G and his family are really kind and attentive. This is the place to come if you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Hatian dishes. Don’t be afraid to ask for a nice cold Prestige beer or a Corounne soda to wash all that good food down. I love their Diri Djon rice and the gravy that is served with it. The griot(fried pork) was tender for each time I ate there and the plantain crispy. Food was pretty consistent with portion and flavor the entire week I ate there . Check them out you won’t be disappointed.

This is very authentic and very consistent. I’ve been coming every day while working in this area. If you want great food and a great experience this is the place.
I read the reviews, some are good and some are some are bad but I still wanted to try it. My main reason to try them was because I was craving Fritay but I was too early for it. They do fritay in the evening and I definitely go back again to try the fritay. Oh the legumes I purchased was delicious 😋 and the phone # online doesn’t work so they gave me a card with their new phone #.
Yes. The food is really tasty. And the customer service was perfect. They just need to work on the place.
I have to notice a very good point: The meals were served in a reasonable time delay. For 4 different orders
Stewed chicken was absolutely incredible! Very fair price. Will be back for sure
I was pleasantly surprised, a very small Haitian restaurant with truly unique taste.

This is a decent Haitian restaurant that I wished I knew about from day 1. I ordered two meals from there the fried beef and the stew chicken. The fried beef was so delicious. The stew chicken didn’t really have any flavor to it but it was still good to me. I highly recommend them for their decent prices and service.
Atmosphere isn't great, but if you know anything about Haitian restaurants, the decor is often the reverse of the food quality. Poor decor, but good food is typical. Cuisine Lakay is no exception. Ordered the fried pork with rice and beans and it was made to order and pretty damn good
It's a hole in the wall so to speak type of restaurant, but don't let that fool you. While visiting Fort Lauderdale for July 4, my wife and girls who are American born wanted Haitian food. After reading a few bad reviews, I decided to take a chance on Cuisine Lakay mainly because it was the closest to where I was. I was not disappointed the food was good and on top of that it was cooked on order, which put another feather on their hat. Yes, I'd recommend Cuisine Lakay.
Food looks and tastes really good. Not in the most desirable location yet parking in the back was ample enough. Ordered the fried fish (poission) and the flavor and freshness was on point. Will eat from here again.
The food was good I has a lunch special so it hit the spot and when you want to be in and out just call it in and pick it up and go

They have great food but are not very professional. The place is sketchy walking up blacked out windows when you enter. Once inside all types of people are walking from back of house that don't even work there. I think they where homeless but very humble nice people... If you can over look all the facts and that they are very nonchalant might have to wait a whilllllllle . But it's worth it it truly is

Online and menu inside says $11 for a griot complete. The lady inside wanted to charge me $20 for it. I asked why is it different prices online and on the menu inside. She said the prices change. If that's the case then it needs to be updated. I walked out . I can get the same thing from somewhere else for $12-15. Never coming here again
This place is disgusting. Not only was I the only person in the place eating they gave me no suggestions of what to order when I asked . I pointed out something they were promoting on their window and they didn't know or check to see what I was talking about. I ordered chicken and rice and I couldn't eat it it tasted so bad. The food accidentally fell in the floor . the plate of food wasted anyways I asked for a refund or to replace the food instead , and the lady behind the counter picked up her mom or broom and said she couldn't because she "just works there ." that means she either didn't want to ask because she v was young and not very experienced with customer service and food service. It maybe a cultural thing. Last thought was maybe she didn't care less.about the fact that their food sucks and they won't be in business very long. Also they had the nerve to charge me $17 for 2 pieces of chicken which ended up being a waste. Nasty food and bad service.
Last time I ate there I had diarrhea a couple of hours later after eating my food never again the food was okay but never again!
They need to change thier hours of operation.
The food was not it if you seeing this review save your money💯 and the service was decent but the food is a no no
The worst Haitian restaurant I’ve tried in Fort Lauderdale. The goat isn’t good at all don’t go there 🤮🤮🤮
Phone number don’t work. Phone number have not worked for over 1 year. Professionally you would assume they would update it
