Those restaurants where time seems to have stood still. A classic mountain restaurant, very elegant and welcoming, with ample parking and a spacious veranda with a beautiful view of the mountains. I assume it's a family-run establishment, serving traditional Piedmontese cuisine at very reasonable prices, even too fair. The appetizers include a choice of four or five different courses, including cold cuts with salami and prosciutto, Russian salad with mayonnaise, I think homemade but I'm not sure, peppers with anchovies and a very delicate green sauce, not even a hint of garlic, then fresh Alba beef, well-seasoned and not at all dry, fabulous. At just €9, a truly magnificent appetizer. Everything is delicious and high-quality, and they serve you directly on a tray, where if you ask for a small reinforcement, they're quick and easy to serve. Then the first courses... the tagliolini with local mushrooms were delicious, a very filling dish, but the polenta with local Raschera cheese, a typical local cheese, was also commendable: lots of cheese and a little oil, nice and dense with a delicate flavor. I highly recommend it. Here, too, you're always very reasonably priced, at €9 a plate. The desserts are equally as delicious, all homemade, and paired with a very good house wine—a delicate and delightful treat. Step inside, be greeted by the kindest of professionals, and enjoy a relaxing moment, far from the stress of the city. Highly recommended, definitely worth stopping in for a bite.

There's nothing more to add to what's been said about the restaurant over the decades. Everything is of the highest quality, fresh, and carefully prepared, which has made it rightly famous. The novelty of the aperitif in the magnificent outdoor space was a surprise. It goes hand in hand with the quality of the restaurant. Added to this is the beauty of the location and the tranquility of the surrounding greenery.

Ate here on a Thursday evening while on holiday in Frabosa Soprana. It had been recommended by a few local people as a good place to try out piedmontese food and we were not disappointed, started with a plate of olives, and then I had the Milanese and my wife had cannelloni. Both were delicious, along with the sides of vegetables and chips. We shared a tiramisu for dessert which was fresh and delicious. We had a carafe of the house red, which was also lovely. The owners were very attentive and provided great service. We would definitely recommend a visit here if you are in the area. Fantastic value for money, delicious food and lovely wine at a very fair price, with fabulous service on top. A quick update to the above review after a return visit in February 2024. My wife has recently been diagnosed coeliac and as a result our eating out has been seriously curtailed as we figure out what is OK. We met some friends from the US in Frabosa and went here for dinner with them, with my wife not expecting to eat. The staff were really understanding and assured us that she could eat some of the items, and clearly showed us what was OK, and assured there was no cross contamination. Again, the food and service were fantastic. This place is a gem and well worth a visit. If you are coeliac you will find lots you can eat too.

The service and authentic cuisine are always excellent. I've known it for many years, and returning is like a pleasant journey back in time! The complete meal, from appetizers to dessert, with complimentary wine, coffee, and liqueurs, is in line with current prices of €35-38... The staff are kind and friendly. Worth a visit and highly recommended!

A family-run restaurant surrounded by nature with a breathtaking view, the decor is simple and homey, with the option of dining al fresco. The dishes were very good; in addition to the appetizers (all excellent), I ordered half a portion of Raschera cheese gnocchi and half a portion of mushroom gnocchi, and everything was truly delicious. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable, so overall I was satisfied. I recommend booking in advance, as you might not be able to find a table.

Classic "old-fashioned" restaurant. Standard, low-quality appetizers, with the only redeeming feature being the carpaccio. We then had gnocchi with raschera cheese... just passable. High price for the quality.

The restaurant is located on the hills of Frabosa Soprana (Cuneo) and overlooks the beautiful valley below. It has ample parking and numerous tables, including outdoor seating on a large terrace with a view. Classic Piedmontese cuisine, including traditional appetizers, is served. The staff is friendly and attentive.

I'm sorry, but my experience was negative! I ordered an appetizer that I struggled to finish: subpar cold cuts, tasteless Russian salad made with only potatoes and carrots, and peppers (canned) seasoned with an indefinable sauce (you're the land of bagna cauda!!)! I would only save the raw meat! The gnocchi were barely passable! And last but not least, a lousy coffee!
