow which isbwhybthey lost a star. I do go here often though so something you plan for.
I loved the food and great variety. Bathroom needed help and music could be soft or none. Also, location was not the best. But overall very nice.
Great food. Ceviche was delicious. Grilled octopus was a bit small for an entree, but tasty nonetheless! Attentive staff. Clean. Really nice inside - better than you'd expect for strip mall location.
The restaurant is simple but the Peruvian food is great and service is always good (professional yet friendly). They accommodate small changes to regular orders. I have tried different menu options and all were great.
The food was good. It was "no-frills", but tasty. The inside of the place looked clean and crisp, but we took our food to go. They also had a bar inside that looked nice so I may check that out next time.
The food is great, very good presentation and the flavor will not disappointe you. Prices are very reasonable. We sat by the wall close to a tv which was a bit loud while there was music playing. That took away a star in my book. Otherwise excellent.
The Chicken fracasé was not good. They give you a quarter leg with what looked like they just opened a can of tomato paste and put it on top. No real flavor. The tallarin verde also had no flavor. This coming from a Peruvian customer.
Our entrées were good (flavorful, god portion size); however, it was difficult ordering because the staff spoke only Spanish. One star deduction because we ordered the picarones for dessert, but rather than real picarones (sweet-potato-based dough), they were simply canned biscuits they threw in the fryer.
Delicious little place- Staying at the Westin down the street for a meeting- tried this place out because of the good google rating and it did not disappoint. Bar is beer and wine only but the food was good and the service was fast and polite. Large variety of traditional Peruvian and Cuban food.
The sauce was rated 7/10. At almost $20, Pescado a lo macho was quantity over quality, it will fill you up, no doubt. Environment wise is family oriented with plain and simple decoration. Staff is friendly but new waitress needs more training on peruvian dishes and their contents. Overall is a good place to eat. The reason that it gets 3 stars only is because they added the tip for 2 people and the taste of the plate was ok.

Sometimes the food is very good sometimes it's just ok. Not consistent.
I use to love this place but recently at this one, the food I’ve been getting tastes a lot like old oil, we give it a month or so before we eat there every time and every month is the same. Other than that service is good and the place is beautiful.
The dinner came with two sides. I asked for fried yuca and beans. He kept asking me if i wanted rice. It came with what i asked for but with a lot of french fries as well. Guess he though because I'm a gringo, i must like fries. However, they were drowned in the juices that came with dish. So, the fries got soggy. I ordered the shrimp with onions and tomatoes. All was good besides the soggy fries. Gave it 3 stars because price could ve better.
Mixed experience. The "leche de tigre" and "cau cau" were good. But the "tallarín Verde" is on the salty side but not bad. But this restaurant gets 3 stars because the "tres leches" dessert was terrible. Server was very nice.
Isn't how it use to be few years back. It's still okay but so not worth the price they now ask for. The portions went down and flavor is bit more bland.
Oddly empty at 7 on a Friday night. We just missed 99 cent beer happy hour. Waitress was friendly. Food was good. Really extensive menu, it took us a while to read it all and decide. Portions are large; the fried rice is probably 5 cups.
Ordered the rotisserie chicken. It was not as tasty as I was expecting. Chickent was dry and lacking flavor. The sides were ok. I didn't order rice and beans but they sent it anyway so that was a plus. The huancaina sauce was very thick.
The food was bland and somewhat fatty tasting. I had the oxtails. Before I prepare my oxtails I trim the fat and if leaving a good amount of fat, season up nicely and fry really well before cooking. Other than that the atmosphere and service was good. Thanks for lunch.
I used to love this place but when I went back unfortunately the food was just okay. I used to love coming to this place for lunch I am not sure what happened. Food wasn't seasoned as well as it used to be it seemed rushed. Maybe I went on a bad day but I do not think that I will be going back. I would at least give it one try if it were new to me
Rice is too hard not authentic as my husband is peruvian and ifykyk. He thought it was a one off so we've been back several times. It feels like the chef isnt peruvian bc doesn't taste authentic.
Food was dry and over cooked. Had the bistec empanizado and almost choked to death. My buddy had the fried pork and couldn’t even swallow it. Don’t recommend eating here. The water was the best part.
Lomo saltado to go doesn’t come with side of the juice . Being cheap there …. Tallarin verde had piece of plastic inside . The prices are good but you get what you pay for .
Very difficult to understand the meals, ordered what I thought was an appetizer plate and had 3 massive mugs of chevice. Too much line for one person to handle. Would be better of if they explained what is being served. Meals were...OK at best.
Food was plain. The ceviche was good. The churrasco was not the temperature we order but the waiter never came back to check on us. The chimichurri was not garlicky enough. And no flavor on the pollo frito. No wonder we're the only ones in the restaurant. Will definitely not come back.
Ordered take out yesterday and it was so so So bad! I got aji de gallina and arroz chufa, both seemed like they were missing ingredients. I’m Peruvian and I frequent the Cabo in Hollywood so this was a huge disappointment. Messing up a staple like arroz chufa is wild, there was no egg in it… SAD
I asked for a little more juice on my fish ceviche and the manager told me that he need to low the cost because he is sending Uber delivery. He was the only one talking and never let me explain my problem

What a shame! This used to be one of our fav. Spots for Peruvian breakfast. The food was still the same portions are smaller which I don't mind because they were huge before but what a horrible service. You don't feel welcome, you get stared, attitude not friendly at all. We will def. Not be coming back here hope they can get ppl to treat clients better. If you don't like to work with ppl then don't work at a restaurant!
The women behind the counter we're extremely rude. I don't speak Spanish, they don't speak English, I made my order, they gave me some red meat in sauce... I don't eat red meat, I ordered the shrimp so I thought. Instead of making it right they proceeded to try and argue with me and charge me again for shrimp. Customer service.... thee worst.
1 STAR, because I have NOT had your food yet. I want to know if you have Aji de Gallina-Pieces of shredded chicken in a yellow and cheese sauce, served with potatoes, white rice, and pecans on the MENU? I LOVE that dish!
Food is great !!! However please take it to go! They do not have AC and it was 95 outside. Inside was like 100. Plus the service is awful, super slow and not very friendly. What a shame that a place with such a great food has these problems.
1 star! Customer service is like their food, terrible. Called owner to help with my order, he said not my problema
They got my order wrong on not one, but two separate occasions. I ordered two salads to go with the meal.... the lettuce looked like it was left out for two days on the sidewalk. They didn't explain their side orders correctly and gave me something I didn't ask for, then tried to explain it to me like I was stupid in broken spanglish. I will NEVER order from this place again ... EVER!!!!!
Doors are locked and it says they are open from 11am. There is a lady wiping the tables and just signal me that is closed.
No AC!! 🥵🥵🥵 I love the food and they have an excellent service. However I am giving this please one star, because it’s impossible to enjoy a good meal when it’s 90° inside the restaurant and no air flowing Really? The owner really needs to consider replacing the air-conditioner because for the past month this is the fifth time I have been to this restaurant and there is no AC. Would I go back to this please not anymore unless they tell me they replaced the AC. In Florida this is a must come on... In a sunny day it feel better outside than inside this restaurant. UNBELIEVABLE. 👎🏼
Do not order take out or Uber eats. To be honest dont eat here at all - the ají de gallina was watery more like a soup, chicken was tasteless. Ceviche and lomo saltado gave my family members food poisoning and they vomited. DONT waste your $$ here order from embarcadero or Mr ceviche.
On Mother’s Day my daughter and I got food poisoning from the ceviche. They have a female cook now that doesn’t know how to cook well. Two weeks ago we ordered and she was cooking and the Ceviche wasn’t great. We figured we try again since the food had been good for the past two years, and BAM 💥 we were sick. And, I got my wallet stolen at the register!!! After reading reviews below, I realize now that a customer didn’t steal it the server who was back and forth at the register took it!! They didn’t want a scene and totally disregarded me!!! Never again!!!
Bad Customer Service ESPECIALLY To None Hispanic Customers!!! I have been there more than once with some friends and each time we were treated differently because we didn't speak there language. The waitress continue to eye us and make comments to the other worker's about us and kept giving us mean looks!!! The last time I went with my friends they ordered a full meal and I just purchased a appetizer and the waitress got upset because I didn't order a full meal!!! NO RESPECT FOR CUSTOMERS AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE YOU WILL BE TREATED WITH RESPECT!!!
Terrible! Visited tonight for a Peruvian friend birthday and disappointment is served in every dish. The service is terrible but the price is very high. Also, they charge you gratuity directly from the check so they assume that they deserve the pre charged tip. I saw so many recent good reviews and was excited to try the great Peruvian food but they could turn it into a disaster. Don’t waste your time!
Been getting food here for years. Great food but horrible unprofessional staff and we’re finally done. They were out of oxtail when we ordered through Uber Eats most recently and instead of rectifying the issue for us they ignored our calls multiple times when we tried to change our order! Sad too, because we’ve always loved their food but you have to treat your long time customers better.
I ordered Aji de gallina for take out and they served old food. Wasn't made fresh at all. Old rice, old chicken. You can tell because of lack of moisture. The sauce was also very sticky. Not smooth at all like it's supposed to be. Wouldn't order from here again. If you want to waste your money, order from them. I would NOT recommend.
Service was good. But overseasoned food and smelly seafood. Wife got an allergic reaction after dinning which NEVER happened before and we eat Peruvian food frequently. Very poor quality of seafood used, my kid choked on stringy uncooked seafood. And finally didn't like the fact that gratuity was automatically added to the bill, which we gave an additional $9 tip + 15% of $73 that was added as tip... We will never come back, even though service was good. If you are not familiar with Peruvian food, you'll like this place and if you are Peruvian, read the reviews that are from non peruvians it should tell you a lot...
I used to Love this place is Food was superb. But now. Is a Big NoNoNo!!!! 1. Food Don't taste the same 2. Portions are smaller 3. Service was not up to par 4 waiter forgot to put 2 items I ordered in and never bring to table. Totally disappointed 😞 I I USED TO COME HERE AT LEAST 2 TIMES A MONTH BUT TODAY WAS MY LAST TIME HERE...
I decided to go with my family for my birthday and it was a total disappointment. We ordered aji de gallina and papa a la huacaina to try and decide if we wanted more food. The papa a la huancaina was awful, it was spicy (normally is not ) the aji de gallina was bad and the chicken wasn't shredded at all and It tasted like peanuts. The chicha was too sweet. I wouldn't call this restaurant Peruvian food. The table and menus were disgustingly sticky. The waiter was not properly dressed and groomed and didn't know the dishes.
This place is 2 minutes away from my house. I always order for pickup because their waitresses have the worst attitude. Always on their phones, and talk to you like you're keeping them from doing so. The food is good. But it's overpriced given it's not authentic Peruvian seasoning. You want good Peruvian food try Bravo Gourmet in Oakland Park. I leave this review because I just picked up food and they wouldn't give me change back because they're out of change. I only know this because I had to ask otherwise she thought I'd walk away without telling me why. This is the service I am referring to.
-NOT RECOMMENDED- We ordered churrasco, salchipapas, anticuchos, leche de tigre and lomo saltado (How can you go wrong with lomo saltado, right?) Flavors are NOT Peruvian. It was cuban cuisine instead, which was very disappointing since the menu is based on Peruvian dishes.
I have always given it 5 stars and if there were more I would give it more stars bc always love their food, but I don't know if they changed cooks or owners or what happened but everything I ordered today and went to pick up was really disgusting not even the Huancaína It has a Huamcaína flavor. I would sincerely like to know why the food drastically changed, but I think I will not order there anymore.
