Loved it, kept wanting to try for a while, and I finally did, I loved it. Had a skillet and pancakes 🥞, and the skillet was very good and filling, but the pancakes were scrumptious 😋 will definitely be back to try the buffet, that was about to get started and it looks very delicious 😋 as well.

The food is delicious and there are lots of choices. They have a buffet every day. Breakfast buffet on the weekends only. There is also a menu if a buffet is not what you want. There is also dessert. Drink is included in price of buffet. Tried both buffets. You will not be disappointed.

The Seeker

This morning was my 1st time to go. When pulling up in the parking lot there is an Oasis feel to it the parking lot. I arrived not too long after it opened and it was nice and clean and the staff was super friendly. It is decorated with angels the 10 commandments and some crosses. It has a very relaxing atmosphere. We went for the breakfast buffet and enjoyed it very much. The bathroom was clean and in the ladies there was a very cute sleeping beauty sink.

Went for Sunday brunch at 10am with a party of 4 to try the buffet. It was a good variety of items and you can even have an omelet made at breakfast and its included in the $15 buffet price. Waitress was so nice and knowledgeable. Kept drinks full. The parking is limited an hard to find at prime time. Also a little outdated.

This was our first time here, it was smaller than we expected, but the food and service were great! The service was on point from the time we walked in until we left! Friendly, courteous, and very nice! The food was always being brought out to the buffet, it was hot, fresh, and very delicious! I will be returning and highly recommend this restaurant to my friends and family!

We did the buffet, so just needed drinks for the most part. Food was okay, buffet was a great price at $15 each plus drinks. That included the desserts on the back side of the buffet. The roast was extremely tender and the veggies cooked with it were great. My personal preference, the steamed vegetables were barley cooked and still way too crunchy, more like they were just blanched vs steamed.

Food was pretty good. I cleaned my plate twice. I had the weekend breakfast buffet. Staff was nice and considerate. Most definitely will be back.

Nice restaurant across from Meacham airport. Had breakfast- they have great breakfast specials! I had the : eggs- 2 pancakes- 2 bacon- & hash browns- $6.99! What a deal. The food was very flavorful! Service was great! Very friendly staff! They have breakfast & lunch all you can eat options. Give them a try . You won’t be disappointed.

Breakfast and lunch only restaurant. Basically a southern home cooked buffet like golden corral. Nothing to write home about. Also ordered tacos from the menu which were basic, American style instead of delicious. Hardly seasoned at all. Really cheap prices and old timer fare if that's what you like.

The service depends on who you get. I've been lucky but also unlucky, getting a harsh, stoic older woman. She was stingy and provided no service. If you go an hour before close expect food to be scarce and no desire to make accommodations. It was my place for comfort food. They are a restaurant but have a daily small buffet. They have different things like homemade Mexican food one day a week. It's a really good place if you like small and intimate with homemade food. Just hope you get a friendly server who isn't lazy.

Breakfast was mid. The cooks could not get the orders right to save their life. It was a roach crawling on the table while we were eating. I think Heavens Gate restaurant was trying to send me to Heavens Gate forreal.

We are trying to figure out how this place has 4.3 stars. Nice people but food is so bland and low quality. At least this was the case for their lunch buffet. Worst mashed potatoes ever. Instant potatoes that taste like water. It’s too bad that I have to be honest about the food quality being so horrible because we really liked the staff and the Christian vibe.

[2/27/2022, $14 per person] if the Golden Corral went bankrupt, this is how it will be, a smaller version of old sizzler. The restaurant has a nice facade but has limited items. The restaurant is well rated by others but not sure why. This isn’t a bad restaurant but it is not great as its average rating suggests. Food taste like they were cooked for older people, they are well seasoned but mush, dentures friendly. As for value, you are better off going to Golden Corral or Chinese buffet. Servers were very nice and the restaurant was clean. There is nothing wrong with the restaurant per say. It just wasn’t what we are used to in typical DFW area. I wish this restaurant was better.

I really like this restaurant if you arrive early. Otherwise they don’t put out very much after the lunch rush. I would visit it more if they would change up the buffet and stop having the exact same items every day. This is why we stopped going there very often.
