We love islands it's our go to family spot. It could definitely be a little cleaner though, a lot of times we go and there is food on the floor under the tables.

The food was good. The staff was friendly enough. We got a smaller table then I asked for. I ended up pulling a chair from another table to sit on the end. The table was very crowded. Some of the staff could have communicated better with one another. But some staff could be newer then others. Overall The food was great and the staff was nice.

They sat us in a dark lit table in the back west side of restaurant by ourselves despite having so many open tables with views, decorations and entertainment. Is this because we have children? The chocolate milk spilled all over my toddlers white shirt down his face because of the lid when he drank it. After I reattached the lid it spilled on him again and my hand and sleeve. The waiter said he would bring us a new lid but first he took the tables order that was next to us while we have sticky chocolate milk all over. Finally another lid and again it spilled all over my toddler as he drank even with me holding the cup lid in place. The server looked surprised and when I asked if this has ever happened to any other children that dine here he said no. The fries were hard and overcooked and tasted liked they had been frozen. Not like we remember. The burgers tasted great except they were out of onions because of some shipment contamination. Since there were no onions they had no salsa for the tortilla chips we paid for. Everything was off. After speaking with the manager she offered us warm wet towels to wipe the chocolate milk off with. That's it? Owell.

It was amazing dining experience with family. Very knowledgeable staff with helpful nature. They have maintained Burger mastery since more than 40 years. Simply superb....

First Visit—Great Happy Hour! Found out you can only get the HH in the Bar—so sat in the Bar—not a great vibe. But… sliders are ok—only have Ketchup (seems would put an Island Sauce on them). Onion Rings are the bomb and it was great being able to get a small order instead of the Regular size! Ask your server for that option as it wasn’t on the menu. My Bartender was great. Had Fresh Brewed Iced Tea—so many places give it out of the fountain…no good. So A+ for this place on that! Parking near is busy, but plenty in the shopping center. Probably try some of the other HH items next time!

This is the first time I was totally disappointed in Islands. Normally I look forward to come to town and having great food and service. The food was nasty tasting and made my stomach upset for over a day. The waitress avoid us walking around serving other table around us but never helped us. Drinks empty for over 30 mins. We flagged someone else down to get check. If this keeps up won't be coming back.

Meh, I’ve had better and no extra, cold loner fry either! I tried the Impossible burger and I just wasn’t that impressed. First, it’s a soy burger and we’ve all had our fair share of those. Second, it just lacked the taste of “tastes just like a burger”. No it doesn’t. It tastes like a moist variety of bland veggie burger. Fortunately I got the onion rings as a side. They were excellent!

I am CEO of one of Orange Counties most successful restraunt groups both casual and fine dining. On Sundays during my Cancer treatment I forçe m myself to sneak out and be with a friend or 2 and family for fish tacos that I eat every Sunday. I do tip everyone. The bartender, Server and Bus boy. Upon tipping busboy your lesbian manager was very upset with the half hug bro hug i gave the Young man. Very strange reaction from manager who had nothing to do with exchange. This past Sunday to get my fish taco fix we went to Islands Huntington Beach where tacos were very dry and damn near had no sauce in them at all. Where am i to go now.

They play country music now. What a buzz kill. Islands used to play the best surf themed music. The cook can't get a simple order correct. I won't be coming back. Unfortunately I came back because the manager was nice to me and gave me a gift card. The wait staff had an attitude because I didn't like the looks of the drink brought out. The drink had scummy foam on top. The food didn't improve much. The music is awful and boring. Bring back the great atmosphere Islands used to have.

What can I say, this place sucks. The wait to order was 10 mins, the wait for the food was 45 mins and that's with us speaking to the manager and they rushed it. I can say the waiter and manager attitudes were both excellent, it's just the overall experience was terrible. Had hungry kids that day there for an 1 hour without food. They ran out of regular buns also???? We had to get wheat which was bad. Something is off with that bun. Look at my guac or if you can even see any. You pay $2.25 for guacamole access you get 1 teaspoon!? The waiter did get me more. Like I said, the service was good. But overall is just terrible. Avoid this place.
