Found this gem a few months back during the pandemic..passed by it a number of times and never went in until one day I said we are trying this place and all I have to say is wow!!! From the appetizers, main courses, specials, burgers everything has been delicious! We go like 3 times a week if not more and I am working my way through their menu which has quite a bit on it lol...I can eat the food over and over again. The staff is so welcoming and so sweet..love Helen and Georgi! the bartenders are on point. We go mostly on Wednesday nights Saturday or Sundays nights when our fav bartender is there Nick lol...but all the bartenders are great! They also keep the place very clean and the bathrooms as well. As busy as they could get, the food comes out pretty quick that is a big plus too but I also do not mind waiting if i have to for the food, it is worth it to me. Also it is Close to home!

Trotters has become a mainstay in Franklin Square over the past number of years. The food is consistently delicious and they have a wide ranging menu for a place of their size. We love the Bavarian pretzel and the Mac and cheese bites that are both served with a delicious cheese sauce on the side. You can never go wrong with a Philly cheesesteak, French dip, cheeseburger wrap, or the steak tidbits as they are all fantastic. Their seasoned fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings are all top notch. The service is excellent with an extremely pleasant wait staff! Highly recommend!

A friend and I had about an hour to spare before a movie at the local theater started and decided to stop by here for a bite and drinks because it's so close. I'm glad we did, we had a great experience. It was crowded, but we were able to sit at the bar and didn't mind ordering and eating there either. The bartenders were all really friendly and funny and we ended up making some new friends with some of the other peeps at the bar. The food was delicious. I had the shrimp quesadillas, and my friend ordered the Trotter's Burger which he greatly enjoyed. I do wish they had a little more extensive seafood options; at least a fish and chips. The drinks were also fairly priced and strong 👍🏽. Overall a great experience, I heard they have live music at 9PM, we couldn't stick around long enough to experience it but it seems to be a big draw.

I would like anyone tto try this experiment which has been my experience.Order takeout of the same order you had eaten before in the restaurant. Let me know if it is cooked the same or do you think less care went into meals or more concentration on meal being completed (15 mins). Well fries were burned n soggy, meat was rare than med/well..As the economy worsens i definitely will note place and choose wisely. Best if luck.

We came in as regular customers known to the staff there enjoy coming to listen to music and having dinner! , We came in to watch the Ranger game along with other people at the bar and at 9:30- 10, when I asked when it was closing the bartender said the kitchen closed at 9 o’clock. The bartender proceeded to put the chairs up on the bar count out his drawer And mention to one of the customers at the bar that he doesn’t answer to anybody but himself he has to get up at 4:30 in the morning for work. I thought it was very unprofessional.! We are paying customers. Everyone makes choices and we should not be short changed because you’re working the next day! Very disappointed !

The manager was so rude and mean, didn’t know how to talk nice, was there Sep 19,2025, his service was horrible, people stay away from this place , the owner should get manager who knows how to treat customer with respect, went to have a good time but what a very bad experience.

Just got diagnosed with the norovirus after eating here a few days ago. Me and my fellow patron. Someone there didn't wash their hands properly, failed to clean their food station, cross contaminated food. Now two people are in excruciating pain because of their unclean practices. Will never eat there again. You can't pay me to eat here. Quality has significantly dropped.
