Absolutely loved my experience at The Common Table in Frisco! The vibe is relaxed yet lively, perfect for brunch or a night out. The food was fresh and flavorful—highly recommend the chicken and waffles and their craft cocktails. The service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. It’s clear they care about both quality and atmosphere. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to.

Only complaint is the wait (2+hours) but if you plan it right it won’t make you Hangry. Music was a vibe! Food was delicious. Server was friendly and quick. I got the Short Rib Hash! Fire! My friends order Chicken and waffles (both cleaned their plates) and how cute the waffle was in the shape of Texas…and I tried the Buffalo Wings dry rub , yummy paired with their homemade Ranch dressing! We were so hungry we didn’t even try the drinks! Next time though! A lot of parties were celebrating birthdays! So it’s the spot! Recommend

My husband and I visited this spot while in town for business. There was no wait and it wasn’t very crowded, but it still took about 20 minutes before our drink orders were taken. Once everything got started, our waitress was nice and attentive. The food quality was good overall. I enjoyed the hash, and my husband had the chicken and waffles. He said they tasted like something you could get anywhere—nothing particularly exciting for the palate. We’re glad we tried it, but one visit was enough for us. Still, I’d say go and try it for yourself.

I decided to try something new in my area. I stopped into The Common Table in Frisco, and let me be transparent. There was nothing Common about the experience. It was wonderful. The food was so delicious. We started off with the wings. Hands down, the best seasoned wings I've ever had in my life. Then I ordered the Pan Seared Atlantic Salmon and was blown away. This finish the experience, I ended the experience with the Heath Bar Bread Pudding...I wish I had a slice right now. Soooo good:) Sara V was our server and she was fabulous. Job well done Common Table in Frisco Texas:)

At 11 o’clock reservations, you have to have reservations for the brunch and I’m assuming it was completely all booked up because we couldn’t switch tables. It was a good crowd this time they had music playing, but we were told by our waitress Lauren that a DJ would come in at 12 so we ordered the mimosa tower. Our first tower was a bit flat and warm. Lauren had no issue whatsoever with it changing it brought the bottles out to the table open it at the table this tower was much better. Lauren was very sweet, we ordered our food. I ordered the chicken fried steak. My friend ordered the smothered biscuits food was “average” nothing special at all there was no seasoning what so ever but the vibe was good. I would come back for the vibe 😁

If you’re looking a good Saturday brunch I’d recommend this place. The food was very flavorful and filling. I ordered the biscuit and it was sooo good (minus the jalapeño jelly). Regarding the service it’s was very busy the day I went, so I didn’t see our server often which was a hassle towards the end when I need the check. If you’re coming here I’d recommend a reservation!

A really good place to go alone or even catch up with a group of friends great music and good bartending. Suggest going there on Tuesday evenings to get the extended happy hour drinks and also half the price on appetizers. The appetizer menu is little short and limited more options can be included. I had the chicken Parmesan sliders and the fries. Don’t have the picture, but the chicken wings are great as well. I asked for a customized pineapple cocktail, which was good as well, overall decent price for the star locality. They have great Tuesday, Thursday, Wednesday and weekend offers as well. They’re open until late night, good atmosphere and great decoration as well.

Visited the Common Table for the first time over the weekend. It happened to coincide with a hip hop brunch. The music was pretty loud and it made talking to my friend difficult. Unfortunately that will color my review. The food was good. I didn't order anything crazy - Greek salad and a side of grits. I think that they were offering an abbreviated menu because of the themed brunch. Service was fine. No major complaints except for the volume of the music. We sat outside. May have to come again to see what it's like on a normal day.

The restaurant is in a great location we stopped in before heading for Santa photos at the Star. Unfortunately the service was very slow despite being 2 host/servers and just 2 tables occupied and the bar having its own tender. Getting refills and check was challenging. Food options were great and food itself was okay just prefer having something to wash it down with while food is warm. Not sure id try it again.

We arrived on a Saturday afternoon at 330pm. It was fairly busy but we were seated right away. There was really good music playing wicked loud. We were given brunch menus. I didn't really want breakfast food but I was able to get a Greek salad with salmon. It was pretty tasty. It wasn't $30 tasty but I did eat it all. It was a decent experience but I doubt I'll return. It's not my jam. The others in my party ordered the Greek salad with shrimp and chicken waffles. They enjoyed their meals as well.

I’ve only ever been to Common Table on the weekends.. and it’s been a while, and I visited today (Thursday) for lunch. I remember the food being great.. ambience is always a vibe. I walked in and ordered food to go.. the place was pretty dead… but it IS a weekday… I ordered the Braised Short Ribs with mashed potatoes and honestly, they didn’t even TRY! The ribs are tender, but I don’t think they even salted them!! The carrots, celery, and onions were BARELY chopped and I don’t think they even made it into a pan/skillet.. the mashed potatoes taste extremely bland… I’m just so disappointed all around… and paid a lot of money for this sad meal…

I’m currently at Common Table in Frisco, Texas, and what I just witnessed was absolutely disgusting. I watched a server bring a drink back to the bar because something was wrong with it. Instead of dumping it like any sane, sanitary establishment would do, both the server and the bartender leaned their faces directly over the glass and started sniffing it. Not from a distance, they were close enough to be breathing all over it. At that point it stopped being a drink and became a contamination risk. It was close enough for spit, mucus, or anything else to end up in that glass. And then, unbelievably, I watched that same drink get picked up and served to a customer. I confronted the bartender and asked if it was normal for them to put their faces over drinks and then still serve them. His response was rude, dismissive, and alarming: “At least you didn’t get it, so it doesn’t matter.” The attitude behind it was even worse, as if basic hygiene and public health are some kind of joke. In a time where people are constantly getting sick and COVID is literally making a comeback, this level of carelessness is unacceptable. It’s reckless. It’s unsanitary. And it’s dangerous. Then I saw the dishwashing situation, which only confirmed how little they care. Champagne glasses were laid on their sides in the washer. Anyone with common sense knows that glasses need to be positioned so water can fully flush through them. I owned a cleaning company, and there is no way those glasses were properly cleaned. Yet they were pulled out and put right back into circulation like nothing was wrong. I would seriously question my safety before drinking anything from this place. What I witnessed tonight completely killed any confidence I had in this establishment. The standards were nonexistent. The attitude was worse. And the entire situation was flat-out nasty.

I placed a pickup order for the braised short rib and I was thoroughly disappointed. It’s supposed to come with a red wine demi glaze, but that was nowhere to be found. It also came covered with fried onion rings, and the description of the item online does not mention that at the time of this review. But here’s the kicker: I found a long black hair in my food. Absolutely disgusting. I tried to call the restaurant several times to request a refund, but they use an automated system that listens for your answers, and it did not recognize what I was saying and kept hanging up on me. Very frustrating and I will not be eating from here ever again.

Upon walking in, the host didn’t even look up. She was texting and barely acknowledged us. She offered us to choose our seats , we chose outside. We sat down for about 30 minutes after getting our menu , and never even received a beverage. Two servers made eye contact with us as they actively served the other customers several items. They never acknowledged us being there. I would’ve appreciated at least telling us to wait one moment or the host who was not doing anything to offer to take the drink order and relay it to the server, at the very least. I used to love to come here and grab a drink and quick brunch with my girl friends when they come in town. I went in today , to celebrate my Husband’s birthday, while we had time to ourselves before grabbing the kiddos. Instead we left hungry, disappointed and feeling like we could’ve just went to Jam Toast. They blocked their own blessing as we tip very well… please , do better.

Only been here late night so I can only assume it's far better during the day based on reviews. But at night this place loses all class. It turns into the equivalent of a college town party bar. The bartenders don't know classic cocktails even though there are basic modern variations on their menu. The service is barely okay. Staff will sit down with their friends while they are working then apologize for how long the food took to come out. I've never had a hot plate from here. Everything always comes out cold. One time we ordered chips and got nothing but broken pieces and crumbs. The clientele is super rowdy and far less friendly than a neighborhood dive. If I'm paying for a certain experience there are certain standards that need to be met. This place doesn't get that. Would rather go anywhere else in The Star.
