Chow Time Buffet on Commercial in Fort Lauderdale is super duper delicious. Fresh sushi, salad bar, wonderful and popular Asian dishes. Fast, friendly service. There's nothing like it anywhere. Definitely 5 ⭐'s. 💯
This buffet is really nice do you have everything all you can eat this place is really nice i’m definitely coming back to this buffet
What a great restaurant! Food is very good, well-prepared, service is great, AMAZING value for price. We dined there and the buffet has a great selection.
Fast, great assortment, delicious... I could go on but perfect for the moment. Really hit the spot

Staff was courteous and worked quick. Large sushi selection and the cooked food was very tasty. Would recommend
Pretty good buffet and grill. Lots of food options and food gets refreshed quite often, so its nice and hot. Wait staff pretty quick to pick up dirty dishes. Great price too, will definitely make this a stop whenever we're in town.
It was my family and I , first time here and it was absolutely amazing from the sushi, hibachi, the buffet style foods! It was very fresh and authentic tasting. It’s such a wonderful price for eating so good!!5 We got to sit wherever we wanted and even brought our stroller inside with no problem. We had a whole section to our selves, granted it wasn’t so busy but we loved it and can’t wait to come again!!!
This has one of the best Buffet's in the greater Fort Lauderdale area. It has sushi it has Chinese American style it has Mongolian pick and cook your own noodles every kind of Chinese American chicken that you can think of. It also has a very big dessert buffet. We've been back three different times and haven't tried everything. Definitely gets five stars for me. 😎
Place is great. Staff are nice, quick, and attentive. Place was really clean and even though it was really busy. Everything was quickly re-filled. Food was very tasty. Lots, like I mean LOTS of food options. Many desserts, lots of sushi, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian and also raw and cook fish ones too and also fried and non fried ones too. And that’s just sushi. Lots of different types of shrimps, coconut shrimp, shrimp salad, hot & spicy shrimp, and just boiled shrimp. They also had crab when I went there. If the food choices are not enough (which I think they are) you can make your of food by collecting the raw foods that you want to be cooked and stand in line to the Hibachi line and they cook it for you (unlimited times). When I went there the price was $13.49 which was a Sunday dinner. But I think it was really really worth it since there were a lot of food choices. I definitely recommend it for everyone and if I have a a chance again I would definitely go back.
Five stars for being best in its category in our book. The hokey name belies its surprisingly classy value. It’s clean, popular and good to great in quality. They seem welcoming of all ethnicities. There are 6 main dining areas. We prefer the two on the outside because they seem more upscale and calmer. The servers are good. If you’re on an Atkins diet, Keto diet or paleo diet you can still eat here, I think. You can choose raw veggies and meats of all kinds and have them cooked to your liking. Excellent: ebi sushi (shrimp sushi, and it’s always super fresh here), the stir fry bar and stir fry sauces; the steak; the Asian cake and star cookies with filling. Good: Pretty much everything else on the hot bars. Off-putting: the pale iceberg lettuce, fake bacon bits and dressing choices on the salad bar. But I still give it five stars because who’s coming here for salad anyway? We come here about once every two months and bring friends here. Great place to eat and celebrate life.
They had a great selection of different types of foods and the building is extremely spacious and why would full of seats you were there Wednesday so maybe Wednesday is not as crowded so I'd recommend that day I'm impressed that the selection of three to four different types of shrimp I'm a big fan of shrimp however the Wong Tong shrimp was dry. I still would recommend this place because of the staff doing very pretty as helpful and they smiled and enjoy the company of my nephew which is 5 months old. Happy staff plenty of food
I was pleasantly surprised by this place. We started to go to buffets because everyone in my family has a different food allergy or doesn't want this or that. We came in on a busy Sunday night and were seated right away. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food selection was great, hibachi bar, seafood, sushi, and lots of other food I wish they'd offer a wider dessert selection, but I wouldn't take a star because of it.
Service always great.clean.plenty of different types of food, salad, desserts.i am very happy for this establishment.
My wife & I dined at Chow Time this evening because we wanted some Chinese food but didn't want take out & didn't want to break the bank on some of these expensive buffets, so we found Chow Time. We were slightly intimidated by the amount of people waiting in line but this place is a well oiled machine. We were seated in about 10 mins, quickly greeted & brought drinks. Our waiter, I believe his name was Feng, was prompt on refills & clearing the table. I had egg drop soup, sushi, various Chinese items and dessert. Everything was hot & fresh. When items were missing it was restocked quickly and everyone was very polite. Our check was $30 & we had hot tea & Pepsi to drink. Sometimes the waiters may walk by when you're calling their name but don't take offense, the place can get a bit loud. Our experience was excellent, the restaurant is clean & we will be back. Thank you Chow Time.
The food is good and fast. If you leave 75% food on the plate, you'll have to pay extra for it. There's a section where the cook make your own food. Mango ice cream is the best.
I great dinner at Chow Time the hostess sat me immediately! There are several selections of chicken the grilled was my favorite no bones very tender fresh and taste like the grill! They have giant fresh prawns lightly fried with salt and pepper seasoning great with fresh lemon!! The tiny little brownies cakes were heavenly whoever makes them they are delicious!!
I just finished lunch and here is the bottom line: 1. The restaurant is nicely decorated and new *****. 2. The service is fast and friendly *****. 3. If you love shrimp done just about every way imaginable *****. 4. Hibachi is *****. 5. Chicken selections *****. 6. They lose a star because although the sushi **** looks very appetizing, the rice is not seasoned and not sticky. I would do less rolls and put more effort into preparing it better even if it means reducing the number of choices. Keep it simple. Overall, I enjoyed my dining experience and recommend it to anybody that likes Asian buffets. It's a winner.
Ok it’s not the absolute best Chinese food I’ve ever had but it’s really really good. And plenty of it. So you can take a slow walk around and find your favorites and then go in. Don’t take too much on the first pass- leave room to try new things. All of the favorites are there. The wonton soup is so flavorful! (I was really expecting dish water) but the broth and the wontons were wonderful. I tried the hibachi. A large selection of extras to add in. Tasty! They replenish things quickly and often so everything is very fresh. A fun place for a group of friends and so very economical!

This buffet is worth more than the cost.Variety is extensive with many choices . No wonder there are always a good number of customers no matter the time of day.
The venue was clean, and spacious. Nice ambience. The food was delicious and good value for the money spent. I would visit next time I'm in Florida.

Chow Time in Tamarac is a great affordable option for large groups or families. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and well-kept, with friendly and efficient service that makes dining here easy and pleasant. While the food isn’t particularly flavorful or high-quality, it’s consistent, fresh, and there’s a good variety to choose from—especially for the price. Overall, a good value spot when you want something convenient, casual, and budget-friendly.
The food was fresh. A lot of choices. The place was huge. The price can't be beat. A standard Chinese buffet. No specific dishes to recommend. Hopefully you can find some dishes you like.
This was my first time here the food was actually good it was hot and fresh. The grill is the best part,I honestly did not care for the food at the buffet they had a lot of selection but not very tasty. They brought out the whole fried shrimp fresh and hot but it did not taste good at all I was disappointed. The crab legs were actually very good and well seasoned. I didn’t like how the grill area is right next to the bathroom and the raw ingredients are a few feet away from the grill. I also noticed that the floors were sticky and that was a bit of a turn off for me . Our waitress was ok but when we paid she counted the money in front of us so there was definitely a lack of etiquette on her part . Overall it was decent, but I’ve been to better buffets. I’m glad I tried it but I’m not going back.
First timer at Chow Time. We arrived at noon on a Saturday and it was not busy when we arrived but by the time we left, it was very busy at the buffet line. The buffet is $17.99 all day. They had everything in the buffet from sushi to Chinese favorites, to salad to pizza to desserts. There was a nice selection of raw meats that you could select for the hibachi. The layout of all the different buffet stations made for an easy flow and no lines. Serving trays were consistently full during my visit. Hot food could have been warmer but it is a buffet after all. They serve beer and wine. They want to make sure that you do not waste, so they will charge you $8.99 a pound if you leave food on your plate. Service was efficient, our dirty plates were removed, timely, and our drinks were filled before they were empty. The restaurant is lean and well maintained. There are COVID signs on the buffet reminding everyone to wear masks, no one was. I recommend a visit to Chow Time when in the area.
Great value for lunch. Some of the food is not to correct/safe temperature, but overall i'd recommend. They have plenty of meat options and a few vegetarian options. Great banana pudding, veggie lo mein, and hibachi station.

Normal eat here and things go well for a buffet. Today the waitress didn't remove any of the dirty dishes. 08/09/25. not much new to report here. pretty much status quo, however. they did remove dishes regularly.

This particular chow time branch is fantastic! I have been going here since they opened a few months ago. The food is delicious and they have such a variety as well. Some dishes include shrimp, crawfish, mussels, chicken dishes, beef dishes, ribs, pot stickers, noodles, rice and so much more! They also have, what I think, to be an amazing sushi selection and hibachi. The food is always fresh and abundant. After you’re done, grab some dessert! The restaurant is always clean and the service is wonderful. I personally have never had an issue. The decor is lovely as well. A little piece of china in every corner. For the price, I think eating here is a great deal! Not to mention the fact that you can do take out and pay by the pound. This has come in very handy for those nights you are exhausted from work and want something other than fast food. I have them 4 stars because even though there is a large variety of things to chow down on, it can get a little monotonous. It would be nice if they changed it up once a week and offer something a little different. Other than that, I would recommend eating here! Great location and lots of parking!
I was very impressed on how fresh the food taste and looked. Great variety of food and a far better presentation than most buffets. They had everything you can think of. Egg rolls, sushi bar, grill in the back where you can pick your own fresh ingredients from. Ice cream, pies, pastries and much more. Young boy (14 years old) that greets you at the door is very respectful and has a great sense of humor. Prices are extremely fair to me as well, however the reason I gave it four stars is because the bathrooms were horrific. Trash and napkins every where and I’m always nervous about places who don’t really clean the bottom of the toilets because it makes me think that they only spot clean and you wonder how clean are they are in the back of the house. Nevertheless I will be back. Lol
90% of food, soups and desserts were fresh, edible and tasty that's a high percentage for a buffet 😋 they would've gotten 5 stars but 2 tea bags in a huge 32 oz chinese tea kettle was pathetic that's all on the server. Hope she reads this and not using my race or any other reason for the only 15% tip she got 😎
The food was good. Nice selection of foods. The fried crabs are A+. The grill has workers who do not understand english, so explaining how you want your food cooked is hard. Replenishing the buffet food sometimes takes a while. Sushi bar is 4 for me. The appearance and freshness are a no for me. They never have the raw oysters like they say they do. The service is OK. The ladies that seat you always seem to be annoyed or aggravated. But all and all, it's a great place to dine.
Food was fresh and tasty. The sushi and the hibachi is very good! I would’ve gave this place 5 stars if the server would’ve did the bare minimum. The host sat us down and got us our drinks. Our server never came to our table to get the empty plates and I had to get his attention to get me a refill. Please get a manager to teach this young man the art of being a server. It don’t take much to get empty plates and ask for refill. That’s the least you can do. This was the first time I did not tip EVER because he truly didn’t deserve one.
The food is beautifully display. It's a little heavy on the breading but that's my personal opinion. Some may not think that. The waitresses are professional almost to the point of being curt. However they are courteous. No chit chat there. But it's ok as it is a buffet and you are serving yourself. We enjoyed ourselves, ate good food and had a nice conversation with each other. We will probably go back one day or evening.
Let's face it it's all you can eat, and as it goes you sure do get a lot. Unfortunately for me I did not enjoy the crabs as they had a ammonia smell to them. On the other hand I love shrimps with heads they were delicious and fresh. The servers are quick and friendly and kind. I know it's a tough job so I always over tip them. I will go there again as I love shrimp the sushi for me is okay. I love the variety of soups it would be nice if they had a carving area with a roast of some sort which is lacking go if you're hungry the quality is okay at times. I will go again. Enjoy
Hey, it is a typical Chinese buffet. Lots of seafood here. We went at a little after 1pm on a Friday and most of the food appeared to be fresh and most of the stations were clean and neat. Lunch for two, one beer and an iced tea was under $40 including tip. We'll, we were both seniors so got the $1 discount. While clean, the furniture is beginning to look a bit worn and tired. Not a terrible place for lunch if you are hungry. The sushi alone is worth the price.

Food was great. Excellent variety and the food was fresh.
This buffet has the most variety when it comes to food choices. They have everything from Chinese food to American to Japanese. They have a huge BBQ grill and a Hibachi grill where you can pick your own meats and vegetables. They also have a Noodle bar, where you can select your own noodle, meat, and vegetables. This Buffet definitely deserves a 5 star but the customer service is just horrible. I found a piece of hair in one of the fruits and told the waiter about it and all she did was walk to the front desk with it and walked back into the room like nothing happened. Usually when this happens a waiter shouldn’t just act like nothing had happened. THERE IS A HAIR IN MY FOOD!! Very disappointed in the customer service but overall a great Buffet.
I believe this is my second time coming here. Whoever is making the sushi they deserve 5 stars. One of the best sushi I've ever had very fresh and delicious. This is a fairly new place and I'm not really sure why the food is on the cold side from the hot Steamers. maybe they need to check into that that was very disappointing. Now the waiters or waitresses are not very attentive you literally had to chase them down to come and clean the table or to remove dishes or for refills. I truly believe the sushi is what saved them and I think that's the only reason why I would come back.
Went for lunch, food was good. After we paid we stayed for a few minutes to talk. We paid by card and wanted to leave a cash tip. When the lady came back and grabbed the receipt and saw we wrote cash tip but the tip wasn't in the little black book she came back and flipped out for not leaving a tip even though the cash was on the table while we finished talking.
The food was okay, but I expected more. The sushi was the most disappointing—the rice kept falling apart, the flavors didn’t blend well, and honestly, even sushi from a 7/11 in Asia would taste better. The fried noodles were enjoyable since you can pick your own ingredients and have them cooked in front of you, and the shrimp dishes were definitely the highlight—they tasted fresh and flavorful. On the other hand, the steak was tough and chewy, the pastries were dry and flat in taste, and the Sprite tasted more like tap water than soda. The ice cream selection was good with plenty of flavors, though scooping was a bit difficult because of the glass cover in the way. On the bright side, the service was attentive—the waiter was quick to bring drinks and clear our plates. Overall, I’d give this restaurant ⭐⭐⭐ (3 out of 5). It has some standout dishes like the shrimp and noodles, but most of the food didn’t meet expectations.
It is Buffett, some things are fresher than others. Servers bring drinks and are pretty quick to come around. They do hibachi and have sushi. They also have Chinese dishes some better than others
The food was good, they have a lot of selection but some items lack flavor. One problem when it came to desert their cheesecake was not a cheesecake. It's like a layer of some creamy thing on top of a slice of sponge cake. Besides that the atmosphere was good, the place was very full but they kept refilling all the food trays quickly.
Food was good. Some of it was bland but overall good. I only gave 1 star for the service because of the lady that assisted my table. She made me very uncomfortable. She kept following me and coming to my table for absolutely nothing. She stood over me and watched me count my $$. I walked away and went back to my table. She followed directly behind. Very weird.
I used to come here often as this was around the corner from my house, but I have since moved twice and now I’m about 10 minutes away, so I pop in and out of this location. I have not had any issues. I’ve always been seated right away, my drinks on the table by the time I get back from the buffet and I typically always get the same waitress and she’s always super nice and attentive. I used to eat the buffet a lot, but now I do the hibachi, I love the fact that it’s almost fresh food being cooked in front of me and seasoned how I like it. I do get a few things from the buffet like the fried crabs, that is my favorite part, some shrimp, sushi, egg rolls, things like that. I was pretty bummed to read on Yelp about the discrimination against black people and how the manager have African Americans pay their bill as soon as they are seated and not after the meal like every non black person does, even though that’s never happened to me and my family, as an Afro Caribbean person that was pretty hurtful. And I do get the area that we are in and unfortunately a lot of African-Americans like to run out on the bill but that’s not us all on a whole and l to blatantly discriminate against black men coming in for lunch on their lunch break and racially profiling them is definitely wrong and I don’t think that I can support a business that can outright do that. There was a elite woman who stepped up and spoke up about the situation and kudos to her for being a voice on their behalf. We need more people like you in the world. Chow time, shame on you.!
I pretty much tried a little bit of everything. Mainly enjoyed the salmon and tuna sushi. The general T’sao’s chicken & bourbon chicken were probably the best out of the chicken styles that they had. The barbecue pork was not my thing extremely chewy. Had a hard time putting that one down. I just typically call it the awesome awful buffet. Sometimes awesome sometimes awful. If I was starving and in a pinch, I would probably eat there again. The fried rice could’ve been better. The lo mein could’ve been better. The dumplings were fine. It’s just one of those things that you never know what you’re gonna get.

Food selection is good. Unfortunately after being open for a while the place is dirty!!! Broken faucets with screws, watered down soap and dirty walls. Obviously the owner does not want to invest in this business. If this is what costumers see I can’t imagine how they handle and store the food in the back..!! I would not recommend this place as of now!!!
The waitresses are rude! They dont like to speak to you or smile until they bring the check. They demand higher tips and try to block you in your booth until you give them the amount they want. Even tried to reach for my husband pocket like she was going to take the money. The 3 of us only had water, no refills and it's a buffet so she didn't have to serve us. We gave a $6 tip, she said you need to give more, I have problems. And kept bullying my husband until he gave her $12. She wanted $20. If it wasn't a buffet and we actually were being served, we normally tip at around 25% or more. Also, I walked to her stand and asked for claw crackers for the crab, I followed her to the room where they get drinks and supplies. She reached in the dirty dish sink and grabbed a pair, wiped it on a napkin and handed it to me. I declined and went back to my seat. She said it's clean, I wiped it off! The food is kind of hit and miss. Some items were good, some not so much.
Extremely overpriced. I paid $47 for myself and my 10-year-old daughter, and the food quality was poor. Very limited, mediocre options that did not justify the cost.
Got to say, it’s not my favorite. The selection is diverse, and some of the things have unique flavors. Most of it is salty or sweet and all is very carb-y which appeals to some people. My favorite thing was the green beans! What I found about the majority of food is that there’s no love in it. When someone who’s making food puts their heart into it, you can taste that love. This place has no love. This place is about serving large quantities of food to large quantities of people for a cheap price. Another customer told me to pick the imitation crab and not the stinky sushi. I had to tell her sushi isn’t supposed to stink if it’s fresh. Sure enough most of the nigiri stunk like fish and I did not choose to try those. Much of the “hot” food was cold. The noodles were bland. The cooked blue crab, which I was very excited about had a sweet flavor on the outside, unfortunately, the wonderful chunks of meat on the inside may have been overcooked because their texture was that of mush. The crawfish’ flavor was watered down. There was a honey shrimp selection which was way too sweet. The barbecue pork looked good and sadly had the texture of leather. The desserts all looked prepackaged. A lot of the food I honestly had to spit out and I went there absolutely starving. I left hungry. We were sat in a room with no decorations, no TV and no windows. It was a weird space, not inviting or enjoyable whatsoever. This place was huge and all the rooms had people in them so people clearly do like this place, however, I am not one of them.
Overall, despite the variety everything was not palatable, the food was bland, no salt and lacked flavor. The majority of customers who frequent this restaurant are seniors so that would explain why. I’ll stick to Kings Super Buffet on Oakland Park Blvd.
Some of the waiting staff were rude and impatient. The restaurant was said to close at 10:30. We were there around 8:30. They cut the TVs off at 9 in the sections we were seated. Before we could finish our meals they came to pick up and take our plates and brought us our checks before we could ask for it or signal we were done. They sat and watched us as we ate waiting for us to finish then proceeded to sort and clean silverware in the dining area where we were making it loud and uncomfortable for us to enjoy our dinner. The floors in the buffet area were filthy like no one had mopped all day. There was a foul odor around the ice cream cooler. They burned the steaks customers were waiting on. The men’s restroom roof was leaking so there was a trash can in the middle of the floor catching the water and the floor was also wet with no wet floor sign. I tried to express some of my concerns to the hostess but she never looked up from her phone uninterested by my remarks. Safe to say this would be my last time going there.

King's Super Buffet in Lauderhill is 10000% better. The food wasn't hot (even when they brought out the fresh/new servings) and the overall taste of everything was subpar. The options here are ok, but all weren't labeled accurately/correct placement. The waiter barely refreshed my drink unprompted. The seating/booths felt cheap. First n Last time going here for sure!!

Food is hard and overcooked , the chicken was dried out and disgusting , everything was cold especially the the pizza, I told the waitress and she told me the food maybe overcooked but it’s not old. I will never ever go back . Food was just horrible .
Today at 12:46 PM, my family and I had an unfortunate experience at this restaurant that led us to walk out due to extremely poor service. We were a party of six and politely requested a different table, even offering to pay for the additional seat. Instead of accommodating us, the manager—who refused to give her name—responded with an unprofessional and dismissive attitude. For identification, she appeared to be about 5’5”, Hispanic, with long black hair. She bluntly told us to either accept the table or leave. Her approach lacked basic courtesy and professionalism. Sadly, the level of service we received was worse than what we’ve experienced at fast food establishments like McDonald’s. This level of disregard for customer service is unacceptable, and we hope this feedback is taken seriously.
I used to really enjoy this sushi buffet, but unfortunately, the quality has gone down significantly lately. The amount of salmon on the nigiri is now so thin it’s almost transparent, and sashimi portions are very small — even when the restaurant is full of customers. What’s more frustrating is how long it takes the sushi chef to refill empty trays. I’ve seen new salmon sashimi prepared and then held back for some time while only the tuna was put out. It gives the impression that they’re intentionally limiting how much fish is available, especially salmon. The atmosphere has also become uncomfortable. Every time I go to grab sushi, the chefs watch with judgmental looks, as if I’m taking too much — even when I’m clearly not. This place used to be a favorite, but now it feels like they’re cutting corners in every way. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and brings the quality and service back to what it once was.
To Whom It May Concern, Chow Time Restaurant – 6997 W Commercial Blvd, Tamarac, FL 33319 I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience my family and I had at your Commercial Boulevard location. We have been loyal patrons of the Chow Time restaurant in Pembroke Pines and have always appreciated the respectful service, welcoming atmosphere, and attentiveness of the staff. Unfortunately, the experience at your Tamarac location was the complete opposite and left us disappointed and disturbed. From the moment we walked in, we were met with an unwelcoming and unprofessional attitude from the host, Buena. The very first words out of her mouth were, “This is Dinner time,” spoken with a visible attitude and no sense of hospitality. We chose to overlook the comment, hoping the service would improve. However, when Buena came to take our drink order, one of my family members politely remarked that she could at least smile. Her response was, “I don’t need to smile,” delivered in an unnecessarily rude and defensive tone. This behavior is not only unprofessional but also reflects very poorly on your establishment’s customer service standards. Things only got worse from there. Buena threw the receipt on the table without a word, and we were left waiting at least 10 to 15 minutes without a single server approaching us. No one brought silverware, no one asked if we needed refills, and no waitress or waiter was ever assigned to our table. This was beyond unacceptable. At that point, I got up to speak with the manager. To her credit, the manager was courteous and attempted to resolve the situation, and we appreciated her professionalism. However, by then, the damage was already done. Despite our better judgment, we decided to stay—but even after speaking with the manager, we still received no table service. One of my family members ordered hot tea, and when it finally arrived, the cup had a lipstick stain on it. This is a clear sign of unsanitary practices, and we immediately brought it to the manager’s attention. By that point, we had completely lost our appetite and left extremely dissatisfied. This was, without question, one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had. Not only was the service unacceptable, but the attitude of the host was offensive and dismissive. It is clear that this location does not hold itself to the same standards as your Pembroke Pines location, where we have always been treated with dignity and respect—regardless of who we are. After this experience, I looked into public reviews of this location and was not surprised to see a pattern of complaints about poor service, rude staff, and unhygienic conditions. We are not the only ones who have had such issues, which suggests a much larger management and training problem. I hope you take this feedback seriously. We are still hopeful that Chow Time as a brand values its customers and will work to improve the training and accountability of staff, particularly at this location.
Love this place hate the services and that lunch is over at 3pm. THATS INSANE YOU CAN EVEN STOP IN AFTER SCHOOL WITH YOUR KIDS. BECAUSE 3pm IS DINNER WHO IS PAYING $18 plus tax per person. At 3pm. THIS IS NOT CHINA OR JAPAN. Also the unnecessary attitude the staff has is very rude. The food is amazing the only reason we go at least 3 times a month. Our kids love it. BUT I ALSO SEE WHY IT LOOKS LIKE THERE LOSING ALOT OF BUSINESS!!! AND TRYING TO CHARGE RIDICULOUS PRICES AND RIDICULOUS TIMES IS ONLY GOING TO HURT IT MORE. I hope you guys get it together before you end up closing…. I’ve never spent less than $200 with tip. As there is 6 in our family. Lucky there is another one on University and Sunset Stripe. Better price and Food is just as amazing if anyone needs a better option until they fix there prices. And make them more reasonable for family’s. Dinner should start at 5pm like every place else!!!
The food was cold. Wasnt very good either. The eggroll tasted stale. Not coming back
We brought a friend to this buffet. Food great. I paid cash. The waitress opened the bill and pointed out I DID NOT LEAVE A TIP!!! We weren't finished eating, plates still on the table. I thanked her for checking on HER money and showed her where my cash for the tip was on the table. Let her know that is extremely rude and inappropriate. She did not apologize and just smiled. There was not a language barrier. I hope she enjoyed her no tip. One week before----We went mid afternoon. Everything was hot and fresh. The food tasted good and the sushi and crab was perfect. They were much better than any buffet I have been too. They had soup, chickens, sushi, salads and desserts. I would Definitly go back. Service was excellent.
The server that served me tonight was negative 1 of 5 stars very rude counting my refills speaking loud to me and making me very uncomfortable while i was eating my dinner, she really needs to be evaluated and penalized for such action really ruined my night
Food from hibachi was hard to chew. Coconut shrimp was not very good and seemed like it was on the buffet too long.
Didn’t ask my 8 year old age and charged full price/ It’s not about the $3 difference it’s about the welcome feeling you don’t have in this place
Please don’t go to this place. Total waste of money. The food is terrible. No flavor. Meat is tough. The service was beyond terrible. I tried to speak with the manager about the food and that it wasn’t edible. So I didn’t want to pay for something we didn’t eat!! They were rude and incompetent. I will dispute these charges with my bank!
The food here is amazing. But the ambient and atmosphere sucks. The waitress argue with customers about not leaving tip. People stare at you when you eat. And too much complaints
Chowtime used to be a very ood place to go and eat and have a good experience but now they are just nonchalant about service, they treat ppl lile you are there to beg for food, they literally assigned my table a waitress who was on her lunch and gave straight attitude the entire time. If my mother didnt love the food so much i would never come back
Do NOT go here if you have dietary restrictions or allergies. I am allergic to shrimp and avoided it but somehow must have got it on my plate because I'm starting to have an allergic reaction. I suspect due to cross contamination or mislabeling. My kid wanted dessert but we had to promptly leave so I can go get some allergy meds. Everything is mislabeled, they didn't give my toddler water so he ended up taking mine and I was thirsty nearly the whole time, and they had a bad attitude and started talking to each other about me because I refused to tip instead of asking me what went wrong!! If you have no allergies and don't care what you eat, for the price, it might be worth it to go. But definitely not if you have dietary restrictions or allergies.
The food looks really good but this food is the worst I have ever had. All the sushi is dry the banana pudding taste like it came from a can the ice cream taste fake the soups are bland. no flavor in any of the food. The people seem nice the restaurant looks nice but I wouldn't feed this food to a dog.
DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE EVERYTHING IS EXTREMELY COLD! They do not care about the temperature of the food if you are a health inspector COME TO THIS PLACE so they can be shut down or possibly get this place running correctly
We decide to try this restaurant for my daughter‘s birthday last night. The service was terrible. The waitress was very rude 9 o’clock. They ask us to leave because they said they’re closing at 9:30. I don’t think this restaurant cater the customer service. The floors were very dirty and slippery. Spoke to the waitress about it. She ignore everything I will not recommend this place. The one in Davie is a lot better.
Terrible experience(September 13,2025; around 4:30pm). When we politely asked to sit in a booth, the front Asian lady (short, working as the host/greeter) was extremely disrespectful. I asked her three times, and she completely ignored me before finally responding with a rude, dismissive attitude. At that point, we decided to leave without eating. A restaurant should make guests feel welcome, not disrespected and ignored. We won’t be coming back.
Poor customer service i called because i had international friends in town looking to try this restaurant. I simply asked “could you give an idea of whats being served tonight” the rep said “its a basic Chinese buffet” i said “okay i get that but what is on the menu? Could you give a quick idea they've never been to a buffet. She then said “no if you want to know come look” i realized this wasnt the norm after calling another location where the gentleman OFFERED to walk and give an idea of whats on the floor. VERY POOR customer service.

No complaints about the food it is basic serve yourself buffet style I was extremely appalled when I literally took out all the cash from my wallet to pay for the meal and included a few extra dollars as a tip and the waitress straight up scoffed at me and my wife and told me to pull out my debit card to tip her extra on top of what I already gave her in cash. Completely disgusting behavior from these employees and it is the only reason I will not come back here is because the lady literally told me to take out my card to tip her extra.
I wouldn’t dare come back to this place. From the customer service to the nasty cold untasted discolored food . For one I witnessed a kid get noodles & put the remaining that fell with his bare hands back in the pan & the lady that worked there just smile and smiling instead of removing that food. Which I had to get replaced . Listen idc if u got 14 kids DO NOT GO HERE !!! Kids not gone lie my 9 year old even said the food wasn’t good . I highly do not recommend
Your workers need to be trained on customer service. A male employee put his elbow in my back and pushed me instead of saying excuse me so I can get out of his way. I guess he was trying to put food down and I didn’t see him because my back was turned away from him. It was pretty busy in there so I assumed it was another customer, but to turn around and see that it was an employee—I was shocked. He didn’t even apologize. The only thing decent about my experience was the second waitress who was all smiles. Kuddos to her and refreshing attitude.
