Moon Thai is praised for its delicious Thai and sushi, with many highlighting the Lobster Crunch Roll and Pad Thai. The atmosphere is cozy and service is generally attentive. Some find it a bit pricey and drinks inconsistent.

I visited this charming Thai restaurant today, and I must say, the recent change in ownership has brought a fresh and delightful vibe! I ordered the Green Thai Curry paired with a bowl of wholesome brown rice and a crisp salad — the flavors were vibrant and perfectly balanced. To top it all off, I enjoyed a refreshing glass of pink lemonade that complemented the meal beautifully. What truly made the experience special was the delightful front desk server, who has been a part of the eatery for over 11 years. Her polite and engaging service added a warm, personal touch that made me feel right at home. Highly recommend stopping by to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine with friendly hospitality!
✨ We’re always happy when we come here this place never disappoints. The ambiance is super cozy and the service is amazing, making you feel right at home. Today we had the Lobster Crunch Roll (absolutely delicious!) and my husband had the Seafood Fried Rice, full of flavor and freshness. 🍣🍤 Definitely one of our favorite spots for sushi and Thai food.💛
Absolutely spectacular! This restaurant exceeded all my expectations. Every dish, from the Thai cuisine to the sushi, is full of flavor, freshness, and beautifully presented. You can truly taste the quality of the ingredients and the care in every bite. I had the Mussaman Curry, and it was incredibly rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The Lobster Crunch Roll was out of this world! fresh, crispy, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service was kind and attentive from the moment I walked in. This has definitely become one of my favorite spots for an authentic and unforgettable dining experience. If you’re looking for top-quality Thai food and sushi, this place is a must. Highly recommended!
I met and chatted with Will, one of the chef/owners over lunch today. Very nice, approachable dude. The atmosphere was relaxed. The food was beautifully presented, perfectly fresh, delicious and fairly priced. Will be returning.
This hidden gem is our favorite in Broward County. Jose is a magical head chef and we are never disappointed. We are treated like family and the menu is incredible. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity for a delicious meal 😌
My wife and I try a lot of different sushi restaurants across the state. Hands down best atmosphere and food combination. The food is off the charts and the presentation and taste are superb. Would recommend for date or couples date night! We will be back!
ABSOLUTELY Delicious, this is the best Thai and Sushi restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The service was excellent the chef came to the table to help us pick some items and explain some things to us. I live in Lehigh Acres and I would definitely drive the 2:30 minutes to eat here
Fantastic place. Food is authentic and very good. Great portions. There is a happy hour menu (on request) with good size portion meals with options such as pad thai, fried rice, etc. Friendly staff. Parking is free if you can grab one of the parking spots facing the street.
Even though it is not owned by or operated by any Thai or Asian person, this restaurant has always provided good, tasty Thai food. I cannot believe with their good quality of food, I have never had to wait to have dinner here. There are always available tables for us.
Great place for Thai food. We had the Spring Rolls, Tuna Lovers Roll, and Lobster Crunch Roll. Everything was delicious awesome food. Our server/host was great very attentive. I highly recommend this spot just before the beach.
Small place and tasty food and fresh. Great service. Fresh sushi in the cozy area. Silent and cozy. Drink was ok
Amazing food, Definitely try it out ! I got the dumplings and thai noddle soup for appetizers . For dinner me and my sister got the Green dragon roll and the seafood eggplant ! Recommend it !☺️

Food is delicious! They have a great atmosphere for eating, no corny music either. Prices can be on the expensive side. Not much of a beer selection but there are plenty of other drink options!
This place is a hidden gem. If you’re looking for the best Pad Thai and sushi in Fort Lauderdale, or anywhere in Florida, this is the Thai and sushi restaurant you must visit. The quality of the food, plus the very reasonable prices, make it a great combination and a must visit place.
This is our favorite spot for sushi and Thai! First the sushi is one of the few places I feel full eating it afterward so this is the only place I go now for sushi. Sunday and Monday is also buy one roll get one free so you can’t beat that! And I am also a huge curry fan I’ve tried the red curry and green curry and love both! The sushi chef/owner is amazing, he has trained at some of the best restaurants in South Florida and you can really tell when you have his food I’ve told so many people about this place and they all love it:)
This restaurant is always a wonderful experience. I come by for lunch 1 a week and it never disappoints. The food is delicious and the service is fabulous.
Excellent food. And the owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating. This is my new favorite Thai restaurant in South Florida. I drive all the way from Northwest Broward to come here
Super fresh and light pad thai. Absolutely delicious!
This place is our “go-to” when it comes to sushi night. Great ambiance and the service is always quick and attentive. Sushi is fantastic and fresh. We have never had a roll we didn’t like. A quick insiders tip... ask about the Tuna Holiday roll. It’s not on the menu but it is delicious! Not only will you satisfy your taste buds but you will also look like you’re in the know.
Excellent food and service. The menu has a nice variety of Japanese and Thai dishes to choose from. All of the food tastes fresh, and is presented in a lovely way. The servers are all really nice and helpful with suggestions on what to order. It's a nice little restaurant, modern, clean, and cozy. It's quickly becoming one of our favorites!
Amazing place, I’ve been coming to this place for the past 3 years and service has always been on point, I can’t complain. Carolina is really kind and gentle and makes me want to come back, that owner Jose always there to serve and make sure that you have a amazing experience and the chefs have the best hands God bless them. Best of the best.
We have eaten at Thai Moon many times. All menus are outstanding. This is the best Thai Restaurant in Florida. Prices are very reasonable. We just love going to Thai Moon.
We had lunch here and the food was delicious and flavorful. The service was good. The lunch portions were great for a reasonable price. We ordered the Beef with cashew sauce wok and the Pad kee mao, both were very delicious, savory, and spicy. Oh and I highly recommend the Thai tea!
Great Place!! Delicious Food!! I have gotten to know the owners of this Family owned eatery. Jose and Will are the Chef's. I have enjoyed every meal I have ordered and sometimes tell them to "Surprise Me" and they do with another delicious dish. Parking can be tricky at times so I park on the west side of Bayview and walk across the street. The owners will also help you park if needed.
I’ve been here twice and the food is delicious. The service is amazing they were very quick, kind, and helpful. We ordered with UberEats once and they even called us to check on a special request we asked of them. Going back to the food I would have changed nothing it was so good.
Small cozy clean place! Food is top tier price is responsible. Seriously the fried rice is the best I’ve had in a while
Absolutely outstanding place, never busy fantastic food, amazing atmosphere. Been there twice in three weeks. 100% recommend this place to anyone who loves thai food. The pineapple fried rice is amazing the Pad Thai is amazing the sushi is always fresh and AMAZING! I love this place! Highly recommended.
Excellent red curry with seafood and Pad Thai. Must try the edamame. Like none other you have had before. Also, excellent spring rolls. Mario, our waiter, made wonderful recommendations. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience beginning to end!
This place is a jewel of flavor and heart. We were so well taken care of by Ryan, Will and Jacob even came by to make sure we liked our food and the experience. I assured them we were so happy with our delights! All the best to Thai Moon by the Sea!
Some of the best sushi we've ever had and we've had a lot! The mussel appetizer were the most delicious mussels their broth is amazing. The sushi burritos are to die for. And the Tuna lovers roll just beautiful. We are so glad we found this gem through Groupon. We are going to definitely return time and time again. Our great waitress told us about the buy one get one free sushi rolls on Sundays and Mondays. We cant wait!
Great food. Slow service.
My experience at Thai moon was phenomenal!! Love the food at this family owned restaurant and the employees are very attentive and helpful, I decided to try the pad Thai and I felt in love with it and the sushi by Jason the sons owner was so delicious!!I recommend this hidden gem by Fort Lauderdale by the sea.
Hidden gem in a non-descript strip mall on commercial blvd. Been twice now and it impresses.
i come here often with my friends & absolutely love it! it’s such a hidden gem. all their food is so good & the service is always fantastic! if you’re looking for great thai food & service, i’d highly recommend coming here!
Soooo good . Everything I've tried was excellent.
Went for dinner with a buddy who eats there at least once a week. The service was excellent and my sushi was delicious. My friend had wonton soup and chicken satay which was also tasty. I was overzealous and ordered 3 rolls which was more than enough. Go check it out. It's a nice mix of all things Asian in one place and it was quick and affordable without compromising quality.
Good value, great food, quick service. Maybe not as fancy or big of a menu as some competition nearby, it doesn’t need to be that. Small, intimate and great flavor. Thai Moon does food within their own niche and that’s perfectly fine. Worth a trip, will return, will spread word.
Excellent! The food was Amazing! Enjoyed the sushi and the seafood eggplant was delicious! The service was great and atmosphere was nice and inviting. This place is a hidden gem in a strip center. Would definitely go back!
Great service. I wish I knew her name but our waitress was very very polite and respectful. She gave great suggestions and the food came out fast and extremely hot. Inside the restaurant looks very nice; I think they should change the exterior sign so that it compliments the inside decor and feel. The dumplings were great and so was my Thai Red Curry. For two people it cost me about $60 for 2 entrees and 1 appetizer; then about $10 less (overall) after a "$10 for $20 worth" Living Social. ...+ Tip. Good experience. I'd go back eventually.
This restaurant was awesome!! Food was delicious, service was superb, portions were great!!! Very friendly waiter service. Would definitely return!! Five star plus!! My 8 year old grandson loved it and devoured the sushi😂.
Tried Thai Moon by the Sea for the first time tonight and it was delicious!! The menu huge so it was super hard to decide but everything was amazing. Steamed dumplings were full of chicken and shrimp with scallions. Green dragon roll was awesome with eel sauce. My husband had beef and vegetables in a curry sauce and I had shrimp and scallops seared with vegetables in a garlic sauce. Both were tasty and we had to bring some home because the portions were so large. Catalina was our waitress and she was super sweet and attentive, highly recommend this place!!
We are still at the restaurant and we have to post our comments. The atmosphere is wonderful. It's our first time and the chief came and shook our hands! We had the crispy duck and Thai moon fried rice. They were amazing! The tom yum soup is excellent. Service is wonderful. Will be back for sure.
We were looking for somewhere quick near an upcoming appointment that was not fast food. My niece and I were seated right away and ordered within three minutes. Less than ten minutes later we were enjoying delicious lunch specials. The portion size was more than fair for the great lunch price.
I love coming to Thai Moon By The Sea for small intimate gatherings with family especially for Special Occasions, the menu is phenomenal and the food is ALWAYS cooked to perfection, hats off to the Chef! Friendly & attentive staff and warm & cozy atmosphere too! Not to be missed, a hidden GEM! Btw, our fave dishes are: Grouper By The Sea, Crazy Salmon Roll and Shrimp Tempura Roll! 😋💯💥💖🤩😊😍🎊⚘️💝💋🙌👍😘
Basil sauce with scallops and shrimp was so good. The sauce was rich with flavor but not oily or otherwise unhealthy. They put the right amount and types of fresh vegetables together with fresh and perfectly cooked scallops and shrimp. They provided the right amount of rice and I really enjoyed it. Small place but give this a shot if you like seafood and Thai Basil flavor.
My family was in town for a mini vacation and we stumbled across this gem. We ordered the Pad Thai, Chicken Wings, and two orders of shrimp. Let me add the service was great!!!! Very welcoming atmosphere and very good food. Thank you!!!! We will definitely be back.
As soon as I walked into the recently opened Thai Moon By the Sea I knew I was in for a treat. Seated toward the rear in chefs clothing I spotted a very familiar face I recognized from past experiences dining at Galanga back when it was a good restaurant actually using an alpinia galanga as a spice and also from dining at Thai Spice, one of my all-time favorite of Thai restaurants. So, now discovering that he has struck out on his own, I knew from the start it was going to be good. When I entered I was given the warmest of greetings and as a part of their opening, a complimentary glass of wine. As I had been at this location previously when it was a restaurant specializing in Caribbean foods, I was impressed with what they had done with the place. Everything in the interior is new, spotlessly clean with simple clean line but exceptionally good décor. In reviewing both their lunch and dinner menus I found myself having to make some difficult decisions as the menus are some of the most complete and containing some of the most unique of selections one could find. After some thought I selected one of their lobster rolls which came with a seaweed salad and soup. The soup, a sweet and sour, I immediately noted as being one of my favorites as served at Thai Spice, and not just a copy of it, but the real thing. Then when my main entrée arrived I was honestly dazzled by the beauty of its presentation. The roll itself was neatly cut and placed, but what really caught my eye was the seaweed salad served atop ice in a king size martini glass with an LED light glowing just beneath the ice changing colors from reds to blues and yellows; most impressive, most unique and something I've never seen done before. Best of all everything had a superb fresh clean taste with all of the ingredients well balanced and enhancing. My next surprise was when I received my bill. Considering what I had, how it was served, how it was prepared and how delicious was, one of the most reasonable wallet friendly food tabs I've seen. All things considered from food taste, quality, presentation and price, Thai Moon By the Sea is about as good as it get; a Five Star.
Such a wonderful spot. Cozy vibes combined with flavorful dishes. New ownership bringing exciting new dishes after meeting the new owners. Prices are super fair which I love because it’s a dime a dozen to find an affordable decent meal these days so appreciate a place like this. Will be back again!!! Best wishes to the new owners!
Thai Moon by the Sea is absolutely incredible! The new ownership has taken this place to a whole new level. You can feel the difference the moment you walk in the service is warm, the atmosphere is inviting, and everything feels elevated. But the real star here is the food. The sushi is top class fresh, beautifully prepared, and bursting with flavor. Every roll tastes crafted with real care and quality ingredients. The Thai dishes are just as impressive, perfectly balanced and full of authentic flavor. If you haven’t visited since the new owners took over, you’re missing out. This is easily one of the best dining experiences in the area now. Highly recommend!

4/24/2020- Had to go inside , picked up a order of chicken pad Thai. +2 orders of the volcano roll. Pad Thai really good plenty chunks of chicken ,large pieces of green onion . Very tasty Volcano roll are really good and we had a little eel sauce on the side. They packaged everything up nice they gave us chopsticks soy sauce packets. 6/3/19- for a small place it’s got big flavors. It’s a party in your mouth. Every dish hits all your tastebuds. It truly is delious . They just did a little redecorating. Big red leather sofa . My Pad Thai was great light . Some bean sprouts too. G had his usually . We enjoy the atmosphere. Cozy .
I had the chicken pad thia and Tom Kha soup - both were So Good - I would order both again. My husband got the full Red Snapper with lemon butter sauce - to be blunt, it was gross. He picked through it. I think if it had been fileted and served it would have been more appealing- but it was hard to get past trying to pick through so many bones. I would go back though, avoiding the snapper.
This place is a 2 min. walk from our home. The food is decent but a little pricey esp the ginger beer. I have had better but also worst.

Went to Thai Moon on 7/2 around 7:30 pm with a friend. I forgot I had some credits to use via restaurant.com for certificates, and both my friend and I were interested in getting some Thai that evening. I called to make sure they still honored the certificates being restaurant.com seems to be dying off to the likes of Groupon and Living Social, plus their restaurant list needs to be updated for some of the options they listed were permanently closed for one reason or another. After confirming the certificates would be accepted, we went on our way. The location was fairly easy to find just a couple doors down from the Ambry on the south side of Commercial and Bayview in a plaza. From the outside, it didn't look like much and appeared small, but upon entering it was larger than it appeared and clean. It was somewhat dimly lit for ambiance. There were a few people there, and it appeared they were following social distancing and usage of masks. The staff were all very friendly and attentive throughout the entire time there. We started with an order of coconut lemongrass sake (the make was Moonstone) which the waiter brought out and had us try to make sure it was to our liking. It was so he served our first round and brought a proper container with ice to keep the sake cool. I started with an order of Tom Kha soup with chicken, and my friend ordered the same but with shrimp. The soups were excellent in flavor and had a nice amount of protein in each. For our entree I ordered their Musaman curry with beef, and my friend got their Green curry with pork. Both were excellent in flavor. The Musaman had a light sweetness with a little heat as requested when ordering, and the Green had a little sweetness and some earthiness to it. The curries came out in large bowls filled with veggies and protein. They came with a side of jasmine rice, but it was a small amount. We ended up ordering an additional serving of rice which made the ratio of rice to curry perfect soaking in all the sauce and just right. The waiter also brought with the entrees three spice bowls for use, which we enjoyed adding to the rice. The entrees were spectacular in flavor and quite filling, likely even without the additional rice, but we are two big boys so we knew we needed more. We ended up taking some of our entrees home which the waiter offered to bag for us. I'd say the only reasons for us that the restaurant doesn't get 5 stars is the tables didn't have their own lighting which would have helped with ambiance and also viewing the menu better. My friend had to pull out his phone and use the flashlight to see better, but he is kind of old so no fault to Thai Moon on that part. Also, the portion of rice that came with the entree could have been a little larger preventing to have to order more. Again, we are big boys so maybe for others the amount that comes with it is right, but after we ordered the additional amount and mixed it with the curries it was fantastic. With that said. I really would give them 4.25 - 4.5 stars but the review system doesn't accommodate for it. All in all, we really enjoyed the meal and the service, and we plan on visiting again in the near future. Perhaps next time we will remember to take a few pics of the food and update the post.
I'm not a huge Thai fan but my parents were in town and that's really the only time my boyfriend gets to eat Thai (they all love it). I was extremely excited when I found something on the menu that I actually really liked! They were also very accommodating with my food allergies. My boyfriend might be in luck because now there's a Thai place I will actually suggest for dinner sometime!
Nice quite place. Nice staff. Good attentive service. I had the Lunch Special Lobster Roll, but I did not like it. Other than that everything else was good. Be sure you keep an eye on your parking meter outside.
Solid Thai food for the price. As a vegetarian, there were a good number of choices to choose from. I got the Rad Nar, which was pretty well done. Noodles were tender, broccoli was fresh and crunchy still, and the gravy was flavorful. My friends got the boat noodles and seemed to enjoy their dishes a lot as well. Green papaya salad was pretty tasty. The Thai Iced Tea was a bit too sweet for me though.
First time trying Thai Moon. (Takeout) we ordered 1 chicken Pad Thai and 1 shrimp Pad Thai, and spring rolls. In my experience and opinion, if a restaurant can make a good pad Thai dish, more than likely the rest of the food will be good. In this case, yes! The sauce is delicious and taste like what we had in Thailand. Noodles cooked just right and they have a good ratio of protein (shrimp/chicken). The spring rolls were nice and crunchy and tasty too. We'll definitely eat/order from here again. Don't judge the outside of the restaurant! Go inside and check it out.
Food was good, ordered the pad thai definitely could’ve used less sauce. If you don’t like extra wet pad thai mention it to staff.
A gem in the busy street mall. I almost could not find this restaurant. Upon looking many time, we found it as the door was kind of hidden next to a massage place. The interior is quite dim. There were a few tables. I did not expect much of their food. Well, I was wrong. The food was excellent. The sashime was very fresh and the service was great. I could not be much happier.
Hallelujah holler BACK this place is so good! Hubs and I went today and LOVED what we had. I'm always hesitant to get Pad Thai because it will never measure up to my cousin's recipe which is pretty gold standard. This was AS good and I literally wanted to cry because I now know where to come for more! And for a hungry five months preggo to have found solid noms, this discovery is EVERYTHING. Just enough sauce, perfect balance of sour, sweet and savory with PERFECTLY cooked shrimp. The fresh spring rolls were gorgeous and we seriously would have bathed in that yellow curry if they'd have allowed it. Not only was everything delicious, but the service was super friendly and lightning quick. We are SO coming here again...and again, and again...you get the picture.
Cute little hole in the wall restaurant kind of hidden in a massage parlor strip mall on Commercial Blvd. west of the bridge. Surprisingly comfortable clean and a nice atmosphere! Food was tasty and fresh and well priced. After hesitation going in because of the outside appearance we were so glad we did. The staff was nice as well.
The pad thai is quite sweet. For my palette, I had to take it home and add vegetables and other sauces to mellow out the sweetness. The chicken was tender. The pad kee mao tasted traditional, but used rice stick noodles, not wide, if you're looking for that. The pork was extremely dry in that dish. The service was kind and attentive. It wasn't busy when we were there. The prices are decently higher than listed on their website, just FYI.
Second time was much better, food taste was delicious and the service was courteous. 4/28/23 Worst place for a drink, drinks are made poorly with low quality alcohol🫣 To be fair this Thai food was good in taste. Service at the table was mediocre. No water refill, needed to ask twice for sauces, napkins and the margarita was horrible hot and bad no flavor, the lycheesake was also bad hot . For sure the bartender does not know how to shake and create drinks.

Really disappointed in this experience. Despite it being a delivery order that also had delivery issues, when I finally got my food I was so excited because I’ve heard great things about this restaurant, so this review is only for the food itself. I got dumplings, edamame, and pad Thai. The dumplings were delicious! Perfectly cooked, great sauce, they were really wonderful. I tried the edamame next, and if I could give negative 5 stars I would. I was expecting the usual edamame that’s steamed, this was not only steamed, but it was CHARRED. The burnt smell stayed in my house even after I took this to the trash outside because it was so pungently burnt. I tried 3 pieces and dug around to see if any weren’t burnt, it was horrible—just char. The outer shell burn taste seeps inside the edamame and gives it a nauseating taste, burnt edamame is a really ugly flavor. The pad Thai was also not what I had hoped. It was sour? Not at all what I’m used to of pad Thai and I had selected mild spice. There was no spice, just the sour flavor that I have never had when ordering pad Thai elsewhere. Overall, not a fan of this experience, disappointing as a first time customer not having the same experience of friends with rave reviews. Maybe would be better in house! Thank you at least for the delicious dumplings, Moon Thai.
Great lil place for a quick grab of Thai food (more of a Chinese take out restaurant feel though). Selection and quality of Asian dishes (Thai curry, sushi, etc) are great and very tasty. Service seems quick and friendly. Very quaint and simple in appearance, when compared to the regular elaborate decor of the typical Soflo Thai restaurants. Overall nice experience and affordable pricing.
Food was ok, I'd not consider it authentic. The person who took the order didn't seem to know the menu much. My dish contained mushrooms, shitake to be precise. Person who took my order did not know what shitake was nor could they confirm the '1 slice of shitake' description. It was my first time ordering from them, I don't plan on going back.
Ordered the Pad Thai with tofu. The noodles had obviously been sitting too long and was a little swollen and soggy. The tofu was fried dried and was place on top of the noodles. It was dry and not the least bit appetizing. The salad with the peanut dressing was delicious. The establishment was clean and nice inside.
It's to expensive for what you get. I went the other day and it was crazy busy. Workers were clearly stressed. The tom Kha soup was the worst I've had anywhere. I love Tom Kha soup but it seemed watered down. Some of their food is good but its way way overpriced. I would eat here regularly if the pricing wasn't ridiculous for what you get
Came by here on a Tuesday. It was pretty quiet. The place is pretty dated and nothing special. We ordered some satay (really chewy and not done well), spring rolls (decent). We had an order of pad thai (pretty good) and drunken noodles (decent). The service was good. There is no one who is Thai who works here this is reflected in the fact that food is not very authentic. In true south Florida style, they have a big sushi menu as usual, which is always an oddity you see down here. Bathroom is gross and very dated, it was not clean at all. Will not be back.
The service and server was very friendly. The spring rolls as a starter was cold inside, so we sent them back. When they came back, it was the same half eaten spring rolls as we sent back (they could have just fried some new for us, at least they were warm this time)…. The entrees (pad Thai) was of really good taste and portion sides was big. Unfortunately the soda was blend and tasted almost only water. Overall food was okej. The service was great.
Saw the sign when the bridge was up so we stopped for lunch. Service was quick, food came out fast. Prices are reasonable for lunch. Personally the soup was excellent, the sauces were rather thick for my taste.
Excellent lunch special!! I took the wrong order on way out and they ran out and switched thank goodness! Food and service was amazing!! Update: Food now has changed. I always order the Combination rice but they literally only give 1 small piece of each meat. Mostly all rice for $17 - not worth it.
The positives: The server who assisted me was very friendly and helpful! The interior was clean and beautiful. The negative: The coconut soup I always order and love was very bland. My pad Thai was equally bland with very little sauce. It tasted like the food was old from the night before. I hate that my favorite place to grab Thai was such a disappointment this time. I’m hoping this was just an off night.

Definitely not authentic Thai. Of all the Thai restaurants I’ve had across America this one doesn’t do much for me. Food was bland and lacked flavor. Maybe the had an off day but the 3 of us hated our food.
The dumplings tasted like it was microwaved (cold on the outside with some hot spots in the middle). Was also kind oh hard, defiantly not fresh. Same applies to the volcano roll. The food is not worth the price.
Tried this place with some friends. Waitress had zero personality and the service was robotic. My friend ordered the ribeye steak, rear and it came out well done. It's almost impossible to order a steak rear and have it come out well done unless the waitress didn't understand the order. I ordered some seafood dish with crispy eggplant which wasn't that good. The decor of the restaurant is very dated and cheap. Ceiling looks like it's about to fall down. The place is called, Thai Moon but the have Japanese, Thai and Burritos on the menu! What? Here's some great advice; if you want great Thai food, go to Thai Spice on Commercial.....you won't be disappointed!
Ordered food online and waited 30 minutes for my food for them to tell me they gave my order I paid for to someone else. They then proceeded to tell me I needed to wait so they could remake it. When I asked what I would get for the inconvenience the woman responded "what inconvenience" and stated them giving someone else my food was not their problem and I needed to wait. Horrible service!!!
Today we had a very salty lunch!!! Very disappointed!!! When we ordered our food, we specifically requested that everything should be less salty, less sodium. We ordered the vegetable fried rice, pad thai noodles with chicken and shrimp, and tom yum soup, but they were all salty. Their waitress asked if we wanted the vegetable fried rice spicy, mild or medium, we said, "not spicy", but then they put a lot of black pepper in the fried rice to make it spicy. My husband couldn't eat it. It was our second time and also last time here. Why was it so difficult to fulfill your customers' request? So far the Moon Thai restaurant in Coral Springs is the best located on Westview drive.
Food just isn't very good. This place used to be my go-to at one time, however the quality of the food has gone downhill. It also seems like the last 2 times I went, the order is always incomplete. If a dish calls for avocado, you never get it, you have to ask "where is the avocado" and they send you 4 tiny slices of avocado. Also, the sushi rolls are skimpy. There are FAR better thai places in the area. Don't waste you money here. The food is fair, at best.
Service was okay and the two sushi rolls we had were tasty, however, we both then spent all night in the bathroom getting sick so there's that! Also was not a fan of our waitress wiping down the table before we even paid our bill and were still sitting at it. Spent the last ten minutes of our meal awkwardly trying to avoid the wet surface of our table. Honestly I would not recommend this restaurant and will not return again.
I would rate 0 The worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. Only one server was nice but the food had no seasoning and the drinks tasted like dishwater. After sending multiple dishes back ( mind you I NEVER do that this place just needed them to be sent back) the sever was rude and unprofessional. Only one server was extremely nice and understood. It wasn’t only me but multiple people returned their food back
Mixed Japanese and Thai restaurant, and I would bet the chef is neither. The Japanese rolls are floppy and fall apart. Their pad kee mao is made with packaged rice noodles. My scallop dish was God awful.. scallops were definitely cooked from frozen and not seared, and were rubbery and flavorless. They add Japanese Kewpee mayo TO EVERY DISH. Look, with so many decent thai places around today, I wouldn't return to this one. Sorry.
Extremely disappointed with our order. It took almost two hours for delivery. Food came cold, rice was spilled all over. Our sushi rolls tasted of stale tempura and very chewy seaweed. The worst rolls of my life. $17 each, small and not even cut properly. The curry was ok. Very expensive order for the poorest quality. Won’t be eating from here again.
Been here twice and they over charged me both times. The food is also no where near as good as it used to be. Will not be coming back
Ordered here through Uber eats the food was not only not good enough to finish, I got sick. I spent the night throwing up until my mouth and throat hurt.
I ordered the beef with peppers and onions with a side of fried rice since the only option was white rice, the didnt bring my rice had to remind them that I ordered it. The beef was dry and overcooked cooked. Waitress was not very attentive. My hot tea was cold had to have them remake and was still not hot to be hot tea. Expensive very small portions I would not dibe there again
