Came here with my family, 3 adults and 2 children. Service was friendly and attentive, the food amazing! My kids devoured their sushi rolls and the rest of us enjoyed all of our entrees thoroughly. Definitely recommended the Dream roll, I'm already looking forward to that one again next time.

We love this sushi place! This our favorite sushi place in all of DFW! We are originally from San Diego and the owners own this location and the sushi is just like home fresh and amazing, they have so many different rolls and food entrees to chose from! Every roll is delicious 😁 the staff is always nice and accommodating and always checking on you. The sushi chefs are great! Always have good experiences every time I come in here! Ca dreaming, incredible roll and Fort Worth roll are so good and the 911 if yoh like a little spice. Peter waiting on us today for my bday and he was attentive and suprised me with a little birthday desert! The place is super cute inside great for lunches and a little date night

Everything about this place was nothing short of amazing! We took our young daughter here and she had the chicken nuggets and even those were delicious. We got the Texas roll and the Fort Worth roll (pictured below). I could eat here everyday!! Great spot and so many delicious options to choose from.

So chill and relaxed. Flavor profiles were spot on. Fries were crispy, handrolls expert level. Service was impeccable Saki is never boring. Very very pleased with another great visit.

Visited this cool new place during its soft opening for lunch. We all picked a different bento box and they were perfect! Also had two kids plates and both my kids ate all of it. The portions were more than enough to fill you up. Flavors were great and the meat quality is definitely higher grade and delicious. Staff were friendly and loved the vibe it puts out. Sushi was great, it won’t disappoint.

Best sushi place in fort worth every roll I've tried has been fire 🔥 Edit: I'm sad to change my review, but I think they must have sold to another company or something, the food just isn't as good & also smaller portions for the same price. All the staff appears to be new / different as well. Our waitress was also not friendly and I understand that people have bad days but she just seemed to hate to be there. We probably will be looking for our new go to sushi place

August 2024: Hair in my fiances sushi roll. Hair floating on top of food, although unforgivable, can be logical. But hair ENTWINED in sushi roll? Thats insane and feels deliberate. We used to love coming here and probably came here about 4 more times since my original review. Well, I couldnt stomach coming back no matter how good it was. The cherry on the sundae is that once we informed our server (after paying because we are not looking for free meals), the kitchen staff was standing by looking over at our table and laughing. Thank you, Hooked on Sushi but I am checking out. P.S. The server refunded us the roll with the hair in it after we said specifically we didnt say before the bill for a reason. Please review pic for proof. This was truly a treat. I do not normally leave 5 star reviews but from the food right to the service and atmosphere it was truly an experience. I may not have the tastebuds of a 3 star Michelin diner but I know what tastes good! Nikki and Chris were our duo server and they kept everything flowing. Not once did I have to question when food or drinks were coming. Everything is treated with such care and cleanliness. I will definitely be a repeat customer. The chicken is grilled and smoky, the rice is flavorful, the miso broth is strong, the sushi rolls melt in your mouth - maaan, excellent! Oh and drinks will knock your socks off. Yes, they are a bit pricier then the area price but its boozy, delicious and well presented.

Called to place an order for fried rice with beef and they told me it would take 15 - 20 minutes. I got to the restaurant and waited almost an hour and still no fried rice. There was several door dashers that had been waiting for orders for a while. Not to mention the dine in wasn't even full. I was really looking forward to trying their fried rice but decided to leave. A customer should not have to wait an hour just for an order of fried rice.

So incredibly sad to leave this review. I regret not reviewing 5 stars before they (I assume) recently sold to new management. I have been coming here nearly every week for about 3 years. The waiters knew my order. This was by far my favorite sushi place in the area. Recommended it to everyone I know. Always so fresh, people were so kind. The past three times I’ve gone everything has been horribly wrong. The new waitress with the face piercings acts like you just killed someone she loved in front of her. Everyone has bad days, no big deal. Until it’s every visit. We’ve had her three times now and each time she is so unpleasant and rude that the entire dining experience is completely awkward and you want to get out of there ASAP. She forgets things, ignores you, won’t look you in the eye, won’t refill drinks (even when you ask), and says about 5 words the entire time. It used to be worth it to come for the garlic edamame alone. They’ve clearly changed that recipe & the result is soggy edamame that seems like it was frozen & heated up in a microwave. The sauce is different and not good anymore. They changed the ginger dressing on the salad. Not good. The menu has changed, and the portion sizes are smaller. So far, it seems like the only thing that hasn’t changed is the pork gyoza (though they did get rid of the chicken gyoza). That is, at least, still good. I’m so disappointed. I hope I am wrong about the selling to new management. Hopefully it’s just a few bad decisions that will be turned around soon.

Let me start this with I am beyond sad about this review. We have been going to hooked on sushi once a week for almost 4 years. Last week we noticed many changes. They ripped off the first page of the menu, changed the dressing on the salad, changed the chopsticks to literally the cheapest option. We saw the biggest red flag which was a woman with the largest stack of paperwork set up at a table. I assumed this meant the restaurant was being sold or under new management. We went back today and confirmed that this was indeed the case. The one waitress was overwhelmed and barely had time to check on any table. The house tolls noticeably smaller, the tuna carpaccio that we always get was smaller and had pickled jalapeños. The worst one was the Ramen. I ordered Miso Ramen in medium spice. They brought this awful and overly spicy ramen to the table. When I tell you it was inedible because of the spice level, I’m not kidding. I got another and I immediately noticed that the bamboo shoots were different, and the broth was not miso based. I took two bites and was done. It just didn’t taste good. We are so sad to no longer see our favorite waiter as well as not having the quality food we have come to absolutely know and love. The table behind us also had the same feelings.
