Yum. Walked in around 7:30 Saturday night and we were seated right away. We were 3 people and ordered two individual deep dish pizzas (one pepperoni and one sausage). We got 2 pieces each per pizza and those four pieces were very filling! Both were delicious but I preferred the sausage. And the pizza crust was crunchy and amazing. Can't wait to go again.
Great pizza...come here for a food coma. Honestly my expectations going into a restaurant that advertises itself as "Chicago Deep Dish" better live up to the expectations of deep dish pizza. I can definitely say the pizza here is pretty heavy and extremely tasty. The Meat Market and Chicago Fire were super cheesy and flavorful...I cannot recommend them enough. I definitely think we would have benefited from a vegetarian or less meaty pie...but other than that I highly recommend this place for pretty good deep dish pizza. The apps we got were the Spinach and Artichoke Deep Dip and the Shrimp and Crab Dip. Both were amazing by themselves and held their own. I would say it was not the best decision to order such heavy food for lunch but damn can I say it was worth all of those calories.
Greatly appreciated the service. Very good food! Lovely servers. Amazing place for a date. I would highly recommend it. Nice looking pizza. Definitely will go again some time. I always try to go when I am in Texas!
Uno Pizzeria makes some of the best Chicago style pizza, outside of Chicago. Seated in downtown Ft. Worth and being close to my hotel made it an obvious choice to visit. I went later in the evening and it wasnt busy, but, would imagine it fills up during peak times. I had the meat market pizza and it was excellent. Perfect crust, packed with meat and cheese, and the tomato sauce, not too sweet not too bland was definitely on point. Without a doubt will visit again.
Cannot say enough good things about UNO! Awesome experience!! I had the deep dish Classic Chicago pizza.. Which was double sausage with tomatoes.. The crust was the best I've ever tasted!! Very very good!!! Service was friendly, attentive, and engaging! Excellent job! We really enjoyed our visit there!
Place was very clean, staff was attentive and made us feel welcomed, the pizza was amazing! You can taste the quality and rich flavors from it. Me and my family will definitely come back again. Can't leave the drinks out, they had a good beer special to top it off.
Loved it! I really thought it was just pizza but the dip was fabulous! The staff was so friendly and I can't wait to go back next time I am in fort worth.
Very friendly staff and good pizza. Had a large party and they took care of us quickly and drinks never went dry. I got the Chicago deep dish pizza. Solid pizza but veggies were a little undercooked for my liking.
Pizza was great! Dessert was amazing! It is very reminiscent of the uno pizza back in Dallas which closed about 10 years ago. . If you're here for a birthday ask to have Brandon sing.... It is an incredible experience.
We sat at the bar, the Bartender too absolute great care of us, and the manager Jerry is a great guy also! We really loved the food & drinks! Great date night place
Great place to grab some Chicago deep dish pizza and desert. I can highly recommend the Chicago Classic deep dish pizza and the triple chocolate brownie Sunday. Also when you eat here they can validate your parking so you don’t have to pay when you use the downtown parking lots or valet. The guy at the bar is a great server.
A fantastic little pizzeria in Downtown Fort Worth. Their deep dish is fantastic and their Chicago Meat Market is a must have for meat lovers!
The bartender Jerry/Jared is absolutely amazing. He made this drink called absolute stress that was amazing. We had the deep dish meat market pizza. The group only finished half the pie.
One of our top picks in Fort Worth! The Fried Calamari, Grilled Salmon, and Chicken Fried Steak were all fantastic. Make sure to save room for the delicious Pecan Pie.
Wow! We had an incredible meal here. There was $10 valet right outside the entry way. Hostess and staff were SUPER friendly. We started at bar table and had a drink. Then went to our table. Everyone loved their meal, and we each ordered something different. I had the carne asada with cheese enchiladas and it was excellent. My husband ordered their special that day, a surf and turf. Definitely recommend the Texas 75 Martini- I love french 75s and this was a martini version and really good! Would definitely eat here again for another special occasion!
Had dinner with my wife on Sunday night. The service was top notch and the food was incredible. The server knew his stuff. He explained the feature dishes so well. I took his recommendations and was not disappointed. I am a restaurant operator I have very high standards when it comes to restaurants I dine at. I was impressed. Will be coming back and will definitely recommend this place to others.
I asked my parents to take me here for my TCU graduation dinner and I was very happy with my choice!! It felt like the perfect wrap up on my time living in Texas. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very “Texas” and rustic, featuring interesting Western decor and historical touches/information, but not overwhelming. We all loved our food! My steak was delicious, as were my vegetables! I also had a dessert, which I thought was PHENOMENAL! I highly recommend Reata!
Recently dined at Reata for a birthday dinner on a Saturday for brunch/lunch. We made a reservation but since we got there at 2pm it was not busy due to their kitchen closes at 2:45 to prepare for dinner. Appetizers - we order the large massive onion rings and tamales, which were open faced and stuffed. The onion rings and tamales could have been a meal. Lunch- I couldn’t decide between club sandwich and tortilla soup, lucky for me you can pick two. So I was able to have the best of both worlds, but was only able to eat the soup was stuffed with chicken, avocado and tortillas. The 1/2 club was huge, my sister had the salmon and vegetables which was amazing. Parking - You park right across the street for $20 hours or on Saturdays park for free on the street or in the parking garage across the street! Cocktails - I had the millionaire margarita and moscato, my sister had the speciality drink which was a white peach sangri, that was delicious. They may night have the high rise views anymore, but it’s nice to be able to sit on patio or at window people watch.
On a short visit to Fort Worth, locals pointed us toward Reata. From start to finish, the whole experience was downright spectacular. They kicked things off with bread, butter, and little scones so good I could’ve polished off the whole basket. The Tenderloin Tamales starter had a unique spin—tasty for sure, even if it wasn’t my personal favorite. When it came to the main event, I told the server the kind of steak I was after, and he steered me right to the Blackened Buffalo Ribeye with Cook’s Butter. It was melt-in-your-mouth tender and cooked just the way I like it. Even the veggies and potatoes had that “made with care” flavor that had me cleaning my plate, big portion or not. We wrapped up this Texas feast with the Strawberry Cheesecake Crème Brûlée—a creative twist on dessert that was as sweet as a Texas sunset. The restaurant itself had that true Texas-style charm in its design, which tied the whole experience together perfectly. Will I go back to this restaurant? Reata isn’t just dinner, it’s a full-on Texas experience I’d come back for any day.
We have not been to Reata since my husband proposed and that was when they were at their prior location. 12 years later the food is still delicious! I will say the new location is not great and looses some of the romantic vibe. Seems a bit more casual than before, but we still enjoyed our night! Hopefully they move into a new building soon! The staff was welcoming and our waitress was great! We started off with an old fashioned and an Aperol spritz. My husband chose the cowboy ribeye and it was a perfect medium with great flavor! This came with a side of asparagus and a roasted type of mashed potatoes and they were the best mashed potatoes I’ve ever had! So full of flavor. I had the fish of the day which was a swordfish with broccolini with rice! The sauce on the fish was a bacon cream sauce and so flavorful ! We ended our dinner with the chocolate tamale and it was wonderful! Thanks for providing a wonderful anniversary dinner experience!!!!
We came to Reata while in town on spring break. We booked a reservation for 6, but decided to go early. The table was ready when we arrived, but we went to the rooftop bar for one drink first. It was fun and a great view! We then were seated right away. The waiter Brandon knew was knowledgeable about the menu and the restaurant’s favorites. My husband got the carne asada and I got the citrus chicken - both so yummy! Oh and actually can’t forget about the biscuits and cornbread they brought out first - amazing! Then for dessert we were shown all the options and given explanations. We went with the dessert tacos which were fabulous. And overall we spent just under $100 so not too shabby! Definitely recommend!
This restaurant exceeded our expectations. The food was fantastic; we enjoyed a salad, tamales appetizers, a bison burger, and carne asada enchilada—all delicious. Their variety of cornbread and focaccia was absolutely delightful. The decor evokes the ambiance of the old oil tycoon era, transporting you to another time.
The service was nice, a little rushed when ordering over the phone but once I picked up my order the server's we're more than happy to accommodate my needs. They even OFFERED plates, utensils and napkins and I was also happy to know parmesan cheese and chili peppers were a request away!
Took our daughter here before going to the Bass performance hall, Service was stellar! We loved our waitress, she was prompt and kind and the other staff was too! We had really good martinis, the appetizer was the crab stuffed jalapeños, Good but not great, I also got the special blackened red snapper and like the appetizer it was missing flavor and not much sauce and or spinach. Both my husband's filet and my daughter's chicken fried steak were good but they did not love that they placed the meat on top of a plate of mashed potatoes . Desert was amazing!!!!! peppermint crème brûlée! A holiday must! Overall it was good just not great.
Date night and we went here on recommendations. We did not know that they relocated and no longer have the rooftop area. The inside is beautiful and it was very quiet and not crowded for a Saturday night. We had a couple of coctails, a combination appetizer, two wedge salads, and chef's recommendations for off-menu steak preps. The staff was very polite and dressed very nicely, as you would expect from a higher-end steak house. My one criticism was that our salads came out right after our appetizer and our entrees came when we had just started on the salads (while not having finished the appetizer. The app was very good, and the wedge salad was outstanding. The steak specials were as described and we enjoyed them. I wish I would have snapped some photos but (again) it was date night so I didn't want to distract. I did speak to the Manager and he was accepting of my thoughts on timing (as we were in no hurry) and was also accomodating. I will try it again some time.
Meals here are absolutely huge. Texas-sized portions that actually mean something. Got the peppered filet - 10 ounces with jalapeño and cheddar grits plus veggies. My wife and I split it and still had plenty. The salad was massive too - could have easily split that as well but we're not quitters. Pan-seared pepper crusted filet with port wine sauce was perfection. Even shared a crème brûlée - I'm not usually a crème brûlée guy, but apparently I am now. My wife's doing something right. Outdoor patio was amazing. Weather wasn't the usual 120-degree Texas inferno, which made all the difference. But if it's blazing outside, the inside is peak Texas - bison on the walls, about 15% of customers in cowboy hats. This is Texas dining done right. Big portions, big flavors, big atmosphere. It's Texas, baby. Hook 'em Horns. When you want to eat like a Texan in a place that looks like Texas, this is your spot.
Had a fabulous dirty martini at the bar, along with the Caesar salad (a little too much dressing) and the bacon wrapped shrimp. It was so delicious. Highly recommend. There is valet parking or free parking in the Tower condo parking garage after 6 pm during the week or anytime on the weekend.
Just to start this off it was a door dash delivery. The driver was awesome, no issue with that! The food on the other hand was not so good. The pretzel was hard as a rock. The cheese sticks were cold and gross! The pizza patato skin was okay. They did not bring the sour cream with the order so we did not get the full experience. The only great thing with the order was the all meat pizza. It was awesome! We also had the crab and shrimp dip. My wife loved that!
My deep dish pizza wasn't hit all the way through, otherwise I would have given it a 4* review. Food was tasty, wait staff only refilled waters once and never asked if we'd like refills on our other beverages.
Must try this place. The deep dish they invented and the cocktails are on point. The people watching and the pleasant atmosphere is the silver lining. The dessert, the dessert!
Nice little pizzeria. Motzi sticks were frozen ones and not homemade. Pizza was decent. Not the best but definitely not the worst. Decent place for deep dish.
Honestly, it's a bit disappointing when you go to a Chicago style pizzeria and they give you your pizza and there's barely any sauce on it. I mean, do they even know what Chicago style pizza is? I asked the waitress for two additional bowls of sauce, and was able to salvage it, thankfully. The crust at least had the slight hint of cornmeal worked into the dough which is one of my favorite characteristics of Chicago pizza - so props there. But seriously, lather on that sauce a bit more.
The atmosphere in the new location is nowhere near as good as their last place. I don't blame them for having to move though but I hope they find something else soon. The service is awesome as usual. I had the carne asada with the cheese enchiladas. It wasn't much, the meat was too tough. I couldn't eat most of it. The enchiladas were good and the beans and rice were the best thing on the plate. We also ordered the Onion rings, which are HUGE, and the bacon wrapped shrimp. Both were good. I've always loved Reata but not so much this time. For this $$$$ I'll go somewhere else next time.
Huge pizza lover here, this pizza is Mediocre. The deep dish was filled with chunks of tomato to have it appear to look "deep dish". If I go out, I want something I can't make at home, and the spinach artichoke was something I can buy at a grocery store. Cheap chips, almost stale like, microwaved dip. Staff is friendly and personable, alcohol drinks taste nice... it's the food that lacks, no bueno.
I recently visited Reata Restaurant and, unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing on multiple levels. From the moment I arrived, the customer service left much to be desired. The staff appeared visibly frustrated and disengaged, giving off an unwelcoming and unpleasant energy. It felt as though there was little interest in providing a positive dining experience, which immediately set a negative tone for the visit. To make matters worse, the restaurant was out of basic items, including rice, which was a central part of my order. Despite the missing components, I was still charged full price for my meal, which felt both unfair and unprofessional. Additionally, other products seemed inconsistently stocked, suggesting a lack of proper inventory management or attention to operational details. The food itself was another major letdown. It lacked proper seasoning and flavor, resulting in dishes that were bland and uninspiring. It was clear that little care had been put into preparation, and the overall quality did not justify the price. Combined with the poor service, the dining experience felt rushed and unthoughtful. The restaurant environment also contributed to the disappointment. Cleanliness appeared to be an issue, with certain areas looking untidy and poorly maintained. It was difficult to feel comfortable or enjoy the meal in such a setting. Overall, I would not recommend Reata Restaurant. Between the lack of inventory, poorly seasoned food, subpar customer service, and cleanliness concerns, the experience was far below expectations. Significant improvements are needed across multiple areas—particularly in food quality, inventory management, staff training, and overall cleanliness—before this restaurant can be considered a reliable dining option.

Fort Worth's Reata: A Taste of Texas That Endures
Y'all know Reata. It’s been a Fort Worth institution for as long as I can remember, a true steakhouse with a heart as big as Texas itself. They’ve recently settled into a new spot, and while some of us old-timers might miss the high-rise views of their previous digs, let me tell you, Reata’s new home still absolutely nails that authentic Western atmosphere. Think rustic charm, intriguing historical touches, and just enough “Texas” decor to make you feel right at home without being overwhelmed...
