Best late night eat in Fort Lauderdale—open until 4am. Just when I thought I’d have to settle for mediocre food in the middle of the night, this place came through and saved the day. Their uni shooter and conch salad were one of a kind, delicious and hard to find anywhere else.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time here last night. The vibes in that place are immaculate. The music was super chill, the service was amazing, and the food was absolutely delicious. They bring everything quick and we just couldn’t stop talking about how good of an experience we had! Just moving to the area, we definitely found our new sushi spot. 10/10

We ordered a sushi-sashimi combination. Everything had a luscious taste. It's amazing! Never had a really fresh sashimi-sushi like this for a long time. The food was really great. We enjoy dining at Sushi Song! Will definitely come back and try other rolls.

Stopped in for some late-nite Sushi and will forsure be coming back here. The KC Salmon app was our favorite by far 💯. Bento box rounded out a solid meal alongside sake 🍶and good company. Staff & fun environment also were notable. Hope to checkout the Deerfield beach location next while up that way 📍

Best sushi in 20 mile radius. Fish is very fresh. Open super late. Staff isn't the most outgoing or always very tentative but get the job done. Great music Creative atmosphere Menu could change every once in a while Altogether it's one of my favorite places to just get sushi.

I love this place, and the downtown Fort Lauderdale location- but they need to fix their phones! I ordered delivery, and had to call to confirm a detail. The website listed number didn’t work, the google listed number worked, but upon choosing a number prompt (from the answering recording) it would constantly disconnect. Currently waiting for food to arrive and hoping for the best!

Shelby is such an amazing waitress, one of the best that I have come across. She was so welcoming and made sure that me and my friends were good every few minutes. I have never had a more personable waitress. I had the “shut up Liz” and “volcano roll” and it was sensational! I would definitely recommend going to this place and if you can, ask for Shelby, you won’t be sorry. Such great service and such great food. Shout out to Shelby for being such a sweet waitress. I look forward to going again. 🙂

The sushi was fantastic practically melted in my mouth it was so good. Our server Eric did a truly exceptional job and went above and beyond not only in service but he also had great charisma and matched the over all quality of the food. 10/10 recommend :)

I walked in just before closing—one of those “I know I’m late, but I had to try” moments. Jose didn’t just welcome me in; he made the impossible happen. The kitchen was already closed, yet he prepared one of the most intricate sushi rolls on the menu. And it was perfect. Beautifully presented, packed with flavor, and honestly, even better than I expected that late at night. Service like that is rare. Sushi like that is rarer. If you’re looking for both, this is the place. Thank you, Jose—you made my night.

Took my close friend out for dinner here for his birthday. Had 4-5 sets of sushi rolls. All rolls were delicious! The environment was intimate and welcoming. Will be back and highly recommend.

I’ve been all up and down the east coast and the west coast for work and I have to say these guys deliver. Good Spicy Tuna, Miso, & California rolls. A nice hidden gem in Ft. Lauderdale.

We had two premium sakes which is 350 ml. And it was about $90… which of the native because each bottle served about eight shots We are from Denver, Colorado, and normally eat at Hapa or sushi down The quality is decent and the Service is pretty relaxed What I love the most is we came here at 9 AM after spending a day drinking on Deerfield Beach And not a lot of restaurants nearby offer sushi so this place really stood out We did the lobster volcano roll, and the Japanese red hot roll It was outstanding and I have to say the quality is comparable to Hapa sushi Great for late night sushi and the food was not bland

Delicious late night (4a) sushi stop with extraordinary food. Tried the A1A lobster specialty roll ($22 I believe), and the (very seafood) miso soup. Service was excellent but not forced. Pictured is the last bit of the lobster roll (looked too good to take a picture of first).

Delicious, super obvious that they use the freshest fish and ingredients. Great spot for a lowkey bite alone or with friends. I had the octopus salad (4.5/5) and their new special, the lemondrop roll (4/5). Both were great but now I want to come back and try some of their other rolls to find one that’s a 5/5 star for me 🌟

Listen… if I had a friend who didn’t like sushi And I took them to this restaurant they would fall in love with sushi!!!! It’s that good! I highly doubt there’s a better sushi place in Fort Lauderdale and probably all of South Florida. The quality and freshness is off the charts!!!! My husband and I devoured their seaweed salad, A1A roll, and Spiderman roll… needless to say, we’ve found our new sushi spot 😋.

This place is a hidden gem on 2nd St. It is open daily from 11:30 am until 4 am. If you need something quick, healthy, and delicious, this is the spot!! Seaweed salad and veggie is a must-try for vegans in the area.

Dropped in for a late night bite on a chilly evening. I started with the Tom yum miso soup. Just enough shrimp and a real kick to it. This brought the spice. The hot sake complemented the soup well. I chose the volcano roll and it was all that plus more. The fish on top of the roll was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. The fish eggs as a topper brought the crunch I didn't know I needed.... plenty of eel sauce and spicy mayo. So filling! Would recommend and come again. Food Service was quick and the server was attentive.

sushi song is AMAZING! great quality fish and unique rolls. we also got the gyoza for an appetizer and it was delicious - the sauce was so good!!! our server paul was wonderful! he recommended a great roll that ended up being our favorite of the night. we will be back for the good food and paul!! :)

Delicious specialty sushis were a hit. Everything is very fresh. Service and food delicious. The atmosphere is a bit dark and loud music that wasn't our taste, but that's all relative to preference.

We found the nearest place on Google Maps and decided to stop by for a meal on our way to Delray. The rolls were decent, and the service was good. The 20% gratuity included in the bill wasn’t great though.

No matter what location you visit in this now 11 store strong chain one can appreciate the consistency on all levels that that is delivered every night. Server Nam at the downtown location is particularly upbeat with a pleasant bubbly personality. A true credit to the organization.

Small downtown FTL sushi spot open til 4am for the nite owls. Food quality was good, however portion sizes relative to the $$ left me a bit wanting. Service was friendly and competent but nothing above and beyond the minimum. May try another location to give them a fair shake, but not in a rush. Food was great and the waitresses were attentive. I had the spicy Japan and it was good. Only reason I didn't give the expected a 4 star is the music selection became terrible. We got there at 9:40pm - music was fine but became more explicit and not what someone would want to hear when chewing. I felt like I was in a night club. Sadly, we couldn't eat fast enough to leave.

Average. Made me wait almost 40min after I arrived to pick up my order. Small rolls and sashimi slices. I ordered a spider roll and they gave me a salmon roll so I got ripped off on that. Goyza was really soggy. Employees look and act miserable. Won't be back.

So I was here a couple years ago and Loved it. However, my last experience was not great. Before ordering I noticed something smelled like it was burning, smell went away- thought nothing of it. Ordered the Spider-Man & Red Dragon Roll. one bite into the Spider-Man and immediately it tasted of this burnt flavor. Completely stained the flavor of the food. I mentioned it to the waitress and her response was “are you sure it’s not just the wine?” Like what??????? NO! I gave it to my friend to try and she tasted it too. It was really hard to miss. Both rolls come w tuna, The tuna was not good. Texture was off and fell apart like jello when picked up with the chopsticks. I threw up that night. My friend threw up the next morning. Thanks for taking my complaint seriously…. Will not be returning. So much better Sushi throughout the rest of South Florida. Try another spot.

I don't write many reviews - they are usually reserved for occasions I am either extremely impressed or pretty disappointed. I decided to try this spot out for lunch on a Friday just after 1PM... I was the only person in the place (which should have been red flag one). The staff was very friendly (and the only reason for 2 instead of 1 stars). However if big prices and small portions are not your jam better to go almost anywhere else. I got a 17 dollar roll (which was a mid priced roll). The pieces were extremely small (just larger than a quarter in diameter) and the food was mediocre at best. I have been to places where rolls seem over priced until they come to the table where you become more understanding because the portion justifies it. Not the case here. After eating lunch here I literally drove directly to another establishment and purchased lunch again to be satiated. I felt like I got jacked and talked to myself about the mugging all the way there. VERY Disappointing. Now I know. Will not return.

I rather get my sushi from a small Japanese market in Fort Lauderdale, than this place. No I won't share the name because I don't want prices of their $9-$11 rolls going up to $15 because of the hype. Back to this place, below average sushi, everything tastes the same, the place is tiny inside and we sat outside, but the waitress literally dropped off the food and disappeared. As a local guide I've had at least 20 sushi spots in the area and this one is a Hard Pass!

Late night stop. Employees allowed homeless to solicit to patrons for food and drinks inside at seated tables. There was an extremely loud/ drunk party of 4 that was obnoxious that overpowered the whole restaurant that really ruined the atmosphere as the average roll is $25 and and for that expected a lot better than what I’d get at a fast food chain at midnight. The waitress dropped of the food and never came back to refill drinks. Really not worth it to me. Maybe takeout would be a better option.

A long time staple in my diet sushi song has been good to me for the last decade. I've always known sushi song as the sushi spot that never misses, perfect sized roll, fresh fish every time, correct portions in my roll and rice that just will not fall apart. The Hollywood location will change the way you think about beef with the short rib appetizer and their shrimp shumai is killing the game, with that said, I see a downward spiral. The last few times I ordered (Ft. Lauderdale location because Hollywood is temporarily closed) it came luke warm and not what I'm used to from this place. My crab roll needed a magnifying glass to spot the crab in it, my ala carte baby octopus turned to Mush when I tried to pick it up and they don't offer the ribs at all. I sure hope they see this and get on the problem and back to their former glory because they had it figured out.

One of the worst places I’ve ever been to. Sushi were tiny, salad portions were small, and the taste — honestly, not great. Food: 4/10 Service: 1/10 Atmosphere: 3/10 — very gloomy and freezing cold, super uncomfortable. Prices are way too high for what you get. Just being honest here — not hating, just sharing a real experience. I personally wish I’d seen a review like this before coming. Most of what I read were fake 5-star reviews, probably bots. Now I know better.

I wonder whether it’s tuna or cardboard. Mandatory 20% tips. I felt more tired after swallowing these strange things.

To start the night I wasn't very impressed with their menu options. I felt that there are very few options with many of them being very basic, or really overpriced. I went with the sushi combo and the quality of the fish was good, the miso soup was very flavorful. The service was probably the biggest dissatisfaction. Every time we picked a food item he made strange comments on what we had ordered, couldn't remember who ordered what, and despite being told at the beginning that we wanted separate checks he put it all in the same tab and at the end when we got our bill after stating again that we needed separate checks he proceeded to say that what was easiest for him was to split the check in half. I've worked in food service before, and what is important if not what is easiest to the server it's what the costumer needs, not only that, but should have created separate checks to begin with to make it easier for him at the end to cash out separate checks. The restaurant is a small corner shop, with a nice modern interior.

I had the worst shrimp tempura in my entire life. 3 chefs back there and they obviously dont know what they are doing. Paul our waiter was very entertaining and theatrical so he got a nice tip but I will never go back that is for sure! SO disappointed!!!!

It’s October 2025 and I came here to update my review. Haven’t been to this place in probably a few years but decided to give it a chance. Ordered DoorDash for two rolls and the total was $50. Fine, it’s sushi, it’s going to be pricey. What I didn’t expect was to receive gas station grade, TINY sushi rolls. They didn’t even add any sauces. I seriously felt scammed. Never ever going here again and I take back my original review. This place went to hell. Delicious sushi, amazing service, perfect location. Had a great time!

We waited an hour for our food. The staff was unpleasant and we were almost late for theater. They got my order wrong after I specifically said HAND ROLL and my friends salmon. Then they added an automatic 20% gratuity fee. I recommend SUSHI SAKE. It's also a sushi place in walking distance of the theater. Their ordering is prompt. You aren't waiting an hour for food to come out. Staff is also pleasant. Also, they have a very nice Happy Hour so the price is much better. Never had a surprise gratuity fee either. Sushi Song food wasn't bad but honestly with everything else going on I won't eat here again. Seriously, an hour to wait?
