Opinions de Red Hot Chilli Pepper Fremont
The food was really good. We tried the fried rice, noodles, and a few starters, and everything tasted delicious. The flavors were well balanced, the dishes were fresh and nicely prepared, and the portion sizes were satisfying. Overall, we had a great experience with the food and truly enjoyed the meal.
It’s always a great experience here! We absolutely love the Indo-Chinese dishes, especially the Chicken Chilly- it’s packed with flavor and perfectly cooked every time. And don’t leave without trying the Fried Ice Cream… it’s hands down the best. Highly recommend!
It’s the best info-Chinese spots in town. The manchow soup was crispy and tasty, and the gobi manchurian was very flavourful. Can’t wait to come back and try the other dishes. The portions are very healthy so come with a large group to try many items :)
Me and my family went to this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was out of the charts. The spice was just perfect for everyone and we all enjoyed. One of the best restaurants that we have ate at.
Red Hot Chilli Pepper in Pacific Commons, Fremont, is hands-down one of the best Indo-Chinese spots around! The food is absolutely 🔥 – bold super fresh ingredients, and perfectly executed dishes like crispy chili potatoes, mouthwatering veggie Manchurian, and those addictive noodles and fried rice. Everything hits just the right level of spice and crunch. What really makes this place shine, though, is the incredible service. The entire waiting staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming – they keep things moving smoothly, check in just the right amount, and make you feel right at home. Special shoutout to Joe Carvalho – you are a legend! Joe was phenomenal with my kid, super patient, kind, and engaging. He chatted with my little one, made fun recommendations, brought extra smiles, and turned what could’ve been a regular dinner into a truly memorable family experience. My child was so happy, and that made the whole night perfect for us too. Joe, thank you for your amazing energy and care! If you’re in Fremont and craving delicious, family-friendly Indo-Chinese, this is the spot. We’re already planning our next visit. Highly recommend – 5 stars all the way! 🌶️❤️
The ambience is very inviting and comfortable. We were seated very promptly and the wait staff was extremely attentive. We were a party of six and had various orders and requests and the staff was very accommodating. Overall, our experience was extremely pleasant and we shall be sure to return very soon. Thank you Red Hot Chilli Pepper for making our evening memorable.
This place has all the options you could ask for—from great appetizers and filling meals to sweet deserts. This restaurant has a base menu and a rotating menu, both of which are worthy of trying. The dumplings and fried ice cream are can't miss. There is nothing you can go wrong with here.
We ordered fried rice and hakka noodles eith veg coin manchurian. The food was quite tasty and the ambiance was also very aesthetic. I would highly recommend to try it. Please makes sure to reserve the table on weekends as it is booked most of the time. I would also recommend to try their fried ice-cream. The servers and management was good and provided great service and experience.
We visited Red Hot Chilli Pepper in Fremont for lunch on a Sunday, and it was such a memorable outing. The restaurant had a calm, relaxed vibe—not too crowded—which made for a comfortable family meal. The food hit the mark across the board. We loved the Chicken Pan-Fried Noodles and Stir-Fried Tofu, both packed with bold Indo-Chinese flavors. The Vegetarian Spring Rolls were crispy and fresh, and the Fresh Masala Lime Soda added a cool, tangy note to round out the meal. A special highlight was the robots delivering our food to the table—our kids were absolutely thrilled! It added a playful, futuristic twist to the experience and definitely made it extra fun for the whole family. Friendly service, tasty food, and a little bit of robot magic—definitely worth visiting again.
The food is amazing, particularly for those who enjoy Chinese cuisine. The combination of oil and dry chilies gives each dish a delightful aroma and a distinctive flavor. I am confident that anyone who appreciates Chinese flavors will enjoy it. The unique Indian ingredients, such as cottage cheese and fried ice cream, are definitely worth trying. Additionally, I enjoyed all the drinks, particularly the cocktails. Each order my friends made was exceptional.
This is the place to go if you're craving for the weird cuisine called Indo-Chinese! It was cooked up in India by Chinese migrants by adapting Chinese cuisine to Indian tastes. We loved the eggplant appetizer! Place is usually packed (with Indians)! 😂
The quality is similar to a regular Indian spot. Definitely a little on the expensive side for the taste of the food they're serving. If you go to any other Italian or Mexican spot for the similar for headcast, you get much better quality and tasting food. Bay area really needs good Indo Chinese spot focusing on food
I’ve always wanted to try Red Hot Chilli Pepper, but I might have overestimated this restaurant. The ambience and service is great since they had decorated their restaurant with Christmas decor. However, the food was not bad but overpriced, we had the chilli chicken and it was pretty spicy, so I recommend either ordering a mild level of spice or a sweet drink on the side, like a vanilla milkshake. The food was very heavy so it made a great dinner but it was alright overall. We also had some noodles which were honestly very oily but flavorful!
Amongst other dishes we ordered (1) Paneer with hot garlic sauce and (2) Indian Summer in signature cocktails. Both disappointed me, Indian Summer was too sugary/sweet which over powered the Rum, it was something more of a fruit juice rather than cocktail. Paneer with hot garlic sauce was too bland the much needed garlic punch was missing.
We recently visited Red Hot Chili Peppers in Fremont and had a fantastic experience. The location is great, with plenty of parking and a relaxed, uncrowded atmosphere. The food was delicious, especially the main course, which was perfectly spiced to our preference. While the appetizers were good, they were a bit on the saucy side. We enjoyed their selection of cocktails and mocktails as well. We celebrated a birthday, and the service was excellent, making the experience even more memorable. Highly recommend for a wonderful dining experience!
We were here for a birthday dinner and had made a reservation ahead. The staff is very nice and friendly. We were seated and given enough time to decide on our orders. We ordered drinks, cocktails and soda. We ordered appetizers and main courses. We enjoyed the food, though it felt a little salty. We didn't go for any dessert as we had planned cake cutting at home. Overall, the service is great but the food made us bloated and hence I am not sure if I will go back here. I hope the feedback is taken and they could improve on their food. Otherwise, the ambience is good and the staff is very helpful and courteous and helpful.
We ordered the sizzling chicken, chili garlic noodles, and vegetables in Schezwan sauce. The noodles were overly oily, the sauce was on the sweeter side, and the chicken tasted quite average. Since it was an Indo-Chinese affair, we were expecting better quality and more finesse in the flavors.
.The food is fine and decently flavored, but ultimately not memorable. What really hurts the experience is the pricing. Small portions priced above $20 are hard to justify and feel excessive for Indo-Chinese cuisine, which is largely street-style food in India. Our bill came to over $200 for five people despite ordering fairly basic items like noodles and fried rice. I wouldn’t recommend it.
Saw this resturaunt when I finished shopping, and decided to give it a try. Service was amazing, but the food.... not so much. I got the egg wrapped fried rice, and my friend got the pan fried noodles. We shared the veg spring rolls for an appetizer. Veg spring rolls were extremely small for 15 dollars (2 rolls cut in half). Egg wrapped fried rice is super dry, no flavor, and the chicken was stringy. The pan fried noodles had chunks of ginger and it was unpleasant to get a burst of that flavor once in a while. Although there are sides of chili and vinegar, I'd assume the food would have at least a hint of spice by itself.
The prices are very high. We barely had soup, 2 appetizers, Hakka noodles, a drink and soda. It came to be more than 100$ The portions are small as well. Man chow soup was terrible and cold. Fire cracker chicken - good but we barely got 5 small pieces of chicken. Chill garlic chicken momo- not good. It was a blob of chicken they fried and put some sauce over it. Hakka noodles - bland as anything. And cold.
I visited Red Hot Chili Pepper in Fremont based on Google reviews, but my experience didn’t match the hype. The atmosphere is fine, but the taste was exaggerated in the reviews—I personally didn’t enjoy the flavor. Portions are small despite the menu claiming “family size,” which felt more like a gimmick since the platter isn’t deep and the food quantity is limited. Prices are high for what you get. On the plus side, the food is halal, though the place does have a bar. Overall, I’d rate it as average with high prices and small portions. I won’t be recommending - it’ll be a one time thing if I were to stay here
Highly disappointed with the food taste and quality here. Watered down soup and soggy noodles. San carlos location is way better in terms of food taste, quality and ambience and probably deserves the menu price but definitely ridiculous for this Fremont location. Save your money and look elsewhere.
I visited Red Hot Chilli Restaurant (Fremont) based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. The service was casual and unprofessional from the start. The server did not seem to take his role seriously while taking our order and repeatedly addressed us with “boss… what else… what else,” which in itself was tolerable, but it reflected a lack of basic service etiquette. We ordered Gobi Manchurian as a starter, which arrived with a burnt taste and was not served hot. While I initially gave the benefit of the doubt, the issues continued with the main course. For the main dishes, we ordered Hakka Noodles, Schezwan Fried Rice, and Coin Veg Manchurian. The fried rice was served completely cold. When I raised this, the server said he would replace it, but what came back was clearly the same dish reheated, which made the taste even worse. I have never experienced a restaurant serving reheated food instead of freshly prepared food. When questioned, the server was not apologetic and casually mentioned that it was reheated “in the fryer, not the microwave,” which completely misses the point. When we dine out—especially at an expensive restaurant—we expect fresh food, good service, and a pleasant dining experience, not reheated leftovers. The overall behavior of the server and the lack of accountability made the experience even worse. Bottom line: I would strongly not recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a quality meal or a good family dining experience.
We order from this place multiple times before, but in recent times it’s a pattern of disappointment. The schezwan fried rice is bland with absolutely no spice. The paneer is schzwan sauce is almost sweet at this point. The gobi Manchurian had more oil than flavor. The sweet corn soup had no salt, I literally had to add it from home! Yes the taste used to be really good, but the quality is consistently going down. I doubt we’ll ever order from here again!
My experience at Red Hot Chili Pepper in Fremont was not as expected . The baby corn chili was not fresh and no taste or flavor, and the fried rice tasted like stir-fried rice with sauce, no taste at all. Needs to reserve before going there. It’s very expensive for the quality of food they are providing. Noodles were stirred in some sauce not even up to the mark. Fried rice was bland, we didn’t even able to eat few spoons, when we said it’s not good, they offered us a dessert in kind of compensation, for which we said no. Without eating anything we paid 90$ which was way expensive. I’ll never recommend this place.
