Tip: If you're unsure what to order, try the "Oh My God" roll, which is highly recommended. The lunch pricing is also incredible.

Opinions de Sasabi Sushi Fort Worth
came in an hour before close and we loved it!! we were the only guests in the restaurant and everyone was extremely kind and very hospitable!! the food was so good and we will definitely be back again soon
I got the sashimi combo. Everything was presented nicely and quickly. The owner was very nice and professional. The place looked nice. I was very happy. That was the first time I had had sushi in probably four years. I'm glad I went. I would recommend this place to anyone.
We trust this restaurant for sushi and the food is consistent. The owner always remembers a special dietary request i made some years ago He even made a special trip to the store (when I first asked about a GF item, which has hopefully been benefitto others). We've taken friends and family there and they've been quite happy also😊 I hope they stay open for a very long time!!!
I came in at 11:45 on a Monday and there were only four other people dining. Smooth jazz was playing and the staff was super friendly. There was only one TV which was kept at very low volume, which makes it the perfect ambiance after a busy work morning. Also, there was absolutely NO fish smell, which is how you know you’re going to get fresh food! I ordered the three roll lunch special (which is only $16!). I got the shrimp tempura, Cajun, and avocado rolls. It came with a free cup of miso soup. Everything was amazing. Also, the rolls were HUGE! One slice was the diameter of my fist, and everything I got comes 8 slices to a roll. Great value. I loved this place 10 years ago and am so glad I found myself back in the area to try it again for lunch today. It’s just as good as I remember. Will definitely be returning!
Incredible place to get amazing sushi. The presentation here is parallel to the exquisite taste you experience here. It's a super cute intimate place in an unexpected location. I'm so glad I was introduced to this place as it is so delicious and I get my sushi fixe without having to drive downtown. Highly recommend.
My husband was on a business trip to Ft Worth several months ago and knowing his fave food is sushi I looked up a few places for him. He ended up going to Wasabi and told me it was the best sushi he had ever had! So when we found ourselves in Ft Worth again recently I knew we had to eat here. I must say he was right! Definitely the best sushi I’ve ever had!! Everything was so incredibly fresh and had excellent flavor! Will definitely be back next time we’re in town!
I was recommended this place by my Japanese teacher, so I was pretty excited to try. It was absolutely delicious! The plates they make are truly a work of art. I've not had sushi like this anywhere else. It has a cozy atmosphere and the service was great. I definitely recommend if you are ever in the area.
It's a shame that I didn't find this place a long time ago..!! The Toro is so fresh and melts in your mouth. The best around for sure. I should have taken a picture of it but didn't have a chance as I was racing for my chop sticks...!! I had the Kiss of Fire and that was an outstanding roll. They don't overcharge on their beers either. I'll be back every time I'm on this side of town. My second and third visit were just as great. I'll go out of my way to come here.
I was the only customer in the restaurant and was there for about 40 minutes, but everyone was kind and helpful. The ginger salad was the best I’ve ever had but I wasn’t crazy about the miso soup. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t the best I’ve had. I tried salmon and salmon roe nigiri and liked the roe much more than the plain salmon. I also got the Oh My God roll which was a LOT of flavors. The stringy bits of imitation crab on top made it kind of messy to eat but it was good.
First time trying this restaurant, it was definitely a diamond in the rough. From the dim lighting atmosphere, the the exquisite plate presentation it's definitely a must try if you're looking for sushi to quench your palate. The staff and waiter were very friendly and helpful to top it off. It's definitely worth 5☆, but unfortunately the only downside i had or could find is the menu is chaotic. It was 5 single pages front to back, no book or any kind of order, just handed to you to sift through them like you're looking for a lost puppy.
I ordered take-out and had a great experience overall. I placed my order in person, and it took about 25 minutes for it to be ready. The atmosphere inside was a bit dark for my taste, but that's just a personal preference. The menu doesn't include pictures, so I really appreciated the photos others have posted, which helped me decide what to order. I chose the Jalapeño Tuna Roll and the Spider Roll. Both rolls were excellent in terms of texture and temperature. However, if you're expecting a kick from the jalapeño in the Tuna Roll, it's not very spicy. That said, I still highly recommend both rolls. The owner was attentive and answered all my questions, which added to the positive experience. The sushi rolls were neatly packed in containers specifically designed for sushi, which was a nice touch. I'll likely return to try more items on the menu.
I like Wasabi a lot! As a culinary professional myself, I appreciate an establishment with attention to detail! But, I love a place that will accommodate your request whether big or small. I do not like krab stick. However, I love real crab. They offer real crab and was willing to create all my sushi using real crab meat for a minor upcharge. Everything I got was delicious!
Our waitress was stand off-ish from the get go which was not what we are used to when we go out. Never checked on us, out the food in middle of table and walked away. Both of us were not feeling well for the next 24 hrs. Disappointed for spending that much money to have that service and not feel great afterwards.
Wanted some sushi and decided to try this spot out. The service was great and the atmosphere in the restaurant was nice. We ordered sake and miso soup to start and I thoroughly enjoyed both. For sushi, we ordered the Lone Star Roll and a few pieces of nigiri. We did enjoy the roll; however, the nigiri fell a bit short. I’m not too fond of large slices of fish and prefer it thinly sliced on top of the rice. Further, the steak teriyaki we ordered was very very tough and hard to chew. Very disappointing dish. Overall, they have some ok stuff but I doubt we’ll return.
Warning: This is a zero star review. A big zero. They served beer without a glass. I don’t care if it’s chilled or not, I will not drink beer I out of a bottle the size of a wine bottle. They served the sashimi and the Hokkigai was freezer burnt. I lost my appetite at that. The they served the Katsu Donburi AKA Katsudon on a plate, with rice in a separate bowl. It was so disgusting of an experience, I only ate the miso soup and the side salad as those were the only things properly prepared. I took all the food to go as not to spoil the experience for other people dining there. I paid my bill and included a 20% tip as these problems came from the kitchen and not the server. 74 dollars- straight into the trash. And I left hungry and unsatisfied. Save yourselves the disappointment. Don’t patronize this establishment. Zero stars review.
