This is one of the greatest Taco Bell locations in the south bay area. Super friendly staff. Always gets it right. Very friendly cashier. I didn't find this level of courtesy anywhere else in a fast food place. Great job guys.

Best taco bell i hv been through at the night .... the drive through staff made my night, very nice, funny, nd friendly.
I came here with my kid through the drive-thru. I have my kid do the whole transaction. The child was five but the guy at the window was so patient and kind and understanding
The people are very friendly I come here like twice a week on my way to work unfortunately the last two weeks my spicy potato soft taco has been cold.. I'm going to make sure I touch it next time as soon as I get my food before jumping on the freeway
Probably eat Taco Bell once every few years but this is a nice clean location with self serve soda and self ordering kiosk. Lots of parking in the back. Much better than Del Taco
I am from Midwest, I miss the $5 box from there - come with a medium drink, cinnamon twists, crunchy taco, bean burrito and a promotional item like chicken chalupa or something.
So sad watermelon freeze sold out. But the strawberry one was just as good! Great drive through service and on point w our order 😊

A clean well run franchise... A young group of employees... And all of them used "sir" and "ma'am". They must have some good leadership..
So far, Only thing that remains a lack of still in 2022 Is those that work in Restaurants & unfortunately DO NOT have a clue of thier First Task, duty, foremost responsibility..... Customer Service with genuine courtesy/customized but not taken too personally/welcoming because if that Customer stepping in decided to not walk in- You would be UNEMPLOYED, Think about it!!!!! This Taco Bell fortunately does an almost perfect mentioned above!
One of the better Taco Bells I've been to! The food was really good! We don't see that very often anymore in the fast food industry! Not sure why this restaurant is only 3.8 stars but from my visit, should be up in the mid 4's atleast!
I dislike the touch pad order urself thing. I mean it's cool to choose what I want exactly. But the option to pay with cash and have to go to a cashier is senseless. I think if u are paying cash, u should go to the cashier automatically and there should be a cashier right there waiting on u and not the other way around. People came in after me left before me!! NOT COOL!
This is the best taco bell I've ever stopped by. The cashier said " when I'm here, it's always fresh!" So i got chicken chalupa supreme and steak doritos supreme. They both were the best!
Pretty standard for a taco Bell. There is usually a long line at the drive thru but it moves really fast. Use the mobile app to place your order ahead and you really fly through the line.
Check your items! got a dollar item instead of my 6.99 cinna rolls... its like this everywhere fast food... working together is the trick... watching the age differences thru the drive thru... young guy jumps the gun, old man sits back and watches the young person fail....
I'd go out of my way to eat at this taco bell. The food is always served nice and hot and served pretty quickly. Management seems to be doing a great job keeping employees around
This was my first time trying Taco Bell! And I wish I had tried it earlier. Amazing amazing tacos! I ordered the box it up menu (idk if it’s their regular menu or not) but it had tacos, nacho fries, burrito and chalupas. Didn’t regret a thing, it was a lot of food and very tasty too. The staff were the friendliest- I don’t eat beef, so they substituted beef with chicken without any fuss. Most places don’t do this. I would totally recommend Taco Bell and I’d obviously go there again!
Their staff is so nice, I had to write a review somewhere!! Of all the fast food joints, this hiring manager is doing his/her job right, because every staff member we've spoken with here has made our brief drive-thru or pick-up a pleasant one!
I can talk about Taco Bell all day and their food. I think and still believe that their value meal deals are worth buying. You cant go wrong for a two dollar burrito. Some Taco Bells are a dollar. Yes, you read it correctly.....a dollar. You can feast for ten dollars or as little as five dollars. Thia place was a cool spot not to mention that it was almost noon and there was no one inside. Granted, its Monday he day after Christmas, but still! There was no one around, the service was almost express, the service was killer, and the place was spotless. That is saying a lot from some Taco Bell's out there.....like the Taco Bell in San Luis Obispo. The Taco Bell there at night is horribly and disgracefully awful. Don't doordash at night out there because the wait time is approximate forever. Anyway, the Foster City Taco Bell is for the lack of a better word flawless. I cant talk about the drive through service because i walked in. Oh and if you need to use their facilities. I recommend going elsewhere. Other than that, OOOHHHH and thier fries and nacho sauce.....overrated....lol. You thought i was going to say you need to try it, didn't you? Well, happy value meal eating! Cheers!
Went to this drive thru and the attendant had excellent customer service. The car behind us was extremely rude and called him the N word. The attendant was shocked and talked back. I'm writing this review to vouch for him if he got in trouble for talking back to the extremely rude customer. The attendant doesn't deserve to be spoken to like that, even if he is white.

From the what seems to be the teenagers to the adults, it is consistently a great experience. Guy at the drive through today gave like 5 star restaurant service. Great Job to the staff and to the people who trained them.
It was after long time here . . it is new and upgraded exterior and interior.. There are order screens on your right once you enter. This is so much user friendly system that you can make your own taco 🌮 or anything the way you like .. I am veggie guy and so always have to reminder multiple times while placing order and have to replace and remove lot of things while ordering veggie dishes .. but with this new Ordering kiosk, that experience became piece of cake .. place is clean and staff is also working hard to make it safe and clean for people. Restroom is open and super clean ..extra points for this .. you can dine in inside or outside ..

Fast, effecient service at the drive thru. But helps to know what you're ordering ahead of time because you don't get to see the menu until you're up at the speaker to order

First off, It's a Taco Bell, so this review is based on a scale of Taco Bell restaurants, not to compare it to other Mexican restaurants. Clean and recently remodeled with an efficient drive-thu. Surprisingly San Mateo has 3 Taco Bells and none of them are drive-thru.
Very friendly, easy to order, pretty quick. Even though my order was correct on the screen, when I got home several things were wrong. Luckily it's all pretty much the same, but check your order before you leave.
Definitely one of the slower Taco Bells, but I attribute that to them actually making the food properly as opposed to throwing disproportionate amounts of toppings into the meal. Every time I've gotten food from here, it's been really packed with beans and toppings. The people in the drive-thru are also very friendly and chatty.
Taco Bell is my favorite fast food restaurant. If you make an order at the restaurant to eat the food their, it will take a while to wait for the food though. Other than that I go there pretty often.
We went to SFO airport to Drop our family members and it got late almost 12:20am, My wife was so hungry she was looking to grab some drive through food. Then we searched through google this is the one Drive through restaurant that was opened till 1am. We were so happy to see something that late. Staff was friendly and was polite.
Yay It’s been a long time since my friend and I had dined out there. Just on a hungry whim we decided to try it out again and to our big surprise there were new workers one a young new girl and another lady there. They very nice and attentive. The food was given in generous amounts and oh so good. We both will definitely come again. Thank you!
I have a love /hate feeling about taco bell - I deeply appreciate that I can count on taco bell to always have vegetarian food available when I'm on a road trip or just in a hurry. I am at times disappointed with the food quality, but it is just a function of the cost of materials used. They employees at taco bell always seem nice and very efficient, and certainly hard working.

I love this old guy working here. He is so upbeat, knows the computer and multi-tasks! He works circles around the other workers. What an asset for Taco Bell.
The electronic machine does not work right and have to order napkins, flat ware, lids and straws and no small teas only 25 oz tea which is too big for a senior or small person. Must staff suck in good customer service and the customers are always right!
Pros: - people working there were nice (they smiled) - terrace is nice (you can watch the cars) - exactly between Yosemite and SFO (nice view near the bridge) - nice weather (sunny) - clean (the toilets are spacious) - good marketing (I like purple) Cons: - the fountain drinks were bad (according to EU standards) - they prioritize the drive thru over the pedestrian experience - the food is Taco Bell
What you'd expect from a run to the border
I generally use the drive-thru and the parking lot is hectic because of the Walmart next door and there's always a 50% chance of someone standing in the corner of the building acting kind of scary.
This location never messes up my order and the food is always hot and pretty good. I don't know if it's this location or corporate Taco Bell's rules for COVID but there is no one at all to talk to if you if have a problem. No one to order from (they have kiosks which don't take cash and online ordering), no one calls out in store pick up orders. You can't get anyone's attention because they are too busy with the drive thru. I watched two people just walk out and go to another restaurant across the street today in a span of 5 minutes because they couldn't talk to anybody.

Same happened with the person who got his order before me. About the most positive is the food is generally prepared well and the location is convenient.
They frequently give beef in our order when I have specifically requested them to substitute beans for the beef. When I respectfully return it, they do make a new one for me but they never apologize for their mistake - not once have they said "sorry about that". They need to work on their manners. It's so frustrating to come home and drive back and they don't even apologize. Also, they always forget to give the drink and I have to ask every single time 🙄

Unfortunately, this Taco Bell was dissatisfactory. Portions were dimunitive (the referenced photograph is of a beef chalupa, with approximately 20g of beef). They forgot my nacho cheese sauce, and the tables were dirty and unkept. I have fond memories as a child at this particular Taco Bell location and it instills a certain melancholy in me to see that it has gone downhill. 2 stars.

Went 30min prior to closing. Instead of telling me they were out of meat , they replaced it with lettuce as they knew it would be too late to fix

I ordered the 2 chalupa‘s & taco meal, with a large nacho fry & reg hot coffee. What I received was COLD EVERYTHING!!! The ICED COFFEE HAS NO SUGAR AND IS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!! Normally, when in the area, I go to McDonald’s… I won’t make THIS MISTAKE EVER AGAIN! Then when I told the cashier what I ordered, stated that, I ordered an ice coffee & proceeded to tell me to have a good day! I SPENT NEARLY $19.56 on the most HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD with Taco Bell!!!! I’d rather walk across HOT GLASS than to EVER EAT FROM HERE AGAIN!!! Don’t waste your MONEY!!!!

I come to this Taco Bell All the time. But Today will be my last time back. Due to the Manager trying to give a cheaper swap of food when I paid more for something else???? Sound like a Bait and Switch.... Bad Management....
Taco Taco Bell used to be good until they change their menu and made everything extremely expensive fast food is for a cheap meal quick you're paying as much as going to a restaurant might as well go to a restaurant not the fast food place and their value menu shrank like I said the point of fast food is to get a deal not to break your wallet haven't gone back since all the changes if somebody will buy for free I will definitely go that's the only reason I went to this location

This afternoon I sent my husband to get me Cheese Quesadilla with extra Jalepeno sauce and after he placed the order they asked him if he wanted jalapeño sauce or jalapeños and he said jalapeños sauce. They made it with jalapeños, actual jalapeños not the sauce. When the menu already says jalapeño sauce why do they have to question what you want . Ridiculous.
Ordered my food at 9:37pm. It was a chicken chalupa and a taco. It is now 10:08 and I still haven't received my food. Waiting 30 minutes for food is unexceptable at a fast food restaurant. Never coming back here.
one of them who was working cash register wore gloves but it was already dirty cuz he touch cashes, wall switch and open the doors then made some taco for people. Thank god another woman made some tacos for me. I won't go there anymore.

Been there last week at taco at Forster city I don't like taco very much ,but I have taco once a while but they take so long to get my order but they do their best to take care of customer so they ok I think .

I have now stopped going to ANY Taco Bell restaurants because of this, my local, location. That’s how bad. Poor service, messed up orders, low quality, inconsistency. No thanks. I used to work at one in the 80’s as a kid. It’s pathetic now. Just DIY at home.
Yeah I have to agree with the other reviews. I used to go here maybe two or three times a week. Started going downhill fast a few months ago. I don't know if it's new staff or management or employees just ran out of Fs to give. I avoid it now.
Waited in line for 10 minutes to order food. The line wasn’t moving so I used the kiosk to order. It then took 15 minutes to get my food. I lost my appetite by the time I got my food. Horrible service, staff is super slow and they pretend you’re not there so they don’t have to help! Hire more staff!!!
Lady at the drive thru window was very rude and tried to give me someone else's order and got even ruder when I tried to tell her that it was not the right order I will never go back to that place and going to make sure to let everyone I know not to go back there if I could give a zero star I would worst Taco Bell I have ever been to
Ordered food from drive thru. Bad customer service. Female worker has really bad attitude. when I asked for a cup of ice. Found long black hair in My taco disgusting.
Worst taco bell of my life, I've never had a cheesy gordita crunch be so stale. Literally go to any other taco bell in the bay area, this one is awful.
Trying to order takeout but very very poor customer service. Hours are all mixed up on Google, Uber eats, and the website. Employees can hardly comunícate, avoid this location.

A new Kiosk to order food....bad idea. I believe this is due to 20/hr Policy of Ca. causing profits to drop. 20/hr minimum should be eliminated. Employment will skyrocket, prices will go down Let the free market be free...leave it alone.
Taco shells were stale. Bill and Ted's dumb and dumber sons were working the drive through. They tried to start a fire on the credit reader with my card, causing my bank to freeze it for attempted fraud. I'm kicking my own ass for deciding to go to this location. DO NOT GO HERE.
Such bad customer service! Their technology doesn't work and the employee Mr. Tim is cussing and giving bad words to the customer. Really? Is this for real? Like treating your customer bad. I would give negative rating if I could. Visited 2/25/21 @6.30p
I ordered two bean burritos by drive through. It seems two different people have made them. One was okay but the otherone has hardly one teaspoon of beans in it and some onions. I felt like i was chewing on a rubber made tortilla. I will never order from drive thrue lane. It seems they wrap up stuff in hurry and not providing a quality.

It’s ruining your mood place. The manager is so rude and careless. I placed my order online and go to pick up, they can’t find my order while I drive-up, so I showed them the QR code through the window but the manager came, not even looking into it or trying to help, but just said they can't find my order. She told me that I placed my order somewhere else, so I confirmed with her the address “1131 Triton dr, foster city” that showed on my phone, and she said “no, that’s not ours”, which is absolutely the place where I’m standing. And she asked me to move my car because she has a lot of customers waiting in line, as if I’m not a customer. So I have to carry my baby and walked into the store, showing the manager the confirmation email, and that’s when she started to actually helping me locate my order. Before that, the only thing she did is trying to send me away.
I came to pick up my order I made with the Taco Bell app, but they said someone claiming to be me already picked it up. They’ll call out a name and anyone can claim to be that person and pick up the food, no questions asked. My issue was resolved, but with an unapologetic attitude. They need a better system to prevent other people from stealing your order.
This place is absolutely terrible. The people working here lack what it takes in the customer service department and the food is ALWAYS soggy. We ordered a DR Pepper and it had no carbonation. When we brought it to the employees attention he didn't seem to care and had a deal with it attitude towards us. The heavy sighs we received when trying to correct our order were also not appreciated. I will now avoid this Taco Bell at all costs!!
The store cares more about their fictitious service times than they do about customer service. I just watched all 4 cars that entered the drive-through get parked. Every time I preorder my food using the app and I show up at the drive-through, whether there's one person in line or I'm the only person in line, you pull up to the window and you're immediately told go please park your car. This is horrendous service and something needs to be done.
We ordered cantina chicken taco and beef crunch wrap supreme. The taco had a small piece of chicken and barely any beef in crunch wrap. Looks like cost cutting is going on.
May 7, 2022, around 12pm, went to their drive thru and was asked to wait at the parking lot for my order. Service crew came without the water I had asked when I placed my order. She told me to get inside the store and get it while she walked away. The purpose of the drive thru is for customers not to get off their cars. Customer service on this Taco Bell store is very poor. One star is an overstatement.
Thursday, March 5 and the guy at the drive up window kept my credit card two hours later I had to go all the way back to get my card. The manager said that the employee said I drove off to fast and he couldn’t give it back to me. I didn’t drive off too fast because I was still at the drive up window making sure I had all of my order then I had to go back in the store to get napkins so clearly that was a lie. The next day come to find out that they charged my credit card for more food. I’m trying to work with Chris who is the district manager unfortunately he’s not returning any of my calls. I called my Visa company to find out that the other charge on my card was done four minutes later again by the drive up window person. I’m so irritated that they’re not taking responsibility and that I’m gonna have to cancel my credit card for fraud and I have to get a new card with a new number it’s such an inconvenience. I’m surprised they allow people to steal customers credit cards at the front window . I’m assuming the car behind me must’ve been his friends so he get my card to give his friend a free meal because again remember he told the manager he couldn’t give me my card and supposedly she put it in the safe immediately clearly that’s another lie. Has anybody else experienced this problems at the Foster City Taco Bell I know I won’t be going back .
