It was the first time I came to eat at this restaurant with my wife, and I was surprised by the excellent service. My waiter, Adrian, was always very attentive. He knows the full menu, which helped us make better choices. It was our first time, but service like Mr. Adrian's definitely makes you want to come back. He was very professional and respectful. The food isn't bad, but it brightens anyone's day to be treated with professionalism and warmth. Definitely a place I'll return to soon.
Not only was the food delicious but the owner and staff were so friendly and attentive.
Nicer looking Mexican restaurant than average. Our party of four enjoyed our meals. Waiter was good. I did not want rice and beans and asked them if they could deduct from bill and they did. Not all places will do that. We would come back.
My wife and I decided to have dinner here we have never been here before it's a bit out of the way. Im so happy we ate here Ill definitely be coming back. I had the Cucas Pollo and wifey had the Chile Relleno OMG delicious I swear!!!, also great service great chill atmosphere im definitely coming back to try other plates our server was Ruben great service thank you Ruben
This place is great! My boyfriend and I eat here at least once a week -- we love the food, skinny margaritas, atmosphere and the staff! Great salsa, the fajitas are the best I've ever had and the tortilla soup is equally delicious! We always sit at the bar and are greeted warmly by G and Eddie! I've sat alone before while waiting for someone and the owner walked up and said "you're never alone here, we all know you". Besides having amazing food, this restaurant truly makes its customers feel like family! Cannot recommend enough!
My boyfriend Doug took me there the service was amazing and so was the food I will definitely be back there with him bartender was so nice
Great food and ambiance , Adrian gave us an excellent service he is very friendly!
To me the salsa is what makes the Mexican restaurant. Maria Cuca's salsa is awesome. And the serrano salsa has an awesome roasted, spicy flavor. My favorite dish is the beef fajitas with extra onions. With an appetizer such as the stuffed jalapeños (the small comes with 4, large 8) and the fajitas, there's more than enough food for 2 people to share.
Our recent visit to Maria Cuca's Mexican Cuisine felt less like dining at a restaurant and more like visiting friends, all thanks to our wonderful server, Adrian. From his warm greeting to his genuine attentiveness, Adrian made my family and I feel incredibly welcome. His friendly demeanor created such a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Beyond the exceptional service, the food at Maria Cuca's was absolutely delicious! We savored every bite. Adrian's hospitality truly elevated our experience, making it a memorable one. We can't wait to return.
Love going here with my hubby! Always enjoy the ambiance and authentic food!
First time here, service was a little slow but it was a Sunday after church so understandable...the brisket tacos were some of the best I've had and that's my usual go to at any Mexican restaurant, sampled everyone else plate and it was all delicious, definitely will go back! Don't forget to try the Cucas Pico 👌 delish!
Went here for lunch with my dad today and it was amazing! Adrian was our server and was phenomenal. The food took longer to be prepared and served but Adrian gave us dessert on the house to make up for it (not necessary but super thoughtful). Overall, the food was fresh and very yummy. Will definitely be coming back!
Never disappoints! Excellent food, margaritas and service. Perfect meal for the cold weather.
Always have a 10 out of 10 experience dining at Maria Cucas! Their salsas are so fresh & delicious, spicy enchiladas are to die for. The owner Nico is so sweet & bartender makes some amazing margaritas! Check this place out you won’t be disappointed! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Amazing food and service! Came here for my wife’s birthday while we were visiting. Adrian provided some of the best service I’ve experienced in a restaurant! As a vegan it’s hard to find Mexican food in Texas but this wonderful restaurant had wonderful vegan options. Food quality was excellent and the portions were generous! Great value!
What lovely place and staff! The place was so accommodating to my family and my dad, who is in a wheelchair. Manager, Mariela went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and had what we needed. Jesus even went outside to try to assist my mom. The server Aida, was checking on us and made sure we had everything we needed. The salsas were delicious, tortillas homemade, and the food was great. I also loved the calming environment. We will definetly be back here.
I think I have finally found the perfect Mexican restaurant in the Keller, Grapevine, Southlake area. I have gone to several restaurants for Mexican food, Maria Cuca's has won my taste buds over all the rest. Now when I drove up I had hope because the parking was full so much that in the back of the building parking happened over a curb onto grass and to me that was already a sign of goodness! When me and my brother walked in we were greeted right away by two young girls with smiles on their faces and a personality to go with it. We asked to be seated outside on the patio because it was the end of a hot day but it felt nice. We got our chips and salsa right away and was asked if we wanted the hot green sauce now normally I don't, but I tried anyway and this one was a nice amount of heat with good flavor which normally you can't taste because of the heat. We placed our order and waited with drinks. After some time the food had not come out yet. The manager came to our table to check on us a couple of different times, but we really didn't think too much about it, I told my brother maybe it just means it's going to be worth it. So we sat and waited some more We were hungry, but it was ok enjoying the atmosphere and our server and manager kept checking on us. The manager and server both let us know that there was a mishap in the kitchen. They were very attentive fresh drinks and chips and salsa were brought out to us while we were waiting. The manager did compensate for our ticket because the long wait which was a pleasant surprise! By this point I was definitely ready to eat and let me tell you when they brought that food out my eyes were big for the amount of food that we had received! I got the enchilada dinner my brother got the chimichanga (the biggest!!!) had to be about 3-4 inches long! We immediately dug into our food and they still brought out beef instead of chicken for my brother. They apologized and took his plate back immediately and fixed that as well. This whole entire time they have been checking on us talking to us, communicating with us about everything that is happening. Even though this was our first time at this location and we had this experience WE will be returning. The service was top notch even with the mishaps and the FOOD so worth the time, drive, wait, money spent. I could not even finish what I had ordered which will be eaten for lunch today and I'm positive that it will be just as good! Please give Maria Cuca's a try. To me it was worth it! Where I live they don't do Mexican food right and Mexican food is my stomach's heart! WORTH IT!👍😁😝P.S they have another location that just opened in Arlington. I will be going to that one as well with my daughter that lives in that area.
Great family owned business! Enjoyed a yummy meal on an icy day. Highly recommend!
This is my favorite place. The food was amazing. I had the brisket tacos, my spouse had the Mexican street tacos. Perfect fresh made tortillas and perfect season on meat. Chips and salsa hot salsa was delicious. The staff was so friendly and our waiter made our experience very pleasant. Highly recommend this place.
From delivery to setup to clean up, it was seamless. Food was great, as well. Will definitely use them again in the future. A+++++
Great spot. I eat here at least once a week. I think they have the best skinny marg in DFW. Any of the entrees with beef fajita meat is outstanding. The whole menu is great but their beef is definitely marinated and is always tastes fresh. Only thing that would make this place more complete and competitive to my other favorites in the area is if they made their own in house fresh flour tortillas. They have amazing corn tortillas made in house but it would be increase they had both.
The margaritas are amazing. Service is excellent. Good variety of options in the menu. The food can be a little bland at times.
Went for the sopapillas and the tortilla soup. They did not disappoint. Loved the sugar and cinnamon on the outside of the sopapillas. It was a perfect amount of bread to sugar ratio. The tortilla soup was the perfect blend of veggies and chicken. We will be going back to try other dishes.
One of the better Mexican restaurants you’ll find in North Fort Worth. And Jacob is one of the best servers I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!
tl;dr More Mex than Tex-Mex I really enjoyed coming to this place. it always looks packed and we decided to give them a chance. Fair warning, we're all mexican and generally do NOT like eating tex-mex food. The staff was very friendly. The menu options were also pretty good. the salsas they bring you are flavorful and have some heat to them. The Carnitas were good, and a huge serving. The tortillas were also good. While I ate mostly the corn, I did try a flour tortilla, and I liked it. it didn't taste 'fake'. Honestly, this is a place that we would come back to. Yes, it's still a tex-mex place, but the food is more of mexican quality and flavor. Oh, and the margarita was also done very well.
Not so hidden gem in plain sight...have passed for months and finally made a stop - found a repeat destination for Fresh, Tasty, need to try - affordable Mexican Food. The spicy salsa is as advertised and recommended. Can't go wrong with the food options, or margaritas! Service and atmosphere is an absolute five-star.
Stephanie was an amazing server. The food and drinks were spectacular cannot believe it took us so long to try. We will be regulars from now on.
Maria Cucas is a fun place especially the bar area. Met many people who have become friends. Food and drinks are excellent.
Adrienne was a fantastic waiter. Kind, fast and very attentive! The food came out with urgency and was delicious. This is the best Mexican food in the area -- arguably the best metroplex.
Always a win. Always good. Always great service. Drinks are *chefs kiss* Only place open during snowmagheddon- extra 10 points. Gotta love these guys
Had the fish tacos, they were wonderful. So tender & flavorful. The homemade corn tortillas were very good & soft. Tacos were served with this chipotle looking sauce, oh so good. Asked for charro beans, they were ok, not much flavor, definitely had better. The rice was good, well cooked. The chips & salsa were also decent. They served this spicy salsa too, watch out, very hot. The kids meals are very small portions, little disappointing. I tried my sons refried beans, those were way better than the charro beans, but I generally like charro beans better. So glad we tried this place, will definitely recommend to others.
Chips and salsa are really good here. Lunch specials are $10-$11. Dinner will run you $15-20 plus drinks. Lunch for 3 with drinks, queso and tip was $58. We had the lunch fajitas for $11 and they were delish. Cloth napkins and nice restroom. Glass cups. Nice, safe area and the place felt clean.
Adrian was the best server!! We came for my daughter's birthday on Valentines day. He was so attentive and took very good care of us. Ask for Adrian when you visit. Thank you Adrian!!
From the moment we stepped into Maria Cucas Mexican Cuisine in Kelly, TX, we were impressed by the plush and inviting decor. The ambiance immediately set a high standard for our dining experience. Our waiter was exceptionally kind and provided us with truly outstanding customer service. We felt well taken care of throughout our meal. And then there was the salsa and chips – simply the best I have ever tasted! Having experienced some fantastic authentic Mexican food in Oregon, I can confidently say that Maria Cucas' salsa is top tier. The freshness and flavor were incredible. For my main course, I indulged in the Burrito Deluxe, packed with a delicious combination of mushrooms, onions, peppers, chicken, beef, rice, and beans. The side of hand-tossed beans was a perfect complement. My son thoroughly enjoyed his beef and bean burrito, which came with crispy fries and flavorful Mexican rice. Overall, our experience at Maria Cucas was fantastic. The combination of the beautiful atmosphere, exceptional service, and incredibly flavorful food makes this a place I highly recommend. If you're looking for delicious Mexican cuisine in Kelly, TX, look no further!
We had a team dinner here and they did such a fantastic job. The food was delicious.
Adrian was an excellent server. Food was awesome. The place is beautiful! I would come again.
4.5 stars. Sunday family dinner. Arrived around 5:30. No issues getting seated. Quickly greeted with chips and salsa dropped off alomg with drinks too. Ordered the bowl of queso ($9) which had great texture but lacked flavor. A mixing in of some salsa made it right. Wife had the two enchiladas combo ($13.50) while I opted for the three ($14.50). The boys ordered a chimichanga ($15.50) and a burrito grande ($15.50). Great service and super friendly team. Worth a visit when you're craving Tex-Mex. Our server Longoria A was solid. Thanks for the enjoyable dinner experience for our 1st visit.
I was very impressed with this restaurant. My first time being there and am definitely going back. Delicious food 😋 and great staff. The kitchen was a bit behind, but I was put on a waiting list and notifies via text less than 10mins after when a table was ready. Very convincing instead of standing around waiting. I ordered a burrito, and kid you not, it was huge and delicious. I would say though, maybe spread out the meat and stuff in the burrito, otherwise no complaints. Will be stopping by again.
I went with my daughter for lunch. We arrived at 11:30 and we were done with our food by 12pm. The waiter was very friendly and attentive. My sour cream enchiladas came out fast and hot and my daughter's chicken fajitas were great as well. The chicken in my enchiladas was fresh and delicious. The portions were good and we left very satisfied. I appreciate the handicapped parking in front of the restaurant.
Fantastic spot to come and get some drinks, or food!! Prices are very reasonable and portions are great. I got the 3 enchilada platter with a cheese, beef, and chicken enchilada and they all were great! The guacamole they make right at the table from fresh avocados and it's a delight for sure. Their premium margarita offers different tequilas that you can choose for the same price.
If you have not tried this place you are definitely missing out. Tried for the first time today and loved everything we ordered. Tex mex with a Laredo twist, but taste homemade and with love. From the margaritas to dessert this place hit all points. Don’t sleep on this restaurant. We will be back for sure! The service was amazing even the owner was on the floor and not hidden.
Excellent food and drinks. Everything was very tasty. Great Happy Hour prices! Great atmosphere! Very busy, looks like the place to be in the area. Must try the fresh made corn tortillas. First time being there and definitely coming back! Now for my one concern which was addressed by the management very quickly. The Parrillada plate as shown is $47 and to be shared by 2 people. There was not enough food for the money. Had sausage, beef, chicken, pork and shrimp but not enough to make 2 tacos of each item. Expressed this concern to the management and they quickly brought out more beef and chicken but I cannot recommend this plate if those portions don't change. Next time we are having individual plates.
From walking in to the door until the last bite, this is the place to be. The food is likely the best in town, fresh and plentiful. The waiter never let my tea run dry, all while not being overbearing. Service in many places is hit or miss, but here, service was top notch. The restaurant is clean with a truly welcoming vibe. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend
My wife and I decided to stop in here to try out the food and we were not dissapointed. We were seated right away and our waitress was very attentive all night. We were served chips and 3 kinds of salsa that were really good in different ways. We started out with the queso and it was thick and flavorful. Many mexican restaurants have a runny queso that falls off the chip before it reaches your mouth, but this queso was perfect. For my entree I ordered the chicken fajitas. The fajitas were hot and fresh and very well seasoned. The flour toritllas were good as well. My wife had the 3 enchilada plate with one chicken, one beef and one cheese. She could not decide which one was her favorite as they were all excellent. We ended up with plenty of leftovers to take home for dinner tomorrow night. Highly recommend this restaurant for a nice quiet dining experience. We will be back.
Maria Cuca’s has been one of our all-time favorite Mexican restaurants ever since they opened in 2019. The food is consistently amazing, full of flavor, and always hits the spot. You can truly taste the love and authenticity in every dish. The service is just as incredible—friendly, welcoming, and makes you feel like family every time you walk in. It’s one of those places you keep coming back to because you know it’s going to be great, every single time. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, great vibes, and a place that never disappoints, Maria Cuca’s is a must. We recommend it 100% and will forever be loyal customers!
We eat at Maria Cuca’s restaurant on 377 often and we always have a great experience. Their food is always excellent and the service is second to none! The bar area always prepares excellent drinks. We went over the weekend during the cold winter storm and were surprised they were open. Be we were glad they were! As always it did not disappoint! We highly recommend Maria Cuca’s Mexican Cuisine restaurant!
Fajitas can be hit or miss. Defiantly a hit here! Got the combo fajitas for two and loved every bite! We sat in the bar area and ordered drinks and dinner and had an awesome time. Combo fajitas were perfectly cooked, great amount of onions included, which I love. Went with black beans instead of the others and they too tasted great. We’ll be back again, cheers to everyone reading this!
Maria Cuca’s was absolutely amazing! We came in with a big group of 24 (work Christmas dinner) and they handled everything with total ease. The staff was so friendly, organized, and on top of every detail—our drinks came out quickly (and they were amazing), and the food was even better. Every single person in our group left happy and full. If you’re looking for great service, delicious food, and a place that can take care of a crowd without missing a beat, Maria Cuca’s is the spot. Highly recommend!
Best place in town for Mexican food!! Great food, fast service and great margaritas! Several hot sauces and the chips are great! The homemade corn tortillas are so good!!! The owner is so sweet and always helping out! Don’t miss this place! Everything we’ve ever ordered has been tasty!! And we come here a lot!!!
The food was excellent. Our server Nick was attentive taking care of all our needs. It’s refreshing to visit a place that has awesome service. The manager even checked in on us.
I had the pleasure of having Maria Cucas cater my holiday work event. It was seamless with the ease of the way they set everything up, decorated beautifully, and picked everything up. I can not speak volumes on how everyone loved the food, and I recommend them 10/10

Excellent Mexican restaurant where w3 had tilapia laredo with shrimp, brown rice and broccoli. Nice tasty food which will full your tummy to a great extent. Nice ambience and good service offered by the staff. Would like to visit again and cost wise,I feel it can be rated as $$ based on the dishes we ordered.
They have a sublime hot salsa with roasted chilies. It was spicy and fresh. Come here just for the chips, salsa and ritas 😁. I did get the carne asada but I was disappointed. Covered with cheese, tomatoes and onions and the steak was flavorless. It had grill marks but tasted more steamed. I dumped a whole dish of that wonderful salsa on top of it to give it some flavor
Honestly some of the best Mexican food I've had in a long time. The queso was just okay, especially for the price tag - but everything else was delish. My husband got the brisket tacos and loved them, I got the tacos Al carbon and they were amazing and full of tender delicious beef. The salsa is pretty good and so is the guac. Our server, Alex, was super friendly and did a great job. It was great date night and we'll be back. Thanks!
Gave up on another spot we've tried twice now and decided to try this one since it was just down the road and we were hungry! Aside from being a little pricey, it's was pretty good. Service was great, people were great, atmosphere was nice and relaxed, food was good. It is Mexican "cuisine" so they add a little more than your average tex-mex place, which is good if that's what you're prepared for. I really liked it and the portions were enough for leftovers... my favorite!
Our first time here and it did not disappoint. Authentic Mexican plates not found at most restaurants in North Texas. They make their own tortillas, sopes, salsas, flan! Good stuff. Ask for Bill! He was very helpful. An awesome server. Got the jalapeño margarita but it wasn't great... it tasted like lime rind unfortunately. But everything else was approved. Servings are huge! Complementary bottomless chips and 4 different fresh salsas. Definitely will be back!
Atmosphere, food and customer service was quite nice. It was our first visit to a Mexican restaurant so we took our time deciding on what we wanted. Portions were small especially the rice portion. My so. Requested for some more rice and what we got was barely a serving spoon for almost $3. The food was yummy though.
They have great food. It's tex mex. Don't go in expecting Mexican cuisine. We always enjoy the queso. And my new favorite is the veggie quesadilla. Service is usually pretty good. Lunch service can be hit or miss. But evenings are always lovely and fun
Love sitting on the patio. Delicious food and good service. The chips and salsa are awesome here!

I had the shrimp tacos eith rice and refried beans. The entrée was quite bland and lacking in size for the cost. Drinks were flat. I will say however the table side guacamole was very good!!! I would visit again just for that appetizer and no dinner.
So, the food was okay. Some of it was so greasy that the meal seemed like it was floating in oil, which made my stomach hurt. I gave most of my food to my family. The place is nice and it was my first time. Waiter was nice but made me very uncomfortable. I ordered a virgin piña colada, which came out fine, but the waiter joked about putting alcohol in it anyway. I was very hesitant even trying it after his incredibly inappropriate remark. He has no idea why I don't drink and the serious nature of that as a personal choice. I imagine how it would be even more frustrating if I had been someone in recovery from alcoholism. It's not funny. You never know what people are going through.
A little overpriced for decent food with slow service. There was nothing special about the food, it tasted very generic. It took over twenty minutes to receive our appetizer. There are several "now hiring" signs outside, so maybe if they had more staffing service would run faster. There was nothing wrong with the food, but nothing great either. Very forgettable. I was instantly drawn to the camarones vallarta, but the crabmeat sauce was almost entirely butter- nothing seemed remotely crablike. Honestly my favorite part of the dish was the pieces of grilled pineapple on the side. Overall I'm not upset I took the time to try it, but I'm not planning on coming back.
Went there today with a group of friends. I ordered the Camarones Vallarta. The menu said it was six jumbo shrimp sauteed in crab meat sauce on a pineapple boat. I was extremely disappointed when I got it because it was imitation crab meat and had I known I never would have ordered that dish. However the presentation was pleasing and conversation starter, the shrimp were large and the sauce was flavorful. The atmosphere is nice, our server was prompt and friendly and the drinks are good.
I usually have a decent experience here but today must have been an off day. Ordered my food and the order was wrong. I did my best to signal the server multiple times to inform him but was unsuccessful. Finally after about 10 minutes, I was able to signal a different server(who looked annoyed that I asked)and for time reasons had to get my correct order to go. Our drinks were never refilled until I asked and at the end of service nothing was offered to make this experience a little better. The food I ate a few hours later was good but I am starving. I have had a good experience here before. I would recommend if you have a good server.
Cool place. Margaritas were excellent. Food was good but seemed very expensive. Would maybe do a happy hour only next time.
I cannot understand how this restaurant has a 4.5 star rating. The only reason it is getting two stars from me is because it is clean and the servers were kind. The food is just really, really bland. The pictures on Google & Yelp are misleading because the food looks really good but there’s no flavor and the salsas tasted like they had either being made days ago or were sitting out. The kids plates are $8.99 & my son had a corn dog and a Dole fruit cup. It just wasn’t worth it and would not recommend.
This place is convenient where we live. Wanted to try as we've never been there. Very small bowl of chips and small salsa to share..great if on a diet.. personally I think every person in party should have their own salsa. We ordered the combo fajitas.. was about $39 for 2. We barely got two fajitas each. And no FLAVOR. They were tender but no flavor.. also had to ask for water, when we did order drinks.. very pretty place. But lacks in real Mexican flavors.
Pic already ate some meat...Fajitas meat came out not tender, chicken burnt. They only come with 3 tortillas and if you want more it is $1.50. I have been here before and received at least 4. Why the odd number? They charge extra for more cheese barely give you any and double rice barely covered bottom of the small plate ( already ate some but this is the plate for reference in pic). Disappointed, will go down the road to Las Compadres ( in Roanoke love it) instead where they do not nickel dime you.
Service was good price was too high for what I got. I had the tacos de Mexico only got three and they were bland with No flavor 16.95 for 3 bland tacos some beans and rice and a slice of avocado. Not my idea of a great lunch. Service was also slow.
We decided to give this place a try since it's so near to home. I knew something was up when we walked in and the smell wasn't right. When I walk into a restaurant, I expect to smell something tasty cooking. Not so here. But I decided to keep an open mind. So... Here's the thing. This place is like if you want Mexican food, but yet you aren't good with spice. The salsa? Not spicy. Even the "very hot" one they offered in a little bowl was strange tasting, although my husband mixed it with the regular salsa and said it gave it a little more of a kick. The queso was okay, but also bland. I got the tacos de brisket. The portion size was large. But, again, bland. Even just eating some of the meat out of the taco without the tortilla (which is supposed to be made in house but had that packaged taste), the meat was simply not seasoned. It also wasn't particularly hot in temperature. Rice and beans? Also no real flavor. I'm going to assume the margaritas are the star of the show at this place, because it seemed like almost every table was full of drinks. But as I don't drink much, that simply doesn't interest me. The staff was excellent, though. Could not have been kinder. Will we be back? Eh... debatable. But I'm going to say probably not.

NOT DOGGO FRIENDLY. Went with my shih tzu on their patio to meet friends. Wouldn't serve us. \nNo food to review as none was served. Left.
Rarely, do I experience bad food...especially when it's billed as mexican cuisine but today was the exception. Should have figured it out when the chips and salsa arrived. The Salsa arrives in …

Came in for Father's Day had a party of 6. Was told there would be a 40 minute wait. The party behind me then had a party of 5 and was seated right away. I asked why and the hostess said oh they sa…
Came for late lunch and very disappointed. The service was bottom tier and the fajita taco salad was a disappointment. The shell was chewy, not crisp, the lettuce was those awful yellow pieces and the beans we just used to glue the shell to the plate. Definitely NOT recommended.
I gave one star only because service/host was amazing!!!!! Super friendly. I hate that the food had absolutely NO flavor. Adding salt didn’t even help. The onions were the star of my plate. They charge for everything too. If you ask for a Togo drink they charge. I asked for some more tortillas for my fajitas because they only give you 3 small ones they charge. If you like flavor don’t come here. Heavy on the Tex nothing on the Mex.
Really disappointed in visit today. First off we ordered the sampler platter, but the nachos were ruined as they stacked them and placed the other food on top of them, so to pull them apart you lost all the cheese off the nachos. The beans tasted spoiled as well. Then next there was the dilemma where I clearly ordered regular coke, but was given a diet and charged a diet. I question to myself if it was done on purpose because I am a little over weight. While coke is not the healthiest drink, diet is extremely worse and the waiter was not attentive through out our dining experience so it was not easy to get it corrected. The drink should have been removed from the bill since it could not be addressed until the bill arrived. On my prior visit I had a similar problem where I ordered sweet tea and waitress brought a unsweet tea. Clearly some of the staff does not understand english clearly. Others at my table confirmed both times what I ordered, so the confusion was not on my end. Lastly, the manager was not friendly and charged us extra for an item that I clearly said we didn't want but were open to a substitute if allowed. She went with a substitute but didn't inform us that it was not a substitute but an extra charge on my bill, which we found out from our check at the end.
