We made a reservation, but we were the only people in there on a Thursday evening. There was a super fishy smell in the restaurant, so I didn’t order any fish. Service was excellent, again, because we were the only ones in there. Our host brought us water after he sat us. A different person came with lemon, cucumber and limes for you to add. A third person came with bread and dipping sauce, choice of oil or balsamic vinegar. I started with a $19 “Death in paradise”. It was ok. I tried to order a draft beer for my second drink, but there weren’t any drafts, so I stayed with my cucumber water. My meal was the $29 half chicken. It was good, but it needed a green vegetable. I understand it’s in the hotel, but I thought it was expensive for the experience. I think there are better restaurants in town.

Celebrating my daughter’s 40th birthday, we went to Terrace grill not too far from the main drag of Fort Lauderdale. We parked across the street from the Delmar hotel as this restaurant sits right next to it. They have valet parking but choose to use the pay street option. Our reservation was 6:15 PM. I highly recommend the early times because an hour later, it was full and very busy. We were greeted by a nice charming hostess who directed us to our table, we had zero waiting time and soon after we were welcomed by Ismail, our server. He was friendly, very attentive and made our visit an unforgettable one with top knotch service. He was very helpful with the wine selection and provided tasting samples before our final decision. Moreover, he explained the specials from the chef for the evening and took our food order. Our food was excellent, cooked to perfection and was well presented. The food portions were satisfying and not stuffy. All our dishes were delicious (see our pics) we had no preference over each other. The oysters 🦪 were fresh and tasteful that we had to order twice because of it. We topped our evening with their signature chocolate chip cookie, vanilla and chocolate icecream with all the toppings (caramel syrup , M&M’s and, sprinkles) gave my daughter a big smile. The ambience was nice. I would have preferred a little more light but it complemented with the beautiful decor. Overall excellent service and food. Will visit again. On a side note, if you are in a party mood after your dinner, you can hop on the elevator and visit the Sparrow … a DJ led lounge and bar on the 25th floor of the hotel.

I recently visited Terrace Grill after a hike and had a mixed experience. We ordered the Black Beans and Corn Burger, both vegan and with cheese. The taste was decent – not outstanding, but not bad either. It was nice to find a vegan option after a hike, but I was a bit disappointed with the labeling. Some dishes had a green leaf icon, which typically signifies vegetarian food, but they weren't. This was confusing and misleading. The hot fries and hot chocolate were a highlight, especially in the cold weather. There was also a good selection of condiments like ketchup, mayo, mustard, and pickles, which I enjoyed. Overall, it was a medium experience. The place was very crowded, likely due to peak season. While there was plenty of parking space, it was tough to find a spot nearby. If you're looking for a decent meal post-hike, Terrace Grill is a good choice, but don't expect to be blown away specially for vegetarians.

I enjoyed a wonderful Christmas day brunch here with my friends. The atmosphere is pretty yet warm. Loved the Art Deco inspired interior. Our waitstaff was professional and efficient. The food was delicious. We tried their hangover burger and fries, fried chicken and waffles, croc madame, berry waffles and margherita pizza. Overall a very good meal and enjoyable experience!

Beautiful restaurant. Had a lovely time celebrating my sons 25th birthday. The restaurant is inside a hotel, has valet and a parking garage. The ambiance was cool and laid back. We had Moscow mules for drinks and a margarita pizza as an appetizer. The restaurant has an outdoor terrace but it’s still too warm to be out. We ordered short ribs, ravioli and chicken Alfredo. Has a decent selection of plates but more pasta than anything else. Great place for couples.

Salmon was properly cooked but lacked seasoning. The Broccolini blanch and seared technique may have had to much time in the pan but over all great service. The spaghetti with muscles needed a little more salt and they felt a little on the bland side. I would come back and try the burger. Almost forgot the pork belly was amazing!!

Very nice atmosphere, it is well done. Service was pretty good. Food not so much.. The Burrata salad had a few scant arugula pieces and the burrata was not flavorful or creamy. The pasta was over cooked, salty and the clams had so much grit! Restaurant has a lot of potential, but I won’t go back.

Beautiful restaurant, amazing cocktails, excellent service. The food is hit or miss. The tuna tartare was amazing and gives me hope for the place, and is the reason I’ll go back. The short rib was also incredible. The (only) burger they have on the menu was like a concession stand patty, thin and sad. “Grass fed” makes it seem like it would be a nice juicy fresh burger but it was a big let down. The Bun tasted stale also. The creamed spinach had little to no flavor. Same for the Mac and cheese, very sad. But I will be back to try other dishes and to get the tuna tartare again.

It’s a beautiful aesthetic and perfect for photo ops. It was such a bad experience that I don’t even know where to start. I booked a reservation for four people and it was simple and easy. A little too easy. When we arrived we noticed that it was rather empty but we still decided to give it a shot. We sat and the waiter swiftly gave us some water. Then another person came with lemons, limes and cucumber for the water which was greatly appreciated. The service was top notch, at least that’s how it felt. The menu was on the pricey side. We went for brunch and they offered bottomless drinks for $35. That’s on the expensive side so we did not get the bottomless. They also have cocktails where they started at $16 so we all just drank water instead. We then ordered our food, one chicken and waffles, a cinnamon bread, shrimp and grits, avocado Benedict and a shashuka. We didn’t order any cocktails. So the food should’ve came out fast. Not the case. After 45 minutes of waiting, we simply left because it took too long for the food to come. I wouldn’t come back here, they simply missed the mark and I don’t recommend at all.

The place is beautiful and the service is really good as well. The food however (which is the point of going to a restaurant) is bad, I can’t even say average. That was our Terrace Tower and Assorted Bagels for $65 (literally what you see there, not enough salmon or fish for 1 person to eat, much less share) plus 5 bagels. The salmon wasn’t fresh so we didn’t eat it, just had some slices of tomatoes and cucumber. The pizza is exactly what you see in the picture. Dry with no cheese, another $16 wasted. We just ordered the bill and left hungry and disappointed. Don’t recommend it at all.
