We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this Italian restaurant! Every dish arrived fresh, piping hot, and full of authentic flavor. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the care put into each recipe. Despite the top-notch food, the prices are surprisingly reasonable, making it an incredible value for the quality you get. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is just as impressive as the menu. Highly recommended - this spot is a true gem for anyone craving delicious, satisfying Italian cuisine at a great price!

100% would come back. Was visiting Dallas and this restaurant was highly recommended by google. After a long travel day, it was exactly the type of place I needed. Food was delicious, wait staff was efficient and incredibly kind, the owner is wonderful, and the strawberry cheesecake was hands down the best I've ever had. Gluten free menu made Oliva extremely accommodating, and it tasted great too! To Cynthia, thank you for your prayers and support. My audition went wonderfully :)

Best gluten free restaurant I've been!!!! A little mom and pop shop tucked in a shopping center that has absolutely amazing gluten free lasagna. It's made fresh when you order it. They have a separate menu when you ask for the options. They told us the owner is celiac and tried to create to recipes to be interchangeable to gluten free and boy has she succeeded. Their coconut torte with rum sauce so perfection! It's so hard to get good gluten free deserts and im so happy a Google search lead us to them!!! Will absolutely be back!

Went there off hour, so it was nice and quiet. High quality, and fresh ingredients. I had Grilled Salmon salad, the salmon was cooked perfectly, and the dressing was so yum 😋. Had been here many times, and tried pasta dishes, seafood, chicken all were great. The only thing that they don't serve is angel hair.. that's minor. So happy with the service as well. Will come back many, many times more!

We Love this restaurant! Our servers were very attentive, friendly and welcoming. The Oliva dish had shrimp, clams, mussels which were fresh. The marinara sauce made from scratch with fresh ingredients and not out of the can. We will definitely come back next time we are DFW!

We went here for our anniversary and can't wait to go back. The food was fantastic. Huge portions at a reasonable cost with lots of flavor. The staff was friendly, had great recommendations, and was very attentive.

A wonderfully unique find. We had such a great experience and there is a FULL Gluten Free menu available; including desserts! If you love Italian cuisine and have a food allergy... this is the place to visit. They actually care that you have an incredible experience dining out.

I got the penne à la vodka with ground beef and a carrot cake.. the pasta itself was pretty god. My gripe is with the carrot cake. Some of the worst dessert I’ve ever had in my life. 10 dollars for the smallest piece of carrot cake ever. I have had gluten free desserts before. I never throw away desert, I usually give it to a friend or family member but this one, had to go. Idk if it was an attempt to appeal to the vegan community or gluten free community, but it was bad. Highly recommend throwing it out the menu. It’s one thing if it was bad and cheap, but it was bad and expensive.

I love supporting this restaurant as it is not a chain, started by a husband and wife over a decade ago and it's still going strong. My favorite Alfredo sauce. So creamy and delicious. Many other good dishes as well. The only thing I'd change is the bread. Small and quaint.

Oliva popped into our google search while we were in Ft. Worth. When we saw it had gluten-free options, we decided to try it out. The restaurant was packed upon arrival, and we were told it was Graduation Weekend. We were seated within just a few minutes of our arrival. I asked for the gluten-free menu - a lot of options on it, including desserts. However, the menu item I ordered came out with spaghetti noodles instead of linguine, without warning. I chose not to say anything because pasta is pasta. I also ordered the minestrone and was surprised by the huge portion. It tasted good and was gluten-free - no pasta or beans in the minestrone, so basically vegetable soup. My husband ordered the tortellini with chicken, and while there was ample chicken, there were few vegetables on the dish. I found the same problem with my meal - a vegetarian option, with very few veggies and mostly pasta. The pasta was swimming in water, which might be traditional, but if you like your pasta 'drier,' you'll need to ask them to drain it before placing it into the dish. Plenty of leftovers to take home - had 2 more small meals from them. Oliva is well-lit when sitting in the front room or near the windows, but very dim near the back of it, toward the bathrooms and kitchen. The furniture is nothing special - the use of plastic placemats instead of tablecloths is not impressive. The service was good, and everyone appeared to be very busy, friendly, and willing. If you imbibe in Limoncello, you don't want to miss the housemade! It is served in a cordial glass, ice cold, and very refreshing. Overall, I feel this is a nice, casual, family eatery that has confidence in the service of their clientele. Oliva has plenty of options, and the food and service are good while not being overly pricey.

Enjoyable little neighborhood Italian restaurant. Friendly host and servers; food generous portions at reasonable prices. Flavor full and enjoyable; meatballs could have used a little more flavor a rougher texture, but that is a preference item. Homemade bread nice with olive oil and butter; garlic breads have Parmesan in them so we declined (thankful the waitress shared that detail!) Service was pretty speed and dining room was comfortable. Easy location with ample parking; FYI enter through he tent enclosed patio entrance.

Don’t let the location fool you. This is a great stop. We were looking for italian food on our way through town and stumbled upon this little spot. The food was good and the service great.

After seeing several positive Facebook experiences about Oliva my family and I were excited to try it out for ourselves. We ordered takeout and I was very impressed with how everything was packaged and made it home mess free. My husband wasn’t a fan of the manicotti, my son devoured his ravioli, and I enjoyed my penne vodka..just didn’t like that we paid $6 to add shrimp and there were maybe 4 in the whole dish. My favorite part of the whole experience was the tiramisu. I’m glad we were able to finally try it out.

Wait service and cleanliness were fantastic. Our waiters were on top of everything and were so helpful and attentive. The restaurant had a nice dinner vibe decor. But the downfall was the actual food. Our meals were Olive Garden quality at best- not terrible but very bland and one note. My portobello ravioli was over sauced and I could not detect the cognac or pepper flavors mentioned. The side vegetables were mushy and underseasoned. The fried zucchini was fried well, but completely unseasoned as well. Also a huge menu which makes me wonder how much is microwaved especially based on receiving scalding barely seasoned mashed potatoes with our pork tenderloin. I will not be back, there are too many other Italian restaurants to try that focus more on a smaller menu with higher quality well prepared food.

I’m sorry but this was not good food. Had the veal parm. It was thick, over sauced with acidic flavorless sauce and overdone pasta. My wife had a tortellini dish that was basically mush overcooked store bought tortellini in a watery sauce with no flavor, and chicken chunks that were so overdone and dry. The bread they bring to snack on was cold mealy bread, no texture or warmth or flavor to it either. Just not quality food whatsoever, so many Italian restaurants with better quality food. This food was not even Olive Garden level to be honest, sorry. Service was nice, ambience is pleasant. However, that can’t make up for the dishes we were served tonight. First and last time unfortunately.
