Opinions de Califonia craft beer Fremont
I was a little skeptical coming here because I had heard some reviews about when they had just opened but it seems like things are really improved and it's a pretty awesome joint to hang out with. 16 taps constantly rotating with great beer. Each time I've been there, I've seen old kegs go out and new kegs come in which is awesome to see. I had also heard that in the beginning the bartenders seemed stand off-ish but that's definitely not an issue anymore if it was an issue then. Definitely coming back here for more.
Awesome place. My comfort zone. Great collection of beers. Great service. They mainly serve beer, don't serve snacks/aspects, but they do have a few snacks items, but good post is, they allow outside food... Amazing environment... My go-to place for de-stressing... :-)
Neighborhood craft beer place with rotating taps. They always have something good for everyone. They made the samplers too expensive but the beers are always good, the staff know their stuff and you can even find a nice bottle to buy while you're there ...And either take home or drink it there for a tiny corkage fee.
I just began commuting to Fremont for a three-week job. California craft beer is a block away and makes the whole endeavor worth it. Comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff, incredible selection of beers on tap and in bottles. The Avery Tangerine quadruple is phenomenal.
Super nice little craft beer place off mission! Vibes remind me of Sacramento breweries. Came on a Saturday afternoon around 4pm to meet up with some friends who were brew hopping.
Best tasting craft beers in Fremont. Amazing selection which rotates at least weekly (I haven’t been there twice in the same week). Friendly staff, always welcoming for a tasting before buying. Indoors and outdoors seating. No food except chips but welcomed to get food from else where to eat it there.
Excellent variety of draft beers for a local bar in the 'burbs. Always a good array of IPAs and lighter beers, as well as Belgians, porters, sours, and stouts. Service is good and attentive. Tables tend to get filled at night but vibes are pretty good. Prices are reasonable, if sometimes a little high--they're comparable to those in a New York City bar, but given the carefully curated draft list, it's all good. Nice place to watch a Warriors game.
Chill vibes and great beer. Not too crowded, great place to hang out with the post work crowd. Holy crap this place has an amazing beer selection. There's been an entirely different menu of craft beers every time I've gone, and I haven't been disappointed yet. Service is quick and it's a great place to get a good beer and watch whatever sports game is on. They also have a fridge filled with all kinds of beer and cider to take home, excellent selection. There's good food in the area you're allowed to bring in since CCB doesn't serve any real food (just chips). This place is definitely worth visiting, just make sure you bring some food.
I'm so glad this place is still open. Please visit with your favorite noms ( yes you can bring food ) and enjoy a wonderful craft beer hangout!!!
This is exactly what was missing in Fremont. Amazing selection, good music, and a mellow casual vibe. If you love beer, this is the spot for you! 🍻
A brave pub, well kept with a variety of small brand beers. In a cooler with a large selection. The place is located in an otherwise distinctly un-buzzy strip of closed down stops on the mission blvd just outside the old Mission San Jose. It almost feels like a cafe, except for beers. Large TVs all around show sports channels, cricket included. If you happen to visit the mission or just a local wanting a quiet beer, simply to step out the house for a change this is a good place. Just don’t expect to have a lot of people around.
They have really good collection of IPA and other high alc beers. Calif craft is known for its quality and large collection of local beers 🍻. You can buy your own food and eat here with your beers and Frieda and watch games too. They have a open patio now. The owner and the bartender both are really cool.
This was a local watering hole for a few months and even longer for my partner. I often worked here remotely on Friday afternoons. They were always friendly and the beer was always on point — both on tap and in the fridge! They have some killer selection here!
Happy this place have reopened! Very cool owners :) they were open to suggestions and can't wait to be back to try the beers on tap as well as canned beers.
Great place with good selection of beer on tap. Free samples before committing to a whole pint. Loved the hazy IPA they currently offer. The indoor seatings are not available yet. They've got a whole outdoor patio next to the shop with plenty of space in between each table 👍.

Excellent neighborhood bar. However, the selection makes it a craft beer destination 🍻!
This place is a wonderful hidden gem! It has a relaxed, welcoming vibe, great beer, and the owner is absolutely lovely. I’m traveling through town solo and really appreciated how safe and inviting it felt.
These guys have reopened and the beer choice are the best in the Bay Area. You guys need to open more outlets. Awesome options for everyone, even ones who don’t like beer and like cocktails… they have sweet beers as well.
Good place to try out local craft beers.
What's wrong with Fremont?! This is a good bar. It serves beer. That's what this city needs, a place for people to be. But we are here on a Friday night and there are a total of 5 people here. People need to come here and support local business and local breweries!
I recently had the amazing opportunity to conduct a Mandala Workshop at California Craft Beer, and it was such an energizing and joyful experience! The moment you walk in, the vibe is warm, fun, and full of great energy—perfect for creativity and community. A huge shout-out to Karishma, the incredible owner. She is so kind, supportive, and genuinely passionate about what she does. Working with her was an absolute pleasure, and she made the entire event smooth and enjoyable. Her hospitality truly sets this place apart. And of course, the beer! Their craft beer selection is absolutely fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and a big hit with everyone who attended. It added such a nice touch to the workshop and made the whole evening even more enjoyable. I’m so grateful for the opportunity and can’t wait to collaborate again. California Craft Beer is a gem in Fremont!

Nice brewery this side of town. It's byof. So we brought some nuts and kebabs. They don't let you sample.. you have to buy a flight. They also have wine. About 14 varieties of beer on tap. They also have canned beer from other breweries.
Small craft beer bar/market. Great for catching up with a friend or for a larger group of coworkers. Last visit was for a going away party, on a Tuesday we were the largest groups there and the guys working were super friendly. Best part is that you can bring in food or have it delivered!
The rotating taps mean a high probability you'll find something new to try, each time you visit (unless, of course, you're a daily visitor). This place has a friendly staff and attracts a mellow, easy-going patronage. It's a great place where you'll find you've left having an intellectually rewarding conversation with a random person you just met. It's everything you'd expect a great coffee shop to be, except with beer instead.
The have a great craft beer selection. We were there on a Friday night. It was busy, but not too bad. They ran out of clean glasses at one point, so we had to wait on our second round. The place was crazy loud. I'm not sure if it's the acoustics or the alcohol!
Great atmosphere, and knowledgeable staff. Not only a good selection of local California brews but nice choices from other areas as well. Anna was a top-notch notch conversationalist; always a plus at a neighborhood tap room!
Craft will not wow you, but you can't go wrong coming here either since, well you're in Fremont. - good spot to catch up with friends - great selection of beers on tap - place is small, ambiance is laid back. - pints are $5 - $7, flights are 7.50 - they sell bottled craft beer. may be the way to go if you're looking for a deal instead of pricey pints
Went on a weekday and even after 5pm this place was pretty empty.
Went in for the first time to get some to go beers. Found one of my favourites that are hard to find in our area. Place was clean but had a very strong odor of beer that was not to pleasing. I will check it out again on another day.
Doesn’t serve food. Bring your own food. The beers are nice and is a good place to hang out for a bit. They could do with a slightly better decor. I don’t mean fancy but the chairs wobble and I wondered if I’m already drunk haha
Small little pub with unique beers. No sour beers. Some games to play. To say they have food is a stretch I only seen bags of chips
Some bottle/can selection! And tastes! Not all taps running until college is back in full swing probably. Chips only food for sale , suggest bringing your own if desired.
I'm not sure what it was like before the pandemic but of the five ( I think) fridges they had only 2 had anything to sell and they weren't fully shocked. The bartender was really friendly and knowledgeable about the beer that was on tap. It's a nice little place but I hope it has more options when it recovers better.
Expensive. 8$ for glass of beer!? Craft beer selection is about 8 and moat of the beers are high in hops or alcohol or both ... Strauss was good. The other hops beer was also OK. The place allows people to buy / bring food from outside and drink and eat inside, which I felt was good and nice to have. Only food items available inside the house are potato chips. Overall, an OK place to hangout. Good crowd on weekends. Open till 2 am on weekends, else till 12 am.
The good: They have a huge selection of beers. The staff is pleasant and seems to enjoy working there very much . The bad? The music is too dang loud. Tone it down! You gotta shout to be heard by someone sitting next to you. Earplugs are recommended.
We went here on Father's day. There were very few people in the brewery and their selections were too few - as seen in the photo. There were a couple of tables for inside seating while the others were covered. I guess it's because of COVID. We sat in the adjacent seating lot and tried a lot of stuff here - Reeses Buttercups Stout, Four Peaks Hazy IPA, Pootie Tang Cider, Marshmello Milk Stout and Golden Road Bloomin Blonde. All beers were just okay. Food was from Sikka Tikka Tacos who set their shop here once a month. This was decent as well.
This is a nice spot for craft beer and only a stone's throw from Ohlone College. The day we came in, their keg fridges were broken so only a few cold beers were available on draft. The bartender was awesome and they have a selection of canned beer.
Good place if you like craft beers and IPAs. I’m not a fan of those but I did find some beers that I like. They rotate kegs out so always something new. They also have bottles and canned beer too. Overall chill place to grab a beer. Price range for beer about $$.
Great atmosphere! Bartender was helpful and friendly. Loved their Bucha beer. It is absolutely amazing, tastes like juice.

Came here for the outdoor seating, which one review mentioned this place having. It does not. Good selection of local beers. Currently one of only two patrons - I hope it stays open.
There is no food here, only wine and beer with good selection of both. This place is perfect if you want to throw a small party (35 people) and don't want to pay for drinks. You can bring your own food but purchase drinks at the establishment. Good for you (save money and cleaning effort) and good for the owner (people will purchase drinks)

Went there tonight for the first time. Nice vibe, corkage fee way to high ($3 for a 22 oz bottle) on top of more expensive prices than elsewhere. Examples 14.99 for a sixer of Sculpin IPA, same price for Sculpin grapefruit. You can get regular Sculpin for $10 a six at most places. The 22 oz bottles are on average $2-3 more than elsewhere. Also regular pours are in a goblet and not in a pint glass. You can bring in food or have it delivered. Place gets quite noisy at times. Overall a nice place to have a few drinks.
Nowhere near the number of beers listed available, but a decent selection of beer on tap nonetheless. Prices are a bit high, averaging seven to eight per pint. It's only slightly more than I expected, considering the location. If there was a food menu, I never saw it, wasn't offered one. Friendly staff, perhaps even too casual, as one young woman actually put her nose into my glad of beer to find out what I was drinking. Bizarre. Next time, simply ask.
Small local beer spot with no food (except chips) but you can bring in your own food. They have a variety of beers for sale to go as well. About 12 beers on tap ranging from $7-10 per pint. It got pretty full on Saturday night after ten but barely anyone before that. Very local and not that exciting of an area. They really should get surround sound for music and a door to the outdoor area otherwise no one uses it. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to come here but it's a nice addition to boring Fremont!

I wasn't crazy about this place. Mostly because when I asked if they had a beer menu the bartender pointed at the chalk board...ummm...ok, but I seen like 3 or 4 refrigerators filled with different types of beers. Also, if you're going to be a "craft beer" establishment then maybe you should have the beer list with the description of the beer and the IBUs and ABV listed as well. Just my two cents.
Been here a few times. I feel it has suffered a hit in service as well as its choices for beers. Went in yesterday at opening time. Tables were unclean. We requested the bar tender to clean and the best he could do was give us a towel and cleaning spray🙄. I do expect a little better service, especially when there is nobody else there except our group of 6 people. Their tables are shaky and the place doesn’t offer much in terms of ambience.
Saturday 12:30pm - this place is closed and appears deserted. You can even rent the facility if you like! 😁 (See photo)
