Came to this super cool place, thanks to my friend who’s been seeing Kalaveras pop up everywhere, it seems. It was taco Tuesday for just 199 each. There were 6(?) flavors and they were all DELICIOUS and so juicy and tender. Chicken, pork belly, carnitas, carne, barbacoa, vegetarian, and another beef. I know I will be coming here a lot. Already coming back on Sunday.

Food was great, atmosphere was a really good vibe and the service as amazing. Our server Ana was next level. Helped us with suggestions for amazing drinks and walked us through the menu for a fantastic dinner. If your on the fence about coming in. Jump off and come in and ask for Ana. She'll point you in the right direction for a great evening. You can thank me later

I’m happy that they decided to open up a Kalaveras in Downtown Fullerton. This is my go to spot for happy hour, date night or just to grab a beer. The staff is always welcoming and we have had the pleasure of being served on by Allan. The managers often make a visit to each table to make sure everything is well. Be prepared to pay for parking on the weekends. The happy hour menu is such a great value and the carne asada fries are fire!

We went early, before 5pm and it was empty, just 1 family was seated so no waiting. We made a reservation and didn't need it. The service was great! The ribeye tacos and barbacoa enchiladas were delicious!

Kalaveras downtown Fullerton whooo!!!! Thank you for the tacos Tuesday $1.99 each all meats minus the ribeye and seafood. Carnitas is by far my favorite! The micheladas and guava slushie margarita were very good. Ask for Allan he was our server and was awesome! Catch some live banda here on Sundays 9 pm to 12 am. Thank you for making my girls' birthday lit!!! See y'all Sundays....

My train at Fullerton was delayed by an hour, walked into this place and had wonderful service. The waiter Bronny was excellent. One of the best tacos I’ve had in a while, got the mushroom and Carnitas. Cocktail was great. Highly recommend.

Wow, brunch here was fantastic! I got the chilaquiles and they were bursting with flavor. Our bartender, Lucia, made incredible Blood Orange Mojitos—fresh, not premixed, which I really appreciated. We did get the wrong dish at first, but the manager, Gustavo, stepped in right away and fixed everything quickly and kindly. Overall, such a great brunch outing!

Our server Patrick was awesome we had a great time and he was so friendly and efficient. However, the manager made us feel uncomfortable as if we were going to walk out on our tab. Weird looks and he kept coming by our table when a couple of us went to the restroom. Everyone at the table could of covered the tab. If it was a concern they could of handled it professionally and asked us to keep a card on file. Not sure if we will be back. Mixed feelings because our server was awesome but manager made us feel uncomfortable. Server 5 stars manager 1

Went in here for a taco Tuesday which is great deal (1.49 small tacos) but it's self serve unlike other taco Tuesdays in downtown Fullerton where it's table service. Appreciate the vegan option for taco Tuesday (mushroom) however the food overall was just average. Cocktails were good but smaller than other in the area. Customer service was good. I've tried their long beach location and it's a lot bigger but food is just average over there as well. Worth a try overall

The food was very standard in comparison to other Mexican food restaurants; however, the service was very poor. Our server was incompetent because they were unable to provide our food in a timely manner, especially my friend’s dish that took an additional 40 min to receive. The drinks were lackluster as they lacked any unique taste or any semblance of alcohol. The only redeeming quality of this restaurant was its aesthetic. In the end I wouldn’t spend my time or money at this restaurant.

I’ve been coming here on Tuesdays for the taco bar and I’ve had a great experience until today. I walked in and asked the bartender if they were open and then she seated me and I asked her a question and she just dismissed me like I’m some peasant. Then walks over to the waiter and they look over at me and start laughing. Then the waiter asked me what I want and mid sentence walks away from me because I didn’t want an alcoholic drink or a sugar drink. Then as he’s walking back with the receipt for the tacos, he just throws it at me on the table like I’m a nobody. What a depressing vibe this place had today and it’s purely because of the people working. I won’t be back. There are Mexican restaurants on every corner!
