This spot near downtown Ft Lauderdale was a great place to satisfy my craving for a bagel sandwich! The setup is nice and the bagels are baked fresh. As busy as they were with to-go orders, our food was ready quickly. As was recommended, I ordered the bacon/egg/cheese on everything bagel and my husband ordered the pastrami/egg/cheese on plain bagel. Also got the French toast bites. All in all, the service was great, friendly and we really enjoyed our food. The only negative for us was the price point. Compared to other bagel shops, this is a bit more expensive. Now, don't let that keep you from checking them out! You can't put a price on service so maybe it's worth a few extra bucks. They have multiple locations and more going up, so put Mitch's on your breakfast list.

this is my 2nd time here, i always get the pastrami on rye and it never disappoints! if you can’t get to NY for Katz this is your closest bet lol. & they also serve Wells Coffee which is honestly the best brew in Broward County

Their quality and presentation truly elevated the breakfast, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. On top of that, I ran into a small issue creating a login to start earning points, and their team was super helpful and patient in getting everything set up for me. Excellent customer service paired with amazing food makes this place a standout. Highly recommend Mitch’s Bagel for both catering and everyday cravings!

This place is sooo good! I got the avocado Caesar chicken wrap this time and it was so good and tasty. Everyone here is always so friendly, and I’ve already been here about three times. Each time I try something new and it never disappoint. everything always hits!

Update to my review from last week. Today I ordered the Matzo Ball Soup. I can attest that it is just about as good as the matzo ball soup I make homemade! Mitch's nailed it by adding the fresh dill. Such an amazing cafe! We loved the Mr Eats 305 so fresh! The OG pancakes are super stacked and thick n fluffy. Enjoyed everything so much we came back again!

This is like bougie version of the Northeast bagel places that I grew up with. The bagels are good doesn’t have quite the same density and chew like a northeast bagel but you may like their lighter version of a bagel. I got the hanger sandwich and it was delicious. I wish they have classic hot sauce like Frank’s or Tabasco sauce but they do have hot sauce. They also have Dr. Brown soda which is my favorite but at $3.50 a pop it is expensive. I ended up paying $7 just for soda and the sandwich was $13.50. So right there is a $20 breakfast before you even tip. I remember the days when a breakfast sandwich and coffee was $3.50 - $5.00 😩. I would highly recommend Mitch’s Downtown Bagel Cafe.

We were thrilled to find the parking is free on Sundays. A nice variety of menu options, and I enjoyed the casual atmosphere and vibe. They offered a sample French toast because it was our first time (such a happy surprise) My potato latkes were beautiful; it came with sour cream OR apple sauce; I chose BOTH for a slight upcharge 😋 I totally look forward to a follow-up visit.

When you arrive at Mitch’s, you have plenty of street parking. You’ll also notice that it’s a very dog friendly environment with an energizing urbanite feel. We got drip coffee, freshly squeezed OJ from local groves, the breakfast burrito and the chopped bagel. The burrito was sensational! The aeoli they use makes it exceptionally palatable and I should mention it is also made with a hasbrown… 😋😋We are saving the chopped bagel for later so I don’t currently have enough time say on it, but see for yourself. I was enticed by the italian rainbow cookies I saw for sale there as well as the pastrami sandwich. I left those to look forward to on my next visit. We loved our morning visit to Mitch’s and can’t wait to come back.

I finally had a chance to visit Mitch’s Downtown Bagel Café in Fort Lauderdale and wow, why did I wait so long? Everything in this New York Style Deli is delicious. This family-owned café brings the true essence of NYC in every bite. The bagels are baked in-house, and all sandwiches and wraps are made to order. They also have Omelets, pancakes and avocado toast. They also carry Wells Coffee and an assortment of juices, sodas and drinks. But its not just breakfast. Their lunch menu offers hold or cold sandwiches with freshly cut meats, wraps and soups! My favorite was the Pastrami Rachel, served hot with melted cheese and thick layers of Pastrami on grilled rye bread. So good! Located in Flagler Village, I plan on stopping by a lot more often and I recommend that you do as well. You won’t be disappointed! (And don't forget to bring your dogs for a treat!) This is a really cool new spot right beneath the Motif Apartments. I dig it, the place is very modern and hip. I had one of their recommendations, which was The Becta, which is basically a bagel of your choice with 2 scrambled eggs, cheddar, bacon, avocado slices and truffle oil, served with a side of coffee. My order was alright although I wasn’t a fan of the truffle oil. The scenery is what you would expect from a modern millennial restaurants neon lights over a grass wall with a cool phrase that describes their main selling point. Good options to take photos, hangout and grab a bite. I will definitely be coming back with friends to show them around.

The vibe is always right, great music, and of course, amazing customer service. This is all aside from the bagel itself... The best bagels on planet earth. I will always come back and I hope anyone who flies into fort Lauderdale or is in the city can grab a taste of the amazing Mitch's atmosphere and of course, bagel. (The hangover bagel with an extra hash brown patty is absolute class).

There is convenient street parking with pay by app right out front and I also saw a sign for a parking garage out back. As I entered I noticed how bright and clean Mitch’s is. There was upbeat music playing and Seinfeld on the TV I ordered The Hangover and drip coffee. Service was quick and efficient. I took my order to go and I got into my sandwich before I got to the next intersection. I can’t believe I ate the entire Hangover, I intended on saving half but once I got started I couldn’t stop. No regrets! The eggs, the bacon, the hash browns all snuggled in a sesame bagel were bliss. The staff were very friendly and everyone seemed to enjoy their job. There were a lot of customers coming in to pick up lunch and I could see several Uber Eats orders on the screen. I highly recommend Mitch’s for breakfast, lunch or to pick something up from their deli case.

We are here for the 3rd time now and it's been consistently great! It's a clean atmosphere. The staff is all very friendly. Linda helped us twice, she's very friendly and helpful! Matt helped us the 3rd time and his customer service is on point! Really went above to make sure our order was perfect. (I had asked to make modifications) the spicy avocado toast is freaking delicious. Definitely my FAV so far. Husband lovess the bagels! Overall 5 stars. They hit all the marks, clean establishment, friendly staff and food is consistently good. Price is on point for the area. If quality wasn't there I'd say it's a little expensive but food and coffee is great, so I have no issue with the price.

First time there and it won't be my last when I'm in town. The best BLTA on an everything bagel since NYC 10 years ago. Have not been able to find a place where I live in N.C and I'm probably one of the very few who want more lettuce and tomatoe than they do bacon and this place did not disappoint! The service, the speed and the hospitality at check out and when they brought out our food! I cannot rave enough about, a little kindness goes a long way and can turn someone's day around. As a FL native who lived in New Jersey for several years, I was excited to find a bagel shop worth eating at. The bagels have that exterior firmness and interior chewiness that defines a proper bagel and the sandwiches are well balanced with toppings. Great coffee too!

We are in town for a short trip, and this was our first visit to Mitch’s. It did not disappoint! The bagels were fantastic and toasted perfectly. We also had an iced latte and a hot latte, both of which were great as well. The space is clean and bright with a friendly, welcoming vibe. It’s not a full-service restaurant as you order at the counter, but the young lady who helped us, Makayla, still came around and checked in with us and other tables to be sure everyone was good and had what they needed. Excellent service. 10/10 all around experience. We will definitely be back!

Disfrutamos de cafés helados; el mío con vainilla y leche. Estaba perfecto, no muy dulce y con la cantidad justa de crema. Pedimos "The Hangover" (un bagel sándwich) y un BELT con queso, un sándwich enorme del que me llevé la mitad. Venía con una guarnición, y elegí ensalada de macarrones; estaba deliciosa. Linda fue muy amable y atenta. Quedamos encantados y volveríamos sin duda. También nos sentamos en la terraza, en el centro, a la sombra, frente a la tienda, y disfrutamos del buen tiempo y de la ciudad. El interior era limpio y moderno. Tenían un pequeño puesto de refrescos con varias salsas, azúcar y utensilios para el café. Jarabe de arce y otros condimentos para completar el desayuno. También tenían productos de panadería caseros, como pasteles y otros dulces. En el puesto también había agua de pepino fresca para todos. En resumen, ¡un 10/10! Lo recomiendo muchísimo.

Soy celíaco y no recuerdo la última vez que comí algo tan rico. El bagel sin gluten no se desmoronaba y sabía como cualquier otro bagel. I visited Mitch’s Downtown for lunch and found the experience to be satisfactory. The establishment presents itself as a clean and comfortable dining area that serves both food and workspace needs. The chicken wrap I chose delivered fresh flavors, while the fries served as a small portion that exceeded my taste expectations with their excellent truffle seasoning. The high price of $6 for a muffin remained the only negative aspect of my visit. The restaurant served excellent food while providing fast service to its customers. My Suggestion: The downtown location offers excellent quick lunch options, although customers should prepare for some of its expensive food prices.

food was 8/10! they don’t take cash we got there a little bit before the rush came in a little pricey for the little portions, iced coffee did taste a little bit watered down atmosphere was beautiful, cashier who helped us first was a little grumpy then a man took over later on and seemed better while we were eating a doordash driver came back because he was given the wrong order by the grumpy woman there were workers who cleaned the table as soon as you were done and another lady checking up on everyone as well

Upping stars based on their response and handling of this. Ownership and culture don’t match our one time service experience. Will try again…Good and bad first impressions…Just moved to the area and we were excited to try Mitch’s out after seeing the great reviews. Great looking place. Menu had much more than we expected and everything looked tasty. We were very disappointed and frustrated when one of the first of our deli items we went to buy was more than double the price on the menu on the screen or menu pictures on the web, when she went to ring it up. Someone who I believe was the manager chose to handle it by telling me the register price was the correct price. As a result, we only took the few items we ordered before that and left. Not sure we’ll be back based on that service and integrity experience. From what I’ve seen in other reviews, this is inconsistent with other people‘s experiences. Maybe new staff?

I tried this place recently and it was good. I love a good bacon egg and cheese and that’s exactly what they had plus hash browns and cream cheese on a bagel. I think with the hash brown it was very easy for it to get messy while eating but the taste was kind of underwhelming I think the eggs could’ve used more salt and pepper but together it tasted pretty decent I love the texture that the hash brown added to the sandwich

Poor seasoning. I needed to add my own salt. No salt packets provided. Got the BECTA. Avocado was nice and firm, but half brown. Avocado kept falling out of the bagel because it was sliced too tiny. Very good everything bagel. Was asked to write a review for a free cookie. I declined to write a review before tasting anything.

Service was good. Employees were kind and friendly. But the bagels are unfortunately not good and way overpriced. Same egg and cheese as McDonald’s. Strange chemical like taste after each bite.

The food was undoubtedly delicious. But unfortunately, my first visit was marred by the poor service and unpleasant personality of the old lady at the counter. As customers, we shouldn't have to put up with this woman's mistreatment due to the poor organization of the delivery services and the delivery drivers. If I order food for pickup, it's precisely because I need it to be there on time (which, by the way, was already ready). But this woman expected me to wait with the delivery drivers even though I told her my order was there. In other words, she just had to hand it to me. Long story short, this person shouldn't be in customer service because of her bad attitude. Details like this discourage me from returning. Fortunately, the food is good, and that's appreciated.

To justify a mortgage for breakfast the food needs to be truly unique or at least the very best in its category. Which I can’t say this spot is either of those things. Food is what you would expect, the menu has variety and if you’re looking for a NY comfort deli, you’re in luck. That said, the comfort will not be felt in your wallet. A lox bagel, 3 smallish potato pancakes, an iced latte and some rainbow cookies came out to $50+! Totally understand inflation and rising costs…but this seems insane.

Ordered bagels to go and the service was good and place seemed clean. However the quality of the bagels were below par. We ordered bacon egg and cheese everything bagels. The egg was most definitely premade egg beaters with a slice of Kraft singles. The bagel was burnt and it had the insides of it scooped out which was not asked to be done. Honestly just not great quality for the price.

The staff were lovely. The food was okay. I asked for my bagel toasted but it was cold was I received it. The bagel did taste good. My beverage was short filled as well 🫤

I loved the energy of this establishment, however the Nova Supreme was extremely salty. Also I waited 42 minutes for my order, which is outrageous. The fact that there are dogs running around, jumping on people as they eat, disturbed me. I have two dogs myself, but if you as a dog owner cannot control your pet, this is unacceptable. Maybe this is a Fort Lauderdale thing, because in Houston this would not be condoned. The fact that a random dog jumped on me while I was eating is shocking. Never have I been to place with 10 dogs with hair flappy around, providing an unsanitary environment ever! Please at least let people know online, that dogs are allowed.

Jackie made my experience horrible she really needs training in customer service I order to eat inside then she brings me my food in 6 different take out containers didn’t even offer to put it all on a plate for me to eat inside no apology just we are busy they forgot to put in on a plate so I decided to just go eat my food home wish I never tipped

I had an awful experience with Linda. It was my first time at the restaurant, and I wasn’t sure what I wanted to order. Instead of being helpful, she was disrespectful and made me feel completely uncomfortable. She rushed me, sighed, and gave me attitude for simply taking a moment to decide. If this is how the staff treats guests, I have no interest in ever coming back. I’ll be telling friends and family to avoid this place altogether. Really disappointing because the food was really great.

The quality of the food is extremely poor, and the prices are very high. For two sandwiches, a side, and tip it was close to $50. The bagels are about the worst I've ever had, the cheese was worse than Kraft, the eggs are cheap and GMO'd. I was unable to get past the first bite, and the cashier kindly refunded me for my sandwich. The french toast bites were like cardboard and the "syrup" was a cheaper version of Aunt Jemima. The average customer was a hungover alcoholic washed up from the clubs the night before, mostly women, and a few jocks. The decor is cheap retro modern amazon basics decorations. As a European I am constantly befuddled that Americans think this kind of stuff is edible and even trendy. I'm shocked and saddened at this experience, and I'll gladly give Waffle House a better review.

This morning I ordered a plain bagel with scallion cream cheese and bacon and received a raisin bagel with plain cream cheese. I called the store and the attendant said she couldn't do anything about it and that I should call Uber Eats, but the mistake wasn't Uber Eats's, it was the restaurant's, as they put someone else's order in my bag.

25$ for a sandwich that is not worth 10$. Oredered toasted rye bread, which wasn’t even warm, melted swiss cheese, got two cold slices instead, menu says hot pastrami, felt like a 30 seconds microwave warm up, warm on the edges and cold inside. Don’t let the thickness fool you, that wasn’t 9oz, it probably was 7.5oz, working in the kitchen for 10 years as a chef I can tell the 2oz difference just by the eye, then the hand pick up confirmed it. Tasteless plain egg in my wife’s bagel, turkey bacon seems a lab experiment. The place charges so much compared to the cheap ingredients they use, just look at the pastrami and corned beef they have on display to look up the prices online. Feels like they gotta pay a rent they can’t afford. If you want success you fill up the place through a genuine cuisine. Won’t be back, won’t recommend, will talk about it, other places could use the same location for a better experience.
