Any time I'm in town it's a can't miss spot. The food is great and steph is bar none the best server. If Six stars were an option I'd gladly give it
The young lady with the brown hair and blonde highlights was very sweet and helpful. We had called ahead to check the wait after dropping into two other breakfast restaurants that had hour-long waits and was told on the phone they had plenty of availability, unfortunately when we arrived they had gotten busy and had no more seats. After explaining that to the young lady upfront she made sure we were seated quickly. The food was delicious. I'm very satisfied and will come back.
Wholesome american food, decent to small portions, tasty. A grilled vegetables sandwich (two regular sized bread with chopped veggies) with side of small fruit is $17. The frittata was also delicious, potatoes were cooked well. The food took a bit to arrive, so plan for that. The staff was friendly. Inside the store they have knicknacks for sale along with local cookies, honey etc.
Gilbert took very good care of us. Fast service, great food, awesome atmosphere…. will definitely return.
I had a great brunch here on the patio. The food and service were great.
Came here on a breakfast date with my sister in law. It was amazing in all aspects. Staff, food, decor, even price was
As usual I’m driving by and spot a new spot I’ve never been. Luckily for me i was hungry. We said “why not” It did not disappoint the food was great and the staff was friendly made you feel like family. They have inside and patio seating If the weather is nice outside is the way to go. Plenty of healthy options and wine for those who like. Take the family
The atmosphere was nicest. Service was excellent. They were very pleasant and polite but the food. My omelette wasn't very flavorful and my potatoes were burnt and dry
I recently grabbed breakfast here and was happy I did. The customer service was very friendly and the food was great. I enjoyed the chilaquiles and freshly squeezed orange juice. The patio was behaved dog friendly overall had a great vibe. The parking was easy and they had plenty of space indoors and outside on their patio. The menu was large so I’d certainly check it out if you want a solid breakfast or to hangout enjoying coffee on their patio.
Plenty of workers that are friendly. I saw this place noticing it was packed multiple days in a row and visited wanting to see what it was. Wasn't expecting high prices but the food is authentic and amazing. The menu is quite overwhelming I have posted it on this review for you to see ahead of time. We came in and were unsure what to get everything sounds amazing so we took more time than usual deciding.
First time visiting this spot. Idk why we waited so long! We arrived around 1:30pm. Great food and good portions. We got the petite famous stuffed French toast, crab cakes eggs Benedict and pastrami sandwich. Also got a mimosa and kombucha. Nice server (Zack). Would definitely go back!
Really good food. A bit pricey but worth it. They have a cute little seating area out front that is covered. It wasn’t too noisy out there and it was nice and cool. They also had little bowls and treats for people that brought their dogs in. We will be going back again.
A little hole in the wall with delicious food. This restaurant has a home feel to it very welcoming and cozy. The food was delicious and their freshly squeezed orange juice is amazing. A must try.
I'm giving it 5 stars because I really enjoyed my meal, it was 100% worth the money, and I like to support local businesses. However, there were a couple very small things that needed improvement... It's the pandemic, so there's an outdoor tent for seating - but no clear area to check in with a host. The host saw us and told us to sit in the back, but we kind of got lost and invisible to the staff back there. No big deal - we were tended to eventually and they were very friendly. Also there was a curtain that kept hitting my boyfriend because it wasn't secured. I got the crab cake benedict, and it didn't say on the menu that it came with any sides. It ended up arriving with country potatoes (I would've preferred a different side) and the country potatoes were very bland. I know it's rude to ask for salt, but I wasn't going to eat them otherwise. They brought me salt packets instead of a shaker (because of the pandemic?). Anyway, I'm being very nit-picky. It was indeed a great meal. The crab cake benedict was perfectly executed and worth every penny. Will be back!
Took our mom here for a birthday brunch on a Monday, and it was lovely! We all loved our dishes and nice sized mimosas. The fruit was super duper fresh.
Really enjoyed the service, the food and the outdoor seating. I wanted like a cafe style eating place and this did not disappoint. My server was very attentive and the food and drinks came as quick as their service, but def did not feel a rush on anything. Overall really great.
A selection of unique meals. All the ingredients are fresh and taste delicious. Service is very prompt and friendly. We ordered the Mediterranean Quesadilla, and the breakfast burrito both were delicious.

Love this place! Perfect patio cafe to enjoy brunch with some friends on a fabulous spring day. They serve fresh organic plates with a wide selection on the menu. I love the eggs Benedict served with ham the classic style. The potatoes are always well cut and Seasons with just enough crisp on the outside. You have to try the pomegranate mimosas they are refreshing and such a delight to enjoy on the patio. They also have a set menu for health-conscious connoisseurs. This is a nice relaxing upscale environments, enjoy!
This cafe was amazing! I didn't usually even like breakfast food, but their options were so creative and versatile. I loved it! I would have given it 5 stars, except there was a problem where the door wouldn't stay shut and I was freezing! The staff tried to help, but those at my table finally just took turns getting up and fixing it every few minutes.
Delicious eggs benedict and the French toast was amazing. The potatoes are tasty and the restaurant has a super cure and farm vibe. Get there early because it gets full. Also pet friendly with outdoor seating.
Cool little spot! Lunch or breakfast.... choices. Nice area to eat outside 😋. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Cookies are delicious, and portions are not too big. Went Mid day and found seating right away. Plus wholefoods is around the corner!
We’ve lived near Fig Garden Village for 34 years but today was only my second time to eat at this cafe. We usually eat at the La boulangerie on the other side of the village. As a matter of fact we went to the la boo but it was so busy we decided to try out the Patio Cafe. Having now dined here I would say that the la boo now has competition for my business. I enjoyed being seated and having a server which one no longer gets Al the la boo - they’ve gone self- service :( My wife and I both ordered salads - the “petite” salads which are smaller and less expensive. I think my wife’s was a crab cob while I ordered the Thai Chicken Salad. As you can see from my pics our salads were mammoth. Our salads came with bread and butter and were fully sufficient as a meal in themselves. Most importantly, they were very good, along with the friendly service. Although I didn’t order any wine or beer I was glad to have the option. We each had a cappuccino with our salads. Important to note the have outdoor dining and very importantly their restrooms are CLEAN. 10/10 will eat here again. ————————- Edit: latest visit in Nov of 2025 I was related to See French onion soup on their menu so I ordered a half sandwich with a small bowl of French onion soup. It pains me to say this, but the French onion soup had to be the worst I’ve ever had it tasted like Italian dressing. The onions weren’t caramelized; I’m pretty sure they were pickled: just awful. I’ve lowered my rating to three stars

First timer. Super cute, locally-owned eatery. Menu quite impressive but sorta takes forever. Very nice staff though! Cozy atmosphere. Had the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict, which was ok. My cousin had the Sicilian egg omelet, which i liked more. Reasonable all around. Would go again. Support local.
The food is good but in my opinion a bit over priced. Customer service was great. Crab cakes are excellent, The mimosas are perfectly made. Over all good experience.
This cafe was really cute. We sat outside in the patio. It was really nice. Stopped by here for brunch. The food was a bit bland. The customer service was good. Really sweet waiter. Mimosas were quite strong.
This is a cute little eatery for a quick bite. Indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor area has a swamp cooler fan to help keep the area cool. Large selection of breakfast items and lunch on the menu at a reasonable price. The food looked and tasted great! Bread from La Boulangerie bakery was fresh and sooo good. Servers were kind and attentive. Only negatives which may discourage me from returning: hair in my water and food on silverware. I returned the water and asked for clean silverware, but this is something the restaurant should pay more attention to. Cleanliness is very important, regardless of food presentation. The salad pictured up close is the Thai chicken salad (petite size). Picture of 2 salads includes Thai chicken and the Mediterranean chicken. I visited during the lunch hour on 80 degree weather day during the week, sat outside with no wait. Very enjoyable place to have lunch.

Food overall was okay nothing bad but the service is where they got me. We waited an hour and a half for our drinks , we asked the server what had happened and apparently they never placed our order and came after we were done eating this happened on Martin Luther King‘s day Who wanted equality for us minorities :/ I guess they didn’t charge us for the drinks, but it was still hard to get their attention to ask about them .
The food is decent. It’s nothing special, but it’s consistent every time - just like their customer service. I get it, college kids hungover 8am in the morning - understandable. I have tried different days of the week and keep getting the same result. The servers are barely even aware of where they are half the time. It makes for an awkward experience, but I know that once their task of taking my order is done I can eat without being bothered.
The service is good, but the value for what you get, is poor. In the photo you'll see a small bowl of oatmeal and a small, basic breakfast sandwich with two slices of fruit. Each meal was $11.99. Yeah, totally overpriced. The food itself was lackluster and one of the toilets didn't work here, I actually had to lift the tank and pull the chain just to get the toilet to flush. This place was busy on a Friday, mid day. I understand some places are more expensive than others, but I don't see the value here. I won't be returning.
I wasn't impressed with the food. Too small of a portion for 16.99 not including tax. I got the iced coffee and felt that it was too sweet. I got a crab cake benedict petite which I felt it's enough for small child for 16.99. Space is crowded and loud. Staff is friendly.
I ordered 2 scramble eggs and a apple oatmeal pancake. The eggs were overcooked and brown so was my pancake. It looked like the pancake was left on the griddle to long as were my eggs. What's going on? Will I be back?? It depends.
We used to love patio cafe but sadly lately it’s not worth it. Menu prices have increased exponentially and the food quality has not. Ordered avocado toast that was quite sad but still $15. And the chilaquiles seemed like it was made with Doritos for $21. Wish the food lived up to the pricing. Atmosphere and staff service is always great though.

The food is genuinely soooo bad. Expecially the salads. I asked for balsamic because I'm not a fan of olive oil on my salad and she came back with more pure olive oil saying it was balsamic and left before I realized it wasn't. She didn't come back to check on us until we were done so I wasn't able to ask again. Service takes forever and is not very good. Not a single person in my 10 person group liked their food I don't recommend if you have working taste buds.
Very disappointing place, the food was extremely bland and overpriced. The atmosphere was pleasant with a cute vibe, but the food failed to meet expectations. I ordered the grilled chicken and asparagus wrap with the red pepper soup. The wrap was tasteless and uninspiring, and some of the asparagus was slightly old and fibrous. The soup was a travesty. There was absolutely zero flavor and had way too much cornstarch, to the point that it tasted starchy. If I closed my eyes, I would not have known it was supposed to contain red pepper at all. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito with chorizo. He said that the tortilla was unremarkable and tasted overly processed. The potatoes tasted steamed and had no crisp whatsoever. Also, adding the meat was an extra $4 charge, which means that the meatless breakfast buritto cost $17! Almost anywhere else in Fresno can you get a better value for your money. The only redeeming factor was the cheese and the pico de gallo, which tasted fresh. Finally, there's an extra charge to pay with credit card vs. cash, which seems ridiculous in 2025.

I am so disappointed with our lunch today! I grew up coming to Fig Garden village as I graduated from Bullard High so for us that area is a staple. I usually go for brunch every time we visit. Came for lunch and really regret it sadly. We ordered ice tea x 3 which took almost 45 min. It was busy but nothing crazy. She finally brought or ice teas with one cube of ice each. We ordered our food. My mom and I chose to split the pastrami Sandwich with a cup of French onion soup, we ordered an extra cup of French onion soup as well. My husband also prefer the pastrami sandwich with a cup of chicken tortilla soup. The sandwich was so tiny and hardly had any meat which made me realize we should have ordered one each. The soup… that’s what really killed me. It had no cheese and has 2 soggy croutons on top. It tasted sour and like pure vinegar. Completely disgusting and my husband had a bite and was appalled they would serve that. We left still hungry and paid $98.00 for 3 cups of soup, 3 ice teas and two sandwiches. $26.00 for a sandwich with a cup of terrible soup is insane but if it tasted good and was worth the price than I would be 100% ok with it as I know everything is high right now. It was terrible and a waste of money. Quality has gone down and while the server was nice, she had no idea what she was doing and we had no silverware or napkins and couldn’t find anyone to ask so we got up and grabbed our own off the server station near by. Such a shame and will never go back! Overly priced, poor quality and mediocre service
Food is good but waiters always take forever to get your order & to seat you. Place needs better waiters. I recommend this place for take out only. I also don’t recommend feeding your kids here . $12 for kids is way too expensive for what it is. I mean come on $12 for a peanut butter sandwiches!! You’re better of going to black bear for $7 to feed your kids & it comes with a drink.
Friendly servers, clean facility.. However, my bacon had hair stuck on it and I bit into it🤢it definitely was not mine… manager didn’t seem to concern and was not apologetic. Needless to say i completely lost my appetite and just drank the coffee. Check your food before eating it. 🤔🤨
