A Taste of Yemen in Every Sip: Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co. Delivers Bold Flavor and Warm Hospitality If you’re looking to elevate your coffee experience beyond the ordinary, Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co. is a must-visit. This standout café seamlessly blends the deep-rooted traditions of Yemeni coffee culture with a welcoming, modern atmosphere. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the rich aroma of cardamom, ginger, cinnamon, and freshly brewed qishr — a spiced coffee drink made from coffee husks, deeply embedded in Yemeni heritage. The menu offers a refreshing departure from standard coffeehouse fare. The Mofawar, a creamy, lightly sweetened coffee spiced to perfection, is a favorite for first-timers and connoisseurs alike. For something even more traditional, try the Jubani — strong, earthy, and full-bodied, served the way it’s been enjoyed in Yemen for centuries. Pair any drink with a slice of their house-made bint al-sahn (a honeyed Yemeni pastry), and you’re in for a cultural journey that’s as delicious as it is unique. Service at Qamaria is warm and intentional. The baristas are knowledgeable, friendly, and more than happy to explain the origins of the drinks or walk you through their brewing process. Whether you’re studying, catching up with friends, or simply looking for a quiet escape, the serene décor and soft Arabic music in the background make it a perfect spot. Qamaria isn’t just a coffee shop — it’s a celebration of Yemeni hospitality, flavor, and resilience. In a crowded field of cafés, it stands out not just for its incredible coffee, but for the cultural richness it brings to the community. Highly recommended for anyone ready to explore coffee on a deeper, more meaningful level. Five stars.
Very nice place with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food and drinks were absolutely amazing, but the highlight of the visit was meeting the lovely owners, Moeen and his son Nagi. They’re truly awesome people , kind, genuine, and full of positive energy. This spot is definitely going to be one of my favorites in the area
Great service and refreshers are perfect especially for these hot days! Coffee is amazing, I recommend Pistachio Latte and the Caramel Macchiato is delicious definitely my favorite coffee on the menu by far. Pastries are yummy and savory ones are SO GOOD! Comfy and Cozy environment as well ❤️
Absolutely love this place! The coffee is rich, flavorful, and unlike anything else in Fresno. You can really taste the quality in every cup. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. I highly recommend trying the iced Qamaria coffee or pistachio latte, they’re both amazing. Also, do not skip the Kanafa cheesecake. It is unique, creamy, and the perfect sweet touch. Beautiful atmosphere, great service, and truly something different. Highly recommend!
Customer service was excellent 👌 The guy behind the counter was knowledgeable and helped me choose the right coffee. I got the Qamaria and pistachio latte. He did warn me that the pistachio was on the sweeter side, so I asked for it to be made half sweet. I was pleased that you could taste the coffee in both drinks. The saffron milk cake was good. I've never tasted saffron, so im not sure what it's supposed to taste like. To me, it just tasted like vanilla. The pistachio kunafa cheesecake was a unfortunately a disappointment, especially at $11 for a small slice.
Found this secret gem on our way back to the airport after a 14d roadtrip. Hand made food with exceptional quality and taste. Great beverages unique ☕️ See y next time friends Love Nikolas Greece PS RESPECT for the honeycomb from a pastry cook - you ever find yourself to Crete will happily offer you a “Mizithropita” which is really close to this taste!
Absolutely delicious pistachio latte and honeycomb pastry. Staff were so helpful and kind. This is such a relaxing place to sit in, sip on a hot mug of coffee, and just unwind. Well worth the drive!
This place is so good, I wish I had came here sooner! I had the Adeni Chai in the Kettle serving and the Honeycomb pastry. Everything came out excellent & fresh. The atmosphere was lovely too. Quiet and relaxing even when people are here. I’m certainly coming back to try more. 🫶🏼
The coffee was really tasty, limited selections but very strong. The cheesecake and milk cake was also good. I drank the pistachio latte, didn’t have a strong pistachio taste I was hoping for but it was good, not bitter at all.
We tried this while on a road trip through the area and we were VERY impressed with the flavors. We had both hot and cold Qamari Lattes and the cardamom flavor was amazing. These were perfectly flavored coffees, very rich and tasty. We also had the Saffron Tres Leches which was sooo good! The staff was super nice too and had great answers for some questions we had about the menu items.
My goodness this was a treat. Their cakes were so moist and delicious. Coffee was amazing. We came from Oregon and family had to bring us here. That says a lot.
They have outdoor seating for pets and family. They offered (unprompted) "pup cup" to our pup, it was sweet of them! We tried zaatar (+ cheese) pie, it was very tasty. We also tried their iced Qamaria latte (highly recommend, very flavorful) and Juban coffee, no sugar (again, very flavorful). Loved the modern atmosphere, they have cute traditionally decorated "grotto" seating inside, too. Highly recommend!
New Coffeeshop in town with great coffee, delicious pastries and friendly staff. It was our first time here and the staff helped us with recommendations. We go the iced Qamaria latte. I typically like my drinks lightly sweetened. I asked light sugar and they were able to make a perfect drink for me. Their pastries were tasty and flavorful. Their croissant was flakey.
The place was super clean. Atmosphere is beautiful. The desserts and coffees were a 10/10! Employees were very sweet and helpful for our first time. We loved! It was a distance but overall worth it!
I absolutely loved this coffee shop! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for catching up with friends or just enjoying some quiet time. The coffee was rich and flavorful, and they had great options for pastries/snacks too. The staff made the whole experience even better with their kindness and attention. Can’t wait to come back!
Absolutely must try y'all! Finally tried it myself and I'm hooked...new favorite place... I'll be back very soon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Update: I'm here every week...the cheesecakes are amazing because they are not super sweet...all the employees are so nice...we love it here 🫶
This review is based off of the ICED PISTACHIO LATTE. I heard so much about this drink and the hype was crazy, so I decided to give it a try. The hype is real! It was delicious! The pistachio sauce they use is fantastic, but so was the espresso they use. It is crazy expensive $8.25 for one drink, but I didn't regret the purchase. It was good enough to where it didn't hurt as much to spend that much money for one 16oz drink which means it was worth it lol. I did get the drink HALF SWEETENED because I don't enjoy drinks that are too sweet. It was a bit sweet but in a good way. Highly recommend that drink, great service and atmosphere! Iced Pistachio Latte - 9.5/10
Great place for Coffee! Delicious taste! Recommend for coffee drinkers to try! Customer service was excellent!
Love the coffee and the atmosphere! We got two different drinks and honeycomb to share. It was all delicious. Would definitely recommend. Their signature beverage the Quamaria Latte was our favorite, but you really can't go wrong. They just opened a drive thru also. Staff is great. Will definitely be coming here often!
Was scrolling Uber for something different and came across this place. We tried the Qamaria Latte, the Mocha, Honey Comb, and Tres leches. All delicious, a nice change up from the norm.
First time trying this place with my wife. I've gotta say this little spot gives off a warm atmosphere. Staff was kind and answered our questions and gave they're own suggestions. I decided to try the Iced Qamaria Latte while my wife tried the Iced Pistachio Latte. We shared a Kunafa cheesecake and a Lotus cheesecake. AMAZING!!! All of it. The notes in the coffees and flavors of the cheesecakes were on point. Will be coming here again for sure!
Tried Qamaria Coffee for the first time and I’m officially obsessed! The vibes were so peaceful and the decor? GORGEOUS. That tray alone deserves its own photoshoot, okay?! 😍 I ordered the pistachio latte and wow… SO GOOD. Creamy, nutty, sweet, just the way I like it. My boyfriend got the Qamaria drink their signature coffee, and let’s be real, I kept stealing sips. Now let’s talk desserts… that Oreo cheesecake and the Lotus slice?? 10/10 recommend. Creamy, flavorful, and not overly sweet. Just chef’s kiss. But what really stood out was the service. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The owner and staff even came by to check on us and make sure we were enjoying everything. You can tell they really care about the experience. Perfect coffee date spot, cute, calm, and cozy. Definitely coming back!
Went to Qamaria Yemeni Coffee in Fresno (off CA-99 & Herndon) with my family after church—what a great spot. My wife had the Mufawaar (amazing), and I got the Qamaria Latte—next time I’ll ask for it hotter, but the flavor was excellent. Our kids were bummed they were out of the Pistachio and Salted Caramel Frappes, but they got the Mango Smoothie and were still happy. The desserts were the highlight. We tried the Honeycomb (so good—perfect dough and cheese, my wife loved it), the Pistachio Milk Cake (light, not too sweet, super refreshing), and the Lotus Cheesecake, which was also excellent. Place is very clean, super comfortable, and the people working there were kind and helpful. Looking forward to going back soon.

Perfect spot to stop in for a sweet snacky snack and a refreshing drink! The Mango cheesecake was sooo good and is my new favorite. Do I dare say better than the other cheesecake restaurants cheesecake 🤔 🫣 Yes!! It was THAT good. Bold, I know. But you'll have to try it yourself.

I love it first mocha was mad in yaman but also you should try the coffee there its truly taste but also the price is a little high they need to slow down a little , I understand people think more expensive more better but again when you look at the ingredients you find water+ tea + milk . I hope next time I go c there the price a little lower because Starbucks didnt have the courage to go that hight. Anyway sweet is good and tea is good but for the price I would drink it once a month. I hope you are not targeting only rich people .
☕✨ Qamaria Fresno Review Stopped by Qamaria in Fresno and they treated me really well — super warm hospitality from the moment I walked in. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. The drinks were on point. Smooth, rich, and full of flavor. The Yemeni coffee hits different, and everything tasted fresh and high-quality. The shop has a calm, cozy vibe too, perfect spot to chill, work, or meet up with friends. Definitely one of my favorite Fresno coffee spots. 🙌🔥

Cute place. Ordered the pistachio latte and I can taste the coffee flavor with the pistachio. It has a good coffee balance with flavor and milk. The honey comb bread was a little on the drier side which was disappointing. The cheese cake was ok. The dragon fruit tea was good.
This was my first time here , the staff was pretty friendly. However it took a long time to get our drinks and pastries. The quamaria latte was delicious, I would highly recommend this latte . The honey comb was so so , I’ve had better at another location in town . The eggs pastries was good . Would I visit this place again sure but because of the equals drive time to the other Turkish coffee shop I’d probably go to the other
Decided to try this newer coffee shop which was a very nice alternative to Starbucks! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I had the strawberry dragon fruit refresher and it was delicious! They served it in a glass mason jar which was nice; better than a plastic cup. They serve several different types of drinks. I haven't tried their coffee yet, but I am excited to try it soon as I'll be going back. Prices seem similar to Starbucks. They even gave a person in our group a small desert for taking longer to get their drink ready which was very cool (may not happen every time though). They give the guest a pager to let them know when their order is ready. Drive-thru available.
Woah! Im loving this style of coffee house. Just a change of pace from. Your traditional coffee place. Almost like a breathe of fresh air. The works were nice and very informing since it was our first time here. The lemonade was really expensive though. But we ordered the "Ice Qamaria Latte" $7.50 ~ after taxes $8.13 For different type of drink it was a must try. And I have to say it is very strong similar to a vietnamese coffee. Almost like a pumpkin spice latte but different. Not bad. OVERALL, if we are on this side of town again we would come here again.

Good coffee and unique flavor that separates itself from others. It is a Yemeni coffeehouse. We learn that coffee originated. I came with my wife on Christmas Day in hopes to find some different, it was different. I ordered the Sana’a coffee in a kettle. I also ordered the Biscoff Cinnamon Bun and Pide with the egg. The coffee was smooth and full of different herbs as described. It took me a few sips to get used to the flavor but it was good. My wife loved it. We did have to add some cream and sugar to it to make it sweeter. The Pide was savory. It had a nice cheese spread to go on top before the egg was put on top. I wish the egg was more runny though. It was hard boiled yolk. The Biscoff Cinnamon was very dry but when you dip it in the coffee it rehydrated it and made it more desirable. The price of my order was $36 see the pic of my order. To me that’s pricey. I may be back to try a different coffee, if I am in the area. Lastly, I felt very awkward sitting here enjoying my food as my wife and I were being stared at by all the customers. Maybe I’ve been a fish out of water before but the way that people stared certainly made us feel very uncomfortable to say the least.

Came for the first time, drove from across town to give them a shot. Got a hot pistachio latte and a cheesecake slide. Both were very tasty, delicious I would say. Only reason I am leaving a 3 star review is because just like all the other negative reviews, I too got the same treatment from the girl at the counter. The customer service is lacking all around in my opinion. No one greets you when you come in which is fine no big deal, but no one even acknowledged me as I was at the counter for a moment.. I went to look at the pastries and more than once I stood ready and the girl wouldn’t even ask if I was ready or if I needed help or nothing just a blank stare and then would get back to whatever she was doing behind the counter. It felt awkward, being my first time here, I would say this was an awkward interaction with the cashier. It actually made me feel outta place to be completely honest. They don’t smile or nothing just didn’t make me feel welcome. I’m not sure that I will be back, also being they just have one location in town it’s all across town for me. Food/drink was great no complaints there. I do want to acknowledge that the gentleman who served me my food was very friendly and very polite.

The girl behind the counter honestly just ruined the experience for me. I drove 25 minutes across town, decided against my favorite coffee spots to give this place a try. She looked like she didn’t want to be there let alone take our order. Can you at least say “Hi” or “thank you it’ll be right out”. It might just be me but if I’m spending $20 on a coffee and pastry, I at least want a friendly encounter at the register. If I wasn’t with a friend I would’ve just walked out and found a place that didn’t make me feel like an inconvenience. Biscoff cake was 10/10 though!
Warning!!!! 2 medium iced coffee drinks and a 1 pastry $29.29!!!? Nope never going here again. Thats more than Starbucks. AND it took 27 minutes! I’ll add another star for the quick response, however it took much longer than 13 minutes. Was I the only Chris ever in the store that day? How would you know who when and where? You’re tracking your customers??!! Thats a bit creepy. One other thing, you never even addressed the price. I did tip, but it was still well over $20 and I probably shouldn’t have. I don’t need to discuss anything further. I just probably wont be coming back. First impressions are a lasting impression. However the drink was tasty just really overpriced.
