Opinions de Urban Egg Fort Worth
Absolutely amazing service and the food was phenomenal. I ordered the classic eggs Benedict with the loaded hash-browns and a side of the famous biscuits and gravy, my husband ordered the famous biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and loaded hash-browns. Brook and Britney were amazing and made wonderful suggestions! Extremely knowledgeable on the menu and was able to help us get exactly what we wanted. Absolutely coming back on a regular basis. Definitely a new go-to for breakfast! 10/10!
We chose Urban Egg for our last breakfast at home, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We started by sharing the seasonal cranberry-orange scone, which was tender, not overly sweet, and had just the right balance of tart and citrus. I had the carnitas bowl, and it was outstanding flavorful, comforting, and perfectly balanced, with crispy potatoes and a beautifully cooked egg on top. My wife ordered the baked chilaquiles bowl with chicken, which was just as impressive: warm, hearty, and full of layered flavor. The caramel latte deserves a special mention smooth, rich, and genuinely soul-warming. We finished by sharing the cinnamon swirl pancake, and it was the ideal finale: soft, fragrant, and indulgent without being too heavy. A big shoutout to Billy, our server he was incredibly helpful, had great vibes, and brought an awesome attitude that made the whole experience even better. Great food, excellent coffee, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the moment. This meal will stay with us for a long time. We’ll absolutely be back.
Absolutely worth it to try! Fresh food that is freshly made, without a long wait time! We ordered several options, #1 being the recommended Biscuits and Gravy. Not your typical recipe! All meals were filling but nothing that makes you feel heavy! Definitely will be back for more!
The best breakfast I have had in a long time. I had the Smoked Salmon Benedict and it was life-changing! The staff was super kind. Every time the waiter suggested a dish, I wished that I had a bigger stomach so I can eat the entire menu! A great experience overall!
Made my own omelette but you only get 2 items must pay for more than 2. Hash browns were tasty, sausage not very salty with a side of yummy pancake. I liked that it didn't taste salty and the sauces provided added some spice and flavor that I could control. Mimosa was strong and good
This place is amazing! We typically go here when we are in Colorado but since they opened up one here 🤫. The food here is great and the employees. Cristian (if that's how its spelled) was bussing tables, answering phone calls, and checking people in all at the same time! He had an amazing attitude and didnt complain! They were short of employees so the fact that he was able to do so much was amazing! Definitely coming back!
Friendliest staff ever, from the host to the servers and cooks. Felicia was so attentive and funny. Definitely asking for her again. Food was cooked to perfection. Best chicken and waffles I ever had. Their honey lemonade is also a 10/10. Making this my new regular spot.
Listen!!!! Our first time trying this spot and it did NOT disappoint. We tried their shrimp and grits, protein bowl & cinnamon rolls! Everything was delicious! It was crowded but the service was great.
We were excited to try out Urban Egg. My husband and I came for brunch. The service was absolutely fantastic. Our server was very attentive and answered all our questions and gave great recommendations! We got the cinnamon rolls, tamale Benedict, traditional Benedict, and fruit yogurt parfait. Everything was delicious. So happy to finally have a place locally that makes a great egg benefit. We also got a delicious latte and mimosa. Very happy with our experience here and can't wait to come back. Update: We came back for more and once again they didn't disappoint! Pancake flight, Steak & Eggs, Chilaquilles, and Biscuit with Sage Sausage Gravy. Absolutely delicious and service was amazing, once again!
Great place across the board. My wife and I have been here multiple times and have 0 complaints. The food is good, the coffee is good, and the prices are good 👍 Honestly the only thing I would change is the colors / logo itself. Neither are very pleasing or eye catching. I think a more modern logo would really put urban egg on everyone's list of favorites
Service was absolutely amazing. The energy from every host and server was super warm and friendly and they were so helpful with recommendations. I got an iced latte with oat milk, white chocolate, and hazelnut and the chicken and waffle benedict. The food was absolutely incredible and we will be back for sure.
Tried it and will definitely be back! I loved the location, the cozy indoor seating, and the spacious patio. They’re even adding an outdoor bar soon so you can grab drinks while waiting for your table. Such a great touch. I ordered the Buttermilk Biscuit & Sage Sausage Gravy, Strawberry Basil Lemonade, Billion Dollar Bourbon Bacon, Stuffed French Toast, and Cheese Grits. Everything was delicious, and each dish had its own standout flavor. Pro tip: make a reservation or join the waitlist ahead of time to avoid a long wait. Totally worth it!
Came early in the morning for some breakfast and heard good things about urban egg and that they are good in Colorado. So I have to agree it was definitely delicious and I enjoyed everything about it and food was hot and fresh and the syrup was warm as well and the hot sauces are really good. So I definitely recommend this place.

I had never heard of urban egg so we decided to give it a shot. Luckily it has a lot of tables because it was pretty busy, but we only waited a few minutes for a table on a Saturday. It appears to be a slightly upscale breakfast and lunch restaurant. We found out it was started in Colorado. The dining room was very clean and they have quite a few tables outside, on the patio as well. I had the shrimp and grits, which was pretty amazing. It seemed like a small portion at first, but it filled me up. Great flavors and the grits were cooked perfectly. I also ordered a biscuit and it was obviously homemade but it wasn’t the best biscuit I’ve ever had. My wife really liked the tamale Benedict. I took a bite and it was good. Just a hair too spicy for me. Overall, I would come back, definitely to try some different items on the menu
Enjoyable breakfast. Friendly, easy-going staff. Ordered the "Award Winning Buttermilk and Sage Sausage Gravy" with 2 eggs over easy and Hash Browns. It was cold the day I went so decided on a hot Green Tea... surprisingly it paired quite nicely. 🙂 Overall a good experience.
Our first time in, engine was super hospitable. The bourbon bacon was delish and set a high bar. I ordered the shrimp and grits which was a good size plate. Sadly my guy’s steak and eggs were brought cold; it was a small portion of steak which was over cooked. We will have to try again.
Urban Egg adds a great brunch option to the Alliance area. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the environment is well-designed and spacious. My vanilla cold brew coffee was unfortunately lacking flavor and was a bit "watery" for my liking. The food was fresh and had an appealing presentation. The carnitas bowl and the ultimate breakfast sandwich were good eats, but Fred's Hawaiian Pancake is where it's at!
Personally, I don’t like when my food is too sweet with savory. So for me the waffle was way too sweet for the chicken and Benedict egg. They didn’t seem to compliment each other. I give it a 6.5 but my husband gave it an 8. The corn beef hash was not bad but nothing I would order again. Both my husband and I gave it a 7. However, the cinnamon pancake was DELICIOUS! And honestly I would come back just for the biscuit and gravy. Yum.
Urban Egg location was launched nearby where I live so we tried it. Clean, good atmosphere and friendly staff. I think the food is okay. Tasty but nothing too special. Just taste like home made breakfast but cooking is clean. They have some innovative new juices it’s pretty good. Long wait times, too crowded and noisy. But I think it’s worth a one time try. Not a bad experience but 45-1 hour wait for this no so special food is kinda stressful. Kinda expensive too! And a staff skipping the line seating someone they know prior to others was little unprofessional.

Our food would have been great if it didn’t take so long for us to get it and it wasn’t cold when it arrived. But the staff was warm and welcoming, they remade our food and it was good. Not sure if we’ll be back but hopefully next time we do there wont be any complications with our food!
The food was ok, I found it to be over seasoned and overpriced. I wasn’t expecting to pay an avg of $15 for a plate of eggs and ham. At that price, I expected for my socks to be blown off. The only thing that happened to my socks was when a server dropped food and it splattered all over my legs. Not even an apology. It’s not that the food was bad. It’s just breakfast. There wasn’t anything that stood out to me that separated it from your local diner down the road. Better atmosphere and nicer plates? Sure. But is it worth a $5 up charge for less food? Going here made me feel like I was trying to fit in with the popular kids at school. Hot trendy spot that everyone is talking about and just says it’s amazing and you have to go. It was fine… maybe it’s just not my vibe. I can accept that. As I always say, this is just my opinion. Go check it out. It may blow you away and become your fav spot. It just wasn’t for me.
