What a fantastic find! We were looking for lunch and came across Falafel Gourmet. We ordered the falafel balls, the schwarma hummus, and a chicken wrap. Everything was melt in your mouth delicious! The service was great and very polite and thoughtful! And pricing is very reasonable. Definitely a place worth eating! We will return for sure!!!
The food here is delicious! The chicken and beef kebabs were juicy and flavorful and the hummus is the best I’ve had in a long time. Will definitely be back!
First time here and they did not disappoint! Lovely and cozy atmosphere with amazing customer service! Now the food? Absolutely delicious!! Hot, fresh and flavorful food. The fries were so seasoned perfectly and crispy!!! This was definitely the top 3 falafel dishes I've ever had! The pita wrap was lightly toasted and all the ingredients fit nicely inside. Prices were great as well and that's always a plus!
First time here and I will be coming back soon and often! Loved the food, the hospitality and all the spices and teas to purchase. Service was great! Great people, great food! Highly recommend and I will be back soon. I had the lamb kebab wrap and falafel platter. Also for appetizer had the small hummus and it was perfect! Amaaazing food, the hummus is super fresh and the beef shawarma is delicious.
If I could give more stars for service I would. The young man BOBBY who served us was incredibly kind and helpful, he answered any questions that I had. The store was well maintained and very clean. And the food was absolutely delicious. I will be back very soon!
We were not surprised by how delicious the food was after walking in. We knew it was going to be a treat. There are so many delicious baked sweets from baklava, gorgeous cheese cake, baklava cream, and OH! don't miss out on the pistachio coffee or a Turkish coffee for those who like a kick in their drink. Do not sleep on this unique place, it's a must experience. With a mini Bodega like shopping with a variety of teas, herbs, and fresh dates, the list goes on.
The food was so delicious and I’ve been eating here for years now. Everyone has been so nice and helpful when it comes to what recommending new stuff they’re always adding here. I came here during Ramadan and their homemade drinks are perfect for breaking the fast. Their Shawarma and wraps are always my favorite go to and overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try something new and unique.
It wasn’t a planned visit to Falafel Gourmet in Coral Springs yesterday. We had some guests from Texas and were simply looking for a dinner spot. We had seen this place before but never had the chance to visit. Once we stepped inside, we were pleasantly surprised! The gentleman who greeted us, possibly the owner or manager. Welcomes us with genuine warmth and professionalism. His kind attitude and attention to detail truly made us feel at home. The food was absolutely delicious, served promptly, and the flavors were authentic and satisfying. The desserts were a delightful treat, and we ended the meal with a perfect cup of tea. It’s rare to find a place that combines great food with heartfelt hospitality. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend everyone to visit and experience it for themselves!!
Simple, delicious and tasty! I ordered a Chicken Kabab Wrap and it was simply delicious. The presentation was nice and the drink was also very good. First time coming here but I will for sure be coming back! They also have beautiful decorations for your home. Also the owners were very friendly and wanted to know if I liked my food. Which I personally take as an amazing sign! 100% recommended!
Falafel Gourmet in Coconut Creek is an absolute gem! Their shawarma is incredibly juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We paired it with their warm, aromatic cha, which was perfectly spiced and refreshing. The highlight of our visit was their baklava — the best we’ve ever tasted, fresh, flaky, and perfectly sweet. Every bite reflected authentic, homemade quality. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy it all over again!
There I was, hungry and in need of a refreshing meal. Falafel Gourmet came up on a search result, figured we would try. Greeted upon entry, that's a good start. Andrew provided some wonderful service and some treats to try. Recommend the falafel platter and coffee. Will be coming back next time in the area. Overall I recommend it to anyone looking for great food and service.

The food and the service in this place is AMAZING! We had hummus with steak and kibbeh recommended by Ahmed and it didn't disappoint! It tastes super authentic and I love all the large selection of goodies you can take home. Overall, great food and great service provided by Ahmed and Andrew, they made it an experience.
Tasty spot with really kind service. The coffee is exceptional, and they have a lot of teas as well. They have seating inside and outside with a kitchen serving up a variety of dishes, plus grocery store times and hookah supplies too.

I love the food here a lot. I love the chicken kabab with tabbouleh which reminded me the food of my home place and the falafels are amazing. The desserts were like mouth watering. Highly recommend for both vegans and non - vegetarians.

The food and service are fantastic. Not a traditional sit down restaurant. Everything we ate was high quality, fresh and traditional. In a world where almost everything is overpriced, it's great to find this gem. Definitely will be back.
Environment was very welcoming. Smell of flavors and spices greet you as you open the door. Family oriented. Food was fresh excellent flavor and combination just wow… presentation incredible and for the price you can’t argue. Definitely going back again!!!
★★★★★ - Outstanding Catering Experience! We recently ordered catering from Falafel Gourmet, and everything exceeded our expectations! The beef kebabs were flavorful and perfectly cooked, the lentil rice was rich and comforting, and the yellow rice with pistachios added a delicious touch. The Fattoush salad was fresh and vibrant, complementing the meal beautifully. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was also top-notch professional, friendly, and efficient. The portions were generous, making it an excellent value. We will definitely be ordering again. Highly recommended!
Stopped in for a falafel snack and ended up leaving stuffed as we had to try the hummus along with the falafel. Absolutely delicious. Fresh, prepared perfectly, and very tasty. Also tried the pistachio and walnut (separate) baklava....WOW. buttery, nutty, sweet, but not too sweet. Ended with a pistachio coffee and a Turkish coffee made in hot sand. Yum! Andrew is amazing too. Attentive, knowledgeable, kind and helpful Highly recommend this place. Can't wait to come back!
What an amazing surprise the place is hidden but with very authentic fresh food. Definitely coming back. The coffee is creamy and delicious.
My review is based on the owner being so nice and greeting me with open arms at his restaurant. I had plans on eating at my go to joint so next time for sure I will get all my favorites the restaurant offers. Attached are some pictures. If you can't afford to travel all you need to do to experience others cultures is try the food. You can't go wrong here, just take a look at all the wonderful meals you can get. Thank You Muhammad for the kindness.
the food always come out fast and the service is great :) our food was amazing and the atmosphere is comforting. this is going to be our new spot for shawarma and falafel <3
Falafel Gourmet offers an exceptional dining experience with very attentive service. The staff is incredibly attentive and ensures that every aspect of the meal is enjoyable. The food itself is nothing short of amazing, with each dish bursting with authentic Mediterranean flavors. I highly recommend Falafel Gourmet to anyone seeking a delightful dining experience with unparalleled service and incredible food.
Wonderful staff tasty food, I ordered a lamb and beef mix shawarma and it was really good. The young lady was super nice and the prices were good for margate
Chicken shawarma wrap was too good. Also pistachio cold coffee and strawberry milkshake were good as well.
Falafel Gourmet is a hidden gem for Mediterranean food lovers. I tried the chicken shawarma and beef kebab pita rolls—both were packed with flavor and clearly made with care. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the whole place has a warm, inviting vibe. They also have a nice selection of Mediterranean groceries and spices, plus some amazing desserts like pistachio cheesecake, pistachio chocolate cake, and baklava ice cream. If you’re in the area and craving authentic Mediterranean food, this place is definitely worth a visit.
This place has the best Hummus and falafel i’ve ever had! Everyone that works here is super friendly, last time we ordered, Ahmed took care of us, super friendly and know. I really recommend this place, lots of allergy friendly and vegan meals. My toddler has dairy, tree nuts and egg allergies and had no problem eating here.
hidden gem. staff is so attentive, you can see this is a spot that cares for their customers and strive to provide nothing but the best. the place is very neatly organized and clean. we got the chicken shawarma and it was insanely good. definitely try out the pistachio baklava. great portion sizes, full of flavor, for a great price. highly recommend!
Amazing little restaurant with Turkish Vibes! Warm and friendly staff!! Amazing food! I was curious about the process in how Turkish coffee is prepared so they educated me on the different kinds of Turkish coffee and teas. I decided to try the pistachio coffee for the first time and as a coffee Lover its was an amazing experience to say the least. I will be coming back very frequently!!! They also are a small grocery store for Turkish items and imported goods nation native to Lebanon, Palestine, Istanbul and Turkey.
At first glance, Falafel Gourmet may seem like a sit-down food venue but as it turns out it's more of a local market with meals available over the counter. That's not to say the food isn't great, because it certainly is. As you enter you'll see a few aisles of middle eastern items, which I'm sure is ideal for those of the culture looking to do some light shopping. Approaching the counter you'll be greeted by a very friendly man, who will present you with a menu and await your order. It's important to note that there is somewhat of a language barrier since the man's English appears to be minimal. This won't stop you from ordering but you'll need to point to photos on the menu and keep it simple, to ensure communication is consistent and that your order is correct. The menu contains a good variety of options, ranging from sandwiches to entire platters. Drinks include a somewhat random selection of bottled and canned drinks, including non-alcoholic beer. Once you've ordered and grabbed a drink, you can sit outside and they'll bring the food to you. The food was very delicious! I ordered a falafel platter which included rice, chicken and a salad. The meal is served in a styrofoam to-go container, which makes it convenient if you need to head out. The seating is very limited since there's only one or two tables outside with only a couple seats. This is more of a order to-go or dine solo type of store, which makes it less ideal for dining with a group of friends. But being small has its advantages - the people are extremely friendly and very attentive. I wouldn't be surprised if this place was family owned and operated. You can tell they value your service. Fresh, delicious food and friendly smiles are more than enough reasons to give this place a try!
So good!!! Very authentic Levantine (southeastern Mediterranean) food. I ordered a falafel sandwich, fried kibbeh, and baba ghanoush. The falafel sandwich was the perfect size, very filling and well constructed. Loved the pickles! A lot of places don’t put pickles in their falafel wraps but Falafel Gourmet did not disappoint! The kibbeh were perfectly moist, fried, and seasoned. Pillowy and stuffed to perfection. The baba ghanoush was so fresh! Silky and smoky, with chunks of eggplant. Truly some of the best Middle Eastern food I’ve had in the US. I ordered through Uber eats and everything arrived well-packed and at the perfect temperature. The only very small negative was that the pita bread that the Uber Eats menu stated was served with the baba ghanoush was not in my bag. I almost ordered a side of pita chips but because I saw the baba ghanoush came with pita, I didn’t. That was just an order execution issue though, and I will still happily order again. See photos of the portions. I already took a bite of a kibbeh because I was too excited.
AWESOME restaurant/market to eat Mediterranean food & buy your Mediterranean favorites, The taziki dip was delicious and the kibeh off the chain. The pita bread is served super hot & delicious if you eat it together with the taziki dip. I also bought on the market side a bag of pita bread, black olives for my dad & a favorite Mediterranean sweet favorite of mine called "Halva" Definitely me & my dad will be returning customers. When you there Andrew will be your server, nice guy & great 100% service. GO EAT MEDITERRANEAN FOOD @ FALAFEL GOURMET, YOU WONT REGRET IT.
I’ve visited this location twice, and it’s a charming mom-and-pop shop with a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The employees are incredibly kind and attentive, making the experience even better. The food is absolutely delicious! I’ve tried both the platters and the wraps, and both are consistently excellent. The only downside is the lack of a public restroom, which can be inconvenient. However, the authentic flavors and overall experience more than make up for it. I highly recommend giving this place a try!
We discovered this place on Sunday and now it's Thursday and we are back. The guys are amazing. Majid and Ahmed make great coffee. The pistachio coffee is unbelievable. Baklava is very tasty. Real Mediterranean cuisine. Great falafel and humus. A true taste of Mediterranean food. Prices are reasonable.
2nd time experiencing this place and it still is a great. Healthy and best halal food and service was so comforting. Family enjoyed their meal and we got the deserts to go.
The food here is delicious and authentic! We just moved to the area and looking for a new middle eastern spot for food and this is definitely it! The only thing that topped the food was the service! We walked in and were greeted by the gentleman working and he actually hosted us, walked us around to explain some of their products and made us the most delicious Turkish coffee while we waited for our order! Highly recommend this spot! 10/10!
Stopped by after a trip to the Everglades to get lunch, and it was DELICIOUS! Service so incredible, and they even gave us some baklava to taste at the end. Drinks (lebonese lemonade and rose water and pistachio yogurt smoothie) were yummy, too. Highly recommend!
Although, the atmosphere wasn’t seem Mediterranean and that something made me hesitate to order Mediterranean food. However, the food was beyond expectations, and i’ve had the most amazing flafel plate i’ve ever had, to the point that i’ve decided to order another wrap to go 👏👏
This little gem was worth the visit. I’ve lived in Coral Springs for 4 years always walked by and never stopped, I’m glad my husband and I decided to pay a visit and was it worth it. Ahmad had excellent customer services. He gave us free samples to try and explained the menu and the different variations of tea. He made me one that was so refreshing. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. I had the chicken shawarma and my husband had the beef shawarma and both were the platters. The portions were perfect. Freshly made hummus. We are definitely coming back and if you live or are in the area pay them a visit.
So I been driving past this place for the past year and a half and didn’t realize it until tonight. I call to place an order for beef shawarma, Lebanese fries and shawarma hummus. The gentlemen who took my other was beyond kind and friendly. When to the store and I was amazed by all the tea, coffee dessert was there to offer. The brother who took my order was there with a big smile and showed me a lot the entire store what the sell. I’m shocked of all the tea and coffee varieties they have. I even meet the cook Annan, who’s from the same country I’m from. Never meet such exceptional service like that. And the food was reasonably priced and GoOSH DARN DELICIOUS! Next time I go I’m buying the same exact meal and I’m going to get that pistachio coffee. But definitely I’m trying all their menu items.
Delicious food, fresh, fast and affordable. They have vegan options, even vegan baklava and other sweets. We tried the mixed grill plate, the shawarma plate and the falafel plate. Will be back soon to try the wraps and Knafeh. Thanks MJ for answering all my questions. Excellent service 👌🏻
I've been looking for a place to get the original kebab/shawrama in Florida and I finally found it! Everything according to the art of these dishes, which gives the impression of originality. Pleasant service yesterday, gives a recommendation, approaches the customer by name, a sweet treat to say on goodbye. I will definitely return to try other dishes.
This has been one of the most rewarding experiences of the Turkish cuisine. Ahmad has been one of the best hosts that I have cross paths my entire life. He is extremely welcomed and his coffee by far the best you can try. If you have not come in yet, you are missing out. Great coffee, great food and great price. Very worth your time. Ahmad made our visit way more enjoyable.
Very tasty food, friendly and smiling staff. You must try the falafel and kebabs. Don't forget the baklava
Once we entered this establishment, a very welcoming young man (perhaps owner) greeted us and guided us through his menu offerings. It was like we're were in another country for our time here. The food was awesome. My hubby had lamb shawarma and I had a falafel wrap. A nice little escape from reality with great company and awesome is my take away. Thank you for having us.
What an amazing find. MJ makes the place feel like home and the food is outstanding! They have great prices, hours, and the food will leave you coming back for more. My fiancé and I were looking for better places to eat now that everything has gone up in price and found Falafel gourmet which has food to fit every diet (very vegan friendly yet also tons of meat options). Everything is perfect including the drinks. Make sure you try everything because I have been eating my way through the menu and I’m not disappointed (especially their red seasoned fries).
Now I have to come here even more frequently, they started carrying HQD’s and Raz vapes. I have been coming for a while now, love the authentic halal foods, along with the quick friendly service. Overheard one of the staffs saying, “if you dine in, it doesn’t count towards your daily calories”
This restaurant/grocery store is under new ownership with a new chef. I had the pleasure of meeting Majid Who was very friendly. I tried the chicken Shawarma and it was outstanding with authentic flavors and a side of garlic sauce. Good portions and very reasonable prices. I highly recommend this place for everyone.
Storm and I randomly chose the Falafel Gourmet for my birthday dinner since they had some vegan and vegetarian options. And what an outstanding find!!!! Our new Jourdanian friend Ahmad took our order and started our food and while we waited he started telling us about the teas, the coffees, and the desserts. We sampled a few, and each was better than the last!!! And all were vegan that we tried. Storm even liked them. Then we got our food, a falafel wrap like none I have had before, light, crispy, and DELISH! Storm got the loaded Lebanese vegetarian fries, he got the garlic sauce and Feta, and there were olives, tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuce, too. Alll soooo good. We are definitely going to be repeat customers! Thanks, Ahmad!
Chicken and lamb shawarma. Was very tasty and filling for around 10$ for any you choose really. The wait was a little long, about 15 minutes but it was worth the wait. The sauce was tasty too and wish it would come with some to dip in, but you could probably order that on the side. They also have a store of course with a variety of products.
My partner and I were craving some good middle eastern food, we truly picked the right spot among all the middle easter restaurants to chose from. We had the chicken kabab platter and falafel platter. My taste buds were dancing with the first bite of kabab. The platters had hummus, rice, tabbouleh, tahini (falafel), and pita. The kabab plate had a garlic sauce that was so delicious, I wanted it on everything. Daina, the owner, was such a lovely hostess. There is a a variety of wonderful middle eastern groceries available for purchase, which I took advantage of. The flavors of the Middle East are there, it made me long for the Levant. Thank you, Daina, for your delicious cuisine and warm hospitality.
The presentation was so beautiful on the plate, Andrew the gentleman who took care of me, was so professional so well mannered so soft-spoken we really hit it off. You could tell he really cares about the place. They have all kinds of Middle Eastern and Lebanese spices on the wall as well., I ordered the falafel platter which was beautifully presented like I said everything tasted Great!. The falafel was so fresh. I hadn't tasted falafel that good since I lasted on the lower side in New York City, which was years ago. Hidden gem is what I would call this place. It's a little expensive but it's worth it. If you don't wan a platter then just the falafel sandwich with all the fixings you will not regret it as Lebanese-Dominican lady I approve of this restaurant wholeheartedly.
First impressions: uncompromising, “MUST TRY” good food, with distinctly DIVERSE and intentional seasoning. Let me put it this way… If you’re within 15 miles of this place it’s worth driving OUT of your way to try it for yourself. So it’s my first time here and from what I heard, for the past eight months Falafel Gourmet has been under newer management. With an all new menu out this week I found it the perfect time to give it a shot and I’m proud to report it did not disappoint. It’s hard to single out any menu item as a “must try”, because everything is so good. Sometimes you go to a restaurant and all their food tastes the same so it doesn’t matter what you order. Here, there is so much care in the way the food is seasoned and prepared, the flavors of EACH menu item are BOLD, VIBRANT and absolutely FRESH. It’s what I think makes this new menu so exciting. Ask the staff for recommendations, they’re friendly and won’t lead you wrong. I tried the Grilled Feta Cheese, which if you’re new to Lebanese food, is like a fresh take on a quesadilla with feta and tomato. With a side of Labanese fries and maybe some taziki, you’ll have everything you need for a delicious and affordable meal. Another standout is -of course- the Beef Shawarma Wrap. For best experience I recommend eating at the location, your food will be crisp and hot leaving you with a more authentic experience. I can go on and on about the desserts and pastries here as well like the Baklava and the Lebanese Rice Pudding… but I think I leave that as a little surprise for you when you make the visit yourself! Finally, the restaurant is in a great location but easy to miss if you’re not looking for it! However, with food this good, I can easily see Falafel Gourmet stepping out from becoming one of Coral Spring’s “hidden gems” to one of the top “heavy hitters” in the area very soon! So stop in ASAP. Lasting impression: The staff (MJ and Andrew) are kind, thoughtful, and genuinely excited about the food they serve …and you can TASTE the difference that makes in their cooking. Wow wow wow. Can’t wait to go back! See you guys there soon!
Service: the shop attendant guided me through their menu patiently and with grace. I was even delighted to sample some treats. Great service. Food: I would come here every week if it was near me, I will most certainly be back soon to try more of their menu. Atmosphere: this small looking place from the outside is an entire shop complete with tables for your convenience. Price: $10-15 per person. Overall: 9.3/10
The food, atmosphere and drinks were all 100% fantastic. Andrew and MJ were great and helpful. Tons of GOOD vegan options! They let me try a Falafel for the first time and it was amazing. 10/10 will come everytime we are in the area. They also had Turkish coffee and it totally lived up to the hype!
Beautiful experience! I normally order online but today I was able to stop in, and I am so glad I did! I was hosted by Ahmad, who delivered the most increíble brew and presentation of a natural herb relaxing Tea. Absolutely delicious and euphoric! There’s a huge variety so I will definitely be back to try all flavors including the Arabic and Turkish Coffee! The food is always so fresh and authentic but the hospitality is even better! Felt like I traveled away for a few minutes 😌 can’t wait to be back and immerse in more of their pure unique Teas. Thank you Ahmad !!!
Went in for a quick dinner and found an amazing spot. Service was great, Ahmad took the time to walk us through the menu and give us recommendations. What made it for me is that they have a Venezuelan option for their shawarma and that took me back home! Best shawarma I’ve had since I moved to the states We will definitely be coming back!
After several years, I recently revisited Falafel Gourmet, and wow, what a transformation! The new owners (Syrian and Lebanese) took over in 2023 and have truly elevated this gem. The grocery section has been reduced to make room for more dining tables, offering a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Highlights: Falafel Appetizer: Crunchy discs of seasoned ground chickpeas, less herbal than other versions – perfect for sandwiches Arayes: A must-try! Pita bread stuffed with juicy, spiced beef and lamb – addictive! Mixed Grill Plate: Juicy chicken kebab, flavorful kefta, and well-marinated lamb kebab with a side of rice pilaf and hummus. Drinks: Arabic style coffee made traditionally with a pot heated in sand, pistachio flavor is to die for! Also, try the homemade Lebanese lemonade with ginger and mint – refreshing! Special shoutout to Andrew, the friendly and knowledgeable server/manager, who made our experience even better. Don’t miss this spot if you’re in Coral Springs!
What an amazing place to eat and smoke hookah! The food is delicious! The owners are also very welcoming and kind. Such a great atmosphere if your trying to kick back and have amazing food and good vibes. We’ve been coming here for years and we always leave happy and with new products to make our own hookah at home! If your looking for great middle eastern food look no further 😍!
Falafel gourmet has been one of the few mom and pop shops that’s been around in Coral Springs for the longest time. For good reason though: the food and desserts, the amount of love that goes into all the dishes, and the service they provide is always amazing. The chicken shawarma is great, the fresh dates are delicious, the baklava is very addicting, and the fresh Turkish coffee hits just right. If you come here and Andrew is there, you’ll be taken care of by someone exceptionally knowledgeable in this field of food. If you’re ever around, I highly recommend coming here!
If you’re looking for real authentic Lebanese/Mediterranean food, THIS is the place. Their Kibbeh and Falafel are one of the best I’ve ever had (and that’s because I was in Lebanon 3 months ago) and their plates are so good too. Totally recommend. Amazing customer service too. please always remember: they are made fresh and from scratch, so it might take a while to be ready. Still so worth it. And the pistachio coffee… just try. You won’t regret.
This place is a gem! Andrew was very hospitable, knowledgeable & was kind enough to walk me through the market. He thoroughly answered all of my questions and also made great suggestions. The food was delicious and fresh and the Turkish coffee was exactly what I needed. I highly recommend this place for all of your loose leaf teas and holistic herbs! I'll be returning soon! Also, great Vegan options!!! Thank you Andrew!
Been here 3x so far. Food is always fresh and the staff are always helpful and kind. Our favorite dishes are the lamb platter, falafel salad, lamb wrap. Turkish tea is also yummy. 😋
The food is so fresh and authentic, I came back for a second visit in less than 2 weeks. The manager was very engaging, and invited me to a sample of the the baba ganoush, which I had never tried. It was so delicious,... I added that to my order as well to go! Certainly going to be a part of my go-to list permanently. Looking forward to trying something else on the menu!
The chicken kebobs were especially tender and flavorful, and salad dressing was surprisingly herby and delicious. The Turkish coffee can’t be missed-so rich and creamy with hints of fragrant spices. The young woman working was friendly and accommodating. It’s a really good value for fresh made to order generous portions in a casual deli-like atmosphere. We really enjoyed our lunch and will definitely visit again.

This is a cool place. Half market half little jem to grab a quick good meal. The falafel was hot and crispy, hummus and lamb was excellent and lentil soup was good but a liitle watery. Oh the Turkish coffee was excellent and quite a treat! The store sells tea and seasoning along with some hard to find ingredients. We will return. Service was excellent.
In the last year, (which I discovered today was when new owners came in) the quality of this place has gone downhill. It used to be my favorite place. The Shwarma meat isn't as flavorful, sometimes my wrap Is poorly put together. No hello or acknowledgment when you come in at times, and the wonderful selection of teas is dwindling every time I come in. I used to come about once a week, now I come no more than every couple of months.
We ordered two plates to go today — the Lamb Plate and the Mixed Grill Plate — and unfortunately both were very disappointing. The lamb was extremely overcooked and tough. It was so chewy that my jaw actually hurts from trying to eat it. The Mixed Grill Plate wasn’t any better: most of the meats were dry, oversalted, and lacked flavor. We were really looking forward to trying this place, but the food quality today was far below expectations.

This place has never been the same since the new owners took over. The food is not the same and the taste is not great. I decided to go there today to get my regular beef shawarma plate that comes with some pita when I realized it had mold. I had already taken a bite. Very disappointed and it tells me the food is not stored properly or fresh.
I think the falafel is really good. I drove a long distance to get here and was in desperate need to use the restroom. She refused and just kept saying over and over how much I had to pay for the sandwich. I pleaded, and she refused so I told her I won’t be back. Just happened to stumble on another Mideastern food joint in the same complex and yes, I was allowed to use the restroom. I’ll never give my business to Falafel Gourmet again.
