I love Chick Fil A, but this location always seems to take the longest to get our order. We ordered a sandwich with no pickles and it had pickles. This is our local Chick-fil-A. Food is always good but holy cow the service is so miss. Can't tell you how many times I've gone here and they forget one of our items. Then I have to contact customer service and their app is awful and I have to sit there and keep looping through it or get on an actual computer. I'd recommend finding another location if it's closer to you or checking every single bag when you do go.

***UPDATE*** WHY at 8 am are your tater tots cold! Do you know how nasty cold fried potatoes are? Very. Also, the whomever you have on parfait duties need to be switched out. It's cookie crumble, NOT sprinkles 🙄. You're losing a star. I like the curbside option. What I don't care for is lukewarm waffle fries. Fries should always be hot, especially when the request is made for them to be unsalted. The fact this location sells fresher food than the Rufe Snow location is the only reason I keep coming back. I went in to pick up my order and stood at the “Order Pickup” sign for several minutes without any acknowledgment. I was there for about seven minutes while employees looked in my direction and walked into the back. During that time, a DoorDash driver came in and was greeted right away. I eventually received my order, which was already prepared, but it took a total of about ten minutes. This was frustrating and disappointing.

Let me start by saying, I love Chick-fil-A. However, over the last few months, the service at the Watauga location has been awful. I go to CFA most mornings for breakfast, and another 3+ times a week for lunch or dinner. My family loves it. In the mornings both drive-thru lines are open, but orders are only being taken one at a time. I’ve sat at the speaker before waiting to have my order taken. The morning crew also seems like they don’t want to be there. One employee in particular often hands me my food and says nothing. It’s very awkward and confusing. Tonight I went for dinner and sat in the drive-thru for over 20 minutes. And when I finally got to the window no one seemed concerned at all that things were taking so long. In my opinion this is no longer a fast food option. I could receive my food quicker and with better service at a “sit-down” restaurant. The food is always amazing, and CFA across the board is great. I am just going to find another location to frequent, because this one isn’t up to par anymore.

Truly the worst chick fil I’ve ever been to. Every time I come, they take forever, get my order wrong and the line is wrapped around the building and not moving. The last time I came I sat at the speaker for a while, watching other cars in the other lane get their order taken so I decided to just pull forward and order at the window. When I got to the window and let them know what happened, they acted as if I was speaking another language and when they finally understood what happened, they just started pointing fingers at each other instead of taking my order. Then, one of the girls asked me to pull forward with a very condescending tone like it was my fault I’m holding up the line. I’ve truly never experienced as terrible service before at any fast food restaurant.

Chic fil a on Denton hwy in Watauga is the worst. The food is never fresh. Sandwich bread is always stale (like it’s frozen and thawed out). Biscuits are never fresh. Any other chic fil a in the area is better. Don’t waste your $$ here.

Every time I come to this location its slow and they always forget somthing out my bag straw ,food item or sauce. Today I ask how long would it be for my chicken strips to cook since it took almost 10 minutes my last visit after I was pulled to the stop signed. Yes at the stop signed my timer was stopped at 8 minutes and some seconds this was about 2 weeks ago. Today I have no straw no honey no hashbrowns and the man at the front window told me he did not know how long strips was. So I said 7 minutes right then he responded yea 5-7 minutes. I spent almost 20 dollars today.There is nobody ever outside to help with orders ive been here morning evening and afternoon. Usually there is staff outside helping. I've seen this on rare occasions. So hopefully this review will help and management can see what the issues are. I've never had issues at any other location exepct this one consistently. I do understand things happen but this location always leave me asking why do I even come here.

I had that pretzel chicken sandwich. It's actually really good, but when you use small pieces of chicken it makes for a terrible sandwich because it falls apart. Had to throw it out. Also stop filling the cups with ice. It's rude. I had to go to burger King to get food.

if i could rate 0 stars i would.. i got 12 piece chicken nugget and fries and hours later ended up having to go to the ER because i had very very bad abdominal stomach pains and a fever and had to be wheelchaired around the hospital because i was in too much pain to walk. they told me i had Enteritis and my intestines were inflammed Enteritis is FOOD POISONING and i am now having to take antibiotics... im so disappointed i didn’t think i would ever get food poisoning from chick-fil-a. this is also by far one of the worst locations you could go to, the food is almost NEVER fresh do not eat here if you don’t want to get sick.

This is the absolute worst location. I’ve never received bad service at a chick fil a other than this location. All of the employees are rude and super slow. If I’m going to be in a drive through for 20 minutes it defeats the purpose of the drive through. They need to hire a whole new crew or shut it down.

Ordered a chicken burrito this morning and it was quite simply the worst burrito I've ever had. It was clearly microwaved to heat up. Tortilla was hard as a rock and both chicken and eggs dried out. I would have complained and demanded a refund but I ordered from the drive thru so I was too far away to turn around at this point.
