Had a real good lunch here last week on a Wednesday. It wasn’t busy so was able to chat with co workers for a long time. I had just a double burger and it was pretty good. The salads were large. The onion rings are huge and were tasty but the fried pickles were probably my favorite fried pickles I’ve ever had. I would pass on the cheese fries. Great service and fun atmosphere.

My family and I eat here a few times a month. Their bacon wrapped jalapeños, fried pickles, and loaded cheese fries are so good! I always get the southern fried chicken sandwich- it’s super flavorful on its own, but the chipotle ranch makes it pop! The service is always great, and kids get a free ice cream sundae with their meal.

We traveled from Sherman with my in laws to find a new place to eat. I saw this place on Google and decided to give it a try. They immediately sat our party of 7 and we really loved the atmosphere. I love a good burger, and the photos on google were what initially drew me in. Our server was so polite and she overheard my MIL mention it was my birthday. We got our food within a reasonable amount of time after ordering. Everyone enjoyed their meal and had a great time. After our server brought us the check, she also brought me a card, which I was absolutely surprised to receive. I opened it and realized they had made me a birthday card, which made me so happy! Everything about this place was exceptional, and we will absolutely be back!

Great burger. It is more a gourmet type of burger. I tried the mushroom Brie which comes open in a plate so I ate with fork and knife. I tried the truffle Parmesan fries and they were great, a little too salty for my taste. Service is awesome!

During my recent trip to Dallas, I made it a point to try as many burger spots as possible — and Kenny's Burger Joint in Frisco absolutely stood out as the best of the bunch. From the moment we walked in, the staff set the tone for a great experience. In particular, Luc Johnson went above and beyond. His knowledge of the menu and thoughtful recommendations really made a difference. He helped us pick the perfect combination of burgers and sides, and everything he suggested was spot-on. The food itself was phenomenal — juicy, flavorful burgers cooked to perfection, and sides that complemented them perfectly. But what really elevated the experience was the professionalism, friendliness, and cleanliness of the entire operation. The place was spotless, and the staff worked like a well-oiled machine. If you're anywhere near Frisco and love a great burger, do not miss Kenny's. It’s more than just a meal — it’s a standout experience. Our family stopped by Kenny’s Burger Joint in Frisco for dinner this weekend, and it definitely lived up to the hype! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting — lively but still comfortable for kids. The staff greeted us right away and made sure we had everything we needed from start to finish. We started with the onion rings, which were huge and perfectly crispy — a big hit with the whole table. For the main course, everyone got something a little different, and every burger came out juicy, flavorful, and cooked just the way we asked. The Classic Cheeseburger was simple and delicious, while the Bacon Cheddar and Bleu Cheese Burger had that great smoky, grilled taste that makes Kenny’s stand out. The kids split some fries and mac & cheese, and the portions were generous enough for sharing. My spouse tried one of their “adult milkshakes” and loved it — a fun treat that still fit the family vibe. The service was quick and friendly, even though the restaurant was busy. Our server checked on us often without hovering, and everyone seemed genuinely happy to be there.

Honestly, one of the best overall dining experiences I have had in a long while, quite possibly ever! I’m visiting Dallas from Houston and was I was kind of craving a burger and I saw the sign for Kenny’s Burger Joint, and something just registered and I stopped in to check it out, no research, strictly intuition and blind faith. Upon entering, I knew I had made the right choice. It was 2:00 on a Monday but the atmosphere was intoxicating. Not overly packed or crowded but, lively and comforting. There were several groups spread throughout the restaurant and bar, everyone was cheerful and the vibe was overwhelmingly pleasant and unexplainable nostalgic. It felt like a mix of something between a 1950s Americana diner, a classic Texan roadhouse/saloon, and a post 2010 modern craft burger spot. I know it sounds eclectic, but it was melded perfectly into a unique but also familiar atmosphere. I sat alone and started out with a coffee, a Coca Cola, and a happy hour espresso martini with bourbon cream (lol I know it’s crazy, but I was treating myself) and my server, Leah, made me feel welcomed, at home, and even brewed a fresh pot of coffee while I settled in. Right off the bat, the hospitality was phenomenal and I could tell this would be a fantastic meal in fact that’s when I started writing this review. Leah then gave me a wonderful run through of the menu and offered excellent curated suggestions which I decided to go for and they were all phenomenal. I started with the chips and queso which is usually at least pretty good anywhere in Texas. It arrived within a few minutes and was one of the best I’ve ever had. The chips were hot, oily and perfectly crunchy, the queso was hot, perfectly spiced and perfectly gooey, absolutely sensational, which is quite the complement if you’re from Texas. Having the best chips and queso in Texas is like having the best pasta in Italy. Then my Burger arrived, I went for the Jucy Lucy, a burger stufffed with american cheese and mustard, legitimately wood fired and finished with crisp diced onion and pickle. Perfectly salted between a soft lightly toasted bun. You know when you see a commercial for a McDonald’s burger and you think wow that looks amazing but no burger actually looks like that… this was that burger. I continued to trade bites and sips of my various selections, orchestrating a symphony of the best of the flavors American cuisine has to offer. I was stuck in an intoxicating trance reminiscent of Odysseus when he visited the land of the lotus eaters. At one point I was convinced Leah might be psychic because she anticipated any need I had before I even realized it. I love to drink Coca Cola, and anytime I was about to take my last sip, there was a fresh one that promptly arrived right in front of me. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, I was yet again blown away. Halfway through my martini she even brought over a new perfectly chilled frosted glass and transferred it to this chilled glass, revitalizing the drink and imbibing it with the frothy crispness and vigor of a freshly shaken pour. I mean come on, what a touch of genius and kindness!! Never, even at the Michelin star restaurants I have dined at has someone done this for me. For that alone, I was speechless and legitimately almost moved to tears. 1 for the bar team and their perfect rendition of an espresso martini, and 2 Leah and the entire front of house team for their near psychic hospitality instincts. I am now just sitting here nursing my 3 drinks in a blissful state of gustatory nirvana. From the moment I sat down, I felt as though I have been attended to consistently, but never in a way that feels overbearing or intrusive. Any need or desire has been met, nay exceeded, before I even knew I had it. And never have a I felt more welcomed and comfortable as a solo diner than at this establishment. The best part was that when I look around right now, I see every other patron having the same experience that I am. I encourage any one reading this to just go and experience it for yourselves!

We are visiting from out of town. We were looking for somewhere to eat. We found this place not too far from where we were and not too far from the hotel we were staying at. Went here got seated right away. Our server, Emily, came over within a minute and asked for our drink orders. Came back after a person came back to our table from stepping away for a minute. Took our order. She asked if we had any questions. I did have one. I asked what the mushroom brie was. She explained it very well. We ordered, our food came out after a few minutes. Shout out to the cook on 8/15/2025 around 130 to 230pm, that was by far thee best mushroom burger I have ever had. Thank you. It was overall a great experience. I saw they had won awards in the past. After today I see why they have. I can't wait to come back. I recommend this place fully.

I stopped in for lunch at Kenny's Burger Joint after driving by that morning on my way to work and thought I'd give it a shot. I am a burger aficionado, I have easily had thousands of burgers in my life, and I enjoy cooking them as well. It isn't hard to make a decent burger, but this place takes it to a new level, an art! I had the Black and Blue burger with blue cheese, bacon, and grilled jalapeños along with the truffle fries. HOLY COW, this is the tastiest burger I've had in a long time!! Kenny's has more on the menu, and I look forward to trying it all, especially Philly, which they call the "Steak Bomb." Any way to get out of saying the word "Philly" is fine with me. The place gets really busy around lunch, so be prepared for a 20min wait or so, if you are walking in around 12:30, but it is totally worth it! Trust me, go and enjoy this place if you can.

Back in town and always make KBJ one of our stops! Enjoyed dinner with the fam (party of 10), this past Wednesday night, called ahead to reserve as they suggested. All went great! Austin was our server and did a fantastic job with our orders, cocktails and dining request. Our entrees came out hot, and timely, the speciality cocktails top notch as always! I’m not sure how I’m just finding out about this place, but I’m glad I did. It’s fantastic! We received great service from Lesleh, our burgers were full of flavor and a decent size. I like the fact that you can share the sides and that everything’s very reasonable. For example to add two pieces of bacon it was only $1. You don’t see that anymore so yes I’m a fan. 10/10 would recommend!

I was visiting for a work trip, and needed to eat after a long flight. I found Kenny's on Google Maps and decided to try it out. At first I was a bit confused as from the outside it looked like the place was closed (darkened windows and uninviting doors made it seem like it was closed.). I asked someone who seemed to be walking up to the doors at the same time if they were open and she said yet. Once inside there is a bar area to the right, and sit down dining to the left. I was planning to do a take out order. It took a couple of minutes before anyone acknowledged me, and when I said I wanted to do a takeout order, he directed me to the bar because someone had not arrived yet. (not sure who that was or why it mattered). The bar staff were amazing. I believe their names were Eric and Joe, and they ended up taking great care of me. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries. The burger was cooked to perfection and had plenty of flavor. I substituted American cheese for the cheddar that was supposed to come on it. The fried need to go though. They are a batter covered fry (most likely frozen) and they have no flavor. I would prefer hand cut natural fries which are just as easy to make. I tried the fried pickles. They were okay. Again, no real flavor to the batter, but had a nice crunch. The onion ring is very good and huge. The bacon wrapped Jalapeno pepper has a nice crunch to it and flavor. Overall I recommend this place, but just with they would change their french fries. Oh and the cool thank you note they put on my bag was a great touch!

We recently had lunch at this location and it was good but fell a little short of exceptional. Wait staff was friendly and service was professional and efficient, but also did not go any extra mile that we could tell. We both had the Waygu Hamburgers for lunch and they where generously portioned and jucy, delicious and flavorful and definitely hit the spot for a sumptuous lunch, however......the Truffle fries where a bit over powering and oil logged, I have had Truffle fries at many different restaurants before and these where the first thst I could still taste for hours after I ate them. So just fair warning be sure you really appreciate that particular earthy flavor before ordering these here. Only other real retraction is their draft beer menu... the selection of their beers is very pedestrian and in definite need of a refresh of the more modern and trendy for DFW. Most restaurants in DFW tend to have Yuengling avaliable on tap or atleast in the 16oz bottle cans. So Kenny's is still far better then any fast food options but as a craft burger restaurant they need to step up or will be soon left in the background.

The burgers were good. I went with an Original and the Double Double. No fries and water. In the long run it is healthier with the two sandwiches and no fries. The burgers were cooked correctly and plated well. (See pics) I would not go as far as saying they were the best I have had nevertheless good. Sadly, Seth the waiter was having an off night and forget I was even there. The manager Kylie stepped up and took care of me. I would say if you have a chance to stop in, do it. They do have a seven pound burger challenge, $50 free I'd you eat it in an hour. It had three pounds of meat and the rest is add-ons. Parking is tight, there was no wait to seat, and the atmosphere was more bar like than burger focused restaurant. Enjoy the moments, cheers!

When on holiday it’s always nice to explore new places. This is a popular spot from what we could tell. It reminded me of an episode from King of the Hill when Bobby tempted the steak challenge (this restaurant has a few food challenges). None of which I am confident to try. However, I would like to have been around to see someone try one. There is a hall of shame for those who were defeated and a wall of fame for those who went to conquered and did! The food was tasty. The service was good. Our server was well knowledgeable of the menu and the restaurant. His fun facts were entertaining. In spite of our server being extremely busy, he made sure to check on us and the others he was serving. This is a must stop for me if I am ever in the area again.

I placed an order for pick up , I got the zeds straight up with ketchup and mustard added, also with a side of tots. When I unwrapped my burger at home the first thing I noticed was how greasy one side of the burger was. Literally had a grease puddle on the top of the bun. I asked for medium, it was cooked perfectly and I got everything I wanted on the burger. I only at the half that wasn’t soggy, I will more than likely deconstruct the other half and make it into a salad because the bun on that side is literally inedible. As for the tots, I was shocked when I opened them up and they were still crunchy! A lot of places can’t cook good tots, they’ll be soggy when you get home but theirs were not. Only thing is they were a bit too salty. The staff was nice and greeted me upon arrival. I want to make it clear that the burger itself was like really tasty. The meat was good and seasoned and like everything like just blend it together perfectly. My only issue is the soggy bun like for me, that’s one of my most important parts of a burger. I like a nice soft bun. The half of the burger that I ate was delicious. It would’ve been a 10 out of 10 for me if the whole burger was like that.

We ordered food to go, and I specifically requested a well-done burger. I was told that the burgers are normally prepared medium-well, but I still insisted that my burger be cooked all the way through. I was disappointed to find that my burger was undercooked. The truffle parm fries were served in a brown paper bag, which caused oil to seep through and create a mess. The oil ended up soaking through the bag and onto the food containers below. When I went back inside of the restaurant to ask if the fries could be repackaged, I was told that this is how fries are always served. I had to explain how my family was eating in the car and didn't want an oily mess on our laps before someone agreed to put the fries in a different container. A few small tweaks in customer service and attention to packaging could go a long way. I hope this feedback is useful.

Very disappointing. We expected it to be better based on the reviews. My wife ordered the old fashioned double double. The menu says it will be "cooked to your specs". We were never asked our specs. The burger came out with blood running across the plate. The bun was soggy from this. My wife cut the burger in half. The burger was barely cooked at all. I eat rare meat often, and I would NOT have eaten this burger myself. My wife called the server over to the table and told her the issue and asked for it to be well done. The server, Meagan, was friendly, and took the burger away. The burger came back with a new bun. My wife cut into it again. It was more done, but was still closer to rare. (See the picture attached. This is the burger AFTER having it cooked more). They put so much mustard on it the second time that it was a mess to eat. The really frustrating part is that my wife had originally cut the burger in half. They literally took the two halved patties and put them back on the grill. They then used those same patties again. When getting the burger back the second time, my wife didn't know they had used the same patties because the bun and everything else was new and uncut. As she usually does, she cut the burger in half. Now, because the patties had previously been cut in half, she had 8 pieces of patty falling out all over her and her plate covered in mustard. My wife ate about 1/4 of the burger. The total price for 2 burgers, 2 fries and 2 sodas was nearly $48 + tip. For half of that, we could have had a much better experience at Whataburger.
