Opinions de Ninja Japanese Express Fort Smith
I had the ramen and the super crunchy rolls. The ramen was savory and it had a great amount of portion. The sushi was good and the service was awesome!
Genuinely one of my favorite stops when I'm in Fort Smith. The amount of food is well worth the money spent. My only real complaint is that the restaurant is usually a little loud, but this is something that I'm easily able to get past once I have a plate of hibachi rice in front of me.
The food came out fast and it was delicious, great service. I will be coming to the place for now on! And the music is great.
I always get the specialty rolls and the steak and scallop hibachi and they never fail me! We love this place it’s super comparable to Fujis
I ordered the Ramen takeout. It only took a few minutes and it was amazing. Very flavorful. I got the pork tonk and it was very good. Highly recommend.
Had the opportunity to stop in and try the Tonkatsu ramen with pork belly. It was a great meal and a needed break from the fast food. The service was great and friendly. Definitely a spot to come back to!
Ninja Japanese Express has been a must visit for me and my family for as long as I can remember. Every single year that we come out to Fort Smith, this is one of the very first places we stop, and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made just right. No matter what we order, it’s consistently delicious. The portions are generous, and you can tell they take pride in what they serve. Beyond the food, the service is always friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. It feels like a tradition now, something I look forward to year after year. I can honestly say Ninja Express is my absolute favorite spot in Fort Smith, and I can’t imagine coming through town without stopping here. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth checking out. You won’t regret it!
Great experience every time I visit! They have an excellent selection of sushi rolls based on my limited experience in trying sushi rolls. Also from order to food on the table I haven't ever had a very long wait at all. The food appears to be freshly cooked every single time and I have gotten to go orders on many occasions with the quality and quantity remaining consistent and within expectations. Highly recommend if you're looking for great taste, friendly fast service and an experienced the absolutely cannot be beat for the money.
Simple little place, with an easy atmosphere. Quite delicious location for passing thru Fort Smith. Got the Chashu Ramen with Spicey Chili Paste. Good portion. Pork belly was cooked exquisitely, taste, and tenderness were exquisite. In a great tasting broth. Plenty of noodles, soft, but firm enough to give enough mouth feel that you now your eating a noodle. Eggs, were more done then I'd have perferred, but didn't detract from the overall meal. Highly recommend dudes. Got to sneak a peak at the table across from us who got few sushi rolls. They were quite good in size, (almost double what you get at most locations,) and was a bit jealous I chose the Ramen. Enjoy your eating experience.
We usually order delivery since 2021. But the past month me and my kiddos been coming here 1-2x a week. They love getting the Tokoyaki. They have loved sushi since they were 3 yrs old. My dad tried the Hibachi Steak the last time and he liked it. They have a wide variety in their menu , even the drinks so coming back few times a week is not tiring. Will keep coming back.
What you see when you pull up tends to accurately set the tone for the remainder of your visit. A small, quaint, cheaply decorated, Japanese restaurant, that was formerly (and awkwardly) I might add was a Long John Silver’s, and not much effort was dedicated to insuring even a visitor to town might recognize just that. The ordering system is different than other Japanese restaurant in town. This is not a “come in sit down and be served” establishment. Once you decide which of the five menus hanging on the wall you would like to order from, you place your order with the staff member at the counter. I’m not sure the actual definition of hibachi, however it is advertised and offered. I guess some of the romance involved in my opinion with a hibachi is the act of watching your food being prepared, and as everyone knows being entertained in the process. There were no visible hibachi grills, and the “hibachi” menu is served from the back just like the rest of your food. Ahhhhh!?! The food. Before I described you much I want to say that there are good three star ratings and there are poor three star ratings, while the store lacked the intimacy, service, and procedures I’m used to in most Japanese restaurants, it made up for in other aspects, such as, portion, price, and variety. Overall we sampled 5 different sushi rolls and a combination Hibachi noodles with steak and shrimp. We found the food to taste fresh, and it was specifically pointed out by more than one of us the shrimp in the noodles was cooked to the perfect doneness. All the flavors were what you would expect, nothing more and nothing less, and on some instances I found the tastes intriguing but lacking depth. Overall I would recommend to anyone looking for a quick, casual, Japanese dining experience to pop in and give the ninja express a try, even if it doesn’t fit your style, if you have a similar experience as I you will find it difficult to leave disappointed. Even if you decide not to return. The prices push my personal appeal to that of a great call in carry out option when this cuisine sounds good but the thought of going out to eat does not.
Has been my favorite place to eat in ft smith for years. But now ... WASH YOUR DISHES THOROUGHLY AND CHECK FOR SOAP SCUM!!!! seriously, you are going to make someone really sick. Also, stop being stingy with napkins. A family of 4 needs more than one, especially if there are kids. The fire roll tasted like chemicals. Probably from whatever they use to light the fire on it. The flaming razorback tastes like a brown sugar teriyaki sauce gone bad.
Food was not great, but wasn’t bad. I had the fried snow crab roll and a side of rice. Rice tasted great. Snow crab roll was only 6 smaller pieces but decent flavor. Coke and Mr Pibb were out. Several customers told them about it but their attitude was like “Too bad”. I highly recommend going to Saku Saku in Van Buren instead.
Most disappointing dinner I've ever ordered, Ninja use to be a personal favorite of mine. Food arrives and it's 90% rice barely any noodle barely any steak and the steak is pink after eating a piece. I don't mind paying more if we actually get some more food that isn't rice. Hope this is just some accident and not the new norm. Do better Ninja. For those that came from Doordarshan reviews here's the photos.
First time trying this place, won’t be ordering again! The texture of the Spicy Tuna Roll is NOT good. The consistency is like canned cat food. Definitely not fresh tuna! The Sexy Roll is also not appetizing; all I can taste is this massive amount of cream cheese. The chicken noodles have no flavor and no veggies in them sadly. This place misses the mark - in my opinion.
