Luigi's Coal Oven Pizza

From start to finish Luigi’s provides an exceptional experience. The staff is top notch. Very efficient and welcoming. The pizza exceeded our expectations and we explore a lot of pizza. It is worth your time to check them out.

We were hungry after arriving in Fort Lauderdale, my husband loves Las Olas so we were driving down thinking about lunch so I was searching on Yelp. My husband saw the "coal fired pizza" at Luigi's and we pulled in. Our waiter, Peter, was personable, offering suggestions and giving us time to decide and also didn't keep bugging us. We had the grilled octopus, his rec and it was just perfect - simple with arugula and a balsamic glaze. We weren't sure about pizza, because we weren't that hungry. Peter suggested a lunch special, a personal pizza. It was PERFECT and the crust (like other reviews stated) was exceptional. Reminded me of the first pizza I had in Venice. Well done, Luigis and Peter!

On our yearly trips to Fort Lauderdale we always make sure to visit Luigi’s. We start with the Caesar salad and then a pizza. They sauté their mushrooms for the pizza and they are delicious! The crust is perfectly crispy and chewy. Rosa was our server and checked on us often. Outstanding food and service!

De las mejores pizzas por la zona de las Olas. Es muy italiano el local, ambiente agradable. Los refrescos con tamaño 33cl... Eso son puntos positivos para el local y el aceite picante que pedí para echarlo a la pizza estaba el pique en su punto. Local pequeño pero acogedor. Servicio atento.

Excellent pizzas, but I had never eaten such a good Capressa salad, keep ordering it. Excelentes pizzas pero nunca habia comido una ensalada Capressa tan buena, no dejen de pedirla.

Nice, family run coal oven pizza resturant with friendly staff. We enjoyed the 1/2 cheese 1/2 veggie pizza.and everyone thought it was very good with a thin crust. Indoor and outdoor seating available. I would recommend giving it a try.

High quality food, friendly service, really a nice place. Not inexpensive, and you have to deal with parking and the crowds, but a great spot if you're in the area already.

Nice place for a really good pizza and food. Ask for the pizza to be well done. We also had the pear ravioli it was nice, but too much cream. Salads were good and plentiful. We sat outside because the weather was perfect, but since the parking lot is right there we smelled the fumes once in a while. Will go back only of a table away from the parking lot is available.

Nice extensive menu. Pastas, seafood, wings, and some unique pizzas. Nice vibe in there and a very chill staff. I would recommend trying this place out.

This place seems to have excellent reviews so this is just my experience. Went in on a Sunday evening and sat by the bar. There were another 2 couples in the whole place. We got a medium pizza that was at most, mediocre and a couple of coronas. At the end of it all, we took the pie to go and paid $60 + tip, which tbh, i thought was a little over priced for what we got. Anyway, like I said your experience may vary. First time we tried this place and we will not be going back. We are local and there's way better places around.

Ordered pepperoni and got a mess of a pizza. Even if I had ordered an all meat pizza which I don't mind, the presentation was a joke and the flavor tasted like subway got in the pizza business. The garlic bread had no red sauce and tasted like onions on bread. Completely dissatisfied. If you are in the area pass on this place. 2 out of 10 on the pizza.

Rosita the waitress is great. Super nice and attentive. The lady Olga behind the bar who sometimes answers the phone is awful. Has absolutely no customer service skills. She’s extremely rude. It’s obvious that she takes no pride in whatever her position is. Will consider other local spots before coming back here. A little goes a long way with good customer service and value.
