Fresh, great quality food. My 2nd time here today ordered the tri-tip bowl which was delicious. Last time ordered the lamb meatballs which I didn't like as much. Have also tried the cauliflower also delicious. Bowls are big and full of fresh and flavorful ingredients. Somewhat pricy at about 13 to 15 dollars per bowl. Highly recommend trying this place.

Great fresh take on a build a bowl idea. I ordered one of the recommended bowls and it was delicious. A great mix of different flavors and toppings over tasty Mediterranean rice. I also tried the tempura cauliflower which was excellent. I will definitely be stopping by again. Affordable prices, great food, and bright clean atmosphere

I love this spot for a lunch pick-up during my work day... fresh choices, complex flavors, many options, beautiful presentation. I feel that the value for portion size is very appropriate. The app is easy to use, and saves my order for the future. I can't speak to the service, since I've always ordered through the pick-up window... but this has been efficient and easy.

Came here on a lunch date after walking around at CarMax. Great customer service, friendly and patient. Built our bowls, and got two one the lemonades. We both favored the white peach lemonade. Hubby went to buy another Togo for himself. Tons of options, tasty flavors. Great portions, I finished my bowl and I’m stuffed! Thanks Mayd!

This is one of the best lunch places in Fresno. Think of Mediterranean food meeting Chipotle style service. This point restaurant is owned by a local restaurant here who has done another amazing job at creating a unique eating experience. The food is Mediterranean style bowls and wraps. The food is made to order. Menus are on the wall or you can make it to order. I really appreciate how fresh the proteins are and they are all cooked in cast iron ceramic pots which really leads to an intense flavor profile. All of the vegetable toppings are fresh and nicely seasoned, and nothing tastes the same. I really enjoyed the garlic sauce the flavors were really intense on my salad. The hummus was incredible and my bowl was very feeling I highly recommend you try this place.

Always delicious. Seasonal favorites are a treat but it doesn't matter what bases or toppings you chose, the flavors are expertly created and the finished bowls always delight.

This was one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. They have an amazing selection of fresh ingredients. The proteins were well cooked and super tasty. Very generous portions as well.

This was the best experience I have ever had at a fast food restaurant. The woman that took my order was so sweet and personable; she asked me about my day and actually inquired and made genuine conversation. She was also very helpful because I have never been to this restaurant before.I will most definitely be returning.

First time here and I got a Big Tipper. It was refreshing, tasty, and fresh. It wasn’t very busy when I was here around 6:30pm on Sunday. The tables were clean and vibes were good. Also go a Greek Yogurt desert (Snickers) and it was a great compliment to the food. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a relatively healthy and lighter meal.

I swear, their food never misses! The times that I order my food to-go, food coming out fresh and packaged with care. I love building my own bowl and pick and choose what you want on their Mayd app(you can do it on their website as well!). Their chai is so good as well as their Gelato! I got the pistachio one with phyllo crumbs and I cannot stop thinking about it! May need to go back soon!

What really stood out, though, was the exceptional customer service. Our server, Paris, was outstanding! He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. To start, there were 4 types of greens and 4 types of grains to choose from. Next, select from some tasty sauces (I chose tzaziki). Can then add some tasty veggies, such as roasted red bell peppers, roasted, diced sweet potatoes, diced beets, or roasted cauliflower. Finally, choose a protein (veg or non-veg). When filled, the bowl is a large amount of food so I had leftovers. Each item I had was delicious. Highly recommend Mayd.

Came 10/14 at noon. The place was clean with good background music (mixed between Arabic and English) which was relaxing and soothing tbh. Very good verity of choices in terms of proteins, salads, and veggies. I had “build your bowl”! The food was good delicious. The staff had a feeling that this was my first time so they were suggesting me what to get and assist me with getting familiar with the menu (very friendly). Room of improvement is to have a name tag in front of the dish, so the customer would know without asking the staff. Thank you for the experience ❣️ Definitely coming back…

Surprisingly great. I do enjoy Mediterranean food, however I usually cannot get all the flavors I enjoy on the menu in one plate. Here at Mayd Modern Mediterranean I was able to get all the tastes I enjoy about Mediterranean food in one bowl. They have the assembly line style of build your own meal. You can build your own bowl or peta bread. They also have pre-set bowls and peta beads that you can build off from. I chose the Big Tipper, a tri-tip steak based bowl. I was allowed to finish the building process with whatever side toppings I wanted. The tri-tip was perfect and the bowl was topped off with the infamous Mediterranean garlic sauce. I was completely satisfied. Oh, and the restaurant was very modern and clean. Restrooms were also very clean.

Restaurant was a Mediterranean style Chipotle but with higher quality food options. The style of food was top notch, the service was exquisite and they are great at explaining all the different options in front of you. Dining aesthetic was modern and extremely clean.

Love their tri tip sandwich! When I don’t want something too heavy of a tri tip sandwich at my go to at dog house grill, I come here and ask for extra bbq and ranch on the side. Waffle fries are great as well! My wife loves their spicy chicks sandwich

Excellent food at an excellent price. Certainly can’t go wrong here. Make your own bowl 100 different ways and try the Shawarma sweet potato waffle fries. Their specialty beverages are super tasty as well. The food servers are absolutely the most lovely, patient, helpful people ever.

Had to try the NAAKOS. Delicious to the last bite. However, my meal was more expensive than expected. Almost $20 for 3 NAAKOS! Will definitely go back with my wife, but I won't take all 8 members of my family. To expensive for my family size.

This was my first time coming here. The staff is very friendly. You are greeted with a smile even when they are busy. They also take the time to explain to you what is in the food. The food is very fresh. The place is very clean. I will be back soon to try something else.

I had a delightful dining experience at this restaurant. We ordered the Chicken Sandwich, and it was nothing short of delicious. The sandwich was bursting with rich curry flavors that were both savory and aromatic, making each bite a pleasure. The fries were equally impressive, seasoned to perfection with a delightful blend of curry, feta cheese, and a mix of spices that elevated their taste to a whole new level. However, there was one downside to our visit. Unfortunately, the soda machine was not functioning correctly, resulting in all the drinks being flat and lacking carbonation. Despite this hiccup, the quality of the food made up for it, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I would recommend this place for the food, though I hope they fix the drink issue soon.

Loved the food—I honestly think this is the best “modern Mediterranean” cuisine I’ve ever had. I really wish Mayd would open in New York City someday soon! My only concern was with the server’s attitude. As a first-time guest, I politely asked for help with my order and some guidance on the menu, but the server made it feel as though assisting me was a burden. Having worked as a waitress myself, I understand how demanding and exhausting the job can be, but whenever a customer was kind to me, I always made sure to return that kindness. I know everyone has off days, but happy servers can make a big difference for business. That said, the food truly stole the show—it was an absolute all-star experience.

I ordered off GrubHub and it came much earlier than the estimated time, which is the first time a restaurant has ever done that. I loved the build your own bowl. I could taste the saffron in my rice and the cauliflower protein option was my favorite. All the flavors and toppings were excellent.

So I Bought 2 orders of lentil soup no toppings and they wouldn’t put more soup in container when I asked , they said they were limited to only one ladle I tried calling to speak to manager it went straight to voice Mail …also she did not stir the soup before serving it in the container…the soup was delicious tonight!..however I wish they were more consistent on the flavors as sometimes it taste better than others as this is what I usually come here for..Also please wear a hair net the girl serving up all the to go orders had long hair hanging out over here shoulder in front of her right over the food yikes! thank you!

I have been to Mayd plenty of times since I knew of it opening! Such great flavors and great atmosphere with kind service! You can switch it up however you would like every time you go so the options are endless! The only reason I am giving a 3/5 is because it was my first time having multiple (a lot) of hard pieces of rice in my bowl … I felt worried I was going to break a tooth. Will not get the rice anymore. + it’s been a couple of times I have found blonde hairs in my food.. ): Again this place is soooo sooo good and amazing but it’s just those few things that I wish did not have to happen when trying to enjoy a meal.. I visited Feb 11th 2026 and had super high expectations for this build your own mediterranen food, given the reviews. Mediterranean food is yummy and was looking for a perfect place to satiate my hunger today. I entered the restaurant which had a modern feel. I was pleasantly surprised by the open space and found out the restaurant is 5 years old. I headed straight to the counter to get a build my own. They had good choices for vegetarian and non-veg meats. However it was surprising that they didn't have the regular falafel balls. They shared I can add falafel strips at the end as a topping. I started my order with 2 salad types and skipped the rice option. I had a choice to add 3 types of dips (I selected the tomato harissa hummus for some heat, regular hummus and feta love). For toppings I added vege options - I added the pickled red onions (which didn't have the kick of pickle but were on the sweet side), thr tomato and cucumber salad (it was nice), kalamata olives (standard) and a seasonal brussel sprout mix. At the end I added the falafel croutons. I had a decision to make on the dressing sauces and tasted them before deciding. I was told the garlic sauce was the most popular, given I love garlic I tried it and unfortunately it was too salty. Next I tried the cilantro chutney and lemon tahini. They tasted fine, and a bit light in taste si didnt hit the palate with a wow. I decided on the cilantro, tahini and basil curry dressings. The dressings were underwhelming when I compare them to Hummus Republic (superior dressing and they have fresh falafel). I finished paying and sat to eat. I gnelty mixed dressings and toppings, until it felt ready to eat. I took my first bite which included a bit of the harissa. The harissa was hot hot hot so took over the palate immediately. I took a few deep breaths (and didnt succumb to an initial temptation to gulp down water to reduce the heat effect). I went to the counter asked for some tanihi to reduce the heat. They charged me 50 cents for a tiny bit of tahini. I mixed it and then started munching again. By this time the flavors mixed. I enjoyed the crunch of the brussel sprout mix and the croutons were surprisingly light (however lacjked the freshness of a fried falafel). The dressings were underwhelming. The staff were fine, they lacked energy. It was 1135 am and they didn't have a smile on heir face or greeted folks as people walked in or left the premises. I will give it a 3 out of 5. Overall I would give the meal a 3 out of 5 given it was a healthy option, and most of the ingredients went well together. The croutons lacked freshness but were a decent substitute to the fried falafel. I would return with tempered expectations. If anyone has recommendations for a truely awesome mediterran option in fresno please share.

As a middle eastern parson who used to manage mediterranean restaurants in state of NY long ago and eats this type of cuisine everyday, this place just demonstrated clearly that people will eat anything you throw in front of them as long as the atmosphere is “eclectic”, “fusion” and nice. The lentil soup was just ok! The pomegranate tea was refreshing. However, the salad bowl that I got…total disappointment to say the least!

Alrighty so where do I begin? I would first like to start out by saying avoid this place because if you have an opinion about the service or about the food you're getting you would get abused and retaliated as a customer. I would like to make it well known to you all that the food is not worth the price and the customer service that you receive. You pay their bills and you give them a job yet they want to treat you unprofessional and rudely to the point if you speak up for yourself in a professional manner you get retaliated. Please spend your money elsewhere and do not put yourself at risk with being abused or disrespected by the owner or the management. When I first started going there portion sizes were great then they began to change on me. Due to this I kindly spoke up and they said that it would be a change from now on. The problem is is they should have never gave me the portion sizes they were giving me. When you give something to somebody that's what somebody would normally expect. They were very inconsistent in their portion and what they were giving yet they should have never gave me the portion size that they started giving me when I would go there. It should have been a smaller portion size the whole time that I was going there if it was policy then. Again avoid this place at all cost because if you share your opinion or your needs as a customer you will be retaliated and abused by The management and owner.
