We came in and were greeted with a smile. Got seated in less then 10 minutes it was busy. The server was personable and even the manager came out and checked to make sure we were having a good time. We weren't sure how to use the ziosk to pay and our server walked us through it step by step. We will definitely make it a regular stop for us when we are on this side of town. Thank you

The chicken wings are to me, the best in Fresno. My friend had an “ impossible burger” that to me as a non vegetarian didn’t sound appetizing. Me and the fam came here close to closing time and it didn’t matter to our server she was on her game, brung our drinks really quick and when the food was brought out it was piping hot, I had the loaded chicken fajitas and some blended shark margarita lol it had shark gummies in it hahaha man it tasted so good! My family had burgers I forget what kind but everyone was pleased and full when we left, I wish I remembered our server name so I could shout her out but sadly I don’t but because of her we will definitely be back

We ate at the restaurant, but we took our dessert home and to our surprise when opened it to eat, they were overcooked and hard as a rock. Extremely disappointed. 11/4/25 Updated review. After Applebee’s reached out to me, they offered a replacement dessert. My husband picked it up last night and it was perfect. The buns were soft and tasty as I had envisioned them originally. Everything was perfect except the hostess who had to seat me. She lied to me directly about having available booth seats and offered me a 6 person table. I declined and decided to sit at the bar but once I noticed other customers coming in an getting seated at booth seats, I brought the issue up to the lady bartender. The food we ordered was delivered by Doordash. We chose the bourbon chicken and grilled shrimp. The chicken and shrimp were tender and flavorful. It came with mashed potatoes, which were good, but we would have preferred a healthier steamed vegetable option. It would have been a better experience to have had side dish options to choose from, but there were no options. We also ordered the onion rings, which were definitely not healthy, bit quite delicious.

There was no problem with our server. He was good. Apparently, they only have a certain section of the restaurant that gets happy hour pricing. Other than that the food was ok. There was a water issue so they closed early.

Food was overall pretty good! It was my first time going to Applebees in awhile. As my friends and I sat down, the hostess was very rude & referred to us as “the group in the corner” while having an attitude. This attitude continued up until she needed us to give up a booth for a family, in which we did because it was understandable. After we got seated, the waitress informed us of a call out and knowing this information my friends and I stayed pretty kind and easygoing. We did not rush her, we did not ask for anything extra, and we ordered right away to ease her of the frustration and anxiety of being the one waitress for the floor. However, it was my birthday and my friends mentioned it to her. The response we got was nothing less than shocking. When told it was my birthday, she responded by saying “ok?” & when my friend asked if we could celebrate she responded by saying “if I have time”. Never have I encountered such an experience at any restaurant, especially when my friends and I were kind and patient for her.

Right when we walked in there was not a staff member in sight. Nobody at all was out. They eventually all came out from the back. We were told it was a 10 min wait but seats were open mostly everywhere. We got a sticky table & only 1 menu there was 2 of us. The food was good overall.

Arrived at 6 with a party of 4 we were seated 15 mins later. We offered our chairs to a couple that somehow Celeste knew and when my fiancé told Celeste : “ if you give us our tab they can sit here”. She then gave us boxes and acknowledged us. If I’m correct your tables aren’t just your tables . If I’m correct it’s everyone’s table. The managers were doing so great helping all the employees. I didn’t appreciate to not be acknowledged after closing tabs and reopening a tab. We waited 15-20 minutes to get acknologed and the whole time Celeste was clocked in making drinks she made sure everyone but us at the bar was well token cared of. I understand it’s busy but at least say:” we’ll be with you shortly” .

Food: Crispy Wonton Chicken Tacos were delicious! The entrée, Bourbon Street Chicken & Andouille Sausage, was really bad. It showed on the menu that the pasta was tossed in a creamy Cajun Alfredo sauce, but my plate was full of what looked and tasted like reheated pasta from the night before. There was no creamy sauce to be seen. The chicken in it was fine, but the Andouille sausage was chopped into tiny bits and looked as if a hot dog was chopped up in my dish. I don't recommend this dish at all. Service: No one on staff seemed to enjoy their jobs. And some advice for the server we had--treat everyone with warmth, kindness. Just because we were older than maybe your preferred demographic on a Saturday night doesn't mean we don't deserve great service. Your tip may have been 20%, but our server we had at the Yard House last night got a 40% tip because she went out of her way to be kind, friendly, welcoming and she made menu recommendations, where you couldn't even be bothered to bring out plates for our appetizers. We definitely won't be back to Applebee's again. Poor quality experience all-around.

My server was "nice/nasty." We had to insist on a bday celebration. He wasn't enthused about it, and no other employee participated. I didn't make a big deal about it. Biggest Embarrassment of a Pie. Not a Pie...not even a dessert. The Fish n Chips were good. Slaw the size of Tarter Sauce served. Same size little cup. We missed Easter so went the next week out to eat. Me and a friend. It was raining that day. It's been two years since we've been there and we remembered how good the Fish was. We'd go back for the Fish meal again but not anything else. They even served me water when I ordered a Root Beer and it wasn't because they were busy. It's like they didn't have enough servers. I didn't speak to a manager but talked to the server. I would have if I'd known the condition of the dessert. VERY BAD!!!

This was a $50 delivery. Burgers were extremely greasy. Cheese on the mushrooms burger not melted. The meat was raw on the cheese burger that I specifically asked to have NO pink. RAW, not mid rare. We chose to have dinner here at Applebees - Shaw & Marty location following my nieces graduation 6/10/25. Arriving at 10pm (2 hrs prior to closing) the hostess claimed they DO NOT TAKE PARTIES LARGER than 6!! She stated she can get her manager, but that is their policy. We were turned away. Where we went up the street To Buffalo wild wings on Shaw and Valentine where we received EXCELLENT SERVICE!! Now today, A friend sent me these pictures and video from 30 minutes ago inside Applebees ON SHAW AND MARTY. A party of AT LEAST 20+ people. Shame on you Applebees STAFF AND OWNERS for LYING! For ruining a special DAY of celebration for A HIGH SCHOOL GRAD. We did not make a fuss we just left. But to find out later that you LIED is inexcusable!

We usually have a wonderful experience but tonight was very unprofessional and unpleasant. I ordered food to go and waited ten minutes at carside before anyone helped me. I was then told my food was almost ready just a few mins and they would bring it outside to the stall I was parked in. I waited 10 minutes then went inside to check the waitress was holding my bag and just talking in the kitchen and laughing with another employee for a good 5 minutes before she realized I was standing there. I got to the car with my food and checked it and it wasn’t hot at all the spinach artichoke dip had no heat. I am very disappointed and will not be going back to this location I would rather travel to Clovis to get my order.

I was there for a work dinner a few weeks ago and they let my co-workers get so inebriated they should not have driven home. I left before they did, about an hour and a half earlier. Their drinks were not limited. Applebee's really needs to limit how much they let their customers drink to one drink. My co-workers could have killed themselves or somebody else. Went in with a party of 5 (family) for my daughter's birthday. I've never had complaints about the food but 3 out of 5 of us went home with stomach issues last night. We all had different platters, my 4 yr old son seemed to have it worst. He woke with stomach pains at 3am and proceeded to throw up for the rest of the morning with diarrhea. Myself and my daughter also had stomach cramps. Possibly food poisoning but not sure if it was from surface contact or my son's pizza and fries platter which we I picked at but not my daughter. Initially, we waited about 7 minutes to be seated in an fairly empty place with a handful of servers walking around and socializing. We were taken to our table by one of the ones who passed by a half dozen times while just looking at us with no comment. Albeit, the service we received was a 4 and she really improvef the service, although I can't remember her name. We've came here alot over the years but once I experience a foodborne illness issue, I make sure to shy away from those places. Please do your due diligence and make sure that food safety is a top priority for the sake of other guests.

Came in here to celebrate a bday and eat dinner asked the manager who was there tonight to sing happy birthday and she said she would and she got it.. waited and waited and she semmed to have forgotten or to stressed that night. Not coming back to this location. Specially when I specify to the manager if she can bring her team to at least sing it would have been nice dinner.

Went yesterday and ordered two hamburgers. Hubs asked for plain just cheese. We could tell the waitress didn't write it down right. 20 minutes later out appetizer and both plates come out at the same time. Hubs burger is tiny, cut in half and has two sticks in it. Waitress didn't notice she brought him a kids meal. It had lettuce on it too. Blonde manager has it remade but it also takes 15 minutes. Date night ruined and not one apology or a discount. If the employees can't handle two burgers there's dozens of people applying daily who can.

I had high hopes for Applebee's, but my recent visit left me extremely disappointed. From start to finish, the entire dining experience was lackluster, and I can confidently say that I will never be returning to this establishment. Firstly, the service was abysmal. It took forever for the server to acknowledge our presence, and even when she finally showed up, she seemed disinterested and rushed. It was challenging to get their attention when we needed something, and our orders were mixed up more than once. The food was equally disappointing. The menu boasted an array of dishes, but what arrived at our table barely resembled the appetizing pictures. The appetizers were lukewarm and tasted like they had been sitting out for a while. The entrees were no better – the steak I ordered was very undercooked and still bleeding while my friend's pasta dish was bland and underwhelming. To make matters worse, the overall ambiance was far from inviting. It seemed like cleanliness wasn't a top priority, as we noticed crumbs and stains on our table, and the restroom was far from presentable. In conclusion, my visit to Applebee's was a regrettable one. The lack of attentive service, subpar food, and overall unappealing atmosphere make this restaurant one to avoid. Save your money and find a more worthy dining establishment – This Applebee's certainly did not live up to the hype.

We were given a table quickly, but it took them almost 30 minutes to take our order when they hardly had any customers. Then it took over 30 minutes to bring our food.. 2 steak meals and 5 kids' meals. My 8oz steak looks more like 4 oz.. and it took over 30 minutes. The server didn't even come back after delivering food. Never going back

Had me wait for 10 plus minutes when it wasn’t even packed, again had to wait 20 plus minutes for my food, the plate was hotter than my food by the way, will not be coming back here again

Just based on tonight everything was trash, the hostess was dry, we weren’t even acknowledged after being seated, end up walking out

We had not been to an Applebee's in almost 2 years. We were shocked by our entire experience. We arrived to an almost empty restaurant. The usual Friday evening crowd we remembered from years back was not there. We got seated immediately and waited several minutes for our waitress. When she didn't show up, we were told by the hostess "your waitress is in the bathroom, can I take your drink order?" We were served our drinks and waited another 10 minutes for our waitress to come to take our order. The food she brought out 20 minutes after that was not worth the wait. We ordered mozzarella sticks as our appetizer. They were clearly originally frozen because they tasted of freezer burn and were barely warmed through, think ZERO cheese pull. Our entrees were both chicken parmesan with fettucine. The fettucine was stone cold, and the sauce had congealed onto it. It was also overcooked and mushy. My partners piece of chicken was as big as his plate. My piece was about 1/3 the size of his. Both pieces were flavorless. There was no salt in the chicken meat itself nor was there any salt in the batter or the marinara sauce on top. Even the breadsticks served with our meal were stale and unflavored. We waited approximately 35 minutes from our time of arrival to finally get to eat our entrees, and the food was so below par, we didn't even eat it. We took a few bites and then just paid our check and left the food there. Applebees used to be a crowded place on a Friday evening. The food used to be hot, fresh, and good. The atmosphere used to be warm, welcoming, and inviting. This Applebees has fallen so short. The owners and management should be worried how much longer they can keep those doors open.

2 for $25 came out to $50 just to receive burnt burger. Atleast my appetizer was edible.

Showed up and asked to wait for 10mins. The restaurant was nearly empty at 300pm. Plenty of staff around. Waited minimum for 25 minutes with nobody in the restaurant. Waiting area was full so we had to stand in the middle of the restaurant waiting to be seated while surrounded by empty tables. Sat for 10 plus minutes before getting a water. Waited 15 to order food after. Food was decent but no amazing by any means. Waiter asked how the food was after the entire meal was done but no checking in during meal. Water sat empty. First and last experience with applebees. Needless to say I didn’t leave a tip and won’t return to any applebees in this life. Priced high for how lackluster the experience was

Don’t order the new chicken Parmesan. I have food poisoning from it. My friend and I went to eat and haven’t been feeling good after about an hour that we had left the restaurant. It didn’t have no taste and the marinara sauce looked a bit old which we scraped off but the chicken also not tasty
