Opinions de Coco Shrimp Restaurant Fort Worth
I walked in fully convinced I’m not a shrimp person, and walked out plotting a return trip for the Coco Shrimp like it’s an appointment I can’t miss. The flavor was a clean 10/10 sweet, savory, and perfectly balanced and the shrimp were cooked spot-on with seasoning that actually sticks with you after the last bite. Add in genuinely friendly staff who make you feel welcome, and yeah… I’ll definitely be back.
Was hungry all day and decided to get Coco Shrimp for Dinner. We were welcomed by Desi the front cashier who took our order and she gave GREAT service to us. Highly Recommend the Bryan location !! Super clean, amazing service and friendly staff !!
Coco Shrimp is great. I especially like the tacos and the garlic butter shrimp. The tacos shells are lightly fried giving them a great crunch. And the slaw they put inside the taco is delicious. If I don't get the tacos, I'll go for the garlic butter shrimp. This location can be difficult to find parking, but the food is worth the inconvenience.
Fort Worth started off on a high note—this was the very first place I visited, and honestly, it’s still the best spot I’ve been to on my entire trip! I gotten the sweet and spicy shrimp, which i highly recommend. Surprisingly the salad goes with it (it refreshes your mouth between bites of the main dish).
One of my favorites in Fort Worth! I love how the food is fresh and healthy. They pack in a lot of rice but every bite is perfect. The sweet and spicy shrimp is delicious - my favorite. The butter garlic shrimp and lemon herb shrimp are good if you want a simple and light flavor. The creamy ginger dressing is amazing and honestly both flavors go well with the salad. You can’t go wrong with coco shrimp! It’s all a win ⭐️
This place was a great surprise that I accidentally found. The food was fantastic and came out quick. I got the sampler and each flavor was great. The sauces were awesome and everything was fairly priced. If your looking for a quick eat and a different flavor try this place.
First time trying it here and I'm so sad we don't have these all over. Literally so fresh and good. We need a location in St.louis MO right now!!! The sweet and spicy and the coconut shrimp were so tasty! And the price was not bad at all. We had so much food we couldn't finish. The atmosphere was fun and colorful, everything was clean. Staff was all nice and helpful! Im not even a big fan of shrimp and now im obsessed, Go right now!
Coco Shrimp is honestly so good! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying. The shrimp is cooked perfectly every time, and the different sauces give it that extra kick. The portions are great for the price, and the vibes of the place are really chill and welcoming. The staff is friendly and fast, and the whole place feels clean and well-kept. If you love shrimp or just want something tasty and different, I definitely recommend trying Coco Shrimp! I didn’t expect the to get my orders so quickly !
Here’s a NED-style review for Coco Shrimp: --- ✅ What Works Well - Fresh, flavorful seafood with a focus on shrimp dishes. - Casual and relaxed vibe, perfect for quick bites or casual dining. - Variety of preparations—fried, grilled, and coconut-crusted shrimp stand out. - Friendly service and reasonable prices. - Good portion sizes and tasty sauces. --- 👎 What to Watch Out For - Limited menu beyond shrimp and seafood options. - Some items can be a bit greasy depending on preparation. - Seating can be limited during busy hours. - Basic decor, more focused on food than ambiance. --- 🎯 Verdict Coco Shrimp is a solid choice for shrimp lovers seeking casual, tasty seafood with fresh flavors and generous portions in a laid-back setting. Rating: 4.0 / 5 --- Want top shrimp dishes or sides recommendations?
You can never go wrong with coco shrimp! I love this place. I love their cilantro sauce and buttery rice. I always bring my friends and family when they come visit from out of town and they love it. To tell you how good it is, my friend came to visit for 3 days and we got coco shrimp every day she was here because that’s what she came for. Hahaha Family friendly and great atmosphere. It does get busy during lunch time but they are still really fast with service.
A totally amazing surprise. I was just looking for a nearby place to get shrimp. WOW did I ever find THE PLACE!. The coconut shrimp came to me in a box. Under the shrimp was a lot of white rice with some creamy stuff. Delicious just by itself. But weight. The box had a wonderful & delicious salad. I had them add avocado. The shrimp was large and delicious. My meal came with a drink. I chose raspberry tea. This is a place I highly recommend and I WILL RETURN !
Oh my gosh, you have to try this restaurant! The coconut shrimp is absolutely incredible. I also loved the shrimp sampler platter, and the ginger dressing was just divine. And let me tell you about the butter rice - it’s so fluffy and flavorful, it’s like a party in your mouth! Oh, and guess what? They have a rewards program if you use your cell phone number when you order. How cool is that?
I wish that I had all these options for food when I was going to law school downtown Fort Worth! I try to visit the new spots whenever I’m in town and this time I tried out Coco shrimp. I honestly did not know what to expect. I didn’t really look into them before I went, but I was definitely pleasantly surprised by how much food I got for the price that I paid. The person that helped take my order was super nice. Gave me his recommendations for what I should try and good choices. If I could do it again I think I would get more salad than I would get rice for my side. All the different types of shrimp that I tried were actually really good! Going back next time, I would try the other flavors! Parking: there is parking, but you might have to look for a little bit and I think there was some construction in the street last time I went so be weary of that. Definitely go again, and I can’t wait to see it in Austin because I would definitely go! Shrimp let me know if you’re thinking of expanding so I can try it out!
We've eaten here several times, and we have never been disappointed. We like the sampler so we can try the various types of shrimp. My 2 favorites are the coconut and the sweet and spicy.

They never miss with their meals and the Butter Garlic is absolutely amazing! I overeat every time I order this. Sheesh!

The shrimp was pretty standard and slightly overcooked for my preference, though I do have high expectations. However, the garlic butter seasoning was really well done, and the sauce made the rice incredibly moist, buttery, and just the right amount of savory—maybe a bit too rich, but it paired well with the romaine and carrot salad. The salad was a great addition, balancing out the richness of the shrimp and rice. I also appreciated that the dressing was served separately. The cranberries were a bit too sweet for me, though I understand they’re a popular contrast in conventional flavor pairings. I really liked the garlic sauce, which I ended up using as my salad dressing. I wasn’t sure about the poppy seed dressing, but I had a feeling I would have preferred something more savory than sweet. Overall, I thought it was a pretty good value—getting seven shrimp for $13 felt reasonable.
First visit! Tried the sampler with 3 different flavors, garlic butter, spicy + coco shrimp with rice and salad. Everything tasted fresh, a little salty, the sauces were great good. customer service is a little spotty but mainly I don't know what more you could do here with the menu being pretty simple. (Spent $28 on 2 samplers)
I got the coco shrimp platter with cilantro lime dressing. The dressing was out of this world so good! But the coco shrimp was just mediocre. I don’t know if other ones are better but I was expecting more. I also don’t know if it was this food or what but afterwards both my mom and I had upset stomachs… it might’ve been too rich for our stomachs. Update: MY STOMACH HAS NEVER FELT WORSE. The toilet it my home now. Update 2: hi! I emailed the email address you provided but I have not received a response.

Very expensive considering you get mostly rice and salad. The protein portion for the price does not make sense, the food is mostly sweet ... not really worth visiting again.
I recently went to coco shrimp, and honestly, the food was decent, but the customer service completely ruined the experience. When i went up to the register, the girl working there had one of the w…
