Today we visited Country Waffles on Shaw and had an absolutely wonderful experience. We ordered the Oreo shake, vanilla shake, chocolate and strawberry waffles, and fries — everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Special thanks and full credit to Robert at the front desk and Pinky, our server. Both were exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Since much of the menu is non-vegetarian, they took extra time to guide us through the options and helped us find the perfect vegetarian dishes. Their professionalism and warmth made our visit truly memorable. The food was great, but the service made it outstanding. Thank you, Robert and Pinky, for your kindness and for making our dining experience so pleasant. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Fresno — Country Waffles is a must-try!

Food was bomb but we found a hair in the potatoes we asked for the manager and she told us it wasn't a hair like we were stupid. And persisted to tell us how it was the cheese. I feel like she could have handled it a different way. She was lightweight arguing with us. I told her we weren't paying for the potatoes but In the end , she said it was her bad and walked off Service was wonderful from the waiter & waitress but the lady manager was a different story i feel like she could have offered instead of me telling her that we weren't paying for a potatoes with a hair in it she wasn't trying to accommodate us in any way.

Comfortable small bench for 4 per table. Large dining area also. Feal very good and friendly about staff, staff knows my order already before I sit down. I am special needs customer and always a welcome smile. The food is good and always feel I have eaten enough.

Yum! We were driving by and saw Country Waffles! Yum everything was awesome. We got the single waffle. Nothing on it except butter. Eggs Benedict with the sauce on the side with potatoes. All very delicious. The coffee was hot and fresh. Refilled often. I love they have sugar on the table. And French vanilla creamer. We can't wait to come back We highly recommend this awesome place and the awesome people that work there.

We had a great breakfast and wonderful time. The food is excellent and so is the service. Special thanks to Jean our server. She's a very nice lady, she even took our picture.

My visit here was because I got a Too Good To Go order. It’s an app. But what I got was the shrimp basket and in it contained crinkle cut fries. The shrimp was cook right and the fries were cook just right. I also ordered the French Dip sandwich which was served between a buttery Texas Toast. I thought this was very good. It came with the right ratio of roast beef too. I think maybe some cheese would make this sandwich pop. I think this place may be worth another visit.

Never knew that this place existed until my gf was craving for a waffle. I'm not much of a waffle person, but I got said after I tried a bit, I ordered myself one too. The food is good too and the environment is very nice and peaceful. It's definitely a good place to enjoy a beautiful morning.

Overall service was average, one problem was when we ordered the chicken and waffles and we didn't specify the special they had that day which was $10 less, I believe the waitress should verified with us if we wanted the special, we did not know they had two different plates. Also I wanted mashed potatoes/gravy, which they did not have? Unusual for a restaurant with country as the name

I ordered from here on doordash, and either they just don't care about their delivery service, or someone was having a bad day. I originally ordered the Oatmeal kids meal, but they messaged me to let me know they were out, and offered to substitute it with Mac and Cheese. I thought that was a bit of a weird substitution, but said okay. Even if it have been regular kraft Mac and Cheese, that would have been fine. What I recieved was unacceptable. I wish I could attach a picture, but it was Macaroni pasta with a slice of American cheese on top. Not mixed, it looked like they put the pasta in the box, put the cheese on top, and closed it without even waiting for it to melt. I cant speak for how their food is in the restaurant, but I would not recommend ordering from here.

New owner. I noticed it empty that was not a good sign. I gave it a shot since it was one of our family's favorite places to eat. Prices went up. My breakfast taste very bland. My pancakes taste like they used a spatula that they had used to cook with someone with onions. Yes, my pancakes taste like onions very disappointed. $43.00 went to trash cuz we left the food. Won't be going back again.

Don’t recommend anymore TLDR: Cheap ingredients, overpriced, bad atmosphere. New management living off the old reputation. Biased reviews (look at them). This used to be a comforting establishment I would frequent with my friends and family. After a while we decided to revisit this place. The vibe was not the same. Service wasn’t rude but they’re not professional. And an example of the cheap ingredients I mentioned earlier is the processed rubbery chicken. I was expecting real chicken like on the photos they provided but instead received gas station like food. This same chicken is used on the sandwiches too. The waffles seemed wet. We tried not be to too hard and enjoy our time but it’s hard to ignore the writing on the wall. Something is up and off at this place. Edit to owner: If you believe your food is good quality then why don’t you use photos of your own products? There is no “slight” difference, it’s completely different than bone-in chicken shown on your menu. It is very misleading and displays this place as untrustworthy.
