I’ve been to Wabi House a handful of times for the Happy Hour specials. The food is always prepared deliciously and the service is always top notch. The staff and management was able to accommodate us when we came as a big group, allowing us to move inside once room cleared up. I highly recommend coming for during Happy Hour for some cheaply priced drinks and small bites. As a lover of scallops, the seared scallops were perfectly cooked. My personal favorite to order for the table is Hama Rayu — we ordered 4 servings in one sitting because it was that good.
Love this new location. The space/ambiance inside is awesome. My group was here for happy hour (4-7p on weekdays). We enjoyed the mussels and the curry sauce that it came with was so good especially with the bread. Hamarayu was my favorite. Scallops and karaage were good too! Can’t go wrong with any of the HH menu items really. We had fried cheesecake was just crispy enough and not too sweet with the black sesame ice cream 🤤 Service was attentive and prompt with all the food/drinks we got. Overall awesome place and will be back to try the ramen 🙌🏼
Really great place with amazing happy hours options, available even on the weekend. We had shishito peppers, takoyaki, grilled scallops as appetizers and they all were delicious. We had couple of different ramens: pork piece was melting in mouth and was so good! Ramen itself was pretty good, maybe not the best one you can find, though. Overall, if I’m anywhere close by, I’ll definitely come here again, 5 out of 5.
Love the foods and drinks! My boyfriend and I came here for Happy Hours on Sunday (yes they do HH on weekends!) We ordered the Hama Rayu, Takoyaki, Seared Hotate (scallops), Saffron Mussels, Tonkotsu ramen and Dry Garlic ramen. Everything was delicious especially the ramens and the saffron mussels!!
Decided to get something more on a soup base side, searched on google and notice Wabi House in the area. Couldn’t pass up on some ramen and decided to go there during their lunch house which is from 12PM-3PM. Ended up getting the chicken karaage (no picture) & Spicy Miso. Lovely environment and service was great. Won’t be the last time I’ll be back for some amazing ramen. PS. Happy Hour is a great time to go when you have a chance from 3PM-7PM.
Had a combined happy hour and dinner. Good happy hour menu with several tasty entries - seared scallops is an excelent dish. Ramen is good with decent portion. Hot sake is OK and paired well with happy hour entries. Lichi li drink is so so. Attentive staffs. Plenty of parking spaces at the nearby parking structure.
The food at Wabi House is so flavorful and good! I am now a fan of Ramen and have had several of their dishes, my favorite being spicy miso. I love to hang out at the bar with friends and enjoy signature cocktails created by someone who is quickly becoming one of my favorite bartenders, Derek. I highly recommend adding this restaurant into your rotation.
Our go to Ramen restaurant in DFW. The quality of food and services are very consistent. We usually order SpicyMiso Ramen, Tonkotsu ramen & Karaage! They also have happy hour! So I recommend to take and advantage of that!!
I absolutely love Wabi House! Their $8 ramen during happy hour is an unbeatable deal—delicious, flavorful, and satisfying every time. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a quick meal or a casual hangout. Lana provided exceptional service—so friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. She’s truly the best! Highly recommend Wabi House for anyone craving amazing ramen and outstanding service!
I’ve had wabi house before but in Fort Worth. So when I heard they have a want house in Frisco, I was thrilled. My friends and I met there for dinner and we splurged! We ordered the crab bone marrow, cucumber salad, saffron mussels, and takoyaki for starters. Then, we each ordered some ramen of course! We finished with fried ice cream! We were so full at the end of dinner but we had an amazing time. The service was so good! Servers were attentive and respectful. Wabi house decor has Japanese inspired vibes and is pretty big! Great for small or large groups; like date night, girls or guys night out, family or friends. If you like ramen with a twist of some western, check this place out. Till then, let’s eat!
This place was great! The food was authentic, warming, and savory. Everything came out quick and our server was pretty friendly. The ramen tasted amazing with the right amount of spices, umami, and saltiness. Their edamame spicy sauce is also really good.
Come into this joint at least once a week.. they have thee best happy hour & ramen just a few mins from my place. Came back today for dinner and some quality time, and food/service did not disappoint.. everyone, and I mean everyone is engaged in making your experience better.. but I have to say Rohail exceeds expectations. He is super personable, attentive, kind and warm.. cannot wait to come back and bring close friends!
We just happened to pop by Wabi House after we drove by and saw it had opened. We sat on the lovely patio and watched the Mavs game and were SO excited to have such amazing ramen & udon!! Definitely our new favorite ramen spot in the area. My girls had TWO servings of each of their dishes, so you know it has to be amazing 😊 One had the Tsukemen udon and the other had spicy miso- both were fresh and outstanding! Hubs and I also had the Tsukemen which is SOO good- but also only available after 5pm, so you won’t see this on their lunch menu. It’s 💯 worth a stop by for dinner though! We also had the crab bone marrow (it’s as delicious as it sounds for us bone marrow lovers), the chicken hearts and the crispy pork ears. All were fabulous! Service was friendly, fast and they were extremely accommodating to switch the outdoor TV to the Mavs game for us. The inside is beautifully decorated as well- definitely another Frisco gem!
After 10 visits here within a month, I would consider myself a Wabi House expert. I used to visit the Dallas location when I officed down there, but now officing here in Frisco, I can walk to this location within 3 minutes. The staff here are all so nice. The host team are very gracious and remember me when I visit. The kitchen manager, Matthew, has always been very friendly and notices me when I come. The servers, Sophie , and many others are all very friendly and greet me so nice. I have came for the lunch special and came for the happy hour. I don’t ever have any complaints on food. I am only waiting on a Ramen Bowl stamp card! Hahahaaaa. Highly recommend, I love the SHOYU ramen the best!
I went here for lunch with my children for the first time, and they loved it! The flavor was on point, though a bit salty for my taste. They offered a special lunch ramen for $8, which was a great price, but I wish they included udon and more ramen options in the special. I took my husband and children back for a second visit, and it was even better. The atmosphere and look of the place are wonderful—definitely a spot we’ll return to!
Top 2 Ramen places I’ve been to in Texas. This one was AMAZING. This place is beautiful and clean, our waitress Sandy was Amazing, very knowledge, and attentive. My favorite was Hama Rayu & Tonkatsu. The pork broth was so creamy and flavorful. The egg was delicious and everything paired so well. The depth of flavor really wowed me. I will definitely be back
Great ramen options and taste of food is good too. Their must try is their Miso ramen, beef udon and the veg ramen. For starters edamame, lamb chops and chicken karage is good. Their Japanese fried cheesecake and sesame ice cream is good. Their drinks option is good too. Suggest to visit during weekday 11-3 to enjoy any ramen at $8. The place ambience and hospitality is good too. Ask for customization if you’re a vegetarian.
We were fortunate enough to hit this place during a happy hour around 5:30p. Took advantage of the happy hour prices on small plates for starters. Also had a warm saki. The Takoyoki was some of the best we've ever had. Ended up ordering more. We liked it that much. For Ramen, we had the spicy miso, tonkotsu, and shoyu. Everything was delicious. The take out container was brilliant and keeps the Ramen and toppings separate from the broth. Ton was our server, and he was amazing. Made great suggestions and kept our glasses full. Always there when we needed him. We won't hesitate to come again.
Excellent experience. We got here right before happy hour ended, and the happy hour menu has some really great options. Our waitress Shalimar knew the menu really well. Her recommendations were spot on and definitely hit the spot. Make sure to ask for dragon style of you want it REAL spicy. Shalimar was nice enough to mention that. Didn't have room for dessert. Will definitely go back here again. Just remember parking is not easy.
We’ve chased Japanese flavors all over Dallas, hopping from one “izakaya” to the next, hunting for the real deal—negima skewers, tonkotsu ramen, small plates that actually taste like Tokyo. Wabi House in Frisco, TX landed squarely in that rare category of places that delivers. The gyoza arrives first, hand-rolled and kissed with just the right sear. You can tell the chef cares, the kind of care that makes simple dumplings unforgettable. Then the tonkotsu ramen shows up, rich and unrelenting, a bowl of pork-bone broth that punches well above its Texan zip code. I found myself forgetting I was in Frisco, believing I could be somewhere in Fukuoka instead. And the negima skewers, the negima. Perfectly cooked, perfectly glazed, each bite a flashback to smoky streets lined with lanterns and chatter. It’s a simple thing done without compromise. Go to Wabi House and trust the menu. Order anything. It will arrive with care, precision, and flavor that makes you question why you ever settled for “just okay” Japanese before. This is not just a meal. It’s a small, sharp taste of Japan in the heart of Texas.
This was our first time in this location. The service was excellent, our server recommended some plates and explained others. The presentation of every plate was as good as it was tasty. My go-to is the Spicy Miso, and I usually start with the Pork Ears and Sishito Peppers. We loved and definitely recommend Wabi House.
This was our first time and we loved the happy hour. I mean $6 glasses of wine and $3-$7 small plates and the food was really good! We didn’t have Ramen which this is a Ramen place. The Shishito peppers and edamame were our favorites. The dumplings were also good. Nick, our waiter, was attentive with quick service and a friendly smile. We will be back!!
The ambience, food and service were all 10/10. We went during happy hour so the shareable were half off. The crab rangoons and takoyaki were the best app we had, if we didn’t go there specifically for the ramen we probably would have made a whole meal off them. I got the tonkatsu ramen with minced pork and wow. If you live in Friso/plano this is a place you must try. If you are visiting you must try.
As always, this is the brst Ramen in Dallas, period. The Charsu Pork on the Tonkotsu is out of this world 🌎 delicious. Smokey, slightly sweet, a little crispy, charred, and porky. Get extra, you'll know why after you taste it. The Tonkotsu broth is rich, creamy and unconsciously delicious. I will be back.
Really delicious food, happy hour menu is so good drinks were blast. I really enjoyed cocktails edamame spicy and corn fritters and shishito peppers
10/10 highly recommend! The bone marrow and crab may sound strange, but you're missing out if you dont give it a try! From the real crab mixed with a little Japanese mayo to the roasted bones filled with rich marrow, the depth of flavor in this appetizer alone will tell you what to expect here. Our waiter, who was also our bartender, made this a great first experience, and he was definitely a master of his craft. The drinks were top-notch. It's definitely a new favorite spot!
Wabi House has hands down the best ramen I’ve ever tried! The flavors are rich, savory, and perfectly balanced. The service was quick and friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. We also loved their happy hour, great deals and great vibes! Definitely a must-visit if you’re a ramen lover or just looking for a cozy and delicious spot
My son wanted to eat ramen after soccer match so we just dropped into this restaurant and I was surprised the quality of ramen was quite good! Reasonable price and nice ambience as well. Good found.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem in the Heart of The Star! If you're craving authentic, soul-warming ramen in the Frisco Star corridor, this spot is a must-visit! The Spicy Miso Ramen absolutely hits the mark — perfectly balanced heat, rich broth, and noodles with just the right chew. I also tried the Tonkotsu Ramen, and wow... velvety, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. You can tell the broth has been simmered for hours. The ambiance is modern and fun, fitting right into the vibrant energy of The Star. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was quick without feeling rushed. Whether you're a ramen enthusiast or just looking for a delicious, comforting meal, this place delivers. Can't wait to come back!
We went for dinner here and I ordered the tonkotsu ramen. It was amazing. That broth is rich, savory, and totally satisfying. Not sure if I can call it 100% authentic, but it was awesome .
If you’re craving delicious ramen and top-notch service, look no further than Wabi House in Frisco! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is incredibly attentive, making sure every guest feels right at home. Their customer-friendly attitude truly sets them apart, as they go above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. One of the standout features of Wabi House is their reasonable pricing. In a world where great food often comes at a steep cost, it’s refreshing to find a place that delivers both quality and affordability. The menu offers a fantastic variety without breaking the bank, allowing you to indulge in flavorful dishes without worrying about your budget. Speaking of flavors, the ramen at Wabi House is nothing short of spectacular! I highly recommend trying their Spicy Tonkotsu—it’s packed with rich, hearty flavors and just the right amount of heat. Another must-try is the Bone Marrow Crab, which brings a unique and decadent twist to traditional ramen. For a delightful appetizer, the Karage is an absolute winner—crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. What really impressed me was the speed of service. Despite being quite busy, the food arrived promptly, hot, and beautifully presented. You can tell that the team works efficiently to maintain quick service without compromising quality. Wabi House Frisco has truly won me over with their friendly service, great prices, and absolutely delicious ramen. Whether you’re a ramen enthusiast or just looking for a casual dining spot with friends, this place will not disappoint. I can’t wait to visit again and explore more of their mouthwatering menu!
Delicious and beautiful interior. Will be coming back. Favorites were the pork ear and the matcha creme brulee.
A Truly Memorable Experience at Wabi House – Frisco, TX From the moment we walked through the doors of Wabi House on Gaylord Street, we knew we were in for something special. We were warmly greeted by the host, Rohail, who was not only incredibly inviting but also took the time to help us choose our very first appetizer. His kindness and knowledge set the tone for the evening. Every Friday, I take my daughter on a culinary trip to a different country, and this week’s destination was Japan. Wabi House did not disappoint. The ambiance was welcoming, the atmosphere felt authentic yet relaxed, and the service—absolutely top-notch. Our waiter, Anthony, was equally fantastic. He guided us through the menu with enthusiasm and expertise, helping us pick the perfect entrées and additional appetizers. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor made the experience even more enjoyable. The food? Incredible. Every dish was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and felt like a true taste of Japan. Hats off to the chef for such impressive execution. And the pricing was more than fair for the quality and service we received. Wabi House is officially on our list of must-visits. If you haven’t been yet—go. This was A1 service from beginning to end, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.
I came for happy hour two times during the Dallas Open and was happily surprised. You can really get a taste of everything without spending much at all!

Yummy food, good and quick service! The appetizers were amazing and str of the show. Octopus balls, fried chicken and lamb chop. The ramen was flavorful as well. Great value for money!
This place was great! The food was authentic, warming, and savory. Everything came out quick and our server was pretty friendly. The ramen tasted amazing with the right amount of spices, umami, and saltiness. Their edamame spicy sauce is also really good.
I went during happy hour to see what they offered compared to other locations. Not a ton of options but a good amount of shareable appetizers and some fun cocktails. I’d definitely recommend the chicken karaage. It tasted freshly fried and the texture was crispy. The takoyaki were a bit mushy inside compared to other takoyaki I’ve had so I probably wouldn’t order that again. The tsukemen (dipped ramen) was average. The broth wasn't thick enough to coat the noodles, flavor was average, and the chashu meat was thick but not tender. The lychee cocktail was refreshing and tasty, would recommend! Overall, the happy hour is worth checking out. And they have a ramen lunch special for $8!
Came in on a Thursday after the Icemageddon, there was some people in, great music, love the location. The wife and I started with a couple of appetizers First was the sesame cucumber, and it was delicious, loved the sauce, I could have licked from the plate, lol then it was the Gyoza aka potstickers, lol, I really liked these taste better than the regular potstickers, these are fried but have a nice lite texture. The it was the Ramen, the Ramen here seems to be a bit lighter on the salt compared to Hakata, also they seem to give you a bigger portion of protein, now what was a bit surprising was the hot chili was not really hot, it was ok, I wanted more heat, but tasted really good, wife had the spicy miso, she did not like the meat being ground, but tasted good. I had the tonkotsu probably spelled it wrong it was very good, large chunks of pork, nice thin ramen. I really enjoyed this place and will definitely come back.
Tried Wabi House's Frisco location and thought it was pretty solid overall. Prices are fair; I noticed the menu prices were more affordable than a lot of other ramen spots in DFW, though the portions felt a bit smaller. Broth and noodles were good, but the pork chashu was kind of dry and didn't taste super fresh. Other than that, the other ramen components were very solid. I didn't order any drinks myself, but my entourage did and the presentation was gorgeous! Wouldn't mind coming back, but I'm still on the hunt for the best ramen in DFW
There was no wait upon arrival. The location is well lit & decorated. The food was served very quickly. I enjoyed my ramen and look forward to visiting again.

First time eating here. Our group of two was taken to our table and our first server let us know he wasn’t aware he was supposed to be our server. Our first server took our appetizer and drink order. After we received our appetizer and drinks about 15 minutes had gone by and our first server had returned to take out ramen order and let us know we will getting a new server. After 30ish minutes had gone by and our ramen still hadn’t been dropped off we got the attention of the hostess. She went to get our new server, he came by and asked us if we were ready for the check. We let him know that we are waiting for our ramen. He came back and let us know the first server didn’t put our order in. The food was good though.
I really enjoy the food here and the ramen is still some of the best I’ve had. I’ve had good experiences in the past, which is why this is disappointing to write. My last two visits dining alone were off-putting due to customer service. On my most recent visit, I walked in, asked to be seated, and said it was just me. Without asking my preference, the hostess immediately walked me to the bar. When I politely said I did not want to sit at the bar and preferred a table, she became visibly irritated and her demeanor completely changed. What made it worse is that the bar area was loud and distracting, with staff joking around and congregating there. That is not an environment I want to sit in, especially when I am trying to enjoy a meal peacefully. Wanting a table as a solo diner should not be treated like an inconvenience. I still like the food, but the front-of-house service and professionalism, particularly from the hostess and the behavior around the bar area, really need improvement. It makes the experience uncomfortable and unwelcoming.
I'm not sure why this place has great reviews, the food was pretty bad. We had the shishito peppers, shrimp dumpling, lychee mocktail, vegetarian ramen with egg, and the should ramen with chicken karage. Not only did they messed up everyone's order (drinks included), but the food was awful. I have better ramen grabbing an instant noodle pack from an Asian grocery store. The broth had no flavorings only to be overwhelmed by the bamboo shoot. Save your money, there are much better ramen places in DFW.

🪳🪳 Horrible experience - never going back. We were seated at the bar which was fine until they turned on the blender for the majority of our visit. So the option of conversation was gone unless you wanted to scream over it. I ordered the veggie ramen and confirmed that it was made vegan. It was not vegan though. The bamboo shoots are marinated in fish sauce. It hurt my stomach really bad and I didn’t even finish my food. Also their broth is nothing to rave about. There are much better places in the DFW. Then there was a roach right near my boyfriend’s food. We move a couple seats down but that roach was far more comfortable than we were. Never again. High reviews are misleading.
