We were a group of five family members celebrating New Year’s Eve together, and this was our second year in a row celebrating at Terrazas at Lyfe. Once again, we had an absolutely wonderful time. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was festive and welcoming, with attentive, high-quality service throughout the evening, the staff was very attentive and professional. The food was outstanding, the Raw Bar and Hot Hors d’Oeuvres were exceptional, full of flavor and beautifully presented. For the main course, both the Surf & Turf and the Dorada were delicious and perfectly prepared. The Dj music set the perfect tone for the night, and the fireworks at the end were the perfect finale. It was truly a memorable night, and as always, we had an amazing experience. Terrazas never disappoints and has become a place we return to for special celebration

Yesterday I came to celebrate my birthday with my family and I must say I had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was lively with music and people singing happily. The food was delicious; Argentinian beef never disappoints. Homemade flavors, nothing artificial. I wish they had bigger grills, but overall the food was very good. I also tried an arugula and prosciutto flatbread; it was so good I didn't even take a picture. It was flavorful, with just the right amount of cheese. My dessert was a lava cake with ice cream—a perfect combination. I loved it. And a special thanks to Juana, our waitress, who was always attentive and helpful. We were able to chat with her quite a bit, and she was attentive to all our needs. Thank you so much for making this evening even more wonderful. And the view? Simply beautiful. I will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience! Worth every penny. The bottomless mimosas for $29 were such a great value, and the food was outstanding. My husband went back for seconds (and thirds!) and polished off the salmon and the prime rib—everything was incredibly fresh and full of flavour. David was an exceptional server.. attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better. They even had colouring pages for our 5-year-old, which we truly appreciated and made it a relaxed outing for the whole family. She ended up breaking a plate by accident and they made no fuss about it. The food displays were absolutely gorgeous and thoughtfully presented. Overall, a wonderful dining experience. We will definitely be back! (Stock up on the beef empanadas, and make sure to check out the pasta bar).

I’ve been coming here for years. Great place to have a spread for brunch! Brunch is on Sundays @ 11am & 1pm. Our server David went above and beyond for our party of 15. It was my moms birthday and treated us like royalty. Even the guest were interacting with us and having a good time. There was an omelette bar, a pastry bar outside & the views are amazing. They validated more cars than they were supposed to so most of the party had free parking. They might not do that for everybody though, so carpooling is a good option. There is a gratuity of 18% automatically added to the total bill. It was a little warm inside because of all the sternos so one of the staff brought a fan to our section, but overall it was great! 10 out 10. Highly recommend!!!

I have been going to this place for almost 4 years since I moved here and I love it. Everybody is very attentive specially Nelson & John. The atmosphere is always good. I love going for brunch on Sundays. The food is amazing. The dj is always playing great music and i usually get seated out if requested and Daniel always provides great service too! When at Hallandale Beach you must stop at Terrazas! We Girls went for a Cafecito and ended up staying for their delicious Brunch and Bottomless Mimosas. The 30 min stop turned into an all day hang out. The Staff felt like family by the end and Jimmy The Bartender was Amazing!!!! He kept the drinks coming and made us not want to leave. We had such a blast! Great place to be with Friends or Family. Can’t wait to come back and this time bring the fam.

Came here for a mother's day brunch with a large party of 24. The hostess were charming and helpful and the waiter Andres was excellent. The buffet itself was very well thought out and lots of varieties. The different ceviches and seafood were the highlights. The mojo pork and flank steak with chimichurri were very flavorful. The desserts in sheer variety and taste were outstanding. Highly recommend. The only suggestion is to have valet be more value priced. Hotel guests pay $35+tax but restaurant guests have to pay $50+tax. The public lot around the corner is much more reasonable at $16 for 4 hours.

After a long day of travel Terrazas was just what we needed to get into the beach vibe. The patio had music and the perfect breeze. The mahi sandwich was delicious and our server Edwin was kind and quick. Definitely would return.

Amazing Brunch Experience! Fantastic place for Sunday brunch! Located on the 9th floor of the Lyfe hotel you get a stunning view of the city on one side and the beautiful ocean waters on the other. I’d say the vibes are laidback yet classy. The service was prompt and friendly — our server Edwin, was attentive and gave great menu recommendations. With a waffle station, pasta station, fruit bar, pastry station along with an extensive menu option, there is surely something for everyone. I ordered waffles with fresh fruit, fettuccini Alfredo and rigatoni bolognese all of which were amazing. The Rigatoni was soooooo delicious and packed with flavor!!!! I could just taste all the Fresh ingredients. I also ordered a mimosa which was refreshing. Overall, the food & ambiance was top-notch, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. This is definitely a spot I’ll be visiting again for brunch and telling my friends & family about. I Highly recommend it!

I had an amazing brunch at Terrazzas at Lyfe with 4 of my best friends! The food selection was top-notch!!! We loved the salad bar, seafood station, omelette station, and the delicious fruit and dessert bar. I had a refreshing mojito, a seafood omelette, and a hearty side of salmon and it was fantastic. David was our server and he had a great personality… we even got a selfie! The service was attentive and friendly, making the experience even better. The only downside was the location itself—it’s a bit tight and not very spacious, and the valet parking was mandatory and quite busy. But overall, it was a wonderful brunch, and I can’t wait to come back! I highly recommend for a great meal with friends!!!

The food here is some of the most delicious we've had in the county, and the restaurant is run by wonderful people from Latin America who truly understand the importance of excellent service. One of the best aspects is that you can enjoy your meal without feeling rushed; we stayed for more than three hours without any pressure to leave. The food quality is outstanding. Unlike many restaurants where sides are overlooked, here every vegetable and side dish was delicious. The menu and service are both excellent. The Cuban was great, but as a matter of personal preference I don't care for a hard toasted bread roll, it cuts the food of my mouth, I much prefer a softer bread. The burger was great. Fries were perfect. All together a nice experience, would definitely come back to try the Sunday brunch.

I came to this restaurant from the beach to have lunch. I sat down outside at the bar overlooking the rooftop pool. Couldn't really see the ocean from my seat but it was still a very nice setting. I ordered a beer and the calamari to start. The calamari was one of the best I've had. SO tender and not rubbery at all. The marinara was great with it and I asked for some aioli also which was good. Next I ordered a mojito, which was $20. It was good and had a sugar cane stirrer which was a nice touch but still the $20 was a little steep in my opinion. I also ordered the grilled octopus which was cooked perfectly as well. Very tender. I don't know if I loved the kalamata olive sauce that it came with, but it was alright. I think better seasonings or a different sauce would have been better but it was still good. Just not the best octopus I've had. Altogether it was about $105 with the tip. Steep for a lunch but I was on vacation and wanted to try some good food. I will say the place could use a little updating. For example the mirrors lining the wall behind the bar could stand to be cleaned or replaced. Looking a little dingey. Only one of the 3 tv's was on. Bartender seemed very preoccupied and inattentive. I know he was making drinks for the guests at the pool and all but I was the only one sitting at the bar for most of the time. I tried to make conversation with him and he seemed annoyed so I left him to his drinks and didn't bother him. Took a while for a refill and that was only after I asked for one. Oh well. It happens.

This is a beautiful place and the food was absolutely amazing! The web reviews didn't accurately estimate the price. Guests should plan for $50-100 per person (or more) and should consider apps, drinks and dessert to get the full experience. Probably not the place for the budget concious, but the food was fabulous.

Great place to spend a lively evening with friends, family, and especially couples. My wife and I went for brunch on a Thursday afternoon. We had made a reservation online, so getting a table was instant. The server was quick and efficient. We ordered the Gnocchi, Mahi Sandwich, and the plain Flatbread along with 2 lattes. The food itself was okay. I wasn't too excited with the flavors. The Flatbread was great. The Gnocchi was good but had a weird after taste, and the Mahi Sandwich had a really bitter taste for some reason. I've had their Mahi burger before, and it's usually delicious, but that day, it felt off. Service was relatively quick. They are a bit pricey compared to the food quality, but you pay for the location and experience. Overall, I definitely recommend checking out Terrazas if you are in the area!

The restaurant looks very nice, it’s on a rooftop so you get some pretty good views of the beach and Fort Lauderdale. The restaurant validates your parking so you don’t have to pay for valet so that’s nice. The portions they provide are large but I feel like the food could get a little bit more flavor, but overall it’s a very nice restaurant. You can get some good pictures here for your social media.

Very beautiful place. The atmosphere was to live for, but the waiter tried their best. It was a busy night and the food was ok.. the glass of wine was $18 and they charge a gratuity. I didn’t know that so for that meal plus one glass of wine came up to $72 and $20 for valet parking so I would say about 100 bucks to spend going out to this place unless you’re drinker then that’s on you.

Had dinner there for our anniversary. Atmosphere was nice, wasn't loud and busy for a Saturday night ar 6pm. Our server was pleasant but only checked in with us once not and never asked if we needed more water/beverages. Food was good BUT potatoes were cold and would have tasted fantastic if they had been hot. We didn't complain as we just wanted to enjoy our night out. Chicken was very flavorful and tender, same with the short ribs. Over priced in my opinion and prices on the menu didn't match what was shown on our bill. For example desserts were listed on the menu at $12 but bill showed $15 & $16. Same with the drinks, menu price $19, was charged $20. Overall we had a nice time, not sure if we'd visit again.

Food was great, service was great. Every one was so nice. I didn’t give it the full 5 stars because I got up from my table to go ask the person at the front if there was a dessert I can buy and they write on the plate “be my valentine?” She told me yes and then 5 minutes later our waiter came by and said “I see you ordered a dessert for us to write but you have to ask me” I really gave him the death stare so he wouldn’t say anything else and I said and he didn’t catch on till he said it again and I winked my eye, thankfully my fiance didn’t hear but then the girl at the front came and said “sorry we have the dessert but not able to write on the plate” at that point I just told them to cancel it cause my fiance obviously caught on by this time. Now I just have to find another way to ask her cause that ruined it and was the whole point of us going There to brunch.

The bar was really nice & the servers were very kind, attentive & helpful with the menu & suggestions. I would definitely recommend.

Good service. Its location next to the pool and the sea makes it a perfect place for special dinners. During the week it seems to be very quiet and at least in my case the kitchen does not give its best, but I will definitely return as they have very tasty dishes. My favorite: “Lobster Ravioli”. One thing I don't like at all is that the tip is already included in the bill, 20%, and honestly I don't think that's right. I think it should be my decision depending on the service they give me.

I recently visited the brunch at Terrazas Oceanfront Dining Rooftop. Upon arrival, the valet parking service was very poor. We were never informed about it when making the reservation, which was disappointing. To make matters worse, I was charged $20 for three hours of parking, and for going just two minutes over, they added an additional $9. That felt extremely excessive and very convenient for them. It leaves a bad first impression before even entering the restaurant. Once inside, Marianela was very attentive and cordial, which we appreciated. However, I noticed that a 20% service charge is automatically added. It feels uncomfortable to be charged for service before even consuming anything. At that point, it makes you wonder why you would even leave an additional tip if the gratuity is already enforced upfront without any room for feedback. I also did not like seeing kitchen staff eating openly without concern for guests watching. Additionally, the pasta preparation seemed somewhat out of hygienic control — using the same glove to handle pasta and then touching multiple utensils raises concerns. Small details like this can significantly impact the overall impression of a place. There was also excessive wind on the terrace, and the umbrellas were moving dangerously and even falling, which felt unsafe. On a positive note, the food flavors were good overall, and the desserts were the highlight — truly the best flavors of the experience. The music was enjoyable, and the DJ created a pleasant atmosphere. Our waiter, Daniel, provided excellent service throughout. Overall, while there were positive elements, the service structure, parking policy, and attention to detail need improvement to match the expectations of an oceanfront rooftop experience.

The only reason I’m giving them 3 stars is because the prices on the drinks were way exaggerated. $28-$32 for a shot of tequila?! Come on! I don’t mind paying prices like that if I’m in a high-end spot, but for a rooftop tiki bar type spot, come on you gotta be out of your mind! Not even GG’s charges that. From the moment we were “greeted” by the two gentlemen at the host desk it started off wrong. The attitudes of the front desk were just plain rude. Our steaks were overcooked. Drinks were water down. Just a very very negative experience.

The ambiance is amazing, and my food was very tasty. My husband was not feeling well, and the waiter was kind enough to provide mint and lemon. I ordered their rotisserie chicken, and the presentation was amazing. For the drink, I had their runner, which had Titos, Pineapple, and redbull it was delicious and not too sweet.

Way overpriced even for the location. $25+ cheese board was small, had plastic cups and seemed like it was bought at a store and transferred to a board by the restaurant. My wife and I both got the $50+ skirt steak and both were very small and bland. They seemed as if they had been boiled or cooked in oil instead of grilled which made for an unpleasant texture. Requested dressing for fries and was brought fast-food packs. For a place that, without drinks, will cost you over $150 for two people, it was not good. The view was nice but the restaurant is next to the pool and you're far enough back from the view that it's hardly noticeable.

Title: Terrible Organization and Logistics for New Year's Eve: A Night to Forget Rating: 1/5 stars Comment: I made a reservation more than 20 days in advance for the New Year's Eve dinner. I even took the trouble to visit the venue beforehand and exchanged emails with Ms. Loreta (event manager), who assured me a specific table inside after I paid the total in full, including a 22% gratuity (which I hope actually goes to the only person who did a good job: our server, Camilo). The experience was disastrous from the moment we arrived: 1. Chaotic reception: The hostesses were overwhelmed, accepting walk-ins without reservations while those of us with reservations were kept waiting. They were wasting time taking photos of customers instead of organizing tables (advice: hire specific staff for photos). 2. Lost table: Despite having a confirmed and paid reservation, we were assigned a dirty table with no number, no silverware, and no water. When we got up for a moment to get drinks, the hostess gave our table to other people. Unbelievable! 3. Inefficient management: When I complained, Mr. Jhon Smith showed a relaxed attitude and wasn't surprised at all, simply saying "we'll figure it out" with no sense of urgency. The "solution" was to improvise a table in the middle of the aisle where everyone was bumping into us. 4. Terrible food: The buffet appetizers were cold and the main course (Surf & Turf) arrived overcooked. 5. Details: We were not given the New Year's party favors, and management's attention was focused solely on large groups, ignoring small tables. The only redeeming factor was the service from our waiter Camilo, who stepped up and tried to fix the organizational disaster, even though it wasn't his fault. Thanks to him, we didn't leave sooner. It is sad that a place with such a beautiful view is losing its prestige due to poor management. We ended up going down to Etura (at the bottom of the hotel) to try and save the night. Not recommended for important dates.

the service could not have been WORSE. took almost 15 mins just to get someone’s attention to come over to our table. our waiter was extremely slow. the food was good but not worth the price at all. i would come here for the views but just know you aren’t sat looking over the ocean - you look at the pool. overall: food good, service absolutely terrible.

They were seating walk-ins without reservations while those of us who had paid were left waiting. They gave us a dirty table, gave it away to someone else the moment we stepped away, and we ended up seated at an improvised table in the hallway. Manager Jhon Smith showed no interest in resolving anything. The food was cold and unpleasant. We didn't even receive the party favors. This place relies on its view, but the service and food are not up to standard. Honorable mention to our waiter Camilo, the only one who tried to save the night with a good attitude.

I visited this restaurant last night to celebrate my anniversary with my husband, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The service was poor, and the drinks were not good at all—only my husband enjoyed his, and that was simply because it was a beer. I was shocked to see a Margarita priced at $60. On top of that, they refused to validate our parking ticket, even after we spent almost $400 on dinner for two. For that price, the experience should have been far better. The only positive thing about this place was the view, but that alone is not enough to make me return. Overall, I was 100% dissatisfied. I’ll be spending my money elsewhere from now on.
